Pluto conjunct natal Mercury-Uranus-Neptune

Pluto has been transiting my natal Mercury, Uranus, and Neptune since 2020. As of 2023, it is moving away from natal Neptune and towards natal Uranus and Mercury.

Neptune in Capricorn 26 degrees in 5th house [natal]

Uranus in Aquarius 2 degrees in 6th house [natal]

Mercury in Aquarius 3 degrees in 6th house[natal]

When Pluto was close to my Neptune, I happened to start or end a creative endeavor. Or, something about the event was Neptunian/Piscean in nature.

Going into 2023, there is a shift from Neptunian events to more Uranian and Mercurial ones.

Notice that until 2023, the events are creativity (Neptune) and hobby (5th house) related. Starting from 2023, my Mercury-Uranus in 6th house conjunction is getting more attention. My sudden job change and the nature of that job are examples of this.

LIST OF EVENTS WHEN PLUTO TRANSITED NATAL MERCURY-URANUS-NEPTUNE:

2020

5/12/20 - First day of working out regularly by following YouTube videos. I was working out every day for almost 2 hours. I had NEVER worked out before this. For several months after, I was obsessed with working out; it was therapeutic to me.

6/6/20 - First day of UX/UI design online course

2021

3/23/21 - I made a journal entry this day that I was seriously thinking of going into animation and coding.

6/6/21 - Last day of UX/UI design online course

6/7/21 - The day after, I started my first day of 3D animation class. Pluto is EXACTLY conjunct my natal Neptune on this day.

6/23/21 - I attempted a no-fish-and-seafood diet ❌🐟🦀❌ after watching a documentary about our negative impact on the ecosystem due to overfishing and overconsumption of fish/seafood. Failed, but I really tried.

2022

3/16/22 - Hit with a major internal crisis. Issues from the past came back, and I didn't know where I was headed in life. Felt very uncertain about what I was doing in life.

3/29/22 - Last day of 3D animation class.

6/20/22 - The day I started my Tumblr blog littledigest. Pluto was also opposite natal asteroid Educatio (2440); seems appropriate as I am giving my experiences and take on astrology through this blog.

7/10/22 - The day I reached 100 followers on Tumblr

8/7/22 - I visited a local psychic fair with my mom and sister. 🔮 We've never gone out of our way to go to anything like this before.

10/3/22 - I learned how to use a sewing machine. Making clothes was something that I had been DREAMING about for so long. Did I continue? No, but I'm sure I'll go back to it someday.

11/22/22 - Introduced to a job position that seemed completely out of my league. I wasn't even job searching, but this landed on my lap out of nowhere. Had nothing to do with the job I was doing at the time.

12/12/22 - I got a call back that I got the job. Found out I will be earning a lot more than in my previous job 🤑. Pluto was also square natal asteroid Destinn (6583). Don't know if this job is my DESTINY, but interesting...Maybe I'm on the right path?

2023

1/6/23 - Last day of old job; got a new haircut in the city after work. 💇‍♀️ Realized this was the first time I went to get a haircut on my own IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Prob not significant to you, but it was bonkers to me. How have I never gotten a haircut on my own before?

1/9/23 - First day of my new job. Transit Uranus is conjunct my natal midheaven too. I'm no longer 100% remote; I have to go into the office; my whole routine has changed. This new job of mine is an admin position but for a technology department. [Uranian]

2/8/23 - Met with superior. Afterward, manager tells me superior wants me to work with them on data work. My work becomes less about admin duties. [Mercurial/Uranian]

2/18/23 - Played a gambling card game with my family for the first time and won. Pluto also square natal asteroid Las Vegas (82332). Not Vegas but won some money 💵. [Neptunian/Uranian]

2/26/23 - started this Long Game project on littledigest. Pluto also inconjunct natal asteroid Discovery (9770). I hope this project uncovers something special! [Mercurial/Uranian/Neptunian]

Energy Update: February 2023

February is a "9" universal month [2 (February) + 7 (2023) = 9] in a "7" universal year. The number 9 represents transitions and endings - it encapsulates the idea that "what comes around, goes around": as we finish something, we prepare ourselves to start something new. Nine is a reminder that we need to let go of what no longer serves us to make room for the new. This numerological energy is somewhat out of alignment with the astrological energy of February which is all about (finally) accessing forward progress as we have no planets in retrograde motion for the next three months. This is an indication that for many of us, the work to release the past isn't quite done yet.

The Set Up

We begin the month with our Sun and Saturn in Aquarius, Mercury playing catch-up in Capricorn along with Pluto, Venus and Neptune in Pisces, Mars playing catch-up in Gemini, Jupiter in Aries, and Uranus in Taurus. By the end of the month, the Sun will have moved into Pisces, Mercury into Aquarius, and Venus into Aries. All planets will be in direct motion all month long.

The Nitty Gritty February is going to start out with a bang that may or may not seem fun to you depending on what is going on in your life and how you process conflict. The full moon in Leo will reach its peak on Sunday 2/5 so it may feel a bit like the week of 1/30-2/5 just keeps building and building. There's sure to be a lot of tension in the air. All of the four days prior have intense pricky aspects in play that will all weave together to be brought to a head by egotistical Leo. I say this with all of the fondness in the world (I am a cat lover after all). But anybody who has even met a Leo should know that the Leo full moon of the year is the mooniest of all the moons, or, at least, that's what they would like you to believe. This is the kind of moon that might make you want to throw a party but, to be sure, it's also the kind that will make you want to cry if you want to. Though the Sun sextiles Chiron exactly on 2/1, the Wounded Healer will be very much in play all week long which means that all of our long-standing wounds will be lying close to the surface. Additionally, people aren't going to be getting along - Venus in Pisces will be square to Mars in Gemini whose still caught in his own post-retrograde shadow.

Somebody's not telling the truth.

That part is probably okay; Venus in Pisces lives for the lies and Mars in Gemini wants to see how much he can get away with. Despite the square, these two signs are not that dissimilar from one another. The conflict is a ruse but it's unlikely that anybody will realize that they are fighting about nothing.

Additionally, the Sun and Moon will make a t-square to Uranus who is sitting in the middle of Taurus. This is a week to fuck around and find out - Venus is also sextile to our North Node and the north node plus lunar energy will reactivate our eclipse energy. When we experienced our last set of eclipses, the Sun and Moon were in aspect with Uranus just like the Sun and Moon will be square to Uranus now. Things are going to be volatile.

All bets are off. Some people's lives will be changed. If you don't want that to be you, lay low during the first week of February leading into this upcoming full moon. But if you are ready to go: Go. Just remember to duck and watch your back, Uranus in Taurus is a natural disaster waiting to happen. This Sun-Moon-Uranus t-square is going to activate that Saturn-Uranus square energy that we experienced four times in 2021 and 2022. There's still a lot of energy pent up from the vice that Saturn square Uranus had our world in. Now, finally, it can move forward. Saturn is now far away from Uranus (almost out of Aquarius altogether, that'll happen in March) and we have three months ahead of us with every planet in our solar system in forward motion.

The time is now. (it always is but it really really is, I promise) If the first week of February was about the full moon and our out-of-season eclipse energy, the second week is all about Mercury who is lagging far behind the Sun and Venus as it finishes off its post-retrograde shadow in Capricorn. On Monday 2/6, Mercury will sextile Neptune in Pisces for the third and final time before exiting its shadow on 2/7 and finally meeting up in conjunction with Pluto on Friday 2/10. This is a reunion of old friends- 2022 began with both Mercury and Venus retrograde in a butterfly pattern around Pluto in Capricorn. Whatever has happened since that first Mercury retrograde of 2022, its cycle completes now. Mercury enters Aquarius on Saturday, 2/11. Planetary ingresses always tend to shift energy but this change will likely be even more palpable than normal. Expect people to get chattier for a week as both the Sun and Mercury share the same sign but the sun moves on into Pisces on Saturday 1/18. The third week of February looks to be a bit challenging as the Sun meets up with Saturn in late Aquarius, Venus meets up with Neptune in Pisces, and Mercury activates the lunar nodes. There's a reconning to be had here, but Venus in Pisces has a delicate temperament and may not want to look at the truth. Beware of putting your head in the sand to avoid seeing the truth. Mercury is playing well in sextile to Jupiter so things could work out for you, but you will need to go in with eyes wide open.

This is a week when you may need to pay the piper, whatever that means for you. The new moon on Monday 2/20 shows that the waters of Pisces are going to rise fast. There's pain in the air (Mercury sextile Chiron) but Venus is blazing on ahead into Aries and still not looking. This moon is going to be moody AF. Bring some tissues or maybe a mop. Everybody's gonna get wet. Tuesday 2/21 is a good day for pathworking or trying to beat the odds as Mercury in Aquarius squares off against Uranus in Taurus. Well, a good day if you like a game of chance, anyway. Good luck is not guaranteed. Sometimes that's the point. The rest of the week is soft and squishy as it always is when only the moon makes aspects with the personal planets. Don't expect to get a lot done this week, or perhaps, not a lot done easily. The Sun will make a sextile to the North node on Saturday 2/25, it could be a hint of what's to come if you are open to that sort of possibility. The end of February just fades away like a dream that you can't quite remember.

Weekly Forecasts: 10/23/23

BIG week ahead for the week of October 23rd! We have a Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on Saturday, Oct 28th at 1:24 PM PST. This will be the final eclipse in the Taurus-Scorpio axis, closing a period that started in November 2021. Think about where you were, what you were doing, and how did you feel during that first set of eclipses?

Monday 10/23

Monday starts off with some direct tension in our relationships and emotions. Venus is Virgo @ 13° is making an sesquisquare to Pluto in Capricorn @ 27° may bring up some external conflicts. You will have to check where Virgo and Capricorn sit in your chart for tips on where the friction may come from. For example, if you have Virgo in your 6H (daily habits/routine/work) that means Capricorn is in your 10H (career & reputation). The external friction may come from your work and career. Are you finding it full-filling? Are you wanting to leave? Sesquisquares bring up annoyances that can often be easily pushed aside, but if you confront them, growth can happen. Pluto in 27° of Capricorn makes me think that a conversation will be had (27°=gemini degree). Maybe you’ll have a conversation with your siblings or even do some small distance traveling. Venus, a personal placement deals with our partnerships (romantic, personal, business). Be mindful of the conversations you start today.

The Moon in Aquarius @ 21° is squaring Uranus Rx in Taurus @ 21° may bring some pressure to work on an issue. As we get closer to the eclipse we are going to be put in positions to help bring about any necessary change the areas (houses) that will be impacted. You’re looking for some stability in change. What can you do to ground yourself? What action can you take to bring stability? This is a tight square where both planets ate @21° a Sagittarius. Are you desiring to be free? Do you feel trapped? If so, by what?

We do have one ‘easy’ transits on this day, which is Sun in Scorpio @ 0° making a trine to Saturn in Pisces @ 0°. Think of this as iff the energies or Scorpio and Pisces being one. The energies are working together. Scorpio is a fixed sign that needs to feel secure (stable), whereas Pisces is a mutable sign keen to being adaptable and going either direction. What responsibilities do you have? They may be easier to adhere to during this transit. What lessons have you recently learn, and can now incorporate in your life? What should you be concentrating on? This transit will be here till Tuesday

Wednesday 10/25

The Moon in Pisces @ 20° makes a sesquisquare to Mercury in Scorpio @ 5°. You may have to conversation with an authority figure dealing with deep topics or having a deep conversation. Some secrets make be uncovered, with Moon in Pisces @ 20° (Scorpio degree). Are you worried about something coming to light? Whatever is bothering you may be an accumulation of behavior.

Use of steel/iron make escalate in the coming weeks as the Sun, Mars, and Mercury move through Scorpio. Eyeing occupied Palestine and the use of weapons used by Israeli settlers. The price of steel may change as western forces demand more military aid. Additionally, as world powers try to switch to greener options, the current use of steel and iron may change.

Another transit in the sky for Wednesday is Moon sextile to Uranus in Taurus @ 21° giving opportunity for growth without the tension. Think of these energies cooperating with one another. You might be more inclined to take slightly rebellious action (Uranus) based on how you are feeling (Moon). Now, moving based on how you feel is not inherently bad or antithesis to logic. Be deliberate with your action as you will have the energy necessary to resolve issues.

Thursday 10/26

As we move into Thursday we will have Mars in Scorpio @ 9° sesqisquare with Neptune in Pisces @ 25°. Your energy may be low. Neptune will sit in the 3H of intellect, siblings, and communication. The 3H is ruled by Gemini, which is ruled by Mercury. As Neptune in Pisces sits in this house new communication or new way of thinking may be establish with it being in 25° (Aries degree=cardinal). Mars @ 9° in the 10H is signaling some are breaking away or shaking up their career and reputation. Think unorthodox and unconventional. The 9° is a Sagittarius degree, the half man half horce. The horse desire to run and be free, whereas half man understands responsibilities and conformity.

An external conflict that you’d rather push to the side may rise. Sesquiquadrate highlight repeated conflicts we have yet too or refuse to address. What tension between different ideas are you having? Taking action (Mars in Scorpio) vs day dreaming (Neptune in Pisces). Face it, but be intentional. This is an opportunity for growth. You might be hyper suspicious of others and vice versa because of this transit, and with Mars being Scorpio. Pisces is a mutable sign meaning it is adaptable (fish swimming). Scorpio is a fixed sign trying to find stable ground (Scorpion). As we lead up to the Lunar Partial Eclipse, what direction do you want to go? This transit will remain in the sky till Friday.

Friday 10/27

Jupiter in Taurus @ 11° opposite to Mars in Scorpio @ 10°. Check in with your family, particular a mother or woman figure in your life. The Mars is more calculated with it being @ 10° (Capricorn degree). I like to think of Capricorn has playing the long game, they know what they want, and like to planTaurus is ruled by Venus, and in this transit, Venus is in the 9H, which is ruled by Jupiter the planet of law & religion. My first thought is ‘justice for women and children.’ Events from your childhood are coming full circle with Jupiter in 4H. Of course with it at 11° these opportunities will come about through unconventional ways, maybe through attention or spotlight since Venus is @ 17°.

Saturday 10/28

See Lunar Partial Eclipse for full analysis. In short, we are ending a two year long cycle that started in November 2021. Wherever Taurus sits in your chart will be impacted. Try to think about where you were at the start of this Taurus-Scorpio axis cycle. Where are you now? What have you learned in the last two years? What lessons will you now incorporate in your life?

Sunday 10/29

On Friday we had Mars opposite Jupiter, and today we have Mercury in Scorpio @ 12° opposite Jupiter in Taurus @ 11°. This is the time to think big picture. New information is going to flow in and help you make a decision. Be open to changing your mind. Oppositions are about finding balance. As you seek financial security because of childhood trauma (4H) in one hand will you obsess over material possession or fame (10H)? Communicate with intention.

After the Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn, the planet of communication will finally change signs on February 11th, 2023, and will remain there until March 2nd, 2021. Mercury in Aquarius will inspire many Air and Fire signs, pushing them to get out of their comfort zone, while Earth and Water signs will be prompted to reflect. Collectively, this transit continues the remaining themes of the current Saturn in Aquarius transit. We will look ahead with solid plans and goals, since Mercury and Saturn are in the same sign. It might feel like we could get an impulsive push thanks to Mars, but we will know when to slow down and take things one day at a time.

Sorry if you have to squint or zoom in to see, spirit had a lot to say. These are the principle energies of April 2022 and the messages coming from them. Some messages may be lingering from the Winter Season, which means the assignment didn’t change just because the energy did. Spring is going to go by much faster than Winter 2022! Don’t miss out, plant your seeds! We ALL have an individual part to play to advance the whole. I didn’t speak on the remaining #Capricorn energy because its fading away quickly! Mars & Saturn are the last planets lingering in Capricorn. Soon those two will be changing to Aquarius! But remember all the things Capricorn has shown you and handle yourself and your situations with #MATURITY

MAY 2022 :

I am left speechless by April. Entering May, Spirit had little to offer me as a channeled message for the energies of this month. Remember just because the energy changed, doesn’t mean the assignments did 🤷🏻‍♀️. That’s not how this stuff works. However, just as April was the completion of our collective & individual “shifts”… May is pushing us to embrace the change welcomed or not. We have a Mercury RX in Sidereal Taurus that snuck up on us real fast and quiet! This RX started April 25th when Mercury entered its shadow & the sign of Sidereal Taurus simultaneously. This entire month, MRX is in Sidereal Taurus and will not be over until the 1st week in June. Amongst that we also have a second eclipse - Sidereal Scorpio Full Moon Eclipse, the last of the TaurusxScorpio Eclipse series from 2021. I didn’t even notice this until I looked at my Sidereal calendar for May… I was actually shocked! BUCKLE THE FUCK UP 😵 SPRING 2022 IS SNATCHING WIGS & HAIRLINES. Keep in mind Saturn has been in its shadow for a few months preparing for its RX in newly entered Sidereal Aquarius. Jupiter also enters its shadow in Sidereal Pisces tomorrow. For the past few months we’ve been shifting around and now we gotta let it all settle. Above are the energies dominating this month & Per usual, opposing forces you can tap into if something is becoming “too much” for you. Notice how as things start to heat up towards Summer, its our job to bring in those cooler energies.

JUNE 2022 :

Spring 2022 was a powerful season with lots of uncomfortable, but game changing moments 💖 Summer is only going to build on top of that! This first few weeks of June are a crossroads into the next season. Not much has changed in the messaging from transits happening in the following zodiac signs, but here’s some minor changes and reminders as we kick off June! There will ALWAYS be a challenge , its simply about how you handle it!

Nodal Return

14 May 2003

Super unsurprisingly, my north node is in the ninth house of philosophy. This was a time when I was really worried about faith - I was in the process of leaving Christianity. Lilith conjunct midheaven in Taurus is fun - I was creating really weird obscure fiction and things.

23 November 2004

Moon conjunct the sun in the 2nd house - I generally take my second house to be about moral values, so this seems strong

Pluto is still conjunct Uranus - which is an appropriate conjuncton for a time when I was getting deeply into the occult. By this stage I was working in a Buddhist shop, out of school, out of Christianity.

19 June 2006

The North Node leaves nodal return in the fifth house of pleasure, at a time when I'm drinking more than I should. A little while after this I kind of stop taking magic so seriously, I also start smoking.

The north node is conjunct natal Uranus in the 11th house - I feel like I've found my tribe.

The Pluto-Uranus conjunction will remain a factor in my fact until 2010, by which time I've cut my hair, I'm taking a Library MA and I'm trying hard not to think about the occult or act unusual in any way.

I got my first professional job in a university 2011 and by 2012 I was coming up to my first Fresher's period. I was doing well and getting the hang of the pace of professional life. My nodal reverse begins with my north node in the 10th house and a lot of activity in the 4th house - Natal Venus conjunct IC, south node conjunct Lilith, Venus in the 7th house conjunct my natal descendant. It was an intense time in my home life - the era when I cried every weekend

A key date for me - I did NaNoWriMo. It was the first time in years that I had done something for me. I made friends and started to feel like myself again. Mercury, the Sun, and North Node conjunct in the 3rd house is pretty telling of a key writing experience

21 March 2014

North node exact over the south node. I was starting to write a lot more - Neptune in the 3rd house trine Pluto and sextile natal Neptune. North Node in the 11th House - I was finding my people again.

10 October 2015

The South Node time was a time of having friends for the first time in a while, and a kind of sense of self. I wasn't just writing, I was creating something other people could enjoy. I was making friends based on writing and roleplaying. At this stage, I'm planning to move away. Mercury is conjunct my north node moving into virgo in the 5th house as I start to write a ridiculously mathematical story that's the first thing I wrote to go down really well.

22 December 2021

Start of my second nodal return - I had a new job and a chaotic time in my life was finally over. Pluto squares the nodes for the first half of my nodal transit - Pluto was a big part of my last transit and this is a time to struggle with lessons not completely learned in the last nodal return.

My second nodal return started with Pluto and Venus conjunct my ascendant. A time for a bit of beauty and cam. And the North Node in the 6th house conjunct my IC. After a difficult year, this was the start of a quiet, enjoyable, Christmas holiday.

My North node return in a few months off and will happen in the 1st house with Jupiter and Uranus also in the first house.

My ascendent will be conjunct my natal sun in the 2nd house and there's a nice triangle between the ascendent, my natal Uranus (at the 9th house), and Venus in the 5th house. It could be an interesting time to reconnect with the more emotional and subconscious elements of my life.

End of the nodal return. The North Node leaves Aries in the 5th House, near to Neptune and Venus. Pluto, the Moon and Mercury conjunct in the 3rd house in Aquarius close by the ascendant makes me think this could be a good time to communicate about dreams, the occult and the subconscious. I guess we'll have to see.

I am not good at astrology yet. There's a lot I could focus on that I haven't. I think what this gives me is a mission to reconnect with the good things about my life in my last nodal return - art, caring about my surroundings, having a very strong spiritual side

August 2021 Important Dates

AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast’s August Forecast. Dates are based on US Mountain Time (Daylight savings-- UTC-6) and may be a day earlier in the Eastern Hemisphere.

We’re entering this month right on the tail of Jupiter regressing back into Aquarius on July 28th, where he’ll remain for basically the rest of the year before finally going direct again in the fall and re-entering Pisces in December. While we’ve been feeling some optimism, we’ll be seeing a return to Saturnian themes for the remainder of the year. Chris describes Jupiter’s ingress into Pisces before a retrograde as a kind of “skipped step”--there’s some unfinished business in Aquarius (& with Saturn) that we’ll have to revisit.

We’re also moving away from the fixed sign tensions--Mars has just moved into Virgo today (July 29th), away from the Saturn-Uranus square, which is itself separating as Saturn continues retrograding through Aquarius. Jupiter’s regress into the same sign may help to soften the Saturnian struggles even though the benefic Jupiter is no longer in domicile.

August 1st - Sun Conjunct Mercury This will also be exactly opposite Saturn, meaning Saturn is exactly halfway through its retrograde and will station direct ~70 days later. This also means that Mercury is very far away from earth--literally broadening the scope of our thoughts. This configuration indicates a moment of critical insight or clarity, especially with whatever Saturn’s trek through Aquarius has been bringing up for you (look at the house which contains Aquarius in your own chart for a starting point). It’s a good time for slow, methodical reflection on the Aquarius tensions before Mercury races through the next sign.

August 8th - New Moon in Leo This is at ~16° Leo, and is within 2° of a square to Uranus, the challenger, in Taurus (who’s is slowing down in preparation for a retrograde later this month). The lunation is also opposite Saturn by sign, so we will still be dealing with structure (Saturn) and challenges to it (Uranus): do we need to rebuild from the ground up, or modify what we have already? Are our new structures holding up through the chaos? Uranus has just trined its ruler Venus, so this could be a more beneficial or productive set of changes.

August 9th - Venus Opposite Neptune (not pictured) This may be a good time to experience the healing power of vegging out. Venus is frenetic in Virgo but Neptune, hanging out in her exaltation, encourages us to indulge in some illusions like watching TV. Venus-Neptune contacts are also good times for the arts and other dreamy pursuits.

August 11th - Mercury enters Virgo Mercury will be joining Mars in this sign (exact at 12° Virgo on August 18th), as well as Venus, who’s on her way out. Mercury-Mars conjunctions can make our words harsh and combative, getting us into situations where we’re trying way too hard make someone else accept every single reason why they’re wrong, so watch your words. However Mercury is dignified and therefore running the show, so we may be able to apply this energy towards productive, intense analysis and editing. It’s a great time to cut things down, like editors who can take a director’s rambling creative ideas and trim them down into a successful film. What kind of cutting is constructive, and what is destructive?

August 16th - Venus enters Libra Venus makes a trine to Saturn as she reaches 8° Libra on the 23rd, and with Jupiter approaching Saturn from the other side, it’s a soothing position for the malefic. We can focus on the elegant, design aspects of structure in our lives. Say your affirmations--it’s gonna be okay!

August 19th - Uranus stations Retrograde in Taurus We’re about halfway through Uranus’s trek through the sign, indicating some more pressure on any placements in the middle degrees of fixed signs. Some of the broader implications of this may be changes in the food industry and new technologies being applied to food, as well as world events relating to banks and the land.

August 22nd - Full Moon in Aquarius; Sun enters Virgo This will be our second Full Moon in Aquarius during Leo season, which is a bit of a rare occurrence. The last Full Moon (July 23rd) was conjunct Saturn, and this upcoming one will be conjunct Jupiter and trine a dignified Venus. Issues in Aquarius will come to light again, but more positively than during the lunation in July. We identified the problems in the last Full Moon, and we have the solutions during this one. Isn’t it nice to work on improving things and enjoy the results?

Immediately after the lunation, Virgo season starts: back to work! Virgo is “internally and eternally busy.”

August 20th - Mercury enters Libra He’s moving pretty fast as he enters this sign, at which point he stops rooming with Mars and starts visiting Venus instead. Our conversations with other people will be more harmonious, and this may be a good time for doing research. Mercury & Mars in Virgo was an abrasive configuration, scouring away the tarnish to get to the core of something. Now we’ve got the grace and diplomacy to proceed with what has been revealed.

We've got some pretty big transits happening this week.

Today (Tuesday 1/23), Venus enters our cardinal earth sign of Capricorn. She's finally starting to catch up to some of the gang after her retrograde over the Summer. That now puts all of our personal planets in either Capricorn or Aquarius, our two signs that are ruled by the planet Saturn. Expect our emotional wells and relationships to dry out for a hot minute as neither Capricorn nor Aquarius is what one might call "emotional". On Thursday afternoon (EST), we have our monthly full moon at 05° Leo. During this lunation, the Sun (in conjunction with Pluto) and Moon will form a fixed t-square with Jupiter in Taurus, and Mars and Mercury will be tightly conjunct with one another in Capricorn while square to Chiron in Aries. Things luck both painful and unlucky - lie low and avoid unnecessary conflicts if you can. Saturday will pack a lot of energy. To start with Uranus will station direct at 19° Taurus which officially ends Retrograde Season for the next couple of months. This will be a mirror of last Saturday's energy when the Sun and Pluto entered Aquarius in step with one another. Additionally, Mercury meets up in exact conjunction with Mars at 17° Capricorn which is a great day to put energy into Mercurial pursuits of all kinds. The Sun will directly square Jupiter as well, so things may get a bit dicey. This constant fluctuation between Capricorn/Saturn and Aquarius/Uranus activation may have a very stop/start/STOP/START feeling to it. It's worth remembering that no matter how much control we would like to have over our lives (Saturn) some things are beyond us (Uranus).

We've been here recently. 2021 was dominated by a major square between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus. What was coming up for you during that time? Did you resolve that conflict? If not, it may arise again this week for reevaluation.

Energy Update: January 2024

January is a "9" month [1 (January) + 8 (2+0+2+4=8) = 9] in an "8" year. Though we are on the edge of something new - both represented by some of the astrological transits of the month and the beginning of a new year - we still have some stuff to wrap up before we can truly move onwards. A lot has changed since the beginning of 2020 - everything really, if you want to look at it that way. As our lives slowly bend and adapt to the changes that have been wrought in the world, we still have to live in it.

Numerologically, 9 is our last number as each multi-digit number gets added back together again. In this way we know that February is a 10/1 month: 2 (February) + 8 (2023) = 10 = 1+0 = 1. February is not the beginning, but February is a beginning. Now we just need to get there.

The Details

We begin January with the Sun and Pluto in Capricorn, retrograde Mercury and Mars in Sagittarius, Venus in Scorpio, Jupiter and retrograde Uranus in Taurus, and Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. This is an unusual alignment of planets and worth noting here. We know that the Sun, Mercury, and Venus travel together but right now they are being joined by both Mars and Pluto as they cross over Sagittarius and Capricorn this season. Additionally, our other planets are congregated together as well in Taurus and Pisces. It's also worth noting that all of this (/crazyhandwaving) began four years ago when all of our planets except for Uranus and Neptune were in the sign of Capricorn.

This month the last of our planets from this 2020 transit, Pluto, finally leaves Capricorn for good. This is one of the big gong crashes that denotes time. Pluto will remain in Aquarius until 2043.

Additionally, our Sun enters the sign of Aquarius, and Mercury, Venus, and Mars will enter the sign of Capricorn. January also marks the end of retrograde season for the next four months as Mercury and Uranus station direct.

The Nitty Gritty

January begins with a bang as Jupiter stations direct on 12/31/23 and Mercury stations direct on 1/1/24. This is a great omen for both January and 2024 as a whole as the first day of the month/year will set the stage for the energy of the time ahead. All signs point to "go" as we only have one single planet left in retrograde (Uranus). Uranus also stations direct this month (on 1/27); we will not experience another planetary retrograde until April.

That said, many of us are still carrying some of the weight of our pasts and it may be hindering our progress. As mentioned above, January is a "9" month of endings that will lead to February being a "10/1" month of beginnings. In this way, January can be seen as a series of releases that can help to unburden us of the things that we do not need to bring with us into the future we see ahead. This process may be triggering for some, especially those who are lost in the past or unduly holding onto something that has passed its expiration date.

The big release dates to watch out for include: 1/1 when Mercury stations direction, 1/4 when Mars enters Capricorn, 1/11 our new moon in Capricorn, 1/13 when Mercury enters Capricorn, 1/20 when BOTH the Sun and Uranus enter Aquarius, 1/23 when Venus enters Capricorn, and 1/27 when Uranus stations direct.

Any of the above dates can be used magically to speed this change along if you are so inclined. Each of these days may be a relief or triggering depending on your life circumstances and general personality. Stay prepared and aware.

There are also a few days of the month where life may seem to "help" you along on this release process, whether you wish it to or not. As our personal planets move through the sign of Capricorn, each will make a cardinal t-square with our lunar nodes of fate (in Aries and Capricorn). Each of these transits will carry with it some of the energy of eclipse season. Some doors may open during this time and some will inevitably close. When the lunar nodes are involved we sometimes find that it is too late to make certain choices, but also that new and interesting choices have become available to us. Our Sun will form a t-square with the nodes on 1/10, Mercury will on 1/28, and Mars will on 1/30. In February, Venus will form one final t-square to complete this process.

For transits like these there is one simple piece of advice: don't hold on too tightly. With our North Node in Aries, we are being asked to stand up for ourselves and that often means letting go of prior conditioning from our childhood or society that keeps us small and forces us into conformity. This can trigger a lot of deep-seated defenses and unhealthy coping mechanisms from our past. The big flex is to name it and bring it into the light rather than letting these things control or destroy us. If you have Aries or Libra in the 12th house this may be especially difficult for you, but this makes this work especially important.

Chiron, also sitting in Aries, shows us that being our unique selves can be quite a painful process. Each of our personal planets will also square off with the Wounded Healer during this time and each of these dates (Sun square Chiron on 1/6, Mars square Chiron on 1/25, and Mercury square Chiron on 1/28 plus Venus in February) is another chance to reexamine our core wounding surrounding standing out versus fitting in. This shit leads deep back into our childhoods and often is the center of our deepest fears. If you are into shadow work, these topics will likely prove especially fruitful during these times. A word to the wise about Chiron: the way out of the pain is always through examining it and learning to understand and create adaptive strategies for management and mitigation. Many people who have Chiron highlighted in their natal birth chart find that healing "out loud" helps them to deal with and make sense of more ouchy moments like these.

In this way, the month may feel very cyclical. You see a way forward and grab for it. It's painful beyond what was expected as it sparks deep wounds. From there the work is to transcend and release the wounds. Rinse and repeat.

It's certainly not work for the faint of heart. But that's not a surprise, we're in Capricorn season - a sign known for almost being compelled to work. This isn't the summer work of planting seeds, tending, and bringing them to harvest. This is the winter work of reexamination and reclamation. Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is sitting in a supportive sextile in Pisces to help us along in this process but it WILL be work. The big flex all month is to keep moving, to keep putting one foot in front of the other, and to keep on keepin' on. With some many chances, you CAN get it right.

Our two lunar events for the month are a new moon at 20° Capricorn on 1/11 and a full moon at 05° Leo on 1/25.

The new moon will be more supercharged as 1/11 is 111 reflecting an influx of 1/new beginnings energy which will also be in close square to our lunar nodes. If you do not set intentions for the year on 1/1, 1/11 will be another strong time to do so. The new moon's numerology is 2/2 [2 (10 Capricorn Sun + 10 Capricorn Moon = 2), and 2 (2 Capricorn new moon + 9 January = 11 = 2] which shows that it is a powerful day for creation and togetherness.

Our full moon in Leo carries the energy of 7/7 [7 (11 Aquarius Sun + 5 Leo Moon = 16 = 7) and 7 (7 Aquarius full moon + 9 January = 16 = 7]. 7 is the number of spirituality and is generally associated with intuition and inner understandings of all kinds. This is a great day to divine on your journey through January and will aid in any magic designed to align you with where your path is leading you.

If you're looking for a day to do money magic or other prosperity work in January, Friday 1/12 is your day when Mars in Capricorn is in exact trine with Jupiter in Taurus. Work that earth money magic - Capricorn is seeing to their future and Taurus loves the finer things in life. This is a big luxury day - this is a day to treat yo' self even if you're not doing any magic. But do that money magic if you've got it - earthy trines like this don't come around every day.

I see two days to watch out for during the month.

On Saturday, 1/20, the Sun meets up in its yearly conjunction with our planet of death and transformation, Pluto and they both enter the sign of Aquarius in lockstep with one another. This is a big change of the guard and it's likely to be reflected both in the outer world at large and in our personal lives. Pluto has been in the sign of Capricorn for more than a decade and its force has been slowly eroding our outdated systems of government and bureaucracy. Now, it shifts its gaze to Aquarius where it will remain until 2043.

Pluto moves on a glacial scale so we shouldn't expect to see the effects of its ingress initially but what we should expect to see is the fallout of what has been left behind. Given the planet and its namesake, I use the term fallout very intentionally here. Capricorn rules the governing systems of our lives; in truth, it rules all things that are contractual like government bodies, businesses, and even marriage. Anything that requires signing a contract is in some way controlled by Saturn and Capricorn as Saturn's emissary in this world. Pluto has been shaking up these systems for quite some time and not all of them will survive the release that comes as our dwarf planet finally exits the scene.

Sometimes you don't know how bad the disaster is until it's over and the dust has settled. I would expect to see governmental shutdowns, businesses failing or entering bankruptcy, and the dissolution of marriages as the energy slowly begins to shift away from Capricorn and into Aquarius. In this sense, any structures that are held on by a thread will be most at risk through the beginning of the year. If this is you and it impacts your life specifically, I will guide you back to the words above: Don't Hold on too tight.

Sometimes things need to fall apart. Sometimes you can't pick up the pieces.

The second day of interest is 1/29 when Mars in Capricorn meets up in trine with Uranus in Taurus. I have found that it is best to keep an eye on when these two planets meet, regardless of the aspect that they make with one another. Mars is our planet of action and war and Uranus rules the unexpected disaster. This is Tower weather; it is best to do less and avoid any overt dangers if you can. It's a day to stay away from explosives of all kinds. Uranus in Taurus is especially eruption-prone, make of that what you will. We are nearing the end of Uranus's transit of Taurus (something that we should be very grateful for) but it's not over until it's over.

January is the cosmic right time to put in the work to better your life. January is the cosmic right time to take accountability for where you are the problem. January is the cosmic right time to let that shit go so that when February rolls around, you are ready.

2022 a new year for astrologers. In this post I’m guiding you guys through all of the astrological events that’ll be happening through the new year in January. You’ll find out which rising signs are blessed with money, which ones are lucky in love and etc. Enjoy reading lovelies 🤍

Astrological events that started in 2021 that will stay for a period of time in 2022:

Venus is in rx in the sign of Capricorn and Jupiter has entered Pisces on 12/28/21

Rising signs most affected by these transits are: Capricorn, Cancer, Pisces and Virgo rising

2022 is the best for:

Cardinal placements (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) + 2 fixed placements Leo and Scorpio

Glow up in January:

Taurus, Pisces and Capricorn placements

Could find love in January:

Mercury in Aquarius Jan 2

Mercury will be in the sign of Aquarius until Jan 25th and then it will go rx in the sign of Capricorn. While this Mercury in rx transit is happening we will have it be conjunct Venus in Capricorn rx sextile the Jupiter in Pisces transit.

When Mercury is conjunct Venus this can lead to overthinking a lot + especially because both planets will be in rx. It is important to build trust during this period and work on your maturity! Signs most affected by this will be Capricorn, Cancer, Virgo and Aquarius risings.

Capricorn rising - This is happening in your 1st house, the house of yourself and your life path. You will be rethinking many things that have happened to you in the past. Expect compliments to flow to you easily though! Work on self love.

Cancer rising - These transits are happening in your 7th house of partnership and business. You can expect to be blessed with abundance but make sure you don’t spend recklessly. Jupiter in Pisces will be square the North Node in Gemini. When Jupiter is square North node you may feel very unlucky ur stuck in a place you try to escape with all of your power. This won’t be as bad as it sounds like though because certain rising signs will have a great opportunity to manifest whatever they wish for and others will be gifted with a new lesson that won’t hurt them but will teach them something.
