Who else should he ask? Oh, yes, the gay schoolmates. Not the generically queer ones, though - they're doing it for "clout".

It's 2024, for heaven's sake! Come out already! It's not as bad as the 90s!

Is this really what we want to say? That struggling with one's sexual orientation is a non-issue by now? Seriously?

English Teacher, it's right there in the job description. Teacher.

Out on a Limb in Lirnketh

Seeking shelter from the dangers of the everwood, a group of foresters decided to take shelter in the boughs of a grove of titanic trees. What started as a simple shelter grew over generations into a precariously perched village that provides an essential stop off for any travellers or wagon trains passing through the primeval forest.

Adventure Hooks:

The party are tasked with delivering an important missive in the depths of winter, and are driven to take shelter in Lirnketh when the weather turns. Forced to wait out the storm or risk going astray or worse yet freezing, the party has a moment to warm up, meditate on their mission, and enjoy some cider.

Hippogriff racing is a beloved pastime in the everwood, a tradition which originates with the the local woodelf clans who used the beasts to aid in their hunts. One of their greatest trainers has taken retirement in Lirnketh, and might be willing to teach the party's resident cavalier some tricks if they manage to prove themselves to the gruff old man.

A merchant caravan has gone missing after being attacked on the road. The few survivors who made it back to civilization speak of a strange, towering figure watching them from the trees, and fret that the caravan master somehow gave offence to one of the innumerable forest gods. Investigation finds a scattering of the hired guards and wagoners frozen where they stood, their cargo ripped open and spilled over the forest floor; food, furs, and jewellery discarded in a search for something yet more precious.

Further Adventures:

The Strange creature that haunts the paths around Lirnketh is known by some as the Gelid Huntsman, was crafted from a bough of an iceladen tree by an archfey for the single minded purpose of retrieving a lost necklace, driving it to attack any who cross its path dressed in finery or boasting too loudly (as the merchant did) of their riches.

The necklace was stolen when a mundane crow caught sight of the archfey on their way to a grand fairyland ball and took fancy to the shine around their neck.

Because nothing can ever be simple with the fey, the necklace is cursed, its beauty both hypnotic and corrosive, honed to eat away at the vision those who look upon it with envy. The necklace is also slightly alive, containing the essence of the archfey’s defeated lover/rival, who is desperate not to return to captivity and is far from innocent.

Through the crow, the necklace has found its way into the hands of some bandits, and is slowly making its way up to their leader through a chain of smeagol-one ring style betrayals. 

This leaves the party with a dilemma,  keep the necklace for its bewitching power and be pursued by the Gelid Hunter, release the vengeful spirit within, or give the necklace back to its sinister maker and earn themselves an ominous gift in thanks.

despite not feeling like illario should be a parent or mentor figure to absolutely anyone at all. and of course lots of media has done "unhappy mentor to a young child that ends up getting attached". but have we all considered the idea of illario finding a fledgling that's been tossed aside or had their house stripped from them, sees his failure reflected back at him . right . and before he knows what he's doing and against his better judgement and his arrogance and his pride, illario brings them into house dellamorte. to start it's just to piss off caterina. give it about a month and he'll start projecting his own desire to succeed and since he can't rise above his own humiliation then this fledgling HAS to. and then he gets attached. and then during particularly gruelling and horrible crow training, illario reminds himself of caterina. right then and there he would have to decide if he can stomach turning into her, or if he can finally begin to understand the unconditional love that lucanis has always felt towards him

Based on this post and Librarian series cos I can totally see Buck be a fellow Librarian 👀👀

AU where The greatest thief in the world and Librarian Ezekiel Jones aka Albert Han didn't expect to find a baby librarian when he went to see his estranged baby brother but he's gonna drag Evan 'Buck' Buckley back to the Library with him and brag to Stone and Cassie how he found the next generation first, muhahahahahaha

Buck is not sure why do he believe Albert (70% because of the idea of magic is real and a library is full of all the knowledge in the world and his wanderlust senses are being triggered while 30% is bewildered and flustered everytime Albert smiles that mischievous smile at him) but he thinks he's gonna enjoy whatever happens next

Featuring Tommy as a potential Guardian, 118 Firefam who are running around looking for Buck and Albert who forgot to tell them they're off for an adventure and exasperated Jenkins who wants the Librarians to stop bringing home strays, yes, even if those strays are potential librarian, people, have you not learnt after what happened last time with Apep and DOSA?!!

Captain Marianna and Zosimo

Captain Marianna Perola de Fantasma is an older veteran pirate who has been in the business for a good many years and has a reputation for being laid-back and fun loving, but you would not want to be on her bad side, she did not get this far as a Pirate by being a big huggable pushover. She dislikes unnecessary acts of violence and cruelty, and is generally honest and honorable with a side of trickery and mischief. She usually won't open lie (though she has no qualms with doing so if necessary) but will withhold information tactically finding it more fun to trick pokemon with the technical truth. She tends to use her calm and friendly demeanor to negotiate her way through problems, and if her charm doesn't work then negotiations always go better with some good drinks and lots of food, however her jolly carefree demeanor ends immediately to those who threaten anyone under her protection.

In her youth she was considerably more of a spitfire; she took a great many risks chasing after treasure and lost some things along the way, but her Solosis buddy Zosimo has helped her recover and covers for some of her losses forming new limbs from the goo that surrounds their body. He'd be her right-hand mon if he weren't actually her left hand. Zosimo does not do a lot of talking, at least not in any language that anybody comprehends except for Marianna who understands him perfectly. Probably because of Telepathy. They also have other unique psionic abilities not because of Zosimo's own psychic powers but because of their combined abilities allowing them to do things like alter luck in their favor and pull off uncanny maneuvers.

the current one i have is the amount of pure garbage i see in character tags, in particular, the "villains" or what i like to prefer calling the antagonists. i just want to see content of my fav in peace but no, i have see weird ass fanart/fics/headcanons about my favorite character being a r*pist, p*edo, or inc*st stuff because people in the fandom tag it in the character name. i don't mind hate, everyone's entitled to their opinion but goodness, i just want to NOT see weird stuff about my favorites for once but it just comes with the territory i guess *le sigh*

So I think I totally get the vibes you're going for, but honestly the speaker of the song like...values themself too much? There's too much resolve and independence there for me to consider it an MK song, if that makes sense. There are aspects of it that I totally get (like "And how can you learn what's never shown?" and "Wanna hold on and feel I belong" are lines I totally find applicable to MK) but overall the pov is someone who wants to challenge the world around them in a way that MK just doesn't.
