Now on my “What god would be Tim Drake’s parent” agenda… Mercury.

I made a post a couple days ago saying that Tim Drake would a 100% be Roman and I still stand by it. But do you remember that video that says “your demigod parent is not who you think it would be, is who do you think your parent would be able to pull”. Well… Janet and Jack’s whole thing is being travelers; they go all around the world and they were really successful on their business. And it is like, Mercury’s whole thing, Travelers, Commerce and THIEVES. Those mf digged thing that did NOT belong to them in any legal or spiritual way.

It was a crazy threesome that night on Rome, tho.

Also! If you guys follow the TIM DRAKE FOLLOWED THE BATS WITH A CAMERA then it is more obvious! Like! That would be VERY difficult if not bc his father is literally living for it, he even visits sometimes on the rooftop disguising himself as random people, but Timmy is hella smart, that boy has been eating myth books up since he was like 5, he always knew who his father was and he always knew who those men on the rooftops were. He also knew when they WEREN’T his dad.

Tim also has one sided beef with Wonder Woman bc “jeez is always the Greeks messing everything up, our world was supposed to be a secret!!!”

He also went to Camp Jupiter as a kid before his parent decided he had to come back to Gotham to learn how to lead the company. And when he becomes Robin he tries really hard to not fight to kill, and hopes Bruce never notices.

Bruce obviously noticed, but he was so far into depression that he simply didn’t care, eventually that style wore off and he simply forgot about it. Until one day they’re fighting two girls who had been killing people and drinking their blood , that Tim just takes a weird looking sword from his pocket and kills the girl, who just… puffs into golden glitter?

Alright, I'm back and doing better after recent events. And making a comeback to the picture also means showing off our boy Hermes Mercury for Drawing 9. I must say this, but Steampunk Hermes was way more popular than I first realized. I had to ensure I didn't accidentally copy someone else without realizing it, resulting in me going back to make changes. Other than ancient statues and art and Disney's Hermes concept art being the inspiration, I took inspiration from 1820s postmen art depictions. Hermes is in his business and casual suit since he's only running around in a jacket if it's freezing. For his character, he is married but doesn't have a wedding ring. The reason is the origin story of the Roman household god twins, the Lares, regarding their mother, Larunda.

To summarize that story, Larunda is not on Jupiter's good side because he's not a good guy, resulting in Hermes and Larunda going on a crazy Rom-Com road trip. I read different versions of the myth, but in this story, Hermes and Larunda eloped and had twins. All this made Jupiter Zeus angry, and he didn't want to view the marriage as official as the other gods and goddesses do, becoming that Just No FIL. And now Hermes Mercury is being overworked to be on his father's good side.

Anyway, that is out of the way. This may not be his final design, but I'll keep him like this for now. Next, the original mean girl, Aphrodite Venus!

Now that the Elder Fairy is finally in-game, even with Cotton-Sherbet treatment, I can finally post these silly sketches I did since Beast Yeast just released. I added Mercurial Knight recently lol.

I have never been an athletic gymbro track student whatever a day of my goddamn life and yet I have always been strong as fuck.

Not fast, or coordinated, or fit, or with good endurance, just super dense muscle for no reason.

Like. My WHOLE life.

People used to try and pick me up as a toddler only to drop me cause I was unexpectedly heavy. At summer camp I could pick up ten-foot logs and carry them around on my shoulder while other kids needed a partner to help them. I can lift my 195lb brother off the ground. I can lift my 200lb father off the ground. I don't have a car so when I buy new furniture I often carry it home myself.

And I am NOT IN SHAPE. I can sprint, but im a terrible runner. I can't do push ups. Or burpees. It takes me like 50 minutes to run a 5k. I'm very lazy and spend most of my free time reading, painting, or thrift shopping.

But in anticipation of surgery I have begun lifting weights and yall. YALL. MY BICEPS CAME BACK IN A WEEK

Jupiter is the rain that waters your plants and soothes you with its sound as you sleep. He's also the great storms and power that rain has and we must address through climate change care

Minerva is wisdom. You find her when learning something new about anything on the internet; when your elders teach you an old recipe or a way to do a craft; when you study for an exam and pass; She's also there when you struggle with your studies or can't wrap your head around a topic.

Mercury is there when you buy or sell something; when you find a new gig that allows you to get through the week; when you finally have enough for that thing you wanted. He's also there when you struggle with finances and when you help a friend in need.

Mercury is there when you study a new language; when you can't quite comprehend grammar classes; when you crack a joke; when you travel or go on a road trip, the whole road there is Mercury

The gods are always all around us, they are these things we interact with everyday
