I mean, sure if that's your thing, but that's not what the point of this post is. the rainbowed hair, blood, and eyes are cool and all but I need something a little less pretty bifrost glow-up and a little more I-got-turned-into-an-eldritch-monstrosity-and-can't-go-out-in-public-anymore.

Not full on monster level (though bonus points if they have a barely even human-esque form when they're angry or using their powers). I want them to still be decipherably humanoid, or recognizable by someone who'd met them before all this. but something that could conceivably be achieved by a cosplay is not enough for my hp Lovecraft body horror needs. my ideal post-tbi lyf design has become the subject of several drastic urban legends simply by walking around the street and not interacting with anyone.

so yeah. give the fricker tentacles that don't go away and are a nuisance to find clothes to wear with. make Marius find them pretty even when the way they've been changed isn't conventionally attractive. it's so hard to pick a favourite bit of a book you've read five times and cried about pretty much every other page but the boys' pre-olympics huckleberry island shenanigans do hold a special place in my heart. this tiny bit is just so full of joie de vivre i adore it 🥹

Trying to piece together the miscommunication between Link and Normal where they both think the other doesn't know what they want and I think it's that the level of results they're each looking for is different. Link wants to know what to do from moment to moment and every decision in each moment is backed by "which option gets fewer people hurt or killed." Whereas Normal isn't looking for a moment-to-moment goal, he's looking for a long term goal of helping the Doodler, and so what that looks like from moment to moment isn't always going to look the same.

So like, the moment with the pick. To Link, Normal is the one who doesn't know what to do because Normal doesn't know what to do in that moment to resolve the anchor, while Link takes a quick action. But from Normal's point of view it looks like Link has no idea what he's doing because his actions had no thought towards the ongoing Doodler problem.

i had my last day of work today now im officially on veilguard leave WAHOOOOOOOOO <3 it was unfortunately the worst day i have ever had since i started working there djkfdjfkd but. tbh. it kind of just makes leaving feel even better so...... im considering today a win overall :)

i dont know why this strikes me so much he's just so often seen as Cold and Uncaring but inside he's just a painfully awkward guy who wants friends. and its not like watson is the exception here, he's BEEN wanting friends forever.

again there's just something very sweet and earnest and awkward about holmes (especially this baby version of him in college). he only did his Deduction when prompted, and it went so badly he ended up just leaving to make the other person feel better. he's a Good Boi.
