6 lipca 1921 roku w Rzymie powstała organizacja Arditi del Popolo (Śmiałkowie Ludu). Była to jedna z pierwszych bojowych grup antyfaszystowskich w historii. Jej zadaniem była obrona robotnikow i robotnic przed nasilającymi się atakami Czarnych Koszul dowodzonych przez Mussoliniego.

On July 6, 1921, the Arditi del Popolo (Adventurous People) organization was established in Rome. It was one of the first militant anti-fascist groups in history. Its task was to defend workers against the intensifying attacks of the Black Shirts led by Mussolini.

Turkey’s Ministry of National Defence claimed to have “neutralised” 26 more PKK militants

Turkish security forces have “neutralised” 26 more PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) fighters in northern Syria and Iraq, the country’s national defence ministry reported on Monday.

According to preliminary findings, at least 26 terrorists were neutralized in airstrikes targeting terrorist elements in the northern regions of Iraq and Syria on December 23, 2023.

National Defence Minister Yasar Guler claimed on Sunday that the number of those “neutralised” after military operations in the Claw-Lock area of northern Iraq had risen to 30.

Following Friday’s PKK attack that killed 12 soldiers, Turkish airstrikes destroyed dozens of targets in northern Iraq and Syria. Some 56 militants have been “neutralised” due to the latest action.

i’ve been thinking about innocuous photos like the one on the left. because it is my job to neglect the sprouts of imperialism and racism that accompanied my upbringing, i've been attempting to find solidarity even in the innocuous. and how easily it comes: marah and i, both schoolgirls who like cute things, both compelled by the desire to photograph our supplies after arranging them to be just-so. the photo on the right is an old one of mine.

i think the answer would be “everything.” maybe you’re united by the love you have for your pets, being fans of the same goth rock band, or the fact that, were something of severity to happen to your family, you’d also be online, asking for help in a way your elders might find it hard to wrap their heads around, and making sure people knew they could trust your campaign.

and if this were a message you were sending, i hope that your hope would remain in tact, because people like us, on the other end, would be doing everything they could to help you.
