We don’t have to understand everything God is doing in order to trust Him.

A Light At the End of the Tunnel - Micah 7:1-13
In times of difficulty, it is common to encourage one another with the phrase “light at the end of the tunnel.” Even when things are challenging, it helps to know that good things are coming. When Micah looked around and saw a world filled with evil, he nevertheless rejoiced and trusted in God, knowing that He would keep his promises to his people.

HOSEA 1: Faithless Bride
Hosea’s life was a type and shadow of what the future Messiah would suffer because He can bear us and our sin.

The entire Old Testament is filled with the cycle Israel went through. This cycle can especially be seen in the book of Judges.
The opening of the Book…

Locusts Ravage Everything They Touch
I remember seeing an old movie about some settlers on the prairie who were attacked by a swarm of locusts. The insects literally darkened the sky like a cloud and brought darkness and fear everywhere they went. These clouds of millions of bugs literally consumed all of the crops in their path. These kinds of swarms of Locusts came sweeping through Biblical lands from time to time, eating crops,…

There is one sidequest from totk that I found it super relatable is that one the old lady shopkeeper from kakariko is short on eggs because her cuccos are laying them in a new place and she didn't figure it out where yet
When I had chickens that was a thing that happened all the time, they just change their nests as they please
Seeing this on tears of the kingdom was such a cute detail, having a sidequest like that; love the game even more by the little details it brings

From the Dark Depths - Jonah 2
There is little doubt that Jonah’s story of fleeing from God and getting swallowed by the great fish is a famous one. Yet the story of Jonah also teaches about repentance and God’s love for all people. And in the middle of the story is an example of prayer from which we hope to learn a little bit as we study together this week.

The Smitten Suitor and the Unfaithful Wife: Can They Find Restoration?
Sin, addiction, and selfishness threatened to destroy the relationship between the Smitten Suitor and the wayward bride. There was a destructive pattern of behavior which caused irreparable harm. Restoration seemed impossible between them, because the betrayal was too personal, and the wounds were too deep.
