There are times when "speculating" is a useful tool. If I see certain energies happening then it's natural I'm going to speculate about what's going on, and what that means for me.

But speculation isn't fact. And speculation presented as fact is dangerous and intellectually dishonest. Sometimes you just have to admit you don't know, or don't have enough information to accurately know.

And that is the teaching of today's trine between Mercury in Sagittarius and the North Node in Aries. This is a trine between two fire signs, and when fire gets out of control is consumes and destroys. So is the case with incomplete information and strictly theoretical analysis. venus biquintile pluto is a really interesting aspect. the biquintile is usually associated with creativity and the development of artistic ability, and with venus being involved, there is even more potential and a genuine love for art. the native will find happiness and connection through their creative pursuits. with pluto on the other end of the aspect, something interesting happens. there can be a tendency towards obsession; they are more dedicated and more patient, with a strong work ethic and a desire to find meaning through their art, and it can bring them real catharsis. they may discover and nurture repressed parts of themselves through their art, and overall, there is a bit of a darker theme to this otherwise light and bright placement.

This New Moon solar eclipse in Libra is also a South Node eclipse. And along with the Moon and Sun conjoining in their exactness 🌚 just 4° from the South Node, Black Moon Lilith is in exact conjunction with them, and Mercury🗣️ is joining the close-knit party too!

This may bring the beginnings of a new chapter, through confronting the past. Communication, and perhaps communication that involves you standing up for yourself (Lilith), could be relevant topics.

There is also a grand trine🔺in the sky now between Venus in Scorpio, Mars in Cancer, and Saturn in Pisces. This suggests to me a couple different possibilities for harmonization of Venus and Mars, within a long term scope of greater security🪐. It could involve harmonizing your own “feminine” and “masculine” (or yin and yang) energies. Or it could suggest this occurring within a relationship.

The eclipse is square to Mars, and as it’s also exactly conjunct Black Moon Lilith, this does honestly make me think of scenarios where women may experience getting the upper hand, or taking their power back in some way.

There’s some intense activation of energies in the atmosphere now! I subscribe to the view that eclipses are gonna eclipse, no matter how you try to resist or control things, and that they can actually force change in some cases. Having awareness of the astrological climate in the case of an eclipse, including where it falls in your own chart, can help you keep your eyes open in the appropriate areas for developments or insight/intuition that may come. The quote on today's graphic comes from Ruth, a dear old woman who for all intents and purposes was my Grandmother. In many ways she was a simple woman who did all kinds of things to uncomplicate her life. In true Capricorn fashion, she tended to things that needed tending to, and ignored things that would derail her from getting things done.

She was a serious woman, and between her and my Mother, I learned the value of being serious about your life. And while fun, frivolity and just goofing off have their place, and are necessary, there are days when you just need to be more serious about your circumstances and your future.
