So I have a really niche favorite Minecraft block. You might be like "oh, it can't be that weird", but trust me, it's weird.

For context: I've been playing and/or watching people play this game since 2012 (meaning several items have nostalgic value to me), my favorite update is the Caves and Cliffs update, my favorite biome in the game is the lush cave, and I have an affinity for the Grian method of building, that is "dark stones + spruce wood + accents of soft yet vibrant color = sexy MFer."

If you didn't guess that my favorite material in the game is this sexy menace to society, I don't know what to tell you.

And the thing is I don't know why I like it either? Like, yeah, it's pretty, but aside from that, it's not that special. Is it because its texture isn't appalling like diorite? Is it because I normally use it as an accentor, meaning that it's initial charm isn't lost on me like white concrete? Is it because it reminds me more of quartz than actual quarts?
