Back in Gotham

I'm back ~~ and boy did I forget how gloomy this place is

There are a few things in Gotham that I would happily admit as something I would miss:

Gotham University for one. The Psych Department really is just the best, especially with the amount of research and materials we have access to. Not to mention, first-hand accounts!

Watching out the window at night. We don't really tend to see the Flashes when they do their crime-fighting, just the end part (or when they're running an eat-all-you-can place to the ground)

Uhh.. I can't think of another thing I'd miss. I mean. I'd say seeing the Waynes, but the only one I ever see is that caffeine addict

.... I forgot why I made this list in the first place.

Hey, everyone! So, I’m back with another post after a little break. I know, I know—my online presence is spotty at best (But I'm deffo still alive! The tap water hasn't gotten to me yet 🤣)

Anyway, I’ve been juggling classes and work so it's a little hard to find time to post sometimes.

Now updates:

• Mr. Cute Neighbor (no name for his privacy) and I are .... dating but not? Idk long distance is hard 😭 send tips please

• I've started seeing Ms. Quinn for our monthly sessions (she's still helping me with my classes - though I had to stay away for 2 months during that time she was back with Joker again. He's soooo bad for her - and NOT in a romance novel kind of bad. As in BAD BAD)

Anyways! Who else was affected by 'turf war' (it's cringe but that's what the Gazette called it) with Penguin and Riddler? Honestly! If they're having some kind of lover's spat keep the rest of us out of it 😮‍💨😢 They had to close the Batburger round the corner from my dorm cos of it!!

Honestly, I think there's something in the water? I've had classmates telling me not to drink the tap water and classmates that say its perfectly safe

I tried it out of curiosity and the truth is, it does taste different (I didn't even realise water could taste ... Not water). I didn't feel anything different though so I've kinda gotten used to drinking the tap whenever I forget to buy the filtered stuff (it's also cheaper for a student to just not buy 😭😭)

HC that the average life expectancy in Gotham is actually four years higher than the national average because they collectively just keep refusing to die

I met Miss Quinn once.

Once being a two week 'trip'.

She told me to 'find another course or move to another town' after I told her I moved to Gotham U's Psychology Department.

Which was pretty weird considering that she was the one who pulled me into a van, while I was on my way to the library.

Good News: I got help and advice on writing my research report

Bad News: I missed 2 weeks of school and work

Harley Quinn and Red Hood out on the town

Harley Quinn and Red Hood were seen at several bars over the last few days, drinking until one of them, usually Harley Quinn, blacked out.

Mod Rusty, who was at one of these bars, asked what they were doing and was told by Harley Quinn, quote, "We're b****ing about the Joker and the Bat. [Red Hood] ain't legal but he's the best drinking partner I've had since Brucie dropped out."

This is fascinating gossip and we're sure this is going to cause tabloids for weeks.
