Talentless Nana x Dandyâs World
I already have an idea of what each toonâs role would be
See the list below if you want â
Poppy â She takes the role of Nana Hiiragi, she is sent to the island to eliminate every toon there. She pretends to have a bubbly personality but sheâs very manipulative and calulated. She has no special talent, but she pretends to read minds. I chose Poppy as Nana as I thought she has that same personality, being all nice and friendly to others. I thought it would be interesting to make a beginner toon into something a lot cooler.
Boxten â He takes the role of Nanao Nakajima. He doesnât do much and is mostly outcasted, he is the first attempted murder but will come back in the future. His special ability is nullifying other toonsâ powers (taking it from Nanao because I couldnât think of anything else for Boxten). I thought Boxten fit Nakajima because theyâre both kind of left behind (in Boxtenâs case, I donât see him as a popular toon in the fandom) and because I thought their personalities were kind of similar, both shy but good at heart. I also though it would be kind of cool to see Boxten in the future.
Finn â He takes the role of Moe Makabe. He was sent to the island a little bit later and joins Poppy as they continue their mission. Finn also does not have any special talents. I thought Finn fit Moe the most since theyâre both outgoing and sort of childish, theyâre also both considered newcomers. Itâs also a common headcanon that Poppy and Finn are family, so I thought the relationship might work there.
Rodger â He takes the role of Kyouya Onodera. Heâs very observant and logical, taking in every piece of information and is able to reduce a coherent story in a matter of minutes through observing his surroundings. I might just give Rodger the ability I gave him, which is being able to look deep into a toonâs soul and see the true them. I think it might help with investigations that happen around the island as the murders take place. Although not the same personality wise, I do think Rodger could fit in story wise (I will explain in Toodlesâ section). They both also play the role as detective.
Cosmo â He takes the role of Michiru Inukai. He is a very kind-hearted but his nervousness gets in the way. Heâs quite selfless, making him quite naive and easy to manipulate by Poppy. Cosmo has the ability to heal others, this also shortens his lifespan. I thought Cosmo was the best for Michiru, not only do they have the same kind of personality but their abilities are quite literally the same (both can heal but at the cost of their own health and life). It does pain me to say that Cosmo does in fact lose his life when trying to heal Poppy, unfortunately. I think Cosmo might still be best friends with Sprout, but became friends with Poppy after Sproutâs death (yes, he will die).
Toodles â She takes the role of Rin Onodera. She is the closest thing to family for Rodger, she was sent to the island before him only to disappear. Toodles has the ability to shapeshift into other toons and animals. She is still alive but takes the form of another toon (possibly not in Dandyâs World, maybe a toon before the main cast). At the point where our present day toons are sent to the island, Toodles is now an adult. Pinpointing who could be Rin was difficult, but ultimately I decided that Toodles is the best. In terms of story, it makes the most sense that Toodles would be related to Rodger (in a sense that Toodles is almost like a âlittle sisterâ to Rodger).
Astro â He (loosely) takes the role of Hikaru Daichi. He has the ability to control gravity, but only depending on where the moon is. Astro is quite humble albiet very reserved since he lives in the mountains away from everyone else. This was a tough choice, I didnât really want Astro to be Hikaru but he made the most sense. Both are related to the moon, they have somewhat similar personalities as theyâre friendly with pretty much everyone by being kind and humble. Although, I wonder if Hikaruâs story could be Astroâs as well, maybe Astro does kind of enjoy sending people to the moon because itâs âbeautifulâ to him.
Glisten â He takes the role of Seiya Kori. He is charismatic and carries a big ego, he is quite the beauty so he has a number of fangirls and fanboys. Taking his ability in the game, Glisten has the ability to teleport. Iâm not sure if I want to make it the exact same where he teleports to another person, but if he did then that would be considered the drawback. Glisten is pretty much the only toon who fits Seiya personality wise. He fits story wise as well, but this time I donât want to give Glisten a girlfriend. It would be funny to see him lose his sparkles in the future, only to get it back. It kind of adds to the charm of Glisten being a mirror.
At this point, Iâm kind of stumped on which character would be who, so from here on out Iâll just explain what each remaining toonsâ powers and abilities would be as well as their drawbacks.
Brightney â Inspired by her ability in the game, Brightneyâs talent is x-ray vision. She can see people through walls and such, being able to identify who it is and where they are. The drawback would be that her vision is temporarily blinded/blurred after using it, itâs similar to staring at a light for too long. It takes a few seconds to get her vision back, but itâs still not very good for her eyes. Iâm wasnât sure if I should have given this ability to Vee or Brightney since theyâre similar in highlighting, but I thought Vee shouldnât get a magical talent as a computer, so I gave it to Brightney.
Flutter â She has the ability to make poison through her mouth, similar to Kirara Habu. I take inspiration from Flutterâs concept design where she had a probocsis, I thought it would be interesting if she could make poison from it. I donât think I should make her flight an ability as thatâs just her species, so I had to give her a different talent. I donât want to make her exactly like Habu, so I changed her drawback to be the lack of speech. Maybe itâs because the poison.
Dandy â I think his ability is quite unknown to the others, I kind of thought that he might be an enemy of humanity/twisted in disguise but it would be more fun to give him an actual talent. If Dandy were to have a talent, it would be mind control. He has the ability to influence others by discretely manipulating their mind. I think that when he uses this ability, the victim will still have their consciousness but they wonât understand why they did such a thing. Maybe Dandy makes them think they should. This could make it seem like he has no talent as itâs almost impossible to distinguish thinking or controlling. I think his drawbacks are unknown as well as the extent of this power.
Goob â Iâm sure itâs obvious, but Goobâs talent is his arms. It works exactly like in game where he can extend and pull others back to him. The drawback this might have is that there is a maximum length where he can reach. Iâm not sure what other talent Goob might have as he doesnât seem to be the type to have a magical ability, his arms are useful though so no one really bothers to point it out.
Razzle & Dazzle â To parallel their twisted version, both of them can make and control ribbons. It might be the same as their twisted version where they can make ribbons come out the ground. For drawbacks, I imagine that they can only make and use a limited amount, perhaps only two (one for each). The ribbons donât necessarily have to be sharp like in the game, they could just act as tentacles or an extra hand.
Scraps â She has the ability to fold herself into anything. Since sheâs made of paper, it doesnât really hurt. She can turn into animals and objects but not very big ones, this could be the drawback. Itâs like making an origami elephant on a regular piece of paper. It wonât be big, but youâll still see the resemblance. Her suction tail is just part of her, itâs not a talent or anything. She can still use it like she can in game, although itâs just something she was born with.
Shelly â I was a little unsure of what ability I should give her, but ultimately I decided that Shelly has the ability to become a shadow or become someoneâs shadow. Her ability in the game is useless here as I think machines and extracting isnât necessary, so I decided I should take inspiration from her twistedâs research log. It says that Shelly was tired of being forgotten, meaning that sheâs not very popular in the show, so it made the most sense that her talent would parallel that. Shadows could metaphorically mean that someone isnât noticed or no one pays any mind to them, perfect for Shelly. The only drawbacks I can think for Shelly is that she can only use this ability when out of sight or she can only do it in dimly lit areas.
Shrimpo â Although I had a few ideas, I decided that Shrimpo would have super strength. His strength depends on his emotions, the more negative he is the stronger he is (which is all the time). I think positive emotions make him weaker. His drawback would be that he canât control this ability very well, sometimes he will break tables and chairs because he canât determine how much is being used. Shrimpoâs punches can send buildings across the entire island, but he wonât do that. Another idea I had was talking/hearing animals and insects, but I thought it would be too useless.
Sprout â Taking inspiration from his ability in the game, Sprout has the ability to manifest from thin air. A drawback to this is that it takes a great deal of energy depending on how large the object is, a limited size for each object could also be a drawback. Sprout can manifest small things like pencils and cupcakes, but he canât manifest things like tables and large wardrobes. I thought this could work as his talent as it seems he can make food in his in game ability, and instead of making him take it out of the oven, I just thought it would be more fitting to have him manifest it from his mind.
Teagan â I could give them one of two talents; being able to go back in time or having super speed. I guess the going back in time idea would be the same as Youhei Shibusawa where she can only go back in time less than 24 hours back, but Iâm not sure if it fits her. Super speed is interesting too as she can move so fast that they look like theyâre teleporting. I guess it also fits in the sense that she can dodge pretty much anything. I think the super speed is more interesting, the only drawback is that she runs out of breath quicker when using it.
Tisha â Her talent is having a death touch. Self explanatory, things that she touches will die slowly. This works on any living organism, the smaller the organism is the faster it will die (things such as bacteria, itâs helpful for cleaning). Despite this, her touch is not automatic, so itâs not anything to worry about. A simple light tap on the shoulder wonât kill someone instantly, she has to be holding her hand on it for a long period of time before they actually die.
Vee â She has no talent, however she does count as the islandâs database. She is observant and can keep each toonsâ talents in files. Itâs helpful for people who need the knowledge, people like Poppy.

Today is 2nd June đłïžâđđ.Just about a week ago, I randomly fell down the rabbit hole of Sailor Moon. I was a MASSIVE fan as a kid, it was an obsession lol. However, like in most countries, the original anime was censored. Many things were cut off, including the whole final episode in my case. One thing they erased is the relationship between two of the heroines, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus. In fact, I found out they were a couple only when I was ~16 years old!! And Neptune EVEN was my favourite character..
In the original show, there's nothing sexual shown on screen, not even a kiss between the two, so there's NOT A SINGLE REASON to censor it, and besides, there are far more "traumatising" scenes, like murder, torture, a suicide... that were left intact.
If I were a child while watching those scenes, I would have thought nothing worrying. To be fair, I would have thought "wait, loving a girl is an option??" because turns out I like girls... but the acceptance of my sexuality wasn't easy at all, I repressed my feelings until late teenage years, and I hurt myself and other people in doing so.
Sailor Moon is not only about this, of course: It's an amazing show that shaped my whole childhood. It really helped a whole generation of children and teens. It's a staple of anime and manga, a symbol of women empowerment, and strenght in femininity. I grew up with the Senshis' looks so much that, thinking about it, maybe that's why I dress with pleated short skirts all the time, and wear ribbons...
The only thing is, i feel an empty spot where Michiru and Haruka's love should have been. The censorship among children's media, especially if coming from the (more progressive) far east, erased from our whole childhood the message that, yes, love is love.

Do you think any of the senshi play any instruments?
Mmmh, well we obviously know Michiru plays her violin, but to be honest I see her playing many others, she just enjoys playing the violin the most.
Regarding the others: first of all I know Haruka canonically plays the piano, I⊠donât really see it. Like at most I see her memorizing a few pieces to play with Michiru, but I donât see her playing it for fun or to learn. She doesnât really strike me as a music or arts person.
I could see Mina easily picking up the guitar, Iâm not sure what it is, but it really fits her! Also it would definitely help her future career. Maybe a keyboard as well.
I have the idea that Usagi still keeps her old recorder around and low key still enjoys playing it sometimes. She knows it never sounds great and probably never will, but she doesnât expect it to, sheâs just having a good time playing the old songs she was taught years back.
Ami I donât see playing anything. She couldâve had an interest while she was younger, but I think Saeko wouldâve quickly tried to usher any possible interest in arts and music out of Ami, unless it was required by the school. So as soon as Amiâs class didnât require students to play the recorder, it wouldâve been out of Amiâs sight.
I can see Rei playing the piano. It was probably something she was forced to learn when she was younger, since being able to play an instrument is an important social step for children coming from high status families. She plays it for herself and, when others ask, she says she doesnât play it, most likely out of spite for her father.
Mako⊠idk. I donât see her playing anything to be honest. I can see her singing every now and then, when sheâs particularly happy, but I donât think making music is much of interest to her.
Sorry this was probably lackluster, Iâm not the biggest music nerd. Youâll learn to tell lol.

The glimpse of a lost memory about someone that doesn't exist anymore
[ ONE-SHOT ]
[ Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon / Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon ]
Okay, i can't believe I made myself cry after reading it once it was done! I think i put waaaay to much heart on this
I really REALLY hope you like it as much as I did, my dear reader ! â€ïž
It all started by just a simple dream, it wasn't the first time Usagi dream with someone calling out for her, it happened before she became a Sailor Scout, but this time it felt different, it wasn't like if that person was calling for her to try and reach her, if was more like if it were someone greeting her, happy to see her again, and whenever she wake up she felt rather melancholic
The first time Usagi tried to just brush it off, but soon it started to happen more and more, every time it was diferent scenarios and diferent places but what never changed was the person talking to her, someone she can't reconize, she can't even see their face but know that is smiling at her, it was too weird, but what it was more weird it was how happy and comforted she felt on that dreams
Soon she will end up telling her friends about it, probably just because she was too distracted with all of this that it had became obvious for everyone, Usagi tried to brush it off but it was of no use since they know her too well, and at the end she finally tells them about the weird dreams she have been having lately, and for her surprised everyone agreed to have those dreams too, for everyone was different but what never changed was the person talking to them, even Mamoru had a few dreams with someone who talked to him with respect but treat him as family
Everyone start to worry about it, they would prefer to don't take it as something bad imediatly but it wasn't imposible to be some kind of trick from their enemies, so everyone decided to investigate more about it, looking for any posible enemies that were trying to trick them into something, or maybe it was just the inmense curiosity everyone were feeling, they needed a reason for that strange melancholic they feel for those dreams
But not matter what they do, at the end there was no threaten, only the feeling of melancholic, like if they had lost something and now they were missing it, it was so confusing, Makoto, Rei and Minako were the ones growing more frustrated for not reaching any answer to what the hell was happening, they want to be ready for any posible future threating but this was too strange and yet it felt so familiar
At some point Michiru, Haruka, Setsuna and Hotaru get involved too, it is normal for them to step in if there is any posible threaten to their princess but they were pretty much in the same position at the rest, the feeling of missing something and some weird dreams of someone they don't reconize, however their role when they were on the Moon Kingdom were far different from the others and they are more aware than the other sailor scouts about what happened, so they are a little more aware about this situation, somehow knowing that it isn't a bad thing, in fact is the opposite
Now being all together on this it would make things easier for them to try to find answers, using all their recurses and powers together to try to find out who is that person that they can't remember but always smile at them. Even when it was dificult they had came way too far to back off now, feeling a curiousity grow by the shared feeling of lost and missing, the more they go deeper by trying to remember the more sadness start to grow in their hearts, it was so strange but make them think that this was far more important from what they thought
The answers they were searching for were finally reveled when they finally reached the spot where they had lost what they were missing, in one of the rooms of the the ruins of the castle of the moon they were able to find the remains of a dead star that leave behind only their feelings, their wish of a greater future, barely noticeable but still somehow intense
The memories slowly started to came to them again, it was you the one that was being missing, that one comforting presence that make them feel melancholic. Still without being able to fully to see your face they started to remember the day they met you, a shooting star that came to the moon kingdom, motivated by pure love you wanted to serve the royal family and fight along side with the greatest warriors that were the sailor scouts, your comforting presence was even able to be felt even for those who were so far away, you used to always look at the vast universe in their direction, sending them a smile hoping they won't feel too lonely
You became their friend and confident, become part of the group and spend a long time with them, caring and helping all of them at the best of your habilities, trying your best to teach the princess what you had to offer, even when that bring you problems since you were the one to teach her to travel to earth. You laughed with them and cried with them so long ago, you cared for them and cover their backs on battles, you were there to fight along side with them to protect the kingdom and the princess, you were also there to watch how the pince Endymion sacrificed himself to save your princess and to see your princess take her own life, you were there to cry for their dead and slowly see the kingdom fall into the deepest sadness, to see the kingdom slowly perish by the aftermath of the war
You had came to serve the princess because of love and that love was the one who motivated you to try your best until the very end, people always said that shooting stars were able to make wishes come true and you were determinated to do that, you didn't care about the price you'll have to pay, you had made your choise and decided to use your power to make your wish come true. But your wish was not only too ambicious but it was also taboo for a shooting star to use their power to make their own wish come true, but you didn't care
So, with all your determination you used all your power (and you even had to use your connection with the other sailor scouts, taking a little bit of their power to help you, just hoping they wouldn't mind), concentrating all your power, putting all your heart and mind to ask for your wish, you asked to please give your beloved friends and princess, the people you consider your family, a second chance to be together
Using all your power and strength you were able to make sure that someday somehow all of them would be able to met again and live together in the planet your beloved princess used to love so much, but, sadly, you won't be able to be in that future that you wished with all your heart, to make your own wish come true you had to consume not only all your power but also your entire existance, you had to return to your purest form as a star to let it happen, but you wouldn't mind, as long you assure that they have a future then you didn't mind giving your life for it
And then, on that last glimpse of memory the recovered they were finally able to see your face, smiling brightly as your body slowly start to fade away, whispering your last goodbye to them and wishing them a bright future before you become nothing but a light that were slowly foing out
It was more than what they expected, and it hit them harder than what they would guess, they were able to remember you only to lose you again, even if they wanted there was no way making you return, your existance have been extinct for so long ago, leaving behind only your love impress on that wish thay will make them company and protect them forever
The melancholy quickly become a deep sadness and a terrible feeling of missing you, now that they remember all that they lived with you they can't stop the tears from falling, even those that never had the pleasure to met you in person can feel an emptiness in their hearts and the lack of your comforting presence, even Mamoru, who had spent little time with you and in really bad circumstances remember that comforting smile you give him when he came to the moon or the horrified expression in your face when he was hurt, he even remember your voice calling out for him before he died as the prince Endymion
You knew that there was a high posibility that you'll be forgotten and yet you didn't care, for you it was fine as long as they could live happily all together, just as they all wanted, but now that they had remember you all of them promised to never forget you again, even if you can't heard them anymore, even if you won't be able to smile at them again they will not forget you ever again, living in your honor and carrying the memories close to their heart, forever grateful for your sacrifice

Iiitttss Kazumi magica doppels wheeeee! The kazumi girls are done so. Fucking. Dirty. In magireco. Im so viciously mad about how shit Carola is
Well anyway lets start. Carola is completely redone, based on when Kazumi is transforming into a witch along with other aspects. She seems to be very based on curls and such. Kept the chef hat cause thats like the ONLY good part of the original. Michiruâs witch is regular while Kazumiâs will incorporate parts of her clones, tying her up like shes not in control.
Now whereâs Umikaâs witch? Um⊠I was so utterly uninspired by not only her but also her doppel, like, man, I couldnt think of ANYTHING. Maybe another timeâŠ
As much as I love the trans icon Antonio, its so not Kaoru its unbelievable. So new Antonio is metallic to match with one of Kaoruâs abilities and they have big feet to focus on the football theme. This is definitely a first go, they need more work
Weisse Konigin, Nikoâs witch. Shes a little hard cause there isnt much to her but I think simple can be good. Niko is suspended in the middle of the target and the doppels arms go into the ground to attack with her blades. The hole in her head is dripping with blood
Ritterustrung von Heulsuse and Satomi. My poor sweet Satomi⊠forgotten⊠v-v dont worry Satomi, I love you⊠Satomi is inside the cage of her witch with her legs sticking out. I simplified down the witch and gave her one big arm for her whip to suit the more simple appearances doppels usually go for
Plejaden von Asunaro. Saki is inside the closed, crying eye of the witch. Miyuriâs silhouette is in another part of the doppel and it is on a stalk like a flower.
Angelica, Miraiâs witch thought up by me. Of course it would be a teddy. Is it too simple? Maybe⊠It has her blade and the circle on its chest resembles Sakiâs witch.
Another fanmade witch, for Kanna. I intended her to be the opposite of Nikoâs. Schwarzer Konig, black king to oppose the white queen. Her hands match one of Nikoâs abilities, able to fire bullets. The body of the witch matches Kannaâs outfit.
Nie Bluhen Herzen for Airi. Similar to her half witch appearance, not too hard. Sheâd use the defibrilators for attack
Arzt Kocken for Yuuri, kinda a match to Airiâs. Arzt Kocken is her bottom half and Yuuri wields her forks.
Zweikopfiger boser flugel and the Souju twins. Dunno if I like it 100% the girls have the collars of the witch and threee mouths to represent their three forms
I wanted to give a witch to Sumire. Since she was in the freezer, I gave her one of the witches that appeared there. And as she has a Japanese styled outfit I went for the kagami mochi witch. Sumire sits on her tendrills like a swing and she shoots oranges.

Choose Your Own Adventure: September
Finally getting into some real spooky shit. I hope you like at least parts of it ahaha. Enjoy! 3100 words.
The moonlight didnât pierce this far into the house. Darkness surrounded every corner, and only the wavering flame of Harukaâs little lighter cast anything into the night. Haruka held it far from her face, ignored it as the tip of her thumb got hotter and hotter. But the black of it. It seems to be more than just the dark, it seemed to almost swallow the light.Â
âLena? Uh, Commander Oxton?âÂ
It was like the hallways and floor were covered in thick carpet, her voice not echoing at all, but stifling, quieting, into the walls. Everything beneath her was so hard, and only her voice seemed to come softer and softer, even as she looked.Â
Where would she have run? It was hard to be sure. It occurred to Haruka, in that moment, that she diodnât know Lena all that well, and that any kinship she felt between them was probably all one-sided, and that it was definitely weird to be the one going after her. But she still kept creeping forward down the hallway.Â
She had to apologize for Minako. It felt odd to say it that way, but she felt it all the same. Mina wasnât usually like that, she might say, and it might even feel true. Other than, of course, the fact that Mina was always like that.Â
No, but that was wrong, too. Mina could be like that, but she was funny and usually she didnât--the whole thing confused Haruka. Not that it took much, she snorted to herself. But as many people sheâd seen Mina put on the defensive, and even as mean as she had seen Mina be, there was something about the way sheâd attacked Lena that made no sense to her. Lena hadnât even done anything, as far as she could tell.Â
Was the hall getting darker? That seemed impossible, it had been so dark already. Maybe it was just the darker was getting fuller. The flat darkness was turning to one she could feel, plush, soft, like one of Michiruâs winter dresses, or the pillows on the couch at the country club. Something so thick it could suffocate you in its luxury.Â
But that was stupid. Dark was dark, and mean was mean, and it was just another day of Minako Aino picking on someone because she felt mad or threatened or bored or whatever. That was it. That was all. Her lighter was just running out of butane. That was it. That was all.Â
There was a break in the dark, like a door appearing in some dream, a bright block of light with an arch at the top. Her lighter flickered, and then died, leaving her crushed in the blackness, swimming through it, almost able to taste the salt of it as she walked toward the shimmering silver of that light. From somewhere off, she heard singing, a womanâs voice, high and clear as when her cufflink hit a fancy wine glass.Â
She walked toward the light, and stepped through the door
----
âLena.âÂ
Youâre dead, she thought, but the words wouldnât come. How long had it been since she had managed to keep a stray thought inside? Why had it been this one? Youâre dead, she thought, but it felt so untrue, as he smiled at her, the same broad, crooked smile she wore on her own face, a keepsake passed from Oxton to Oxton. His eyes were bright and animated in the firelight, the crowâs feet around them only highlighting how often he had smiled in life. She had her motherâs eyes, but the freckles on her face were a mirror to his, two parts of a shared Milky Way.Â
He was dead, and impossibly alive, and in the mental collision of these two facts, Lena could do nothing but wrap her arms around him tightly, and throw her body into his.Â
âDad.âÂ
Worse, then, or better, the knowledge of his death fading away as her cheek slipped against the comforting sameness of his tattered grey cardigan, the one only minutes before she would have sworn was laying across the back of her couch. How could he be dead, when she could smell the spice and wood of his cologne, that hopelessly dated thing sheâd sprayed on herself at fourteen?Â
âEverythingâs all right now, love. Youâre âere now.âÂ
He ruffled the back of her hair, and there was something in the back of her mind, but she couldnât hear it over the sounds of laughing and chatting behind her. She was home for Christmas. This was where sheâd always meant to be, with her family, the only somewhat sloppily constructed puddings and the smell of warm meat. The brandy punch and mediocre beer. The happiness.Â
It began to surround her, to fill her ears and her eyes and her throat like honey, sweet and perfect and suffocating. .Â
âRight.â She pulled away, but only to drown herself deeper in the comfort of the moment. âDad, I--âÂ
âNone of that matters now,â he shook his head, âYouâre safe, and youâre âome. Well--âÂ
âFlorrieâs.â Lena completed the thought, looking around. Hadnât it been a bigger room? Hadnât it been flocked in deep wallpaper and dark wood, just a moment ago? No, that all seemed so far away. Just a nightmare. It had always been a warm, cheerful, living room in West Ham, too small for the crowd but none the worse for it.Â
She touched the strap of her accelerator, running her fingers against the strap until they wandered to the piece itself, as small as Winston could have made it. She sat down on the ground next to her fatherâs knee, trying to sort it all out.
She came in the door. She came in the door, and she didnât come from the station. She kept shaking her head. This couldnât be her cousinâs house. The last time she was at her cousinâs house, with her father, was before the Slipstream. Her father had died when--she willed herself not to look at him--he had died before she was found. Fight back. This was a dream. This was a wish. This was a particularly mean trick. She had to go.Â
Lena turned her face upwards. There was the thumping of feet as a little herd of children came to her and tackled her to the ground.Â
âAunt Lena!âÂ
âYou going to play with us?âÂ
âI missed you!âÂ
The alarm in the back of her mind sank under the weight of joy, and she grinend as she picked one of them up and ran toward the tree.Â
---
Haruka was trapped in a snowglobe. Or so it seemed. The light refracted like glitter off the glass panes, little cracks here and there only making brighter flecks of light. Had she seen this from the outside? It was just a greenhouse, one of the fancy ones attached to old houses, but she thought she might have seen it from outside. Wouldnât it have shone?Â
She didnât remember the moon being this bright, when theyâd walked here. Yeah, it was raining. Sheâd been freezing in her leather jacket, and sheâd be pissed that the water might ruin it. But now the moon was bright and full, and it pierced through the gloom to shine down on Haruka, walking toward the middle of the great glass structure.Â
It must have been beautiful when it was still used. It looked dead now, the planters all withered and quiet in the moonlight. But it was still a bright spot in a dark house, and maybe Lena had found her way here, same as Haruka.Â
âCommander Oxton?âÂ
The hallway had swallowed her voice, and the glass garden amplified it. Amplified it, echoed it, tossed it back and forth between the walls so many times it began to sound strange, began to say different things. The old stands where plants had once grown seemed like skeletons in the light, just the bare bones of what had once been a lush forest.Â
No response. No one here. There was no way Lena could have avoided hearing her, as loud as the echo had been. She should leave. Look somewhere else.Â
There was the clank of metal, and Haruka whirled around to follow it. Behind her, rising and twisting like a plume of a smoke, was a great dark staircase, iron turned and bound into complicated curls by the will of the house, twisted into a neat spiral up toward a balcony, and a litte door into another room.Â
âLena?âÂ
The echoes came again. Lena. Lena. Leave. Lena. Leap. Leap.Â
Maybe sheâd gone up there. It looked like the kind of place Haruka might go to be alone, if sheâd had the kind of shake Lenaâd had. She could tell Lena she gets upset sometimes too. Sometimes she doesnât think she deserves to be here either. Like Lena told her she didnât do school. It was okay. You didnât have to be perfect to be good. Sheâd say that.Â
âCommander Oxton?â Commander Oxton. Commander Oxton. Fucking Simpleton. Commander Oxton. Committed Moron.Â
Haruka blinked, and shook her head. Her hearing wasnât that good, true, but this place had a strange sound to it. Some of the echoes came back, and they came back wrong, and they came back inside her. They seemed louder than the others. But there were only echoes. They were still in her own voice. It was just the way the house was built, right? There had to be something about the way the the greenhouse seemed to curve into forever that made her voice say something different. Sheâd read about that happening in caves.Â
No she hadnât. But it sounded like something that might happen in a cave. Maybe sheâd seen it in a movie.Â
A scent grabbed her nose, pulled her face closer to that staircase. Everything in here was dead, it was cold and it was uncared for, and there was nothing here. But it smelled fresh and sweet, almost like Michiruâs perfume, flowers Haruka could not identify but knew were the kind kept in vases at the entrance of a fine home. Even in the bright grey of the moonlight, the skeletons of plants seemed to darken and green.Â
She put her foot on the bottom stair. The clink of it echoed across that glass universe, a sneaker on the stair, a dress shoe against the steel, a knife against a fork. It caught in her throat, that sound. Hand on the black steel snake curling up toward the ceiling. Foot on that wrought, inky step. Stopped for a moment, a character in that snowglobe, light glittering around her.Â
Haruka almost felt like a doll in its house, moved around by the whims of a child, unable to stop herself as she climbed that stair, still convincing herself she was looking for Lena at the top of it.Â
Somewhere in the night, under glass, a flower bloomed, and a slender bit of rope began to slide from the ceiling.Â
----
A perfect Christmas, thatâs what it was. Better than any she could remember. They still hadnât run out of pigs in a blanket. The childrenâs voices were sweet, and there was hardly any yelling, even from the adults, and all of it was in play. The pudding, by some miracle, had not been overcooked, even with the size of it. The night was magic and warm and seemed never to end, and Lena didnât want it to.
This was it. The dream she clung to so many times as she carreened through time, as she lay in a hospital bed, as she fought her way back one more time. It was all for them, and it was all for this, the happiest she ever was, in a life full of happy moments.Â
She giggled as she tumbled around on the floor, a child jumping over her back amd flipping onto the floor, Lena obligingly diving in to eat her tummy as she squealed. She always had such fun with them. It was a part of her important function in the family, being silly Aunt Lena. Maybe someday sheâd have some of her own, if she was lucky.Â
A flash, in her mind. A pretty redhead, waiting for her. Emily. How could she have forgotten? She and Emily had talked about having children--it would be no easy task, for the two of them, but it was something they both wanted desperately. It gave Lena pause, the forgetting.
âSheâs only running a bit late, Lena.âÂ
His smile radiated at her from near the fireside. Heâd read her mind. Well, of course he had, sheâd been with her Dad all her life, and just the two of them for so much of it, as much as any Oxton can be only two.Â
And yet.Â
She sat still in the middle of the room, a few children still collapsing over her. Why wasnât it too loud? Had there ever been a Christmas where Lena hadnât stepped outside for a moment? It was a small room, and there were so many of them, and they were, loud, abrasive, proper East Enders, but to see this room, to hear it, more like, seemed closer to a Dickens Christmas special on the noble everyman.Â
She stood, ignoring the pleas of what seemed to be her cousinsâ little children, and walked over to sit next to her father.Â
âSomethingâs wrong.âÂ
He laughed. âKnow itâs a bit odd to âave things go well for us, Lena, but itâs not wrong. Donât always need to make us Godâs chew toy. You can stay âere.âÂ
He took her hand, and there was a pause as the fire crackled, and even the children seemed to quiet.Â
âDo you like it? Are you âappy?âÂ
âYes.â She immediately wished she could take it back, sensing the poison in it. âIâm--â Â
She shook her head, even as she felt something twist inside her, begging her to stay where it was warm and the food was plentiful and her father was blissfully, impossibly alive. Flashes came, again. Fareeha. Fareeha was trying to get funding for things. Some partnership. She was meant to be helping.Â
âI âave to go.â She stood, looking for the door. âI canât be âere. This--âÂ
âLove, why? âAvenât you given enough? âAvenât we? Donât you deserve this? Let it âelp you.âÂ
âDad,â she took both his hands, pleading, âThereâs things in the world, right--things that need fixing, and I âave to go do it. Someone must. People all over the world, in trouble, and--if we go now, we can âelp. Itâs lovely, this room, this place. But what of everyone else? Right?âÂ
âWhat is it to you, Lena?â He put his hand on her shoulder. âIf the world falls to bits? What âas it done for you? Blame you? Put you on a pedestal, to drop you from it? You owe that world nothing.âÂ
Lena laughed. Clarity like a knife. Painful, bright, immediate.Â
âYouâre not me dad.âShe stepped back and shook her head, the fire growing darker, âHe would not fucking say that. Not Bert Oxton, not in âis worst moment.âÂ
She strode toward the door, as the Christmas tree crashed behind her, spilling glass confetti onto the floor in silvers and greens and reds. The chatter became a complete silence, the Christmas pudding letting off that sick-sweet burn of melted sugar as it lit aflame, but Lena grabbed the doorknob and twisted, hard.Â
âNone of this is real.âÂ
The thing pretending to be her father began to laugh behind her, louder and higher in pitch, until she turned.Â
âLeeeennaaaaaâ the end of her name turned back into the laugh, peakling and falling over itself.Â
His voice began to warp, wrist, melt, into something that seemed both posher and wilder, an overgrown rose climbing the ruins of a stately home.
âIt can give you the carrot Lenaaaaa, or it can give you the stick.âÂ
She pulled hard on the deoor and thundered into the hallway, her mind clearing completely as she did so, the intoxicating brandy and laughter falling away from her as she hurried through the darkness. She had to get back to the rest. They had to leave. The house knew things, the house was building things, it was still building after all these years.Â
The hallway bucked and lifted and Lena flew up into the air and slammed to the floor.
It blitzed a bright blue, and ages crowded in around her before snapping back. A fuzzy static buzzed around her, in the distance, âTracer, what is your position, Tracer, come in Tracer.âÂ
It canât be real. Itâs only a trick. The house builds things, the house builds things, the house--the hallway began to shudder and groan, the metal grinding against the forces of time and losing the battle. She reached out for the control wheel, even knowing the cause was lost, a kind of turbulence sheâd never felt.Â
âMayday,â she mouthed, and then shook her head, âItâs not real, itâs not real, Iâm in a bloody--â
The hallways shuddered again, breaking apart, and a shriek of freezing cold surrounded her.Â
âTracer! Position!âÂ
She curled up with her hands over her head. âNo no no no no. Not this.Â
âStop it! Stop it!âÂ
In a dark hallway not far off, armed with only a flashlight, Fareeha Amari stood, utterly annoyed.Â
Everything had gone wrong. Lena was her first priority, It was too cold for her to be off by herself, and she hated the disorganization of it besides. There was, of course, the matter of what Mina had said. It was wrong, of course, and it had been exceptionally cruel to say. It was a sore spot, for Lena, and not a matter to be joked about. Not that Mina had been joking.Â
But how to put it to Lena? She should have brought Angela. Fareeha was hopeless on these matters. She began to recite what she would say, in her head. Of course Mina was incorrect. No reasonable person could have expected you to assess bullet trajectory. She certainly would have succeeded if Lena hadnât intervened, so it was better than at least the world saw Overwatch making an attempt. Lena did damage her position somewhat by later sleeping with the enemy in a very literal sense, and how did she--no! There it was again, the inevitable criticism. She would attempt to comfort Lena and make it worse. She was a red pen made flesh, and it was an unstoppable flaw, that she could not simply be kind. There always had to be a post-script to any kind word
There was a noise, soft and far away.Â
Fareeha shone her flashlight down the hallway, and nearly called out when another cry, louder now, a scream, came up behind her, East End inflected and tortured.Â
âYOUâRE âURTING ME!!â
Very important poll here

I donât read character x reader fics both cause itâs just not my thing and cause romance itself is not my thing. But I would find it hilarious if you had a Shirou Ogami x Reader fic that like just jokes about the fact Michiru is basically Shirouâs daughter, and Y/N having to adjust to that. Like:
Shirou:Â âY/N, I care about you and you make me feel complete in a way I havenât felt in a thousand years.â
Shirou:Â âBut before we go any further I must come clean to you about something. I have a daughter.â
Y/N:Â âOh well Iâm sure sheâs lovely, I canât wait to meet her.â
Shirou:Â âWell maybe daughter isnât the perfect word, I more so have-â
Michiru: *Crawls out filthy from a tipped over trashcan*
Michiru:Â âHey, dad!â
Shirou:Â âa that...I need to hose her off when we get home.â
Y/N:Â âWell she seems...lively.â
Shirou:Â âJust wait till you meet the other one.â
Y/N:Â âThereâs another one?!â

đ» for Castlevania?
Did you know about the leitmotif Michiru Yamane has included in many tracks?
youtube
The video doesn't include other examples like Dracula Appears (right at the moment where Mathias reveals he has abandoned humanity) and Requiem of Star-Crossed Nights, which is very interesting considering the intro theme references Vampire Killer.
It seems very deliberate. I accept this theory that it's meant to relate to vampires!
And I really like this comment that explains how Aiolon Ruins ties to it:
Maybe Aolin Ruins was a site where vampirism or rituals pertaining to vampirism occured? It's the second most unnerving area in Curse of Darkness with the basement of Garibaldi Temple being the creepiest. Garibaldi felt like a church or a place of godly worship that eventually got corrupted (via Dracula and his curse) into a place of sacrifice and bloodletting. I mean what with Legion making a cozy home in the basement and the iconography throughout the temple (stained glass windows and the breakable torches) displaying demonic entities instead of angels and saints, etc. Maybe Aolin Ruins was some sort ancient city/mines that eventually became sinister locale for vampire cults/etc? This got me thinking about Curse of Darkness' locations. Each one seems to showcase different aspects of life breaking down, decaying, and corrupting into never ending chaos (until a Belmont, or in Curse of Darkness Belmont and Hector puts a stop to it).
It's compounded by Yamane's comment on the theme: "Has a slightly Asian feel. Perhaps some kind of secret ritual is taking place here..."
It's all so cool and well thought out I love it <3
(I could also gush about the state of decay most locations in CoD are, especially Garibaldi Temple and Cordova Town!)

hibiki: lesbian bc if she dated a boy she'd be letting us girls down kanade: bi ellen: I just can't imagine ellen having a crush on anyone bc it's been so long since I watched the show ako: still too young to be interested and also the examples of romance she's seen are hibikana and whatever her parents have going on so she's sort of down on the whole concept
miyuki: well her crush is peter pan. I think she's not interested in romance in real life. maybe she will be someday, maybe not akane: I remember shipping her with nao but somehow it's funny to me to say she's straight. she did have a crush on brian yayoi: like miyuki she's more interested in fictional romance. if she dated someone she would expect it to be like in anime nao: bi. she's like makoto sailor jupiter where she thinks boys dont like her bc she's too tall so she has to date girls reika: lesbian
mana: canonically straight rikka: canonically into mana. lesbian alice: I think she's still working on developing her own self-image outside the expectations of her family, who would certainly want her to marry a man makopi: disease where instead of brain you have princess marie-ange. lesbian aguri: still at the age where she thinks romance is something that happens in a movie where a prince rides in on a white horse

mirai and riko: lesbian kotoha: I don't see her ever being interested in romance due to her whole thing

hikaru, lala, elena, madoka, yuni: lesbian I don't know if they have lesbians on lala's planet though
nodoka: I think for most of her life she was like "romance is something that happens to other people" so she hasn't spent time figuring it out yet chiyu: bi hinata: bi asumi: doesn't have those feelings which is good bc can you imagine asumi trying to date
manatsu, sango, minori, asuka, laura: lesbian
yui: bi but oblivious, like love kokone: lesbian ran: bi amane: lesbian
sora: lesbian. replace every time she says hero with lesbian mashiro: she definitely thinks she likes boys but I'm not sure if she does tsubasa: his curse is that if he hangs out with anyone his own age ageha will keep elbowing him and raising her eyebrows and he has to be like "it's not like that!!" so he doesn't know what it is like yet ageha: I feel like she does kind of have straight girl who calls her friends girlfriend energy elle: I dont know what to say about elle due to her situation
komugi: lesbian in dog years iroha: I think bi but hasn't explored it at all bc she's told herself it's not important yuki: lesbian cat mayu: lesbian human

Tadaima, Okaeri Ep 9 Stray Thoughts
Last week, Hikari faced his fear of dogs after getting encouragement from both of his dads because he wanted to befriend the neighbor dog. Masaki and Hiromu went back to see Masaki's uncle, because healing is a process, and Hiromu and the Kazuhiko came to an understanding: Hiromu and Masaki have been through a lot, but they just want to build a peaceful space for their family.
Oh my god we're bridging from Hikari's love of tomatoes with the new kid's hair.
"She was born before yesterday." Well he's not wrong.
I was wondering when we'd deal with an omega child. I wasn't certain if they'd do that with Hinata.
It's a bit fast to be letting a new neighbor babysit, no? Even if he reminds you of your wife?
Wow, look at my gay dads being real with each other about the situation with the neighbor rather than lying and playing games. I love these men so much.
I totally get Masaki wanting to provide a space for a kid who maybe experienced some of what he felt.
I like the way the show is playing with perspective to make Michiru look especially small when he was scared and missing his dad.
This moment also feels earned from the previous work about Hikari trying to be a grown up. It's actually a really sad story inside of this adorable show about grief and loss.
Hikari breaking that moment with the comment about snacks was beautiful.
I was hoping we'd get to see Yuki today.
I am dying laughing at these twins showing up and scaring the shit out of these poor kids.
I am still so in love with Hiromu and Masaki. I really love that Hiromu was able to ask about his concerns and be a little bit jealous. It's also funnier because Hiromu gets more jealous of Hikari's friends. I really love them creating a space in their home for the kind of world they'd like to live in. I actually couldn't take many notes because I was so focused on the episode itself.

I think the major problem when engaging with shippy stuff, especially as it pertains to Suletta and Miorine specifically, at least from my perspective as a veteran of multiple fandom shipping wars, is that shipping to me always carries the idea of wish fulfilment for when two characters have a great romantic chemistry or potential with each other but are not necessarily together in the text of the show/book/film/etc. or at the very least it isn't an intended focus.
So it is a bit of a problem when folks will put out shipping popularity polls and such and SuleMio will be featured in it while almost every other pairing is of the wish fulfilment variety, and like
Do they not just defacto win automatically? They are not a ship so much as they are a Canonically Married In The Text of Their Show Couple. In a Who is the Best Theoretical Couple Competition, I would imagine they'd have a pretty huge advantage in not being Theoretical. Is my view on what a ship even is wrong?
Like, maybe put them in a bracket featuring Haruka and Michiru and the Yuri on Ice guys and you might be on to something then.

Some other people found out from the teaser that Saki has a ring on one of her fingers, likely a wedding one. It doesn't seem like any of the other girls have rings, so she might be the only one in this sequel that is married, initially at least.
My hope is that she's married to Mai, or Michiru, I'm not picky, but it's most likely to a man.
Off the top of my head, there are two possibilities from the original Splash Star. The first is Mai's older brother, Kazuya, who Saki is very clearly crushing on throughout the season, but it seemed more like an unrequited love a young girl might have for an older boy the same way in Cardcaptor Sakura where Sakura has a crush on Yukito.
The other option is Kenta, the boy that Saki occasionally banters with, and he also seems to crush on her a few times early on, but as the season progressed, their "romance" didn't really develop, like Saki never really saw him as anything more than a friend. I wouldn't be that opposed to him being her husband, since he's not bad compared to some of the other guy love interests in this franchise later on.
They could also just make up a man for Saki to be married too, and it's not like that's unrealistic, you don't always end up marrying your childhood friends/first love. In my opinion, that would feel a bit odd, because OtonaPre has about a 10-20 year timeskip from when we last saw these women, so to start off with Saki married to someone we know basically nothing about, feels a bit cheap, unless there is enough backstory to make it work. Even so, it's still up in the air how many episodes OtonaPre has, so I'm not sure they'd want to spend too much time laying the groundwork for that potential new character.
Moving onto Mai, it would be really sad if Saki was the only one of the two who got married. Like, for better or worse, in Splash Star, Saki is shown to be crushing on guys, while Mai didn't get as much development regarding romance, other than acting like a third wheel for Saki's endeavors. I don't recall Mai ever falling in love with a guy, in fact, you could say she was in love with Saki instead.
Similarly, in the original Futari wa, Nagisa was the one who got most of the romantic development. Hell, in Max Heart, Honoka barely got episodes focused on her while Nagisa had several where she tried to vie for Fuji-P. Should they be in OtonaPre, and although I don't want it to happen, Nagisa would probably end up with Fuji-P. It would be such a shame, because one of her traits in the original anime is that she's popular with the girls, even getting love letters from them. She exclaims how she'd rather be popular with the boys than girls, but in a later episode, she says that if Honoka was a boy, she'd be in love with her, which I think does a good job at hinting towards her closeted feelings. I really detest the trope where romance between girls is seen as a thing to "grow out of," like it's just a schoolgirl fad.
Regarding Honoka, they don't really give her much in hetero romance. There are like, three guys that I can think of that only maybe could be paired with her, barring another new man they invent. The first is Fuji-P's friend/teammate, Kimata, but he barely interacts with Honoka at all, and I would hate that, because it would feel like a "consolation prize" if Nagisa ended up with Fuji-P. The second is Kiriya, the former Dotsuku Zone denizen who infiltrated their school to try and defeat them, only to end up developing a strong bond with the sisterly Honoka, but I never really saw this as a budding romance, especially on Honoka's end. Plus, Kiriya basically dipped by the end of the original Futari wa, and didn't even show up in Max Heart, so it would just feel like an afterthought if they paired them together with that missing development. The third option is Nagisa's younger brother, Ryouta, who has a crush on Honoka, but, lmao, that's really just played as a joke.
In fact, I think the anime actually portrays Honoka as being mostly uninterested in boys, despite being popular with them. She rejects all of their advances, says that if she were to go out with a boy, there'd need to be mutual respect, which implies that she doesn't feel respected by them and thus doesn't even consider them. There's also the fact that she admires Nagisa's popularity with the girls, which I feel hints at something a bit more about her romantic desires. I could go on here, but I hope this gets my point across.
To sum it up, Saki ending up with a family while Mai doesn't would create such a disappointing incongruity for these two women who were very intertwined in the anime we watched them in. The same is true of Nagisa and Honoka should they also appear. I would rather none of them end up with any romantic conclusion (thus leaving it up to interpretation) whatsoever than only some of them having it.

Hello love your art đ©·
Ok question if reĂ and minako had a discussion who would apologize first ?
Idk why but I have this silly idea of reĂ and mina getting into an argument/discussion and reĂ just telling mina to get out or something and mina coming back after like 1 hour and making a dramatic Iâm sorryđ„ș,like reĂ opening the door and mina in the rain but in reality itâs usagi with a garde hose cuz she told her it would help for dramatic effect
Hello! Thank you! Hope youâre still around, this is yet another very old ask.
Your idea is very cute and Usagi would 100% do that for Mina.
With Reinako I think itâs very very dependent on what they are fighting about. Unlike Makoami, who I see fighting very very rarely, I think Rei and Mina fight on a pretty regular basis, but itâs almost never too serious, itâs just the nature of their characters and how they tend to play off one another, where if Mako and Ami fight, then itâs most often a very big deal.
If the reason for the fight is non-senshi related then most often I think Mina would be the reason the fight starts to begin with, but also sheâd be the one to reach forward and apologize first, even if it might not be 100% her fault. Given the nature of Rei stubbornness and lack of self-reflection, for her admitting sheâs wrong is no easy feat, and I think Mina understands this very well and takes the step to open herself to faults first so Rei feels more comfortable admitting possible wrongdoings from her part.
If the fight is senshi related then it gets way more complicated. Mina loves Rei, Iâm not saying she doesnât, but if Mina has to choose between the integrity of the team or her relationship with Rei, then sheâd end up breaking up with her quickly and I think Rei would do the same. This is a mutual understanding in their relationship.
Itâs a difficult line to ride, they have to keep these two âlivesâ separate, but at the same time they understand that they are essentially the same person as their lover. So I can honestly see them having disagreements as senshi, as leader and second in command, but their relationship as lovers remaining unchanged from their eyes. Itâs something I donât see any other member of the team outside of possibly Michiru in some circumstances.
So.. if they fight and the fight is senshi related I don't think there is going to be much apologizing most of the time. Maybe early on as the team is just starting and Mina still isnât fully into her own as leader and goes too far with Usagi, thatâs the easiest way I can see them fighting as senshi and Mina coming forth and apologizing.
All this said, does Rei ever apologize? Sometimes yes lol, but youâre not allowed to tell anyone.
#ask me stuff#Reinako#minako aino#rei hino#their relationship is so good you guys#But itâs also quite hard to write#Itâs not all cute fluff love like Makoami so nice and simple#The drama queens canât help but be dramatic#And complicated..#Very complicated

Idol Land PriPara 8
The episode opens with a very depressed and dramatic Mario strumming his guitar and asking himself why Amari has "changed".
He's approached by Gaaruru who was going for a walk to calm the bug in her stomach. She asks him if he's alone, and he says he's heard about her and insults her dancing/singing. To his surprise, Gaaruru has no reaction. "I'm used to it," she says.
So Mario runs off into the air, shooting at the yumeme thing in the sky thinking that all the kirakira inside is what's changed Amari.
I took this screenshot to complain about Amari looking at friend tickets, a feature that doesn't exist in the game, but I guess she's just looking at profiles. They released those new profile skins just in time, huh.
Amari arrives in Idol Land to find Gaaruru describing the previous night's events to Laala, Michiru, and Nino. Amari is also surprised Gaaruru isn't bothered by what Mario said to her, thinking about how depressed Amari herself gets whenever she fails.
The others worry that if Mario does destroy the thing in the sky, Yui may not be able to return to normal. So they resolve to bring her back before he does.
Laala asks Amari if she has any ideas. Thinking back to Non Sugar in the previous episode, Amari blurts out "Maybe we should butt heads." Nino runs with it, suggesting that they need a rivalry. Who is Yui's rival? Shuka! They need Shuka!
Right on cue, Galala and Mimiko appear and beg the others to help them make Shuka remember PriPara. Amari, Laala, Michiru, Nino, and Mimiko head to Avacado Academy.
Amari and Michiru are equally embarrassed to see each other's out of PriPara forms.
But despite Laala's rantings on the place where you can be an sparkling idol...
And Mimiko's impromptu concert on her bed...
Shuka has no interest.
As they chase after Shuka, they run into Yui as well, who barely recognizes her teammates and says she's not interested in chasing dreams like her brother and only wants to go to school and eat rice. Shuka agrees.
Reflecting on their failure and how much they miss their friends, everyone bursts into tears. Seeing this, Amari re-realizes that even though they are "super idols" to her, her friends are only elementary and middle schoolers after all. As the oldest, Amari steps up and promises she'll make Shuka remember... by tomorrow! "Leave it to me!"
After returning to her dorm to panic about making a promise she can't keep, Amari remembers Gaaruru and her strong will to not get depressed about her failures. She looks across the room to see the guitar she used to carry around in middle school to look cool (but never actually learned to play).
She fumbles over the strings, slowly but surely playing something that sounds vaguely like "Miss Prillionare".
"It's going to be a long night."
At one point she nearly gives up because she feels the others are her friends, and surely her friends will forgive her. But even so, after a swig of wasabi mayo, she decides she's going to keep trying anyway! (This is some interesting development for Amari!)
Back in PriPara, Galala desperately wants to leave to reach Shuka but Janice reminds her she can't. Paaku decides to take things into their own hands.
They enter Shuka's dream and leave her a mysterious box that will open when the time is right.
Meanwhile, Amari realizes it's morning and she's spent all night practicing. She questions if this is the first time she's stayed up all night, but then realizes she stayed up all night drawing Mario too. Back then, that was the only time she ever didn't feel "left out". She briefly questions if Mario "saved her" before denying it.
Everyone returns to Avocado Academy, where Amari tunes her guitar as Mimiko listens for Shuka. And so, they time it so that just as Shuka walks by, Amari is playing Miss Prillionaire on guitar. Shuka walks by, and... keeps walking.
And turns around, and walks back. And listens to the song.
Just as Amari breaks all her guitar strings.
And Shuka begins to sing.
The box in her dreams opens and all her memories come flooding back! IDOL TIME IS MONEY!
She embraces a crying Mimiko, and thanks Amari (who is still sporting bags under her eyes from her all-nighter) as they run to Idol Land. Amari reflects on how today she doesn't feel so left out.
And so, Evergold is reunited and Shuka's rivalry with Yui is reignited.
EVERGOLD!!!
New Rich Venus coords!?
And wait.... WAIT!!! What is THIS!! That's not the Rich Venus Yume Rare!? Is that a brand new team SCR or Yume Rare!!? Also, Shuka's is a different color!
And so, thanks to Evergold's performance Yui is now awakened... for six minutes at a time.
Progress.
Meanwhile in Danpri...
Mario catches Shinya off guard and steals his dreams, taking him to Yamipri where he's keeping all the other DanPri idols he's done the same to in hopes that eventually Amari will notice him... (What will Ushimitsu do now!?)
Okay so. Wow. WOW! ...What now haha.
Last month we got a lot of Non Sugar/Triangle themed stuff added to the game. So in theory we should get some new Evergold/Shuka stuff... but. Galala and Mimiko aren't currently in the game and the only song that even has Shuka singing on it at all that was on the Switch is Waku Waku O'Clock.
Not to say that I wouldn't love Waku Waku O'Clock in the game, but still...
Miss Prillionare.............
Or if they have to program a new song anyway, they might as well give us Evergold's new song? Who knows..... It will be interesting to see what happens next week.
I think the sad truth is that when they were at the planning stage for this episode of the anime, they didn't know the extent of inexperience their game developer had and probably were planning on being able to have more new content in the game by now... haha ha....
Well at least we'll get some Rich Venus coords. And it shouldn't be too much to ask for Galala to be added in, right?
