As someone who loves animated tv and movies I can say with certainty that the way arcane uses micro expression is so special.

The animation of expressions is simplified in most media for obvious reasons but when arcane animates expression they seem to actually take advantage of the ability to animate each frame to really detail these micro expressions.

They add so much depth to the characters and the story in my opinion. Allowing for the audience to see the conflicting and underlying thoughts and emotions behind a characters actions.

Movement in the ears, eyebrows, lips, jaw, flickering of the eyes or eyelids. Even the way a movement can be faster or slower, halting or assured. All of it tells the story of what the character is going through or thinking better than words can.

This is why I don’t really think much about the arguments that revolve around “they never explicitly talked about this, or apologized, or gave forgiveness etc” cause it’s the little things arcane shows visually like these micro expressions which paint a much more complex picture that doesn’t need words to communicate.

Japanese artist Kiyotaka Mizukosh from Mozu Studios takes us on a miniature tour inside his latest project dubbed the ‘Book CAN’. Designed as a snug, secret base filled with books and lit by a warm desk light, the micro interior is fitted within an empty food can, revealing incredibly detailed elements — from a wooden parquet flooring and rug to potted plants and a pile of hardcovered volumes.

Mazda EV3, 1973. The result of an initiative by Japan’s Agency of Industrial Science and Technology in 1971 with a budget of ¥5 million over 5 years. The 20th Tokyo Motor Show included electric prototypes from all of Japan's car makers. Mazda's EV was a small cab-over electric truck with a 200 kg (440 lb) payload.

Design for trip-up

The hot rod patrol are hot rod's biggest critics, they find fault in just about everything he does and have come to rescue the autobots stranded on earth really just to show they're better than him. And nobody exemplifies their distain towards hot rod better than trip-up, he'll never forgive him for insulting his mom one time (hes very touchy about that)

Trip-up is the most aggressive, contemptuous, and openly malicous member of the hot rod patrol. His own morality is something that deeply troubles him deep down. No matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to fight his urge to be petty.

His willingness to screw other people over to his own benefit is born from his past. He never wanted to be a mechanic, but his momma (bless her spark) died, and he had to take over the family business to stay afloat. His success in the field led to the wreckers taking note.

From their invitation, he met Big Daddy and joined the team. He hates the job, loathes it with a passion, and takes it out on pretty much everybody except hubs. something about her gets him really flustered. It's clear she likes him back in a playful bully kind of way

Even though big daddy and greaser run the team in a very unorthodox, "anything goes in the name of freedom" philosophy, they keep an eye on trip-up as they feel he could be a bad influence on hubs,

trip-up's personal beef with hot rod is that one time, they were testing those exhaust pipe flamethrowers hot rod likes to use so much and trip-up wanted to use a special family recipe as fuel but hot rod preferred a store bought alternative, the greatest insult trip-up ever had to endure

Suzuki Lapin Pickup Truck Concept, 2002. The 5-door Lapin kei car was introduced in 2002 (pictured) at the 36th Tokyo Motor show. Along with the series production Lapin a mini truck concept was presented, created by converting the rear of the Lapin into a cargo bed, inspired by retro American pickup-trucks. The cargo bed, 1.3 metres long x 1.25 metres wide is large enough to carry the 50cc Suzuki "Street Magic" motorcycle, or a mountain bike. Alas the pickup truck remained at one-off for the show
