I've said before that Cyprus is actually much bigger naturally than he usually is seen, but he mostly takes this size when he's in the water. He's not as used to it above water, but he and Lucy were trying to be more honest with each other to avoid further miscommunications.

He was already crushing on her, but think he may have fallen a little bit in love with her after this lol I think he gets in deeper than he intended to for sure.

I've been having fun exploring his character more tho and finding that despite his in control and confident exterior, he gets quite bashful and shy when vulnerable~

I was more focused on drawing things out than writing the dialogue this time and only had a little bit. But the main idea is that Cyprus is confessing his feelings for Lucy but feels bad that she still has feelings for Jayce and doesn't want to get in the way of that, even tho they're broken up at the time, but uhh…. Lucy notifying that she also has two hands and likes both of them. It's new to her, but she's leaving it open atm and wants to see how things go with Jayce still since this is when they broke things off for a bit…

Cyprus is very happy that it's even an option and was open to it before so this is kind of a dream come true for him!

Ok ok, so you know how often Link is portrayed as a silent protagonist?

What if merman! Link couldn't speak, and instead mostly communicates throigh whalesong-like vocalizations? Or perhaps he *can* talk but only underwater, and above the surface he can breathe but his vocal chords don't work in air?
