Ngl I am like 90% convinced at this point that the reason why Fromsoft went the Promised Retcon route is because they are too cowardly to break the mold of their dlc standards i.e. "the dlc is contained and does not affect the rest of the game." And if they went the Miquella Godwyn route of grating him a True Death, then they would have to go back and get rid of all the Death Root and Skeleton enemies add some stuff into Fia's Quest but they are just to fucking lazy to put in that kind of effort

I would have soooo preferred the lycoreco event to be Chisato and Takina + the Holy Quintet. Yeah yeah I know the Mikazaki girls are Magirecos main characters so of course their gonna use them. But. Chisato and Takina have wayyyyy more in common with the quintet and it would be so much more interesting. Homura and Takina share like everything. Homura and Chisato share growing up with a heart condition. Chisato and Madoka’s stubborn devotion to saving people. They missed the mark so bad let’s be real

A Rose and Its Thorns Prequel

Decided to write a prequel to A Rose and It’s Thorns to show how it all began.

Again, I suck at summaries. But enjoy!

Story summary: Mayumi and Kurama, early in their friendship, are walking home from school when things go south.

“Well, I’ll see you on Monday, Shuichi. Have a nice weekend,” Mayumi said, waving goodbye to her once project partner, now friend as they went their separate ways while walking home.

“Yes, you too,” Shuichi, or rather Kurama, said waving after her. It felt nice to have someone like this in his life again. Ever since Maya, he’s been careful with making friends but when he first met Mayumi, he knew something was different. Her family, the Mikazaki clan, had been demon hunters for ages. And if he was right, he sensed that she was strong too. He planned to tell her the truth. Eventually. Mayumi herself knew something was different with him too. She just couldn’t place it. He had suppressed his demonic energy around her but she still sensed something.

Speaking of sensing something, she sensed a demonic presence approaching her once Shuichi left. She kept walking, reaching over to fiddle with the silver bracelet on her left wrist. Once it got close, she stopped walking and glanced over her shoulder.

And… I made another Suru order before the Lunar New Year holidays… XD;;

Mainly got it for that Awataguchi tapestry that I’ve been looking everywhere for! And for those IchiMika doujinshi. There was a third one but though it was available when my proxy put it in her cart, it was marked sold out when she pressed checkout… This happened in just a few minutes…. This is the 3rd time something like that has happened… I’m guessing someone bought it at one of their physical stores and the system only checked for its availability when my proxy pressed checkout??

Anyway, as for those Tourabu straps, I got them for Mikazaki actually! It’ll be perfect as the phone of my Ichigo BJD (that I still need to pick a faceup artist for…) I saw it at a local store but the price they were asking for it was rather high… And now I have the whole set for a third of the price! Not sure what I’ll do with the others, probably keep Tsuru and the ones with Awataguchi boys. Maybe do a giveaway for the others?? I’ve always wanted to try doing a giveaway but too lazy to figure out how to go about it… orz

And have been waiting and waiting for that Ryo Koedarize strap to be back in stock. Then saw that they were selling a brand-new box of them at half price, so… (๑•́ ₃ •̀๑)

I also feel they certainly listed to people for having "what happened to Kuroe?" and "Kuroe needs more screen time!". Now I really want her in the game although scenes in this episode made me think she somewhat represents Shizuku as the "almost sixth member of Mikazaki villa".

The Magia record anime gets away with changing the plot where others don’t because the changes seem clearly made with the fans in mind “What if Kaede was suckered into the Wings of Magius? What if Yachiyo thought Iroha died and went apeshit? What if Yachiyo got sucked into Iroha’s doppel’s dream that showcased her deep insecurities about losing the people that matter most in her life? Wouldn’t that be cool?” Then they put enough thought and effort into those plot points that it really was cool. I also appreciate that they used the extra time they had to finish the plot to see what the fans really wanted and improve.

Halo !

Tumblr ini beberapa hari ke depan akan membahas bahasan-bahasan yang lain lho !

setiap beberapa minggu sekali, saya akan membahas kemajuan-kemajuan teknologi dan kedokteran dari sudut pandang saya sebagai (calon) dokter. Tujuannya tentu supaya bisa sharing ilmu , karena benar seperti kata ulama terdahulu, “ikatlah ilmu dengan menulis,” begitu ujarnya.

kali ini, ada bahasan yang mengusik pikiran ini sejak tahun 2016, apa itu? keep reading !

nah, di awal ada foto robot kan? itu adalah robot perang sebenarnya.

yep, untuk penggemar Anime robot bernama “Gundam”, ini bukanlah hal yang asing,

ini adalah Gundam Barbatos, robot Gundam milik tokoh pemeran utama, Mikazaki Augus

Ada yang menarik di sini rekan-rekan. Setidaknya menurutku itu menarik.

pada serial Gundam kali ini, pengendalian Gundam tidak hanya dengan menggunakan tombol2 pada user interface layaknya komputer biasa. Tetapi dengan sebuah metode yang menjadi judul post kali ini :

Alaya-Vijnaya System

Sistem ini (menurut penjelasan dari situs ini dan ini), memungkinkan pilot gundam untuk lebih merasakan gundam sebagaimana tubuhnya sendiri.

Baik, mari kita mulai pembahasan secara sains. Mari kita lihat gambar di atas.

Alat ini dipasang melalui punggung dengan tujuan untuk tersambung dengan spinal cord. Ketika dipasang, nanomachines akan terhubung dengan spinal cord dan menjalar ke atas menuju cerebrum dan berintegrasi dengan lobus-lobus menjadi sebuah pseudobrain-lobe. Bayangan saya, dengan menyatu dengan lobus-lobus yang dituju, maka segala gerakan motorik atau sensorik akan dialirkan juga melalui Alaya-Vijnaya System juga. 

Ibaratnya ketika Mikazuki mau menggerakkan tangan, ya tangan Gundam akan bergerak.

Lalu kira-kira apa saja bagian otak yang mana yang akan terintegrasi?

satu hal yang pasti, jalur motorik yang akan terintegrasi.

Kalau saya menjadi Mikazuki, saya tidak ingin jalur sensorik terintegrasi dengan Gundam. Kan tidak lucu kalau Gundamnya kena ledakan dan tubuh kita ikut terasa nyeri. Jalur motorik lebih baik yang terintegrasi.

Nah, jalur (atau dalam hal ini disebut jaras) motorik itu terbagi menjadi dua : 

1. Tractus Pyramidalis

2. Tractus Extrapyramidalis

tuh yang merah-merah

Tractus Pyramidalis itu jalurnya berfungsi untuk gerakan-gerakan yang volunter. Mengangkat tangan, menutup mata, menendang, dan lain-lain.

Tractus Extrapyramidalis itu jalurnya berfungsi untuk menjadi support Tractus Pyramidalis. Misal Rubrospinal Tract, itu untuk mengatur dan memperhalus gerakan otot-otot besar yang ada di anggota gerak atas. Ada Vestibulospinal Tract untuk membenarkan posisi tubuh beserta posturnya. Dan fungsi lainnya yang saya pikir sangat diperlukan untuk gerakan Gundam yang lebih baik.

itu tuh di punggung Mikazuki ada 3 buah lubang kan? Itu alat yang sudah dipasang ke dalam spinal cordnya. 

Nah, kira-kira, possible/tidak possible ya sistem ini?

hmm, ini pertimbangan-pertimbangan yang saya pikirkan :

1. Respon tubuh yaitu Graft Rejection. Graft Rejection itu adalah respon penolakan tubuh terhadap organ yang baru di dalam tubuh, begitu simpelnya. Semisal sistem ini tidak dipasang dengan hati-hati, maka akan ada reaksi penolakan oleh tubuh. Organ baru ini adalah Alaya-Vijnaya System, dan reaksi penolakan berlebihan oleh sistem imun tubuh bisa beragam dari yang ringan sampai parah. Sebenarnya bisa diatasi terlebih dahulu dengan obat penekan sistem imun yaitu immunosupressan, jadi saya pikir respon tubuh dapat menjadi masalah kalau penanganannya tidak tepat.

2. Resiko kerusakan spinal cord. Spinal cord itu kalau rusak ... fatal sekali bung. Pasalnya, spinal cord itu mengandung banyak jaras ini itu, seperti gambar di atas. Resiko operasi pada spinal cord itu banyak, bisa paralisis hemiplegi (satu bagian saja yang lumpuh), Paraplegi (anggota tubuh bawah) bahkan Tetraplegi (semua anggota tubuh). Sekali lagi, penanganan yang tidak tepat pada pemasangan oleh tenaga yang tidak profesional bisa meningkatkan risiko di sini.

3. Nanomachine berintegrasi dengan otak. Sejujurnya saya belum bisa membayangkannya.. Tapi melihat teknologi nanomachine yang semakin pesat, jadi saya serahkan kepada nanoscientist untuk memikirkannya hehe. Yang perlu diperhatikan, untuk menembus otak itu tidaklah mudah. Banyak barrier yang harus ditembus. Operator bedah saraf pun perlu lebih dari setengah jam untuk benar-benar membuka tempurung otak, mengingat otak (yang seperti konsistensinya tahu) itu rentan tercuil hehe

4.  Posisi pemasangan. Posisi pemasangan ini penting, dipasang di mana tempatnya ya kira-kira? Yang paling pas menurut saya tepat di bawah leher, sama seperti gambar anime. Pertimbangannya adalah kalau di leher, khawatirnya bila dipasang terlalu dalam dan ke atas dapat mengenai medula oblongata, mengganggu regulasi pernafasan.

Hmm efek samping nya banyak ya ...

Penentuan suatu operasi harus berdasarkan dari berbagai pertimbangan, apakah risiko lebih besar daripada keuntungan?

Keuntungannya, gundam dapat bergerak lebih luwes, lebih berasa, dan saya yakin, jauh lebih kuat dan responsif.  Untuk proyek seorang superhuman army, ini sangat menjanjikan.

Kerugiannya ... paralisis, lumpuh nafas, reaksi alergi tubuh berlebihan, kerusakan otak, dan kematian. Tidak menyenangkan semua.

Jadi, apa teknologi kita dapat secanggih ini di masa depan?

menurut saya sih, bisa!

Sebenarnya teknologi untuk integrasi manusia-robot itu bisa membuat keuntungan yang banyak. Misal terpasang pada mobil, pengemudi tidak musti melihat ke belakang untuk parkir mundur; cukup dengan merem dan feeling hehe. Atau untuk penggunaan mesin operasi, seorang ahli bedah dapat merasakan alatnya sendiri memasuki tubuh sang pasien. Itu kan asik

This was Oscar gold, that’s probably why it won. Its a bit unfair to dismiss the film like that, it was brilliantly written and had great performances. Plus is loved journalists and hated the catholic church, which I’m very happy to get on board with.

9. Rogue One (Dir. Gareth Edwards)

Also known as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, a more accurate title would have been Rogue One: A Felicity Jones Story, since she was what raised this film to something great. This was as good as any Star Wars film, even without Oscar Isaac.

8. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Dir David Yates)

All of the Harry Potter films are terrible and an insult to anyone with a passing interest in the books. My hopes weren’t high for Fantastic Beasts then, but this is everything those films weren’t; character driven, funny, sweet. Rowling’s screenplay worked because it wasn’t a whizz bang looky-at-all-the-magic story, it was a story about people, who happened to be magic. Plus it didn’t have Daniel Radcliffe or Emma Watson.

7. Moana (Dir. Ron Clements and John Musker)

Disney Animation Studios’ best film yet. Lovely animation, nice songs and a great story. I loved the character of Moana too; with the complete lack of romantic subplot putting it head and shoulders above the rest.

6. When Marnie Was There (Dir. Hiromasa Yonebayashi)

This was being sold as Ghibli’s last film. That’s hopefully no longer the case with Mikazaki possibly coming out of retirement. If this does prove to be the studio’s last film though it was a perfect swan song; sad, strange and utterly lovely. The world will be 2016 level dark without these films.

**** The first half is during Toyotomi times and Ichigo teaches Mikazaki the lullaby so that he can sing it when they are apart as Ichigo is always away with his master, Hideyoshi. Then that part where Ichigo is holding Mikazuki's hand and trying not to be overwhelmed by grief is when Hideyoshi dies and then they are separated...

In the second half, they are reunited but Ichigo can't remember Mikazuki. Then Mikazuki sings their song and it awakens Ichigo's slumbering memories and he ends up holding Mikazaki's hand and humming along with the song, while being filled with feelings of tenderness and love~! ♡
