Fan Fiction Friday!

Ok, so I thought it would be fun to start up a regular Friday post for fic recommendations.

The idea is to recommend work by writers in the OFMD fandom (avoid self-recs please) - I mostly read Ed/Stede so that will be the focus of most of my recs but please make your own posts and recommend your own favourite pairings! Just tag ‘ofmd fanfic friday’

So my first rec is Aliens Like Us by Frawg_Spawn (Twitter)

This fic is a gorgeous modern meet-cute featuring Photographer!Ed and UFO Hunter!Stede. Very heart-felt and also very hot (these two are crazy for each other straight away and I’m here for it)

Rated E, 14k words. Part of a larger ‘Out of this World’ series which I highly recommend.

Next we have the curse of iphigenia (is an easily distracted god of the sea) by beloved @ghostalservice

This is an extremely fun fic based on that Time Bandits promo where we all saw Taika being a sea god and immediately shipped him with MerStede. Seriously this is just so much fun.

I also finally got round to reading Stranger on a Beach by one of my favourite writers zemph147 @gaypiratebrainrot

Set in the south of France and featuring cruising, public hookups and reckless endangerment of cave paintings, this fic is a beautiful journey of hot hot sex and self discovery.

ALEXZ MY BELOVED, where would this fandom be without you? You have such a gift, taking already gorgeous shots from the show and somehow making them even MORE stunning.
