Whenever Mohammed (@ahmed0khalil) tells me about his situation , it breaks my heart. They are struggling so much financially that they have to borrow money to buy anything! And food in Gaza is so expensive right now. He used to be able to buy a kilo of small sardines for about 50 cents, but now they cost 30 dollars. They can no longer afford food. It's so bad that they are now using spoiled flour full of weevils to make food, because that's all they have!

The situation has become so bad that Mohammed keeps raising the possibility of him being killed lately. "If the Israeli planes kill me...", "if we are not killed by Israeli occupation fire we will be killed by hunger...", "I just hope I can evacuate my family before I get killed"... He is afraid that they will die from bombs, he is afraid that they will die from hunger. Mohammed is only 19 years old, so young, only a teenager! He just wants his family to survive! That shouldn't be too much to ask for!

Mohammed is only 19 years old but now he is responsible of getting enough funds so that his 5 siblings can survive. His brother Fathi is blind, his other brother Abdullah is autistic, and his youngest brother is only 6 years old. They are just children. Please, help them.

I'm making this post on behalf of Ahmed @ahmadresh2 . He has not asked me to but he messaged me the other day for help with his campaign and I cannot currently donate, so I will write to promote his fundraiser instead.

Ahmed is currently sick with hepatitis C from the poor conditions the IOF is forcing him to live under, and earlier today he messaged me terrified to say he was surrounded by tanks. He is safe now, but it was one of the scariest messages I've ever received. It honestly chilled me to my core.

Omar and I speak often, today he told me he wasn't able to afford a tent still, he is still sleeping in the rubble with his mom and younger sisters, one of them was injured in the bombing of their home and now has PTSD. Omar lowered the goal of the campaign, he lost hope of evacuating his entire family and is now just trying to afford shelter and the evacuation of this injured sister.

Hi everyone! I've been asked by Mohammad Ayesh (@ayeshjourney, previously @/moayesh) to share his family's gfm campaign. He is fundraising for his little brother Yasser, who is hard of hearing. Mohammed Ayesh is one of the vetters for @/gaza-evacuation-funds. He has dedicated so much time vetting fundraisers and helping other palestinians, but has received few donations for his own family's campaign. Please also help him out in his time of need!

Yasser is only 10 years old. He was born in the 2014 war, and the loud noise from the missiles and the bombings has robbed him of his ability to hear properly. To treat this condition, Yasser underwent a cochlear implant operation. The device that enables him to hear is battery-operated and has to be charged regularly. However, with the bombings and the destruction of power sources in Gaza, Yasser now goes for days without hearing because he is unable to charge the device. Israel has yet again rob this 10-year-old child's ability to hear.

This is also affecting Yasser's ability to speak! Because of his inability to hear, Yasser is struggling to pronounce words! Not being able to hear, struggling to speak, it is now very difficult for the child to communicate with others. Imagine living through a literal genocide not being able to express how you feel, nor hear your family's voice or their words of comfort! This would be hard for an adult, let alone a young child! Yasser is only 10 years old, this campaign barely has any donations, please show him more support!

Your donations will go towards repairing Yasser's hearing device, which is malfunctioning due to the heat, the sweat, and the harsh conditions. The funds will also ease the huge expense that is Yasser's speech therapy sessions, as well as helping the family rebuild!

Help Hashem afford shelter!

This is my friend Hashem @support-heshem (shown here with his son Nabil). Hashem has been trapped in the middle of a brutal genocide for over 400 days. Even more tragically, he was forcibly separated from his beloved family a year ago, when they evacuated and he was made to stay behind. You can read more about his experiences here, as well as on his blog.

Tragically, his tent (pictured below) was recently destroyed in a bombing and he now has no shelter! He and his extended family urgently need to raise enough money for three new tents, which will total about $3,600.

Was forced to evacuate by the IDF and was displaced numerous times. Currently live in poor conditions.

Mohammed's sister was shot in the thigh with a large bullet and underwent surgery. She hasn't fully recovered.

Aug 26: Tents were bombed and Mohammed's 7 year old nephew was injured.

The money is transferred to Mohammed once every few weeks, the next of which is on Sep 10. The Rafah crossing is expected to open in September. Please do not let this family miss their chance to leave.

Note: I do not often make posts for campaigns I am not focusing on, and I won't be updating this. I encourage others to adopt this campaign (because I can't right now) and make sure it gets the traction it needs.
