I still am not over how cute Milly and Elliot are. So here's Milly and the cactus, love them.

Wow I haven't ranted ab drawings in a while

Anyways this took a little longer than I expected. Ik I've slowed down a lot when it comes to digital drawing and had a small art block in the middle of this but whatever idk where I'm going with this. The skin was a struggle. I wanted it to look like it's in the sunlight, horribly failed that. I'm not a fan of the hair either and aghhhh, I kinda speedran the backround and cactus rendering too, I was lazy and kinda upset djjdjdjshshisjssjjsisjsjs at least ik what I need to do more studies on. Even if I'm not very satisfied, I still kinda like it.

Just watched ep 2 of the spin off so here are my thoughts

It was so cuteee!!!!!! I love Elliot smmm! And he and Milly are so cute too!

Elliot has no right to be this relatable lol

I also really love the new side characters (especially Brad)

I think that Brad joining the club was really predictable from the moment he was introduced the first time but I still really liked it

And I really like him as a character

and none of the gardening club having any good, proper social skills???? Yes!! They're great.

The Milliot!!!!! Incredible!!!! 10/10!!!! And Elliot giving Milly the cactus????? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa they're perfect <3

As a second ship that I noticed but don't like as nearly much as Milliot is Brad and Elliot but that might just be me reading into it too much/how much I love both of those characters lol

Another detail I love is how Elliot still has anxiety at the end. I love that he doesn't learn to get rid of it, he learns to work with it.

It bugs me so much how many series there are where characters 'get rid' of their mental illness or disability or whatever because that's just not how it works.

Thats something that I love about tmf in general, their problems are real things that kids their age go through and they handle them in ways that make sense for people their age. And the above point

Thoughts on the new spinoff episode.

I REALLY LIKED IT OK

this is like the only episode i’ve rewatched of my own volition.

for starters, Elliot being a little more confident and how his character grows here is absolutely amazing and i love how realistic it is. he’s such a little guy, and with milly he’s starting to be a bit more confident but his anxiety holding him back is so relatable and i think his club will flourish.

Milly being so concerned is like “me fr with my girlfriend” like 😭😭 but her realizing someone likes her because someone takes notice of her deeper parts and more caring side is SO FUCKING SWEET HELLO???? like the pink cactus flower was the perfect gift for her and elliot just got that aurizzm lmao

BRADLEY IS JUST LIKE ME FR like dude people using you to scare off others sucks and i loved how his character was so easily judgeable to the point where it reversed in on itself, kinda like how reverse psychology works. he’s such a sweetheart and i love how he just 🧍 at the end 😭😭

long story short, this episode was great. the story progressed really smoothly and i loved the character development here which is so lovely because seeing elliot talk because of his own volition rather than being forced just shows that even with social anxiety, that if you have someone to support you you can grow. and milly being the most supportive sweetheart to this pathetic boy is something that i needed to see from the pink haired devil herself.

11/10 episode, highly recommend to watch especially after the first of the two.
