Important Materials and Tools for Miniatures
There are many different materials and tools that can be used for creating and customizing miniature figurines. Here are some of the most important ones:
Sculpting Materials: These can include various types of clay, such as polymer clay, epoxy putty, and air-dry clay. These materials are used to sculpt the basic shape of the miniature.
Painting Materials: These include acrylic paints, paint brushes, and varnishes. They are used to add color and detail to the miniature after it has been sculpted.
Cutting Tools: These can include hobby knives, scissors, and wire cutters. They are used to cut and shape the miniature, as well as to remove any excess material.
Sanding Tools: Sandpaper and sanding blocks are used to smooth and refine the surface of the miniature after it has been sculpted and cut.
Magnifying Tools: Magnifying glasses or lamps can be helpful for seeing small details and working on intricate parts of the miniature.
Mold Making Materials: Silicone or latex rubber can be used to create molds of existing miniatures, which can then be used to make copies or modifications of the original.
Base Materials: Bases or plinths can be used to display the miniature, and can be made from materials such as wood, plastic, or resin.
Reference Materials: Reference books, online tutorials, and other resources can be helpful for learning techniques and getting inspiration for creating and customizing miniatures.
Overall, the materials and tools needed for miniature sculpting and customization can vary depending on the specific project and the individual's preferences and techniques. However, the above list includes some of the most commonly used materials and tools for creating and customizing miniature figurines.

Anyone who's ever talked to me about D&D for more than five minutes knows that I love mimics. It should then come as no surprise that I painted this mimic family from Dungeons & Lasers: Animal Companions. Now I should find a way to use them...
All three were painted with the Army Painter’s Speedpaints.

This was a fun little guy to customize! I found this tiny plastic Spanish fighting bull (Toro de Lidia) in an antique shop a while back. He was probably a vintage souvenir from Mexico or Spain, and his original black paint job was flaking off. So he got sanded and repainted to this lovely golden brown--a color I may do on a Breyer in the future since it turned out so nicely. I'm not a fan of bullfighting, so I like to think that he's sparring with another bull, or defending his herd from danger.
He is available at https://www.etsy.com/listing/1667496430/bruno-custom-golden-brown-spanish

These little guys love to wear their ponchos and be mystical. Made Celestine the Raccoon, Amora the Dog, and Leonessa the Lion out of polymer clay and dressed them in mini felt clothes :^)

2024 OOAK Epoxy Figurines
I made a new set of OOAK Figurines when I went to MCM London 2024. I only make my epoxy figurines for conventions as they so expensive to make and ship, plus they make a great eye catch for my stall.
This year I made some mochi rabbits with the spare epoxy so there was no waste (thank god).

OOAK Winged Goats 🐐
I love making these guys the most, even though they're so complicated. Each one has magnatised wings and head so they're posable and interchangeable!! I made seperate ears and horns so I could make all of these guys unique from each other.
Number 1 "Moss" was designed by Sev_thecat on twitter, and number 2 "Bunny" was designed by @summers-art (which was based off their oc, but I've forgotten their name >-< )

OOAK Sweet Huskies 🐕
A much simplier cast to make but I had some fun making little accessories for each of them! I also experimented with some watercolour and interference paint (which changes colour depending on where you look)
I love having some freedom to just try out whatever comes to mind.
