Happy (early) holidays everyone!

I can't believe we're in November already! Thanksgiving is around the corner and Christmas is coming up next month! Made me really get into a festive mood.

In the spirit of sharing and giving, I'd like to introduce an online Secret Santa of sorts.

Please read the how to enter section before requesting.

Fic list

Info:

The event works the way a typical Secret Santa would. Each person participating will be writing one fic, but it will be for another person. I'm thinking 500 words minimum, no upper cap.

There will be a list that keeps track of who is joining. Each person that asks to join will give a brief description about the fic they want written (more info below)

People entering must be willing to write. You can't ask for a fic if you don't want to write one in return.

All genres are welcome, does not have to include smut if you don't want to.

How to enter/Deadlines:

Inbox or DM me saying you want to participate with a brief description of the story you'd like written. For example, a message to me would look like "Hey Ray, I want to take part in the Secret Santa. My fandom is JJK and I'd like it to feature Nanami. Maybe some cute fluffy romance between him and reader." OR "Hi Ray, I want to join Secret Santa. I'd like Xavier from LADS, with some angst or a slow burn. Smut is ok but no rough sex."

Once you inbox or DM I'll update a list with your story description.

The last date to ask to join is November 25th. This is because I need a final head count for participants to match up a secret Santa to everyone.

Once this deadline is reached, I'll run all the participants through a random generator which will match up who gets who. I'll obviously be matching up participants based on the fandoms asked.

I will reach out to each of you separately to tell you who you're writing for. Check the list for the story description.

Obviously, do not tell the person that you're writing for them until you're ready to post.

When posting your fic, use the hashtag "ncs secret santa" and "merry ficmas" and tag me as well as the person you wrote the fic for.

The deadline for the fic to be published is December 25th (gasp! Christmas? Who would have guessed?)

If you are unable to partcipate, please let me know immediately so that I can update the list because I don't want someone to not get a fic.

it doesn't quite look like a holiday party from here, but what I imagined as a humble little piece is~~ Ciel and Lizzy sneak away from the big bustling midford Christmas party and raid the kitchen desserts, like they did when they were kids(it was Lizzy's idea, Ciel clearly hasn't been himself since he returned, and she wanted to bring him back).

Kiss me under the Mistletoe~ The Outfits they are wearing are based on Evan Stanley's (@/Spiritsonic) Holiday Artworks. I changed Whisper's just a little though and gave her a Ribbon instead of the Hood. Wanted to draw her with a ribbon for so long now and this was the perfect opportunity for it. My Friend @somethingsonicrelated also took the chance and added a Ribbon to his Holiday Whisper’s Plush Project.  Check out his Blog or go through the RB’s and see for yourself! Hc that Luther let Maria keep her Christmas traditions when they got married, so Nicky grew up celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve and opening gifts at midnight and then doing stockings and a last gift Christmas day in the morning (because Luther still wanted to do some Christmas celebrating on Christmas day).

He continues this tradition when he takes in the twins. It's an adjustment for the twins, but despite Aaron's complaining and Andrew's non-reactions, they like actually celebrating Christmas without the tension and strain that's always been connected to it all their lives due to their upbrinings. They like having a tradition with someone who actually cares about them.

When they join the Foxes, everyone is too separated to be interested in having any kind of celebration together, but after Neil's freshman year, Nicky mentions their way of celebrating, and it intrigues everyone. They all agree to go along with this way of celebrating all together (it makes Nicky cry of joy). They fly Randy and Stephanie and Erik to South Carolina and decorate Abby's house inside and out and have the best Christmas celebration Nicky ever remembers having. He's never been so happy, surrounded by family, everyone happy and having a good time.

Nicky enjoys watching the Foxes deal with the struggle of having to wait until midnight to open presents for the first time. Aaron and Andrew are used to it now after a few years, so the three of them have a good time watching everyone impatiently start to count the minutes until midnight starting at 10:30pm.

When midnight hits, cheers loud enough to wake the whole neighborhood erupt from inside the house, and Wymack has to step in to keep the tree and the mound of presents under it from being demolished. He hands presents out one by one and smiles and laughter accompany the opening of all the presents.

When everything is passed out and opened, they take some time to have their last few desserts and conversations before calling it a night. Nicky cuddles on the couch with Erik and simply lets himself soak in the joy of being able to enjoy his traditions with his new family.
