i just want to say that Briggs is the only sensible person in any of the mission impossible movies. THE ONLY ONE.

you know how every person he meets in the movie, he puts his hands on their face and tries to take it off? everybody in those movies should be doing that to everyone they meet.

if you operate in a world of spies and you know that facemask technology exists, THE FIRST thing you should do to any other person you meet in the course of your work as a spy is try to take their face off. The VERY FIRST thing. 

it’s possible to wear someone else’s face? then let me make sure the person i’m talking to isn’t wearing someone else’s face.

“Oh Curses!” Moment: I tend to get lost in the music. When I start playing, I just can’t stop. It usually takes someone shaking me or a loud noise to make me stop.

Favorite Subject: Muse-ic Class of course! It’s a great time to practice and make new songs!

Least Favorite Subject: Swamp Swimming. I love being outdoors as much as the next forester, but a swamp is no place for me.

Best Friends Forever After: I’m childhood friends with all the Merry Men’s children, including Sparrow Hood and Wilma Scarlet. Melody Piper, Hopper Croakington, Sandra Castle, Yeh Jia Li, Mildred Goldstraw, Meen River, Wang Yan Mei, Linda Vorm, and Birch and Maple Spinner are some of my closest friends.

Pet: My pet rooster, Chanticleer, can really carry a note.

Just watched MI:DR Part 1 and we all agree the IA is an Ethan equivalent (not in the literal sense but as a narrative parallel) which went rogue and is manipulating the whole thing precisely because it only trusts Ethan to destroy it and, by extension, the submarine’s super weapon because they are both too dangerous to be in anyone’s hands… right? Like, this is the overall theory we are going with, right?
