Everyone again please keep Damar Hamlin in your thoughts and prayers tonight. This game has been postponed but please again let’s focus more on the health of Damar Hamlin. Right now that’s all I’m worried about because again this has been very frightening. I am thinking about Hamlin’s family right now especially his mom who was at the game and currently at the hospital with her son. I am hoping Damar Hamlin will be okay.

Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV

Paul's simple instruction to the Thessalonian church is short and to the point. It echoes what we read in Luke 18:1

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

This does not mean that we are to be on our knees in prayer 24/7. What this does mean is that we are to maintain an attitude of prayer. Prayer was never meant to be a once a day or once a week or just before a meal. Unlike like friends and family, God is with us wherever we go, so we can talk to him wherever we are.

While we are preparing for the day, on the way to work, while we are working, on the way home, running errands, doing chores, during evening routine, after all is quiet, are  all good times to invite God to fellowship with you in prayer. All of life is best handled with prayer!
