Mental Fortitude in childhood
As children, we don’t know whether we have mental fortitude, because we don’t always know what it is, but it is necessary for success.
When you can focus and execute solutions in the face of adversity or uncertainty, you have mental fortitude. It is the determining factor between those who are successful and those who aren’t. It’s the difference between those who talk about achieving success and those who persevere to meet with success.
Around those who have become successful mental fortitude is at the top of the list. With mental fortitude you’re not easily thrown off guard when things go awry, or things don’t go your way. We can all have mental fortitude.
Although it’s easier to have grown up with mental fortitude, it can be applied at any point to your life, although it is to your advantage if you start it early. Mental fortitude is something you build, something that should be continually worked at. It means you’re unwilling to give up on your struggles, to achieve your goals.
It is a discipline that is built on good habits and consistency. As you develop good habits, you may change your mindset and continue to build mental fortitude. It is self-control.
