jem freaked me out barking this late since she never barks and I've been reallyy paranoid at night for the last couple of weeks. which I blamed on weed at first but it's just every night -_+ checking window repetitive until the sun rises and it vanishes like I can't even imagine having been so scared. in tears before going to bed because my mom's boyfriend's footsteps made halo bark and I have a really bad feeling about him lately because the air feels really different right now like there's going to be something awful soon. but I texted my mom (hospital night shift) and she said jem only barks at animals and asked if babou was inside and I got worried enough to stop sitting against my door and check if she was okay and she was right outside my door. I felt relieved because jem and dill seemed happy and wanted to go outside so I let them out and they immediately chased a bunny out of the yard it really was just an animal 😑 so.stupid she does not need to be barking so scary at little animals jeez
