In case anyone is wondering why I've barely been posting since TCoR released, it's because I have filled up a journal with my thoughts on it, started translating the whole thing for fun and gotten into several heated discussions with irl friends. Until we've all read it I don't trust myself to be very active on here because if I end up being the person to accidentally spoil any of you I'd walk into the ocean.

#like i'm here i'm still insane it's just weird not being able to talk about it #honestly i'm still processing #also i have been busy with other things but i will start working night shifts next month and will probably have the entire book translated #after like two weeks #because the job is basically just to Sit There #might as well be productive #i'm honestly really curious about the official english version since cornelia's daughter is doing it #who will be more faithful to her style #which honestly? not easy. and inkheart & co read weird as hell in english if im honest #just a few more months now.......#sigh. or you could all just learn german real quick.#make an effort. for once. come on-

I really could post part 1 of Ribcage today as I'm currently...ah, just a little over 5k words into Eragon's POV, but that section of Eragon's doesn't have the lead up.

Plus, Part 1 is kinda spoilers for the rest. It's good, I kinda like it, but I still feel like if I post it before I have the rest done it's never gonna get finished.

I'm gonna consult the Oracles of Beta Reading, see if they can give me any advice on splitting it up or taking things out or what.

(clears throat)

(seizes suddenly dangling rope and takes a deeeeep breath)

i feel like people are sleeping on the occam's razor situation of how buckwild it is to outright accuse a guy of being a clone of your friend even if you DO have a lot of circumstantial evidence. there's other options is what im saying. they could just be like. a guy. that's a sensible deduction. you should explore that deduction. ignore my shirt that reads I <3 RED HERRINGS.

(also change belief)#as for how The Truth Come Out... this is what i mean by The Isabeau Torment Nexus(tm). which is that i think... isiloop should almost occur #BEFORE isabeau knows who loop is. he's just genuinely charmed by them eventually and tries to close the open end of the polycule #which FREAKS LOOP THE FUCK OUT because thats just too genuinely sick and wrong. and obviously w emotions high its not a great confrontation #ANYWAY told u i had more thoughts. if i were normal itd be a text post but.

generally i agree with the sentiment of "if you don't like the canon version of a character then you just don't like the character" but when i take bland soulless unwilling to take any risks perfectly made up hair blow dried and styled airbrushed smooth character designs and make them less conventionally attractive and more weird and offputting in both personality and looks that's not me being a hater that's me doing them a favor

The service dog battle vest was kinda just cause I thought it was funny and cheeky and vaguely suggestive and I genuinely wasn't expecting people to actually clock it and start approaching me for like. Support going up the stairs or help picking something up or directions to their bus stop or whatever but it seems to be happening noticeably more frequently when I wear this than when I wear my other weird jackets. Genuinely very funny and charming to me. The people have spoken and they want a service butch

tonio and lovino arent together yet but they are both crushing. emma knows and thoroughly enjoys seeing them both be dumb -- and watching the chaos of them being the leads in a romantic tragedy while they dance around each other...... literally AND figuratively. lmao
