Personal update & Doll Stuff

This week has been a wild ride and not one I'm proud of to be honest. In short: work drained me so hard I was so stressed I can barely remember what happened during work in the days I was there, I had my lunch break cut short on 3 of the 4 days I worked, one day was a 10+ hour day and phew... it was not fun at all. Then there was the issue none of my creative projects I tried my hands on worked in favor for me, everything failed. hard.

But I had a vacation day on friday and had scheduled an appointment for the next tattoo (pic on the top) but the artist came back to me on wednesday and had ditched my own sketch for a copy of a manga panel and it greatly helped for my mental health to spiral down into hell. I know a bunch of people got concerned about me, and that with a reason, I am unharmed, I just... rant a lot to fight the nasty voices.

In the end I was pissed, he was pissed but he had to correct the shit he had done to get close to my sketch again. But he had the audacity to tell me I should bring a sketch next time for him to use .... and that's all what I want to tell about this adventure. I got my tattoo, it went fast, seems to heal good so far, arm doesn't hurt.

Since yesterday my creativity is gladly back and I came up with like 20 solutions for the 10 problems I had. Hah.

Took some photos, continued with Cosplay progress and drew a bit.

And I bought a new head, or let's say the dear @izasbjdphoto told me she wanted to get the new Impdoll body but disliked the head and I noticed today, as I made sketches, that the head would fit my plans of making a Level 4 Akuma into a doll aaaaand she gladly let me have it <3 yay. Still need to figure out how to make a Level 3, that might be a sculpture again.

Also I am super hyped for the Bookfair, to see my friends again and hop into Cosplay. @adragonstale agreed to take photos of me (aka I will throw my camera at him and he is allowed to take pics whenever he likes) and I will stay at a friend's place from the wednesday before the fair ... this time without needing to go back to work, full 4 days.

I'm slowly working throught he drawing for my cosplay line up but somehow... even though I didn't have that much to do today the time slipped through my fingers.

I really hope to get to writing a hobby related blog entry again soon, but I took photos of 4 dolls this weekend, sorted stuff into the queue, into photobooks and all that... it's enough.

For next week I have a small project to finish during my lunch breaks (just some buttons and straps to be added) and I have sewing planned for the next weekend. I hope to get to cutting parts during the week that would help but it's okay if I don't get to it, I know we will be understaffed and .. yeah.

Hello! First of all, yay, welcome back, and thank you so much for all of your kind words!

I know that there were a ton of rumors this was going to be their last album and they were going to call it quits after this, but having heard the album and watched them promote it and then seeing this tour they're putting on...it seems so unlikely to me???? They just don't act like a band who's done, who doesn't have anything more to say. Like, when Patrick talks about Fall Out Boy he's so very clear that it's, like, necessary for him to have, that it's the art and creativity that he does because of how much he loves it, not a job, and it would seem weird for him to talk that way, so vocally, if there was any inkling in his head that this would be the last time he would have it, you know?

And Pete has been the less vocal one this cycle, and we know he was the one who was reluctant to do another album and undertake another tour, but he has seldom seen so genuinely happy as he has during this tour, he seems to be loving every second of it.

And Joe came back and also seems delighted to be back.

Idk, I do not get the feeling of a band with any intention of winding down. They feel completely reinvigorated and reinspired and ready to go. It would not at all surprise me if they're already writing the next one, we know Patrick and Pete like to write while on tour. And I think they've really enjoyed being out of contract and having total control back, I really think it has opened up the horizons of what they want to and can do. Plus their fanbase has turned out for them loyally and so I don't think they are getting any kind of message that they're not wanted or needed anymore.

So Idk, I think in my heart of hearts there will be another album and another tour eventually someday.

All of that said, there will probably be people who will disagree with this life advice, and please always do what's best for you and your financial situation and life situation, but also: life is short, and uncertain. I didn't get into Fall Out Boy until the Mania tour was just wrapping up, and they announced they were going to play a random festival in Cincinnati and I agonized over going and finally decided to do it and I have to be frank, that weekend in Cincinnati was one of the best weekends of my life, I think about all the time how wonderful it was, the show was incredible, and it was the last concert I saw before the pandemic hit and I spent all of that time just being so incredibly grateful that I'd gone to that Cincinnati concert because otherwise I would have regretted it forever.

If you are in the incredibly lucky and privileged position to be able to afford to do something that you really want to do, and doing so will not bankrupt you or send you into a debt crisis or harm previous commitments you need to keep or, etc., etc., like, if the only argument you can come up with against doing something is "Idk, would this be ridiculous????," Idk, I think I'd err on the side of doing the thing. That's not just advice for Fall Out Boy concerts. You get to do this life thing once, and it goes by so much faster than you can possibly anticipate. If something's going to bring you joy, that's pretty precious. Take it where you can get it.

All of the inverts take care of themselves most of the time, other than making sure they have enough food and water; And we've almost always had cats and dogs so it would be more of a chore to not take care of them! The chickens are the ones that feel out of the way in my daily life, but they are great, so I don't mind!

Most people think the feeling of someone watching them is unsettling; but when I know it's just you, it's so nice and cozy!

You enjoy such a variety of games! Doll also love loves pixel art, so pretty! I've always been interested in Stardew Valley because of the graphics, I'm honestly happy I haven't gotten it already after hearing about Fields of Mistria!!! It looks so pretty! Doll wouldn't be able to keep up playing so many different games at once, how does Bon do it!!! That issue with steam sounds so annoying,,, I used to share a Spotify account with a friend and it'd do the same!!! Ooo, I've watched see my brothers play red dead redemption 2 before, usually I don't like games like that but I've actually been quite interested in it, I may give red dead 2 a try one day! Doll would probably accidentally abuse their horse too, Doll doesn't game much so wouldn't be used to the controls (╥﹏╥)

Recently ive played Minecraft, Sims 4, fallguys, and a few games on roblox if I play with friends,,, but I also a few on my list to play once I get a computer, which should hopefully be soon ^^ league of legends, stardew valley, and now Fields of Mistria, sweet pool, slow damage, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some-

Stardew Valley is definitely worth a try, even if you get Fields of Mistria. It has a lot more content, and if you get it on PC, there are tons of mods that you can use to add even more content and make it look the way you want it to! As for me playing so many games, I have a lot of free time on my hands. I don't have much else to do... most of my time is just spent waiting for someone to come talk to me. Everyone else is busy with their own things, so I gotta kill time somehow while waiting for them. I find RDR2 interesting so far; it's definitely not something I'd usually play either. Someone I know seems to really like it, and I also used to watch my brothers play, so I decided to finally pick it up. Ehehe, I'm sure you'd get the hang of it eventually!! The controls are pretty confusing, though..

Ah, I've played all of those before! What do you enjoy doing in Minecraft and the Sims? What games do you like playing on Roblox? I hope that you're able to get a computer soon to play all the games that you want to play!! I've heard of LoL but never played it myself. You'll have to let me know if it's fun. I only know of Slow Damage after looking through your blog, but not what it's about. I've never heard of Sweet Pool. What are those two games?

Dear Diary,

I’m tired of putting off my hobbies for whatever reason. Here’s to creating and sharing art without limitations.

I won’t share this blog with anyone I know IRL so that way I won’t feel embarrassed to post or anything. Ya know that’s one thing i hope to change for the coming year. Straight up not giving a fuck about what others think so I can live my life in peace.

And by that I mean a healthy lack of fucks not being given. Like how eventually I’m going to have to stand up to my parents. I would consider myself a person who values harmony and balance and the inevitable conflict makes me feel uncomfortable. I cannot fulfill all their expectations and simultaneously live authentically.

It’s one of those things I’ve been dealing with my whole life though. Sure I’ve gotten better at being more assertive with others in my life but doing that with my parents…. It’s like the final boss of fixing this flaw. I love them and I know they won’t be in this life forever. I guess I’m at an age where you really start to realize how short life is. I’m not *that* old tho haha

It’s just that my mom sent me a selfie and I saw wrinkles on her face that weren’t there before. I’m crying typing this but I really needed to get this off my chest. She has chronic Lyme disease and arthritis and other heath issues so…. Ahhh I just have to enjoy the time I have with her.

Ok happy stuff now. Im visiting everyone for Christmas break yay. Ok I know I said happy stuff but the thing I’m not admitting about going home is that I’m afraid of running into my ex even tho it’s highly unlikely. Im more likely to run into one of his parents…. Which would also be undesirable and gut wrenching. If I’m being honest I don’t want to be in the same place I shared a lot of memories with that part of my life.

It’s probably for the best that I confront my issues rather than run away from them. Haha reminds me of that meme “men will do anything but go to therapy”

“Animal crackers, I think we can do that,” Andy agrees with a smile, rising from his chair and going back to check the snack cabinet behind the island. “And look, we even have a brand new box,” he adds cheerfully, grabbing the bottle of hand sanitizer from the counter as he returns to the table to sit next to you.

“Here sweetheart, gotta make sure our hands are nice and clean before we eat,” Andy tells you, opening up the clear cap of the liquid as he speaks. Not thinking twice, you hold out your hands, but are soon met with a painful sting as the burning gel sinks into the fresh papercuts scattered across your palms.

The moment your expression drops, Andy sees it. “Honey?” he asks, at first not realizing what’s happened. But as soon as he sees the big tears welling up in your eyes, along with your hands still held out in front of you that’ve now begun to shake, he fits the pieces together, instantly swooping in to comfort you.

“Oh sweetheart, I’m sorry. Come here,” he coos, taking you by the shoulders and pulling you onto his lap. A large lump sits in your throat, tears now beginning to trail down your cheeks as quiet whimpers rise through your chest. “Here,” Andy soothes, taking his sleeve and wiping off the remaining gel from your hands, causing you to grimace at even the gentlest contact. “I’m sorry, baby,” he says again. “I didn’t know your hands were so cut up. That must sting, huh?”

“Stings really bad,” you tell him, your bottom lip wobbling as he rubs your back gently.

“I know, sweet girl. Daddy’s sorry. How about this, let’s go wash out the sanitizer in the sink, okay? Then you and I can go find some pretty teddy bear bandaids. How does that sound?”

FE Liveblog Updates

Hey hey! It’s been a little while since I last did any live blogging — and maybe you care, maybe you don’t — but as I have… a lot of potential live-blogging to do, I wanted to give some updates, notices, and minor thoughts. So if you’ve been following along with any of them, here’s where you’ll get your info. Yay!

‣ Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia:

Hmmm… what is there to say about this one? I need to continue it, first of all. It should hopefully be picking up sooner rather than later, finishing off Act 2 in Celica’s path, and then presumably switching back to Alm. I don’t have too much to worry about here, just making sure that I’m getting a healthy dose of support conversations! If I don’t by the end, I may just play again and see what else I can gather. Otherwise… I’m considering a more stack-em-up style to my posting like the other playthroughs, just so it’s less of a spammy feeling. If you have any opinions, please do let me know!

‣ Fire Emblem Engage:

Yep yep, I’ve already got a liveblog of this one set up! As I write this post, I have just beaten Chapter 3, so you will soon be able to find the liveblog under #koto plays engage , and avoid spoilers with #Fire Emblem Engage Spoilers. I’m very excited to share my thoughts so far, so it should be super fun to share! I don’t know when exactly I’ll get that set up, but probably towards the tail end of the next liveblog I’ll be talking about…

‣ Fire Emblem Three Houses: Crimson Flower: I think, with my desire to introduce an Engage liveblog, continue the Echoes one, and someday continue this one… I might get back to this one sooner than I anticipated? I’m still somewhat iffy on this one, just because… well, in the event that you’re new here, let’s just say that CF as a route is just very much not for me. That’s not to say that I look down on or would chide anyone who enjoys it — my rule is, forever and always, as long as you’re kind I don’t mind — but it’s just not the most positive playthrough. So while I’m leaning more towards yes to going back to it, I want to make sure that it’ll be an okay experience for everyone involved.

The good news is, I have newly set up some measures to keep all of the critical stuff contained where you want it. Firstly, I have a new tag I’ll be using to tag posts with the super critical stuff (#Fódlan Fault Finding) and of course I still have the tag meant for criticism in relation to EdeIgard’s character writing in the route (#Shut up about Del). I also have a series of emblems I’m going to be using, to mark each section of the post based on how critical it is. So for example, if you only want to read the positive stuff, you’ll look for a flower with both black and white on each petal, like this: ❃ There’s about four total, ranging from positive, neutral, joking criticism, and hard criticism. That way, you can pick what you like, and go from there!

Otherwise, I think I have about 12 posts already (some of them are leftovers I missed before I stopped before) built in a Google Doc just so I had time to organize my thoughts and review them for sharpness. I’m considering posting them twice a week just to get things moving along so I don’t have a gazillion playthroughs ongoing, but let me know if you have any good ideas! I could even intersperse the posts with live blogs of the other games just to keep things cheery, if that’s preferable.

‣ Fire Emblem Three Houses: Azure Moon & Silver Snow:

These ones, I am… stumped on. I’d like to chronicle them as well, I find live-blogging a super fun endeavour (even if I realize the live-blogs mostly entertain me instead of all of you), but again that’s something to run at the same time as all the other liveblogs. I could wait until Echoes concludes, I could just pick Azure Moon up once CF concludes, or I could intersperse playthroughs with CF and AM to balance out negativity like I just mentioned. It’s hard to know exactly what to do, and even in posting AM, I’m wondering if I should just post SS at the same time… I think probably not, as that would get really confusing, but it’s also the nature of just not having so many on the go. So… yeah, I dunno! Just like for the others, thoughts are welcome.

Anyway, let’s give it a whirl.

First off. England has multiple leagues, think of the MLS system in that way, with multiple levels in which teams can play. The top league is the WSL (Women’s super league), the second league is the women’s championship. Technically there are another 3 leagues but let’s focus on the top 2 (or well, just the WSL). 

The WSL currently has 12 teams, the top teams are Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester city and Manchester united (this is where your Uswnt favorite will probably land if they want to play in the WSL but we might see some other NWSL players in the lower table teams). In a normal season every team plays every other team twice. 

Now the special part about the WSL is that there is not just one competition. There is the regular competition with the 12 teams which is called the BARCLAYS FA WSL. We also have the FA cup and the continental cup, i won’t go into much detail but a general rule you can follow is that in both the FA Cup and the continental cup teams from the lower leagues compete as well (so you can end up having Chelsea play a club from the 3rd league). 

So in total there are 3 trophies to win, so yay. 

Aside from the 3 domestic competitions there is also the women’s champions league. Now this is where it gets fun. In England the top 2 teams in the league standings (Chelsea and Man city for next season) qualify for the champions league. They play the top teams from the other participating countries in Europe. If you want to get into it soon you can go and watch the remaining 8 teams battle for the title between the 21st of august and the 30th of august. 

If you want to watch and are not from the UK you can watch on the FA player, every game will be live on the FA player. The only thing you need to do is sign up, it’s completely free but you do need an account to watch. You can also watch the matches back if you want to. Now one thing that will give you all kinds of nostalgic feelings is the god awful commentary. It’s the NWSL all over again (but with a British accent). 

Special note from me. If you’re a new WSL watcher coming from the NWSL please, please be nice. It’s not okay to bash the league because you think the NWSL is better (discussions are of course fine, just don’t hate). It’s also fine to stan your US players but please look around as well. The WSL is bursting with international talent that deserves recognition and it’s bad enough we will have to deal with the commentators getting boners over the US players. 

Accounts i can recommend for first time WSL viewers or if you suddenly find yourself dealing with confusing stan feelings about specific players. (keep in mind that i’m an Arsenal stan so this list is 100% biased, feel free to add useful blogs).

oh absolutely there is a fight-or-flight instinct associated with being removed from the safety of the car and placed under the harsh fluorescent light of the fast food restaurant. but no one in the restaurant actually cares because 95% of them are doing the exact same thing as you and the other 5% see it all day every day anyway because that’s the nature of a freeway rest stop town but you still somehow feel a little bit like someone’s going to challenge you for being there in such disarray. Hello! I have watched the show for 15 years since the very first episode aired on WB and I was hooked. I was always a Dean Girl until Cas' entrance, and he has meant so much to me over the years because I see a lot of myself in Cas (strict religious upbringing, ace/demisexual, had to learn how to let myself express emotions). I have lurked near-daily for years and I want to thank you for your lovely blog! It has helped me through some tough times to have posts to look forward to. (1 of 2)

Me too, usually my shock wears off by by day 3 but I still feel exactly how I did soon as the credits rolled. Can Thursday get here already? I can’t believe we’re 10 days away from the very last episode. Before 15x18, I was dreading the final, not looking forward to saying goodbye. But now? Bring it on Dabb, show me what you’ve got. I think a lot of people have more hope ever than before. 

Heck, I always thought if they were ever going to make Destiel canon (or even address their feelings) it would’ve been Season 8. And you know how that went. So by Season...10? 11? ‘All Hope Is Gone by Slipknot plays in the background’ Is how I felt. 

(1) I can't find it but when the crew (?) said "To his face. Twice!" on Twitter, where do you think the second "I love you." was? I thought this might refer to them watching two takes, but surely they did more than two. I’m not versed in television production so maybe it was just two takes, but I have a feeling they edited out a second “I love you.” You?(2) When Misha said that they told Jensen a couple months before filming, do you think it was before or after his hip surgery in December? (3/4)

I’d have to scrounge around the depths of Tumblr to find it but I swear I saw either @sunforgrace or @mittensmorgul talking about that the other day. Maybe someone else, the fandom is very active now so I can’t keep track haha. 

Ohh it would be sad but if there was going to be a second ILY, I’d think it would be right as Cas gets sucked by the Empty. Just...Dean’s laying there in shock and Cas screams out a final ‘I love you’ as he gets taken away once more, saving the one human who changed his perspective on the world. AWH CRAP I’VE MADE MYSELF SAD.

Uhhh was it before?? I can’t remember, think I saw a post talking about it at some point too. 

(3) When Misha was talking in front of the Bean before his surgery, he said had Tylenol PM and was thinking of his ideal version for Castiel’s final moments on the show and crying. He kept saying he “thinks” he knows where the story's going and that it's really sad. It could have been the love confession, but I think there will be a happy ending that is also a tear-jerker. (3)I hope for Human!Cas in the end and can’t stop thinking about what a flirty drunk he was. :3 Thanks for being great blog!

I hope there’s a happy ending on the way. Killing everyone off...seems odd to me. I really, really hope they get their peace when they are done. I too would love to see Human!Cas. Canon Destiel with Dean talking about his feelings but Cas loses his angel powers? Good enough for me. uGH now I want a domestic scene of them in the bunker just having drinks and having fun. I’m literally counting on Dabb here.

The Stray

(July 3 prompt: love)

Hi everyone! Been a while since I’ve put up original content so here’s hoping y’all are still sticking with me 😬

I’ve had this piece in my head for a while and with the July challenge from @whumpmasinjuly I have successfully pushed my brain to get it into words! As you can see I also came up with a title! Yay me!

So some background for new people and for anyone who read my other 2 pieces in this universe (psst! You can find them on my blog under the tag #chem writes whump) This story is about a female werewolf Whumpee who was captured by humans and whump ensued. This part here is set a long while from then, after she is rescued or escapes, I’m not sure which yet. The female werewolf does not have a name in the other two pieces but now I know her name is Lyra. Cole is a male werewolf in the role of Caretaker. At this point they have made it to a safe facility and can now rest and recuperate from their time on the run.

“She’s fighting the sedative”

Cole sighed and rubbed a hand down his face. “Alright, I’ll try to get her to settle down.”

“Is it safe to go in there? She seems very...”

Cole locked eyes with the nurse “What, dangerous?”

“Agitated” She replied and broke eye contact. She dutifully left him to enter the room alone.

Cole sighed heavily then slid the glass door open and stepped over the threshold.

Lyra is still in her wolf form, all the anxiety building up to the point of not Changing. He recalls how difficult it has been for her to Change even before all the stress of the last few days. The last time she did was so obviously painful that Cole had to Change too just so that she could regain her bearings. Having another wolf with her calmed her immeasurably.

Now of course is entirely different. It’s a new environment, new people, new smells, everything that could change has. Cole is most likely the only thing she’ll recognize as something from her time outside this place. Even though he knows it’s safe here, he can’t help but connect to the nervous energy coming off her in waves.

She’s pacing along the walls of the small room. She’s panting but keeps closing her mouth in an effort to relieve the dryness. The slide of the glass door alerts her to his arrival. She paused her endless loop to eye him briefly but quickly resumed the circuit when her vision began to wane again.

“You’re gonna burn a hole through the ground if you keep pacing like that.” She huffed in reply but otherwise ignored him. She altered her path slightly to not bump into him as she passed the wall with the door. She thought he might reach out and try to physically stop her but he stayed put as she passed.

“I know you’re scared. It’s ok, I won’t let anything happen to you. I won’t let them touch you. You just have to get some sleep.”

She looked at him fully then. Sleep was not something to be trusted. She knew she could trust Cole, he had yet to do anything that threatened her, but the idea of sleeping without protection of some kind terrified her. The times she slept before were times she woke up to unspeakable horrors. Anything could happen when she was unconscious.

He nodded as if he could read her mind. “It’s just sleep, I promise.” He made the motion of an X over his heart and smiled kindly. She remembered that from last time he had made a promise to her. He didn’t break it then either.

She felt her legs shaking under her and, realizing she had stopped her pacing, moved to keep it up. She shook her head forcefully as black spots comprised her sight.

“They gave you a lot of sedative, as much as you could handle actually, we’re all very shocked that you haven’t collapsed yet.” His tone changed to teasing with his next words. “Well everyone else is, I always knew you were too stubborn for your own good.” He smiled faintly. She felt her human’s amusement at his light jab. It was warm in her chest. She glanced over at him. He hadn’t stopped smiling, this time in encouragement.

“Tell you what, I’ll join you in your nap time. The Moon knows I could use it too.” He moved to the wall on his left and sat down with his back against it. He stretched his legs out straight in front of him. He patted the floor next to him. “Come on, Ly, I’ll protect you.” And that was all she needed to hear for her to give in.

She moved towards him, barely making it before her trembling legs gave out and she dropped to the ground. He was close enough to catch her head and shift her comfortably onto his lap. She thought he would put his hands back at his sides, or cross them over his chest like he did when she watched him sleep against the tree last time. But then she felt his palm run over her head in a steady and calming gesture. She tensed on the first couple of motions, but soon relaxed at the continuous movement over her short fur. It was oddly settling having someone touch her in kindness. She had almost forgotten that it was possible.

When his fingers bumped her ear she jumped, but not in fear. That had felt really good and she was surprised. Her ears were one of the most sensitive areas and this desire for more of his touch there was foreign.

Cole chuckled as he observed her reaction “Thought you might like that.” He focused his ministrations on the back of her ear and her entire body went lax, her eyelids began to grow heavy, head too heavy to move, limbs relaxing at her side. She looked up at him, asking for one final reassurance that he would take care of her.

He smiled softly. “It’s alright, Ly, I won’t leave you. Just rest.”

So she let herself slip into the darkness, comforted in the knowledge that Cole would be her shield while she was gone.

Ok, so I've been away from your tumblr for a few days and boy a lot has happened since then. I'll try to catch up but fair warning, Klaroline rants & fangirling coming your way. :) On Caroline in a love triangle with Elijah & Klaus. Yes, for smut purposes. Yes, but if she ends up with Klaus and it's not canon (otherwise it all screams Elena and the Salvatores and Caroline deserves so much better than doing what Elena did first). Also, thank you very much for the update for the Wolf 2.

p.2: Of course that chapter didn't really magically fix everything but it was still great! I really liked how you compared and contrasted the different ways Klaus and Elijah grieved. My heart goes out to Klaus having to team up with Dahlia to bring Caroline back. I'm sure he'd do anything for her but still... I can't wait to see where you take this and how it all plays out. I do have faith in your process and that it'll end up with a happy KC + Eve (and Elijah & the other Mikaelson siblings) :)

part 3: Now I'm also super curious about that moment where you considered a flip to Elijah. Wait to stoke the anticipation even further. On a separate note, however, thank you very much for letting us know that you won't be posting the updates here! I don't like it since that's how I found out and have been keeping up with the story but obviously this is your choice and you have your reasons for it. I'm just grateful that you announced it, so that I can prepare for it. Thank you so much! :) <3

part 4: I'm shocked people suggest that you space out your updates? I only kinda makes sense if you don't want to overwhelm tumblr but even then... I don't know. I'm ALWAYS super eager for updates! You can never update too soon for me. Of course, people, including authors, have lives, so I understand it it takes time to write and update (and sometimes even read) but to have it done and not update because it's too much somehow... I really don't understand the logic. I vote for updates asap!

part 5: ugh that bed sharing take out was so good! Why did you take it out in the first place? Now I wonder what else you're taking away from us on a regular basis? ;) Seriously though, thanks for sharing! Also, idiot--wind is absolutely amazing and deserved all the smut glory's gotten so far and then some. PS: you're pretty great too, hence my verbiage! Five-parts anon! Welcome back! 🤗 How are you? Hope you’re doing well! :)

I love that you approve of Caroline with Klaus and Elijah for smut purposes. 🤣🤣 That is the spirit! Like a billion years ago, I wanted to write an outtake for TW1 where Caroline had a ~DREAM~ featuring Klaus and Elijah at the peak of their bickering because of her, when Elijah and Rebekah had just moved to the compound with her and Klaus. lol I never did get around to writing it, but it remains a fine idea in my head. *SIGH* Honestly, I don’t think Caroline would ever engage in a Salvatore Switch situation. She lived through that drama and had very strong opinions to allow herself to go there. But from a TW perspective, I can say that Caroline has developed a whole new view of Elena’s situation. lol The little she had to go through just trying not to crush Elijah’s heart while holding Klaus’ jealousy back was enough for her to understand that it’s not as easy-peasy to squeeze out of that as she had previously thought.

The part where I said I felt the ELIJAH PULL is very near, actually. It’s not very long at all, just one chapter, but I’m sure everyone will know exactly what I’m talking about when we get there (but I’m also certain some people will not agree with me! lol). The bed sharing scene is from chapter 28, I think. That chapter was way too long, I had to cut out bits that didn’t necessarily advance the story, and that was one of those. It broke my heart to see it go. 🤣🤣 Chapter 28 WHIPPED MY ASS. I was stuck on it for a whole month. It’s the longest one in the story, and it’s 100% original. Absolutely nothing there comes from either of the shows. I’m sure when it comes the time to post it, it’ll take me forever just editing it again. I still don’t like it. 😫 There’s a lot of angst up ahead, but rest assured that there is a happy ending. So buckle up, dear anon. 😂

As for the updates thing, I think I’ll just post a little announcement of update once, but won’t be reblogging it a billion times. So really, I highly recommend that people who want to be warned about updates subscribe to the fic on AO3. I was starting to feel really weird reblogging my own thing 15 times to get like 5 notes. lol So I’ll spare tumblr of that from now on.

And thank you for your opinion on updates. ❤️ I guess everyone knows what they prefer, and if people can only take one chapter a month, I have to respect that. But it’s been very nice to hear from others who are ok with the quicker updates, because just thinking about another whole year of this story makes me want to cry. 😭 I’m a naturally anxious person, it’s why I dropped 14 chapters at once. But I don’t think that worked very well, so I went back to one at a time. But if it depended on me, I would drop another 14 and be done with it. 😂😂 I might actually do that one day if I decide I’m just done with regular posting.

Ok, let me paused to write out a thought...

So a lot of people were worried about the cult thing and Klaus's intentions but it's clear he had no malicious intentions at all. He charmed and impressed some people for survival purposes and thrived, he enjoyed the love and attention at first and the cult just grew around around him organically whether he liked it or not, more a hippy cult of personality then a religious sect, but at some point he saw that it had gone too far, the pressure and expectation became too much and he realized he'd bitten more than he can chew.

It's actually rather sad how he just wants to escape but the cultists objectify him to all hell, he has no privacy or personal space. The problem with Klaus is that he doesn't do anything mildly, he always goes too big until he's drowning. Boy is already self-sabotaging and I'm sure he's going to start self-destructing very soon as well.
