I haven't abandoned this story. I just put it on the back burner for now. The story is just on a small vacation. It is currently out of office. It can't come to the phone right now. It just fell under my bed to sleep with the monsters. It never left my head. It is everywhere - except on paper.

I love Engage's cutscenes so much! Clanne being so clearly sad looking at Lumera and Alear's last moments together but turning his attention INSTANTLY the moment his sister turns around crying. Gestures and movements like this make the characters feel very alive which is so enjoyable!

Using this gif i made of pm1's video bc i couldn't take a proper clip, the way Alfred shifts his weight and ends looking away with so much sadness, honestly i can feel a sense of helplessness from his movement bc he's always the first to jump to help! It's very Alfred-like.

You can tell the attention to detail in conveying everyone's personalities as well as they can. I love Engage so so so much!
