It was way over 9pm, which means it was past your little daughter's bedtime.

And yet not a strand of the white haired toddler could be seen throughout the mansion ever since the Crow Twins started a Hide-and-Seek game right after dinner hours ago.

You were getting worried, agitated even, and it didn't help that Sylus seemed so calm and nonchalant about it. His amused eyes followed your every step as you looked through rooms after rooms to find your little girl.

The deep chuckle he lets out when you stomp your feet in frustration, both hands planting on your hips as you glared up at him, "Are you going to help me find your little fiend or not?"

Sylus gasped dramatically, placing a hand over his chest in a feigned shock as he gazed at you with a pout. "Fiend? My dear, our daughter is an angel."

You rolled your eyes, storming towards him and poking on his chest with an annoyed grumble. "She will be an angel once you put her to bed now or you'll be sleeping on the couch tonight, my darling insufferable husband."

From the upper stairs, Luke and Kieran snickered quietly, not wanting to be the receiving end of your wrath. Their eyes flickered upwards towards the source of your headache then back to Sylus who coincidentally locked sight with the twins with a knowing look.

Luke and Kieran immediately straighten up with a playful salute as they disappear down the hallway, knowing full well you were going to whoop their asses sooner or later when Sylus finally revealed the whereabouts of his mischievous little daughter with an equally playful grin in his tone.

"Have you tried looking up, sweetie?"

You paused, confused until you looked upwards where Sylus oh so casually pointed, specifically towards the large antique chandelier in the middle of the room - where your little daughter was dangling upside down, her dragon tail curled firmly around the metal and her small wings fluttering excitedly as she let out a high-pitched squeal at finally being found by you.

Meanwhile you nearly had a heart attack right then and there.

"SYLUS GET HER DOWN HERE NOWWWW!"

Tim was startled awake by his phone ringing. He sighed, exhausted.

Tim: It's my day off, so of course, he’d call me while I’m sleeping.

Tim answered the call, hearing Bruce's voice giving him a migraine as he spoke.

Tim: Before you ask me anything, I need to set up something.

Tim navigated to a recording app on his phone and hit the red button to record.

Tim: For the duration of this phone call, you will be recorded. This is for my protection and yours. You may speak now.

Bruce: You seriously aren't recording me, are you?

Tim: I am, it's so I have proof. And seeing as you're calling me on my day off at ten in the morning, this must be important. So let's skip past the recording part and you can tell me what you need.

Bruce: I'm in my car, so I can say this. I need you to work patrols tonight… without overtime.

Tim: What was that last part? I didn't quite hear that, and my recording didn't hear that, so I just need you to repeat it.

Bruce: I thought since you like fighting crime, you would want to work solo, and we don’t do that silly overtime.

Tim (raising his voice): Oh, I can't do that for you, Bruce. I can’t work without the extra money!

Bruce groaned, and the sound of a car horn was heard, making Tim laugh.

Bruce: Why do I even have to pay you overtime? You work for me at Wayne Enterprises!

Tim: Because I work two jobs, and unlike you, who can make money every second, I need money to afford nice things and pay rent. I’m not working two jobs, and one of them isn't paying me. I’m in my twenties, so I expect to get paid accordingly.

Bruce: I really regret that you’re the smart one in the family.

Tim: That’s fine. I’ll be out tonight, but just make sure you pay me that overtime. And I will end the recording as soon as this call ends.

Bruce (angry): …

Tim: I got all day. It’s my day off, remember?

Bruce ended the call, and Tim covered his eyes with his arm as Bernard chuckled while typing at the desk.

Bernard: You drive him crazy, you know that?

Tim (pridefully): Yeah, it feels good.

Ever since I saw the original concept sketches for Ladybug, in the Mini Menace mock-up comic covers, I've been fascinated by the original Ladybug, Marietta. What would MLB be like if Marietta was still the main character?

And then I got to wondering further...what if Marietta and Marinette met?

So, kind of like the Twins AU with Marinette and Bridgette, I'm introducing my Mini Menaces AU, with Marinette and Marietta Dupain-Cheng.

Solange is a local star. not famous by any means but known in town.

responsible for placing the cult leader mindset seed in Noé's head. they used to just watch cult documentaries and videos of cult leaders preaching to their followers during Noé's formative years and all he took away from that is "these guys are really charming and lots of people love them <3"

plus he was pretty revered by his parents when he was younger because they believed they were two of few people that weren't inherently evil and they just made a child !!! that's one more perfect good person !

these two were so in love with each other it was sickening to everyone around them.

if you don't pay attention to the blood, and the cannibalism, and the mutual encouraged violence against each other, they're just two lovebirds (˶◜ᵕ◝˶)

Romī was fucked from the beginning because these two would just...tell her this insane stuff as a kid. in graphic detail. like doing an impromptu, unanesthetized surgery on your lover is peak romance.

The Twins Parents

Frances [she/her] and Izumi [they/them]

teen parents!! they were fuck buddies in their school days

Izumi was an exchange student and Frances got pregnant in the last month of them being in the country. they left before she found out. they didn't keep in touch so Izumi is just like...completely unaware of the twins.

Frances took the twins to the orphanage with plans to continue to visit them but she just couldn't take care of them. she went missing not long after.

Izumi had mentioned in passing once that they liked the name "Tamayo" and that's where Frances got her name from.

- Tomoe was a name she chose that just sounded good next to Tamayo in her mind.

Tim entered Bruce's office, burying his inner rage and clenching his fists to contain it.

Tim: Hey, Bruce. I'm probably going to get arrested today along with that coworker, Kylar. Can you bail me out when that happens?

Bruce: Sorry… what?

Tim: I'm about to punch Kylar in the jaw, and I'm going to get arrested for it. He'll end up in the slammer too after what he did to my car. Have a good meeting.

Tim left the office humming to himself, while Bruce hurriedly followed, dragging Tim back in just as another worker looked on, intrigued by the exchange.

Bruce: Tell me what's going on, and I can handle it.

Tim: Kylar found out I have a boyfriend because he asked, “Hey, who's the guy that's always dropping you off at work? Your boyfriend?” I said yes, and it shocked him, so he wouldn’t let it go. How dare I actually get out of the house, right? Then he found out where I lived and spray painted the slur that always refers to a bundle of sticks on my car. I have video proof and confronted him, but he doesn’t care… he just doesn’t care! So I’m going to deal with him myself. See ya at the police station.

Tim attempted to leave the office again but was dragged back in by Bruce. Frustrated, Tim crossed his arms.

Andrew (the coworker chuckling): Oh, dude, that sucks! Kylar has always been toxic. If he could’ve, he would’ve started a podcast in college. Punching him at work isn’t worth it.

Bruce: Exactly, thank you, Andrew.

Andrew (popping gum in his mouth): You should hit him outside of work.

Bruce (calmly): Andrew, shut up. Tim, not that I'm dismissing your anger, but you can’t go around hitting people in the face.

Tim (raising an eyebrow): Really, Bruce?

Bruce: You know what I mean. As long as you have evidence, and I talk to other workers who witnessed this, we can handle it like mature adults. Probably by firing him.

Tim: Alright… And I can’t punch him after work?

Bruce: No, you should go home. I’ll drive you.

Tim: A day off from work? Sure... Because if I’m around Kylar for even five minutes, I’m going to—

Andrew: Not on the clock.

Bruce: He’s right.

Tim nodded, leaving Bruce's office with his father close behind. Just as they stepped out, Kylar spotted them and quickly walked away, clearly intimidated by Bruce Wayne’s presence.
