Visited the ruins of our homeland (r/196). Never again. It’s devolving into just another shitposting sub, slurs and intolerance seeping through the walls we once called home. There’s still fragments of our past, but those are all but the echoes of our joy before judgement day. There are still friends thriving, but it seems they, too, will lose this battle against the rapidly worsening conditions, as did we. Glory to Spronkus.

Set shortly before and during the French Revolution, the story stars two protagonists, Charles Sanson, the eldest son of the infamous executioner family, and his youngest sister, Marie Sanson.

Charles wants to impress his father and earn his respect, to prove he isn't a weakling afraid to take up the mantle as head of the family

Marie could care less about traditional values and constantly fights against the social norms placed upon her.
