well the actual plot itself is way too convoluted and confusing to actually relay here (just like any true homestuck plot)

but the tumblr hs rpc runs blog-style so you have a lot of different universes in different temporal envelopes interacting! so my dave and dirk ended up befriending a condesce who's still very young and not totally warped by thousands of sweeps of politics and war

and my dirk specifically is post-canon but manages to avoid becoming ult dirk / killilng himself (its too long winded to go into) and wants to break that cycle so you shove a baby condesce in his face and make him think about things like "if she doesnt deserve a chance, then why do i" considering she's so young and just a cog in the LE machine

in this panel my dirk has been beat to shit off screen by ult dirk, the condesce is fighting off a possession and weakened from trying to heal dirk (life powers) and dave has swooped in last moment to save both of them

and the fun thing in this image to me is thousands of sweeps from now this is exactly what the condesce wants dave and his sword between her and an existential threat (obviously ult dirk at this moment, but check where the swords pointing)

Reema's an evacuated Palestinian studying pharmacy in Egypt, and this is what she's been going through for an entire month because she lost her laptop in Gaza.

If you cannot fathom the horror of surviving a genocide, then try relating to this: She's currently trying to study for multiple chemistry midterms on a phone. One of them is medicinal chemistry, which is considered even harder than organic chemistry (which I've heard is notoriously bad).

This is happening while her sister was very recently hospitalized and her family had to pay it off with funds from their budget. She's worried about her sister's condition, her family members still in Palestine, her uncertain financial state, and much more.

We can ease her stress a little by getting her a laptop to study with, and I'd like to get this done by Oct 20.

Every time the zionist project cruelly strikes Palestina I worry for Nedaa and her elderly parents. [Vetted here and here (No. 107)]

She doesn't post often and that also worries me too. Could be because she's at capacity trying to make sure her elderly parents are alright, or because there's a significant lack of e-sims available to Gazans. And that's just scratching the surface of the horrors.

Could you imagine losing your home, being sent on a death march to a zone you think is safe but ends up being bombed, and then taking your grandparents along with you while their medical needs go unmet?

But imagining isn't enough to help the people of Gaza. It's why they make GoFundMes and Tumblr blogs and why the present Palestinians on Tumblr have gone to such great lengths to vet these fundraisers.

All of this has been done to give them a chance of surviving the bombardment and war crimes and yet they STILL have trouble gaining traction.

So they'll get picked up by someone who wants to spotlight them. The post will have an eye catching graphic or some soft pastel art of the Palestinian they're signal boosting. But all I have are my words, and there are only so many ways I can say that the situation is dire. Nedaa and her elderly parents need money, and that the funds she so desperately needs aren't gonna come from anywhere else.
