Leo transmasc headcanon

(many things are based on my own experience. Especially the dysphoria related things (so when i talk about Leo not being a real boy it is what he thinks bc of dysphoria. It’s not true.))

it was so obvious even when he was small. He always wanted to play with boys, wear boys clothes, ect… His mom was fine with it. She bought him boys toys and clothes and even sometimes called him hijo. She was a bit confused, but she knew it made her child happy and it's all that mattered. 

However, it didn’t go that well with his foster homes. However much he tried, they always stuck to his deadname and she/her. That was a big part of the reason he kept running away. 

There really is no story behind the name Leo. He picked that one bc it sounded cool. 

Once he got a good enough passing, he did everything he could so ppl will assume he’s cis.

Don’t ask me how he gots his hands on hrt. It’s a long and weird story.

The wilderness school was very strict about not mixing girls and boys in dorms. 

Piper was his roommate, that’s how they met. 

In their memories created by Hera, Jason has kinda always known he’s trans. So Leo never bothered to hide it from Jason (as he does with others).

But Jason doesn’t have much (any) education on transidentity… At first he assumed Leo was a cis guy, and then some things were a bit confusing (why was he in fem dorms ? Why does he wear a tank top under his shirt ? Did he just ask Piper for a tampon???) but he just kinda gave up on trying to understand, bc Leo is a nice guy anyways. And with time (and exterior knowledge on the matter) he started to put the pieces together and to understand that “ooh ok that makes sense". 

Otherwise. Leo has no desire to get out of his comfortable closet. 

He has such a fragile masculinity 

Sometimes he acts a little bit macho. He’s aware he’s acting like an asshole but he’s terrified of being perceived as feminine. 

Why does he try to flirt with every girl he sees ? Another attempt to pass better (and comfort himself in his fragile masculinity) by copying stereotypical boys' things.

He overbind so much, GODS. Man will wear his binder for 11h straight (while fighting and running around) and then have the audacity to complain that his body hurts.

Piper tries very hard to remind him to take proper breaks. 

Jason is the biggest gender envy ever. He is handsome, tall, muscular… Leo really loves him but he also is so jealous and envious. 

He is very envious of other boys in general. 

When Percy got woken up in the middle of the night and left his cabin shirtless. When Frank went to take a break in the men’s restroom…

Gods, he would do anything to just be a normal boy. To be like them. To have their bodies. To not have to destroy his body to look slightly more masculine. To not have this constant fear that they’re gonna find out. 

And to add to the reasons why he felt so much like the 7th wheel : Among the 7 there are 3 girls, 3 boys… And Leo. Forever inbetween. Not a girl, but not a boy like the others either. 

Fortunately, with time he learnt to accept himself better and to feel more comfortable with others. 

Piper helped him to go easier on himself. And he had an actual proper talk with Jason.

The first person he actually came out to was probably Annabeth, bc she’s cool and wise and nice. 

And then he saw it actually was ok. She didn’t treat him any differently, she didn’t tell anyone else. She was cool with it.

He then told Frank and Hazel, with Piper’s help (mostly to explain to Hazel all those new terms). And it also went very great ! He then also told Percy and Nico. 

He’s not entirely out, just to his closest friends and his siblings at camp. And it’s enough. 

He still overbinds, but he has ppl to (discreetly) remind him to take care of himself. He’s still very dysphoric but his loved ones know how to remind him that he is their brother, an amazing boy.

Since I'm writing it I think the atsutodo dynamic is only good when it has three main characteristics

- Todomatsu is the Dom + top

- Atsushi has avoidant attachment

- they're both bisexual and repressed

Otherwise it's very bland and boring to me. While I like stuff where Atsushi is chasing Totty, I also think that Todomatsu wouldn't necessarily be any different than how Atsushi treats women. In the brief interactiona we see of Atsushi, he uses his stuff in order to flirt (bribes), but also isn't really able to hold a conversation with them afterwards. He's also lonely, histrionic (THAT SUICIDE SHITAHDJAJSJ) and wasn't even particularly overwhelmed with emotions like Sachi or Aida (w/e one) ran up to him

I would say it's bc he has no trouble attracting ppl (neither does Totty tbh, Totty gets numbers a lot and has a whole cast of female friends who enjoy his company even tho they started out flirty) but instead maintaining those connections. We see Atsushi go thru a few girls throughout the series and like Totty none of those relationships really progress far. Like my man's gets to level 2 and then game overs.

I think it's bc Atsushi is emotionally unavailable, and preoccupied with reliving his high school days (a reach ik) but has fallen out with the majority of his previous friends specifically bc they demanded too much of him.

I think the reason why Totty gets to stick around is bc Todomatsus unwilling to stop using Atsushi, the familiarity of their long term friendship, and also bc when girls aren't around he does enjoy Atsushi's company a lot. And Atsushi values that he knows Todomatsu doesn't really like him, therefore has no emotional demands that can't be exchanged for bribes (women who've dumped him, coworkers, social status thru affiliation)

I also just don't see Todomatsu being topped by anyone ik that I'm the CEO of Dom top Totty but I can't imagine that he'd be okay with Atsushi of all ppl getting in his hole. I think Todomatsu would be like - vaguely homophobic too, like the sorta guy who thinks lesbians are hot and every man's flirting with him but he's not gay. The urge to write days off as sunk-cost past a certain time is strong. Mixed-type ADD things. Generally annoyed at myself and ppl not responding to my emails, home life is tense as usual, my mother and I are bonding over my father being an Emotionally Immature “Parent” and her being an Adult Child from a young age. There is a vacation coming up and I know I will be expected to perform relaxation properly or my father will get mad. Learning to set boundaries. The semester consists of spinning plates on drill-bits, and this is different but not by much. It is more like dancing on broken bottles and being scorned for any wound light touches.

I got coffee with one the other day bc I’m based like that. We were part of a mutual friend group of deranged children growing up. We try not to dwell on it, but some of the things that come up put it in perspective how crazy it all was. She studies music and talks about interesting stuff, thinks I’m funny and interesting (which I am.) IDK! We might date; I would like for her to have more excuses to visit Pittsburgh since she misses it-- went to Pitt for a semester but our music program sux ass and also finacial rzns.

I am bad at developing crushes over the internet, but infatuations come and go. I have some degree of love for anyone I find fascinating, or who finds me interesting and I them.

Akiva is pretty but we might be stuck in talking-phase purgatory. None of the guys I’ve had a crush on have been the ones I’ve hooked up with bc I’m self-sabotaging like that -_- but Gabriel was rly pretty. We had an audio storytelling class together and were recording sipping and page turning foley in the library. and he said that he had... what was it. not an oral fixation thats something difference. like, a thing for mouth noises? WHILE I was mixing my coffee-sipping in Audition and he was listening. which was definitely hitting on me. as much as I adore flirting I’m kind of demure and scared esp. with men sometimes. as much as I adore flirting I constantly fear I’m predatory, or too inconsistent, or that it’s unfair to lead someone on when I’m who I am, or generally other anxiety-borne excuses. Love is, in some cases, action despite reservation. I have trouble trusting my instincts and when I was in active addiction I had trouble letting ppl close BC it felt unfair to them. Like, “who could want me when I’m like this?” Kinda stuff. So I sealed myself off, which was a mistake. Oh well!

so we had a power outage yesterday night and today's morning so i spent and absurd amount of time writting for this tiktok prompt that was saying how we’re all worried whether or not we could pull our anime crushes when we should be thinking whether or not our anime crushes could pull us

Okay but Iwaizumi could probably mmm okay if I were a second year and i had a crush on him i would probably ignore him? Like not ignore per se but probably would not even think he could like me, not bc im unlovable or anything (i think im pretty awesome) but bc i mean, I'm not even in his radar. Like in HS i was that student who despised sports except volleyball bc it was fun!! So maybe we befriend by me coming to the volleyball team to ask the coach if i can borrow a ball to play with my friends and the coach at firs was like 😐 so i go ☺️ and give him my student ID so he can be sure i will comeback and not steal his ball and if something happens he knows my info and he agrees!! So i go play with my friends and when i comeback the coach is not there anymore it's just Oikawa and Iwaizumi so i greet them and ask them where should i put the ball and they are like _oh, its you_ so i go ☺️☺️ yes its me! Thank them and i ask them for ny ID and Iwa gives it back so "Thanks iwaizumi san!" And go back my merry way and it becomes a ritual everyother day i come ask for the ball and return it to Iwa and one Friday we are having an event of sorts so all third years we have the day off classes and instead we have activities to do as a group and I go back to ask the couch for the ball but it's only Iwa so i ask him if he wants to play! He agrees and its funny bc hes still taller than me and some friends but we have fun! We get closer after that and we start greeting each other in the hall and maybe i even start going to see the team practice more often and its weird bc I'm next to Oikawas fangirls and i don't understand the hype? But its better than be alone and i always leave before they notice me until one day i lose track of time and i stay till the end of practice and Iwa sees me with bunch of oikawa's fangirls and I oblivious greet him and I'm flustered bc oh no what if he thinks im creepy but when i go down and tell him how he was doing great he goes ?? I thought you were watching oikawa? Why would I watch him when there's you? And we both realize what i just said so i yeet myself out bc thats embarrassing ❣️ and the next time he sees me he askes me why i did that and i just laugh and change the subject, its fun being friends with him. So if he told me he liked me i would be too shocked?? So I wouldn't be too sure to accept his confession but i would probably agree to hang out just the two of us, bc i would be interested but knowing myself i would eithrr be too conscious to accept or to eager so idk

BUT if we are talking about time skip! iwa the thoughts are the same like, if i do end up working in journalism or anything similar and idk let's say i end up working in sport news or something i probs would say _hi!_ to him or something and be friendly bc you always have to be nice even more so to the people you interview lmao so idk we end up as friends but he never asks me out bc i don't even process he might like me, sorry iwa chan. Oh boy do I have been thinking hhhhh like you see the thing is with atsumu im pretty sure we would be like strangers to enemies to lovers I'm so sure of it. Like if he were my upperclassmen i would silently hate him and if we were in the same year i would straight out dispise him and roll eyes and be like 😐😐 why are you so cocky??? Like yeah hes actually very handsome and talented but ??? Hes soooo cocky around his fans like who does he think he is??? Idk I've always hated men lol So its most likely I would have banter around him in class like idk its my turn to speak in class he audibly yawns or coughs to interrumpt me so i accidentally forget to tell him to bring his USB for next day presentation bc schedule changed or when labs suddenly changed and we aree having chem lab and i remind everyone but it slips my mind to remind him stuff like that and one day we get paired up for math bc i suck and he doesn't suck as much so we have to work together and im trying to keep this stern vibe but he's joking around with Suna in the other table and I'm just losing my mind bc i need to pass and i ask him to kindly help me before i lose my mind so he kinda shifts like _sorry i know grades are important to you_ andf i go 👁️👁️ bc _...thanks_ and he ends up actually working so maybe he isn't as bad after all and maybe just maybe we can be friends.

So yeah i think after befriending him and seeing how he's not that bad i kinda do fall for him, but i would try to keep my "friends vibe" and be like everything is okay until one day its sports day or whatever and the volleyball team is playing against another good school and this is our last match as third years in a school event and everyone knows the Miya twins are Amazing and they are excited but i talk to atsumu in the changing rooms and just wish him good luck and i run back to the stairs bc that went awkward so the game begins and everyone is cheering bc we are winning but the other school wins the second set and now the third keeps us on our toes but of course everyone is giving their all and when finally atsumu sets osamu the final pass we win and everyone is screaming in excitement and us third years who where on the public go running towards them and we are all celebrating and I immediately go hug atsumu bc !!! We won and he hugs me back bc !!! We won!!! But then i realize we are too close and i get nervous again so try to move but he doesn't let me and 👉🏽👈🏽 i look at him and he looks at me and maybr something happens i don't know

Kuroo would be too cocky to even pull me like with how i was in Highschool i would have most likely think he was playing around or too himbo for my liking bc yeah hes nice and all but?
