For her I think scent kink, domination and aphrodisiacs are the big ones. I also think she privately enjoys applying her skills to the creation of such aphrodisiacs for her personal use or for trusted friends. And has repeatedly denied Closure’s requests to mass produce them for profit lol.

Also I gotta say, I already liked Perfumer a bit before getting this ask, but in reading more about her she has shot up my list of operators. She has a mean/teasing streak I didn’t expect! It’s really fun to see that at play with her more up front nurturing/sisterly behavior. I also learned that there is one operator in particular that brings out that other side to Lens better than anyone.

Lena gave the lead wrapped around her fist a firm tug, not long ago this would have been followed immediately by the sounds of stumbling and a string of accented Victorian expletives, but now it only elicited a huff and a slight adjustment of pace.

Lena allowed herself a bit of a smug grin at the show of progress as she walked through a soon to be freshly plowed field far on the edge of the garden. Cultivation truly was her greatest passion, wether it was an unruly plant trimmed back and potted just so…

Or a spirited and stubborn woman in need of a firm hand.

Reaching the edge of the field Lena turned to face her charge for the evening. Operator Bagpipe, and behind her, a heavy steel plough, steadily gouging into the hard packed earth of a new field with Bagpipes every step.

Lena would forgive anyone not recognizing her like this, only her horns and the vibrant shock of red from her hair identified her as the boisterous vouivre operator, and even that was meticulously braided into a thick rope down her back, instead of flying free in its usual wild mane about her head.

Horns and hair aside, the rest of Bagpipes face was obscured by a thick leather hood, it’s only openings being two breathing holes for the nose and one for her mouth, though a thick muzzle concealed her lower face and left the nose holes her only sensory connection to the outside world. Topping it all off was a harness that wove around even her horns, keeping everything in place.

The rest of her body was no less adorned, torso draped in a sturdy harness, arms folded out of the way behind her back in thick leather restraints and finally boots that rose to the thigh and lacked a heel, all her weight instead supported by real steel horseshoes riveted to the bottom of the boots. The entire ensemble a mix of soft browns and greens as per Lena’s preferences.

Add in the thick cables that connected the head and body harnesses back to the heavy steel plough and Bagpipe made the very picture of well outfitted burdenbeast.

As Bagpipe reached the edge of the field Lena slid a glass vial from a holster on her hip, fingers brushing the handle of a whip coiled there as well, made of matching leather matching Bagpipes tack. She wondered if she’d have cause to use it this evening, Pallas had been gracious enough to instruct her in its use when asked and Lena would be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy the application of those lessons.

For now though, her burdenbeast was behaving wonderfully and that called for the carrot not the stick. As she popped the top on the vial and held it up to waft under Bagpipes nose, watching labored breathing become a deep inhale accompanied by a full body shudder, Lena thought back to the beginning of this arrangement.

It had started as a joke, or if Lena was being more honest, an argument.

“Operator Bagpipe. I am telling you /again/ that new equipment on that scale is /not/ in The Garden’s budget right now, you will have to make due with refitting what we have.”

This was becoming an all too familiar scene, interior of Lena’s greenhouse turned office and lodgings, the perfumer pinching the bridge of her nose and the ever irrepressible Bagpipe across from her making the case for the Convalescence Garden to request funds for a new tractor.

Again.

“Come on Nena, give a girl some rope here. What we’ve got gets the job done but it takes an age and a half, at the very least we could do with replacing the engine.”

Bagpipe leaned on Lena’s desk, putting on a truly impressive display of puppy dog eyes that in the end did little to penetrate Lena’s calm exterior. Given how long they had been seeing each other Lena had built up quiet a tolerance against this particular tactic, and as much as she enjoyed Bagpipes company outside of work, the garden was her pride and joy. She took proving that it was an asset to Rhodes and not a money sink very seriously.

“I’m on my knees here, the state of those things right now I’d get the work done faster pulling the plough myself.”

Whereas the pleading eyes that could shake even Miss Skamandros’ resolve had failed, something about Bagpipes grousing struck a chord in Lena. She leaned forward, her face suddenly inches in front of Bagpipe’s

“Would you now? Can you guarantee that Operator Bagpipe?”

To her credit, Bagpipe didn’t back up, though she did visibly swallow, Lena was so close now and as always, smelt so good…

Bagpipe recognized that shift in Lena’s tone, the one that promised good but strenuous things in her immediate future. Serene and caring as her demeanor usually was, Bagpipe had come to understand that Lena had a very different side to her at times, one that Bagpipe in particular seemed to draw out of her.

“W-well, I mean I might be able to.. but it was really just an expression you know I-“

Lena cut off Bagpipe’s stammering with a finger to her lips, keeping it there for a moment as she spoke, to ensure she had Bagpipes attention.

“Every time you’ve come in to ask for a new tractor you have been unable to provide me with a suitable compromise between your desire to tend the fields faster and my desire to ensure the garden can afford to keep running smoothly… until today.”

Letting her finger drop Lena glanced at her terminal, nodding as she confirmed that she had no appointments for therapy this evening.

“Now, I have no shortage of other tasks to see to today, as do you. But if you would like to pursue this proposal of yours, meet me back here this evening and we will discuss it in detail.”

That day was months passed now, and Bagpipes “proposal” had become a sort of ritual between them. It always played out the same way, if her schedule was free enough and the mood struck, Lena would dab on a few drops of a very specific scent, and if Bagpipe responded, Podenco and the rest would be let go early for the day and the garden would be closed for a “private training session” that evening. It was one of the rare indulgences Lena allowed herself and after all, it was good for the garden.

Everything bagpipe wore was custom made, but the hood in particular had been crafted to Lena’s exact specifications, with some help from Pallas, the clever lacing that allowed it to accommodate horns had been her doing.

More importantly though, was the padding over the ears and eyes inside. Lena wanted Bagpipes attention focused solely on the lead attached to her harness, and her sense of smell.

Muffled by layers of leather, loan moans began to reach Lena’s ears as the cocktail of heady scents and aphrodisiacs did its work, amplified manyfold by lack of any other sensory input. Keeping the vial steady with one hand, Lena leaned into Bagpipe as her free hand began to wander lower.

Bagpipes body was as sturdy as her much vaunted stamina would lead you to expect, and even compromised as she was Lena’s weight against her proved no challenge at all. For Lena, this made it all the more satisfying when those strong legs nearly buckled as her fingers pressed into Bagpipe, the ease with which she slid inside proof of how potent her latest batch was.

Working into a steady rhythm it took almost no time at all for Bagpipes low moans to become muffled pleas and desperate gasps, each breath in fueling the fire that Lena stoked expertly stoked with nimble fingers. She knew every way Bagpipe loved to be touched and was merciless in applying said knowledge.

Leather creaked as finally, Bagpipes body went ridged, muscles clenched as she desperately fought to stay standing as her climax crashed over her, Lena’s touch drawing it out over long aftershocks that left Bagpipe breathless and shaking.

But. She was still standing.

Thumbing the top of the vial shut Lena slid it back into its holster before reaching up to unbuckle one side of Bagpipes muzzle. It took no encouraging as slick fingers rose to Bagpipes now free lips, dutifully leaning forward to take them in her mouth and clean them the second her own familiar scent hit her nose, just as Lena had trained her.

Only once they were thoroughly clean did Bagpipe straighten back up, her breathing slowly normalizing even as her mouth still hung slightly open, making it very simple for Lena to reach up and press the tip of a water bottle passed Bagpipes lips, controlling the angle to ensure she drank slowly and steadily.

While Bagpipe drank her fill, Lena indulged herself, leaning in to the crook of Bagpipes neck and taking a deep breath, savoring and analyzing the notes of salt, freshly turned earth, leather and Bagpipes own unique scent, before pressing the cool glass of an empty vial against her neck to collect and store a sample that would form the base of the very scent Lena had trained Bagpipe to respond to. The same one that always signaled the beginning of one of their nights together like this.

“Well done, my fair and strong Akamatos.”

Lena took up the lead and, reasoning that her burdenbeast had been given ample time to collect herself, began tugging her along once more. Bagpipe given no choice, and having no inclination, but to dutifully follow, footsteps heavy but still in the perfect stride she had been trained in. Lena, for her part, felt lighter than she had in weeks.

top 5 etho ships ? bonus points for any explanation

my personal top five in no particular order, and like, ya gotta understand im still new here (hermitcraft/life series) so my opinions are poised to change, but the current standings are:

Bdubs/Etho/Cleo, i'll be honest, i haven't written or read any clethubs, but i saw some art of them that made my brain shortcircuit. they are femdom, himbo, and twink. i just think that Etho should have two people who are stronger than he is on either side of him at all times, bonus points if you let Cleo be the tallest. Bdubs being super clingy, Etho reluctantly tagging along, and Cleo making sure they don't fucking die because yeah they are god damn idiots sometimes, but they're her idiots. and she loves them. and probably gives them noogies and headlocks them.

Cleo/Etho, their marriage in limlife is so much fucking fun, especially when read under an aro4allo lens. Etho whose been happily married for over a decade watching his friends enter relationships and realizing that he loves differently, he doesn't even love remotely close to how they love, love isn't even the right word. hes scared so he leaves, hes not doing it right and his wife must be upset about it, that must be why everythings crumbling. and Cleo, not giving two shits, because that's her husband and by god they're gonna make it work if he can realize that being absent is whats breaking up their marriage, not showing affection and intimacy differently.

Gem/Etho, as a canadian i am legally obligated to ship this, as a lesbian i love it when men have chaotic gremlin girlfriends who put them in their place. see that one episode of hermicraft wherein Gem beats his ass on repeat and he keeps coming back for more. its like, like theres an unspoken solidarity, 'hey we're the same even though we're not' and they stick with each other. predator/prey dynamic if you go with deer Gem and fox Etho, you also get it with sea monster Gem and fox Etho, except he's the prey and she has the biological advantage instead. also, when paired with the transfemme Etho headcanon we get some yuri which im always down for.

Grian/Etho, this one came to via an Ao3 commenter and i have seen two pieces of fanart for it and like, seven fics. but i still think the dynamic of bird and fox would be fun to work with in writing depending on the bird Grian is hybridized with, especially if Grian is the smaller one. also in limlife??? hello?? Etho, swearing loyalty and promising to be someones sword is not heterosexual behaviour. what they had in limlife, even if brief, had me shaking i'll be real. also, for their hermitcraft dynamic, it'd be hot if i threw Scar into the mix, for flavour.

Pearl/Etho/Tango, consensual workplace relationships make me absolutely insane, it could tear apart their business or bring it further together. they have the kind of dynamic that makes my head absolutely fucking empty, one of those 'i just think theyre neat' kind of ships. the culture clash between each of their species and their own personal tastes, Tango's a blaze and they mate for life, Pearl's a siren and they don't do much for romance, Etho's a fox and they come and go- but they make it happen in spite of that. im working on getting them a canonized Ao3 tag right now, they have such a fun dynamic. also, they fucked in that post office when no one was looking.

tbh these are all really closely tied, and i also have a soft spot for tangtho and the team ties poly. they're all really fun ships, i just really enjoy polyships to be real with ya'll. and the life series and hermitcraft are full of so many possible polyships that its just making me foam at the fucking mouth. sorry boat boys enjoyers, the vision has not yet engulfed me, but hey im a multishipper it might be yet to happen.

Ok time for some rambling because I don't do enough of it.

Gundam Requiem for Vengeance wasn't the best tbh but the mobile suit fight scenes were really neat. I appreciated how nice the GM looked, esp with the sorta flippy down visor. The main gundam was terrifying to an extent, and the zaku designs kind of grew on me. Although I was biased towards the gouf customs, those were really great to see.

Next up, back to transformers one again (gee I wonder why I can't stop talking about it) LIKE D16 to MEGATRONS journey is do, gosh it's so beautiful and tragic. Granted, he kind of held to some fascist ideals but it's so interesting how you see his inner conflict through his body language. How he takes that pain so personally, and unleashes it in a violent flurry of words and physicality. It's so beautiful I love the heartbreak in Optimus' eyes realizing what must be done, I LOVE HOW THE FILMMADE ME HATE THEM HURTING ONE ANOTHER LIKE. Yeah. Transformers One is so good. I can't quite organize the thoughts but hhhhhhhh it's so good

Ok then some Inside Out, nothing long really. I might hate Disney but I do appreciate how the team that worked on the film has all these different designs for the new emotions, some I like more than others (ennui and anxiety mostly but I love my original gang). There's quite a lot of texture and lighting into them, carrying over that soft fuzzy look. Ah right, and then the myriad of ship pairings. It's really lovely to see the fans so hard at putting out their aus, designs and ideas. I'm strangely fine with all the pairings like?? They make sense and they're cute and all that. Been personally drawn to nervenoodle a lot because they both look good together, and potential for interactions. Hence my headcanons but still, sometimes I just don't need to justify to ship something non problematic ànyway. Enjoyed the film, my pirated copy wasn't bad so yipee.

Ànd lastly for now, some Luca pondering. Yeah, I'll admit I have ideas for my AU and headcanons that most of the fans won't agree with cough cough poly underdogs cough cough but, it still isn't anything too tacky or problematic really. I'm still most obsessed with it over any other fandom, hence my AU although I'm still writing other stuff into it. Idk, it was such a good movie and I'm excited for potential in its future.

Shanks — as of rn i dont influence the story tbh...... we'll have to re-address this in a decade when we get more red-haired pirates and after shanks dies KJHSDFJKHB but for now im just kinda lingering whenever theres rhp moments. my first appearance is the luffy wanted poster scene and i make a lil comment to mihawk (smthn like "always lovely to see you hawk-eyes" yk ambiguous enough), then im in the bg during the bit where rockstar calls shanks, im missing during marineford and then i show up during whitebeard/ace's funeral and im consistently w the red-haired pirates from then on. during the wano bit i finally get another line agreeing w lime juice after he mentions barto, then a passing goodbye to marco. im shown towards the side of the bar scene in elbaf reading a book and then im in the big wide-shot as theyre approaching the red force; the one "big" change is that im the one who hands the info on kidd off to shanks (bc that is Technically my official job as communications officer) and hongo and i have a tiny exchange. oda also talks abt me a bit in an sbs, he says im the only officer who hasnt met luffy and mentions im from a new world island, n says i joined the crew five yrs prior to the present

Kuroo — another one where i have minimal impact on the canon LOL but he and i r coworkers to lovers soooooo i only show up at the very end!!! i think im a recurring character in the final timeskip match chapters, i appear four or five times w the final time being w kuroo's appearance and described as his colleague. maybe later on theres an extra sketch of us grabbing a drink in our work uniforms and it sparks hella shippers

Shanks — honestly the dynamic is varying bc theres just not much content of me or us interacting as of yet, just the tiniest bit of banter and then a very professional back n forth. shanks tends to be portrayed as Down Bad in ships so i think that is accurate, but i do think people generally overemphasize the captain/subordinate thing and a lot of the nuance wrt the nature of my joining the crew is not considered fully until my full backstory is discussed

Kuroo — sjhdfusbfv fuckboy kuroo my beloathed....... but i feel its not That bad. idk our dynamic is soooo Normal obvi its a v subtle ship/only vaguely hinted at so the specifics of our strangers-to-friends-to-lovers slow burn is not known,,,,,, i think generally the dynamic is far faster and not drawn out in fanon. people focus more on the working together, boss/secretary vibe (when i rlly quit my job right as we get together rip) and write us as having a very nuclear family i think.

genshin impact - zhongli/xiao: my love for those two is like. immense. i would love to do a plot where we explore their relationship from the beginning, after zhongli has taken xiao in and the war is still waging on. i headcanon zhongli as more ruthless and cold back then but he would still show a softer side to xiao. <3 - ayato/itto: i won't lie, i mostly want to do nsfw with those two. i think the idea of ayato somehow manipulating itto into being in a friends with benefits type of relationship with him is very fun, but even more so if one of them ends catching feelings down the line.

so im just getting back into the spn fandom (never really joined tbh, i just enjoyed the show) and,, cockles is an actual thing? what??

I mean ... yeah?

Look, I know as soon as I write this, I'm going to have dozens of people saying "It's not real!" and "you're just seeing everything through your Cockles-lens" ... and you know, that's not necessarily untrue.

Cockles is not explicitly "real" in that, Jensen and Misha have not come out and said "We are in a poly-relationship with each other". They have also not claimed to be in any kind of romantic relationship together; but ... at this point, do they really have to?

Back in 2014 when I started really shipping them, there weren't too many Cockles fans out there. Not serious ones anyway, but as the years gone by, more and more have come to believe that there is something beyond friendship between the two. From the shit they've said to how they act, all the touching, the fondness, the thinly veiled implications, the allusions to it on SPN (Siobhan and Kristen) to family and friends alluding to it too ... there is just SO MUCH that points to them being together that a blatant admission would just be a cherry on top. And besides that, one does not need to scream something from the mountain tops just to make it true. There are other ways to know the facts.

And now, with Misha's latest tweet-- confirming that the two of them did "live" together in some sense, a lot of those past implications and statements seem to be a lot more loaded than they already were.

Jensen saying "That's what he sounds like in the morning" and "He shared that with me" (referring to a dream Misha had the night before) and Misha talking about "Waking up in Jensen's bed" and telling multiple stories that imply a level of comfort and domesticity between them ... it all takes on a new light if the two were living together.

So, for someone who has been on this ship a long, long time, yeah ... it's an actual thing. It's been an actual thing. Everything that has come out in the last decade has only made that clearer to me; but for the newbies, the reluctant wave of fresh shippers who "didn't want to ship real people, but then ... Cockles" this latest information lifted the last bit of fog from their view.

Jensen and Misha are together. They are also very much in love with their wives and adore their children with their whole hearts.

Polyamory is not a new concept for Misha, and who knows if it is for Jensen (I have my suspicions it might not be based on that orgy-story from a few years back, but that's neither here nor there) but the two of them are certainly living out the concept now, and seemingly have been for quite some time.

We might never know how long they've been together and they might never feel comfortable enough to come out and say that they are; but actions and some words speak louder than others, and I've had my ears perked and eyes open for a while, so this isn't really news to me.

It's just very nice to know that with every day that passes, I'm proven more and more right.

Jensen and Misha are an actual thing-- a thing that brings me endless joy, and I thank them for that.

Fic Reflection: Rule of Three

↳ This fic was one of the fastest I’ve ever written. From concept inception to post-ready it took days, though I’ve been wanting to write a poly getting-together fic since like the very start of this blog I just hadn’t found a ship that spoke to me enough (almost happened with Dabihawks but I didn’t get my shit together in time)

↳ The first line written was “‘Sei’s being impatient.’”

↳ The last line written was “In fact, he’d come to genuinely enjoy spending time with you, both when Nagi was around and otherwise.”

↳ Reonagi as a ship holds a v special place in my heart bc it’s probably the only thing I really ship in Blue Lock. It’s also a ship where i can definitely say id be interested in dating both parties, and i think they would work well in a triad like depicted

↳ Big fat shoutout to mr @venexus​ who somehow shot me with a reonagi raygun when they wrote their reonagi fic; i blacked out for 12 hours and when i woke up I’d written like 80% of the fic. Also shoutout to them for beta-ing and listening to me scream about the reader getting a mind of their own and becoming a dom

↳ It’s not openly stated in the fic but nagi and reader met through online gaming! Reader’s a bit of an e-thot; when they got together with nagi they weren’t quite popular enough but by the time of the fic they’d quit their job to do it full-time. nagi didn’t meet them through a stream tho they just met on an mmo and hit it off. They got together literally the first time they met irl; they realized they lived rlly close to each other so reader stopped by to meet nagi & hang out one day and he just. Impulsively kissed them while they were gaming together lmfao

↳ In case u couldn’t tell from his narration at the beginning, Reo fell for the reader almost immediately upon meeting them, he just didn’t realize it. The reader knew about it the whole time, both his feelings for them and his feelings for nagi and nagi’s feelings for him. The only reason it took so long for the poly thing to happen was bc reader thought Nagi and Reo were oblivious to the whole situation and it took Nagi broaching the subject for it all to click (if anyone’s interested in how that convo went,,,,,, send in an ask)

↳ Reo definitely tries to sneak away in the morning but reader catches him in the kitchen and they finally have like. A real conversation explaining that yes they rlly do wanna bring him into the relationship and no it’s not just bc they want a third they specifically want him while nagi is asleep in bed and Not trying to make out with the two of them. Hes a fucking menace (I might write this scene too if theres any interest tbh shoot me an ask im truly a sucker for morning after scenes)

↳ Deadass considered learning how to color just for this fic’s banner ngl….. I had a rlly great mental image of the two hapibas i chose with watercolor-type coloring, rlly simple with just their hair and eyes colored, but that didn’t happen. Would’ve ended up spending more time on the banner than the fic LMFAO

↳ I do imagine this in a universe where the bllk team is a professional team and i think the whole thing is…. Not exactly hush-hush (bc dear god nagi would never be able to keep something like that a secret hes way too impulsive in a “i dont fucking care who sees im tired and i want a kiss right now reo” way) but deffo low-key they dont go announcing it so it just kinda…. ↳ Nagi doesn’t like dates that involve going out and doing things so more often than not reo takes reader out to mikage corporation dinners etc while nagi stays home. He pretends to be exasperated when they do their spitfire routine but tbh he brings them on purpose so theyll make the geriatric executives and bad-touch-happy daddy’s boys uncomfortable…… and when the two of them come back home at like 2 in the morning nagi is always up pouting on the couch cause he couldnt sleep without them and they promised theyd be home three hours ago

My NOTP for them - Not a big fan of Mic/Midnight, I don’t hate it but I just like them as friends/co-conspirators in making Aizawa’s life as obnoxiously loud as possible.

My BROTP for them - I don’t actually have any Mic ships that I just die for so really Erasermic is this for me, but I’ll be talking more about them as an actual ship so ... I’m gonna say Mic and All Might for this, they’re a fun goofy combo that I’d like to see more of.

My OTP for them - If I had to pick one for Mic it would definitely be Erasermic, I don’t ship them too hard but there’s a ton of quality content out there for them, so I appreciate them.

(( Okay, but first I gotta start with... I still don’t know wtf LiveJournal is. I, uh. I’m not an internet-savvy person, unfortunately (I’m *still* trying to figure out what xkit is and why it’s so important to tumblr, so I usually just smile and nod when it’s brought up lol). I can’t even figure out how to work twitter or facebook. The fact that I learned how to tumblr is a miracle.

And next: A lot of these questions are really heavily dependent on the situation I’m in, unfortunately! So some may not have very clear answers. I’m going to put this ENTIRE thing under the cut - for several reasons. One, it’s long. And two, there’s some sensitive material that’s either triggering [allusions to sexual assault and manipulative behavior ], or NSFW.

So without further ado - here’s all of the answers to the questions for the “Romance and Friendship Ship Asks”!

1. When you RP a ship do you prefer to make everything be smooth sailing all the time or do you allow conflicts to arise?

I don’t mind either way, so long as my RP partner… y’know, talks with me. I’m reminded of an instance in the past where my RP partner wanted conflict, but took it to a whole other extreme to the point where it physically hurt to RP through. One of my characters, in a serious relationship with theirs; ended up kidnapped, drugged, and assaulted - resulting in the assailant getting pregnant. Now, when my character comes to - only semi-aware of what happened to them; absolutely distraught and hurting once they learned the truth; my partner’s character comes in and berates them for cheating, being unfaithful, not trying hard enough - essentially victim blaming. If I had been warned of this, I would not have agreed to playing this situation out. With adequate warning, however, I’m usually fairly open to anything. So, yes. It really does depend. I would prefer smooth sailing, and with warning, am very okay with conflict in a ship.

2. Do you like to RP smut when you RP a ship?

This one’s doozy lol. The base answer is, I do! I find the smut scenes to be very big character building situations - giving more detailed information on what a character is like in an intimate situation; what quirks they have, and whatnot. Sometimes it’s story building too - and I’m all about that story and character building. BUT. I will not. My IRL spouse is not comfortable with me doing so, and I respect that. So I will not ERP as long as they remain uncomfortable with it.

3. Do you like to plan a ship out or just let it happen?

Usually, all of the ships I have just… happen. Nothing’s quite planned except “what character would interact well with this one” - not with the explicit purpose of shipping (romantically), but more of seeing what kind of interactions can blossom. However, I’m not opposed to planning, if that’s what’s more comfortable with my RP partner.

4. Do you prefer monogamous or poly ships?

I, personally, have no preference. So long as the poly relationship is played out properly (i.e. the people who use being poly as an excuse to cheat/be unfaithful to their partner(s)). I don’t excuse people giving us poly folks a bad name. So I have no preference… but my characters do! Each preference is listed in their profile, whether or not they are monogamous or polyamorous / what their sexual and romantic orientations are. (tbh tho, all of them are negotiable)

5. Are there any characters that you want a ship for?

Ha ha. Yes. Quite a few, actually. (If not all of them, for shipping in a general sense.)

6. Do you like friend-with-benefits ships?

With warning ahead of time, yes. Whether IC or OOC - OOC is preferable, because some of my characters’ personalities make them very easily attached to others. The best example is Danny, with what some of the more recent ask answers show. And I want to make sure that the character is good for the situation. Though I do have a couple characters that would prefer to keep it at the “friends-with-benefits” stage, and if that’s a character or plot I want to play, I would ask my RP partner about it first.

7. Have you ever regretted a ship, romantic or otherwise?

Mmm… I want to say yes. I really do. Even the ones that screwed me over, though, part of me can’t help but cherish them in some strange way. Each one of them has been an experience for me and my character. But. I think… there is one yes in there. ...Maybe a couple, but all of those ships were with the same RP partner. At the time, though, those ships were my lifeblood - upon reflection… they were all pretty yikes. And I’ve got another friend as my witness lol.

8. Do you like to be friends with the people you have ships with?

I have to be friends with the people I ship with. I can do walk up RP with strangers, get to events and all that - but if someone is wanting a romantic ship with me, I need to know them as a person, not as their character. And I need them to know me as a person, too; that I’m not my character(s). Honestly, I prefer to be friends with all of my RP partners anyways! Ship or no! I like learning about people as they are, not just as their character(s) are.

9. What do you look for in a writing partner for ships?

Just… I guess, a decent person? That’s very vague, and that’s because it’s true. I want someone that understands that life gets in the way a lot, and that I might have to pause a thread or two until I can get myself situated. RP does not come before real life, and I want my partners to understand that as much as I do. I will drop threads with people who show toxic behaviors - not without talking to them first, of course, but if it blows up, then I’m done. I can’t put myself in a situation like that again.

10. Do you think romantic ships should be long-term?

Mm. This is another tough one. Which I think coincides a lot with the next question as well. If my partner wants a romantic ship to end, then as long as they talk about it with me, I’m totally fine with it - a day, two, a month, years? I don’t mind as long as I have warning, and things are talked through first. I’ll cover the rest of my thoughts on this in the next question.

11. How do you handle an absent RP partner that you have a ship with?

First, I’d be incredibly worried! I do have some friendships that disappear for a few months, then come back, and I don’t mind those at all. But if I make a new friend, and I don’t know if they’re prone to that, then I’d be worried about their safety! I’ll reach out first, as many times as I need to. I want to make sure that my friend is safe and in a good place. If they respond with “I’m alive, just stuff going on”, the ship won’t be dropped. I won’t drop ships due to absence, not right away - unless otherwise told to by my RP partner (maybe because they know they won’t be around, or they’re quitting the game, etc). If my RP partner is absent for a minimum of three to six months or longer *without* any sort of contact, I will tell them that there will be a pause on our ship and there’s a possibility of the character finding another… but also that if their life allows it, and they’re keen on it, I will pick up the ship again in the future. tl;dr: I want to make sure that my RP partner is in a safe place before I make any comments to dropping a ship.

12. How often do you think people should RP when they have ships together?

As often as it is comfortable for everyone involved. Whether that’s everyday, once a week, or twice a month. I, personally, have no issues with time. If RP isn’t being done, then I’m memeing or asking questions or putting terrible ideas into my RP partners’ heads.

13. Do you RP out all interactions or do you assume some things happen ‘off-screen’ with your ships?

Assumption, always. Even if we don’t play out those interactions, we’ll talk about them. “So it’s likely that [x] has happened during [x] time since [RP session]”. RPing out all interactions would take up a lot of time, and lead to a lot of disappointment - especially if you equate “one day irl = one day in RP”.

14. Is there anyone you know that you want to have an RP ship with (romantic, friendship, hateship, rival, ect.)?

My only answer to this is: yes, absolutely. My only clarification is: all of my wonderful followers - you all have such amazing characters, how could I not want a ship (in the general sense)?

15. What’s the most important thing you’ve learned when it comes to RPing ships?

The most important thing I’ve learned… happens to be two things. 1) Communication is your greatest tool. Not communicating with your RP partner about anything will cause everyone grief. If something makes you uncomfortable, if there’s a thread you want to try, if there’s a thread you want to drop - you need, need, NEED to talk to your RP partner. and 2) Your RP partner is a person, just like you. You cannot expect them to shit out a thread on command; nor can you expect them to write when there’s stress going on in their life. Your RP partner is your friend, and you should treat them as such. If the going is tough, make sure they know that they aren’t pressured into writing, and that you’re there for support. If there’s stress in your life, it’s on you to warn your partner - and trust that they treat you like a person too.

SO we have two ways that the Parisian Super Squad meets the Batfam. 

The first, which I’m only writing down because I cannot forget about it, and its hilarious is: the Super Squad gets to Gotham, gets Mari’s texts, gets to their hotel room, throws their stuff in, transforms, and starts running around looking for her. They find her walking around the fashion district with the Wayne’s. Adrien, as Chat Noir, spies Marinette first. And, in typical fashion, acts first and thinks later. 

So basically the Wayne’s watch a young, blonde, male version of catwoman throw an incredibly expandable baton between them and Mari, jump down, pick her up. Say “Bonjour. Au revoir.” And then make his expandable baton extend again and carry the now screeching Marinette to the top of the building where the rest of the Super Squad is waiting. Luka is going to strangle him. Holy shit. Chat Noir? More like Chat NO-ir!

The Batfam, of course, suits up and starts chasing after them. In full daylight. (These are the perfect opportunity for “Only in Gotham tweets” tbh) They catch up to Marinette berating all of them in incredibly loud and frantic French. As Multimouse. Going on about how irresponsible it was to leave Paris unprotected! Yes she knows Hawkmoth was defeated but it is the principle of the matter!! And they left BEFORE she told them about what happened with her bio!family and Batman! ALSO THEY KIDNAPPED HER IN BROAD ASS FUCKING DAYLIGHT IT DOESN’T MATTER IF THIS IS GOTHAM YOU SHUT YOUR TRAP CHAT! 

The whole squad looks so defeated but then Mari starts crying and throws herself into Chat’s arms going on about how good it is to see them and she’s so happy they’re here and they’re so so stupid! And then its a hug pile. Big hug pile. The Batfam looks on in utter confusion bc, again, only like. Two of them know French. Then Batman coughs and they all look up and just. Don’t move. Maybe if they don’t move he won’t see them.

So Batman and the Robins take Marinette back to Wayne Manor and Alfred clings to her (like he totally didn’t put everything together already they’re all so obvious). And then the Batfam, minus costume, comes barreling down the stairs and they all tackle Marinette and its another hug pile. Bc holy shit Mari why did you get kidnapped by your so called friends? Oh, they’re stupid? Can relate. 

And then. Of course. Guess who shows up at the door. Just peeks their heads in, detransformed of course. “Uh, hi? We’re friends of Marinette? We’re here to visit her?” 

Bruce is shrieking like WHY. WHY IS THIS SHIT GENETIC?! Internally. Can’t spill the beans QUITE yet. 

Anyway, INTRODUCTIONS GALOR, YADA YADA, Dick and Adrien get along so well. Too well. Kagami and Damien also get along well too (they’re both ready to stab a bitch, don’t test them). Luka is too chill NOT to get along with anyone, unless they insult his friends and partners. Chloe is ready to throw down but also holy shit that’s Bruce fucking Wayne? Damn, Mari. DAMN. Already on social media about this. 

(Also listen, I am shipping trash so I’m going to be vague as hell with things but in my brain this will be a poly!partners au so the Super Squad is just dating each other. But for the sake of everyone they could also just be really good/close friends, as they’ll be sharing rooms and be very touchy feeling and such. Its up to you. But just know, I’m just. Like this.) 

So it basically just devolves into story sharing and puppy piles and the Wayne’s all looking at the Super Squad with side eyes bc HM. HOW FAMILY. ALSO STOP TOUCHING THE BABY! NO CORRUPTING THE BABY!! THAT’S OURS!!!

And of course. The whole squad follows Marinette out as Multimouse to go meet batman, who Bruce told her had something to talk with her about. And she kinda cries bc SHE’S GOING TO GET KICKED OUT OF THE CITY BC OF HER IDIOTS!

Its not, its the Batfam taking the Super Squad to the Justice League tower. They weren’t expecting so many people but its fine. They’ll make it work. 

Because Bruce had called the Justice League for an emergency meeting that night with the tone of voice that clearly said anybody who didn’t show up would have a bat hunting them down and shoving his foot up their ass so far they’ll taste patented leather for the rest of their life. They’ve almost never seen him so angry? And he’s bringing guests? What? The fuck?? 

Multimouse Marinette gets briefed that, as the current Guardian of the Miraculous, and a hero of Paris, she’ll be there to get a formal apology and an explanation about why a bunch of teenagers had to fight an emotionally manipulative super villain by themselves. Chat Noir is maybe hiding behind the rest of the Miraculous Crew and they’re only kinda notice but don’t think much of it tbh. Adrien does NOT want to be the one to explain that his FATHER was said super villain. save him. 

Btw the whole group is having mixed reactions to the idea of meeting the Justice League. Adrien wants to run away but he also doesn’t care? Like. They’re all superhero’s, he gets that they can’t always help, but also. Fuck. He loves being a superhero but having someone with actual experience might have saved them all a lot of heartache. Chloe, meanwhile, doesn’t give a sINGLE SHIT about the JL. Fuck them. Fuck them so hard, so assholes ignored them and they’re going to be high and mighty. She may be a better person now but she will not put up with their nonsense. Not now. Not ever. Fight her. Luka is that sort of calm angry? He’s pissed that they brushed them off but since everything’s over there’s no point in holding onto his anger. There may or may not be a lot of meditating in the Bat Plane on the way there so he doesn’t use his lyre like a fucking BOOMERANG AGAIN and smack them all upside the head with it. Kagami doesn’t care? She’ll threaten them to the ends of the earth should they ever blow off such messages again, but she also just. Has very little emotional investment in them otherwise. 

Marinette, of course, is freaking out and pacing and trying to channel her inner ladybug and screaming internally bc why. WHY. She’s angry but she also understands, but she’s still so stressed. just. please. Tiny squeaks. 

And okay, they get there, and Batman comes in with ALL the Robins AND all these new kids? 

Flash: I’m sorry, you called an emergency meeting because of your extended family? 

Diana: HUSH

Because Diana, of course, recognizes them what and who they are. And is screaming bc holy shit? The Miraculous Holders are active again? Do they need their help? Where is Ladybug? Who is the Guardian? She just has. so. many. questions. 

And Captain Marvel/Shazam (seriously wtf IS HIS NAME) is fangirling HARD. Because that’s the Miraculous Holders! The ORIGINAL magic users! SEVERAL of his people (Hercules/etc) were Miraculous holders on top of Shazam and HOOOLLLY SHIT THEY’RE HERE! IN FRONT OF HIM! HOLY SHIT!!!

Superman, Green Arrow, and several others are sweating bc uh. UH. OH SHIT THOSE MESSAGES WERE REAL?

Yes. They were real. And now they have Batman in full dad mode demanding an explanation. Several people (Superman, other mutation/alien esc powers) claim they went to Paris to check on the damage but they couldn’t find any, OR the supposed supers of villain. 

Multimouse steps forward and starts explains how the Ladybug powers work and if they had bothered to contact them beyond telling them this wasn’t a line of communication to be used for PRANKS, they would know better. Diana chimes in with how she was helped created BY the Ladybug miraculous, etc, why did nobody ask her about this? Hell, why did nobody ask their resident magic user, Captain Marvel/Shazam??? 

Green Lantern: No offense, but doesn’t this all seem a little far fetched? 

Chloe: ... Bitch, you have an alien ring that gives you powers. Shut the fuck up. 

So there’s some arguing, back and forth, and Bruce looses his temper a little bit. Smacks his hand HARD on the table. “Enough. It is your job to investigate. It is not your job to leave the saving of an entire city to my fucking daughter, who was barely thirteen at the time this all started. As far as I’m concerned, this can never, ever, happen again. Wonder Woman, Captain, I assume you’d be willing to go through our notifications for any discrepancies?” 

And there’s a huge moment of silence. Everyone’s staring at him. Multimouse squeaks. Red Hood just. “Good going, Bats. Real smooth.” 

Chat: OH MY GOD YOUR DAD IS BATMAN? WHY DIDN’T YOU SAY ANYTHING, WHY- HOOOOO OH MY GOD YOUR DAD! BATMAN! IS DAD! YOUR DAD WHO IS ALSO-!

Viperion is making wheezing noises and covers Chat’s mouth and then there’s even more yelling and arguing and finger pointing, and Bruce wants a drink. And a nap. In whatever order he can get them. 

Basically he gets Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel/Shazam to agree to looking through messages but also gets the hell out of dodge. 

Next in, the reactions to all this tomfoolery. Also apparently superhero-ism is now genetic.
