This has an odd origin as it was meant to be part of a larger idea but it didn’t flow right so it just ended on this page.

I just started to draw Rodimus Prime interacting with the EarthSpark crew, somewhat a commentary on how increasingly the “G1” of anything supersedes any successor, with veterans and now even younger fans starting to reject anything that isn’t “G1” as Rodimus and JD are both rather dismissive of the newer ideas.

It then was going to be one part of a larger crossover of my own ideas with the Legacy toyline in an attempt to give it a story to rationalize it for myself.

The general gist is other combatants that fought in the dimensional battle called the Legacy Wars, a war Grahm, Maddie, Thompson and Meister participated in, started trickling into the EarthSpark universe. G1 Rodimus and Energon Braverman & JD appeared in Witwicky during S1’s events, and are confused by the Emberstone (as it nor Quintus exist in their universes). I accidentally drew Braverman and JD as their Heathers AU selves, and tried to rationalize that to myself but gave up. I did have a splinter timeline where the Heathers AU instead saw Hawkins era Braverman and JD meet the Stranger Things pizza truck Autobot and others but I don’t have that fleshed out.

Another page would see Rodimus mistake Quintus as a scientist Quintesson and try to defend the kids and Terrans, as in my version of EarthSpark, Quintus Will occasionally appear as a digital Force Ghost through the Cyber Sleeves, making a point to be more active in things, even if he can’t really do much but just observe and talk.

A fanfic idea I've always had for HalBarry that I've BEEN WANTINGGG to write is a mission dealing with the Music Meister but the whole thing turns into confessing to each other about how they feel infront of everyone but through a musical style. Music Meister's power is being able to sing and control people to sing AND dance. I also want to mix the ability of CW Music Meister, his powers contain the ability of creating this figment that is like a sorta daydream sequence. (That's so silly and cool I love it and he's also my favorite villain in general but there's barely anything on him)

I'm still debating what songs they would sing but it would be based on how they feel INTERNALLY and through complex topics like what they are worried about. For example, from gaining the feeling that they'd lose the other if confessing was the way or being afraid of saying the truth directly to someone OR entering a relationship at all. ("What would they say? How would they react? What do I look like to them??" etc. etc.)

Give the other JL members little song sequences and singing. 'If Only He Can Love Me' duet between Dinah and Ollie in Brave and The Bold... OR BRUCE BEING ABLE TO SING. ARTHUR TOO, he's so silly in that episode.

I'm also including Music Meister HEAVILY from 'Mayhem of The Music Meister!' from Batman: The Brave And The Bold S1 E25. Having Neil Patrick Harris be Music Meister for that...I'm amazing. ANDDD AND, the fact that Neil also played Barry Allen in DC: The New Frontier film

also thought abt tucker having an arc where he doubts his capabilities as a meister preferring to be a weapon like danny mirroring how he is at the start of s1 in what you want but ultimately realizing there is value in him being meister

meanwhile danny and valerie have their standard learning to work together arc and how to have their souls be synchronized

valerie coming to understand that her duty as a meister doesn't mean she gets to call all the shots bc she's weilding her partner and danny has to trust his partner's judgment

Settling on Earth-38 with her adoptive aunts, Eliana doesn't expect anything drastic to happen...until the rest of her powers start setting in...

Ambiguity - FFN import, written for Stupid Mario Bros and a Mr L centric fic as he fights to fight his host body's brother

the truth (long overdue) - Spider-Man 2 AU where Peter goes back to explain everything to Harry and unknowingly averts tragedy later down the line

one night changes nothing (except when it changes everything) - Krypton fic where Seg and Adam sleep together one night early in S1 but Adam figures nothing's gonna change, because it's not like Seg of all people would return his feelings (hint: he's wrong)

remaining steadfast (accepting your purpose) - Robin of Sherwood S3 AU where Robert of Huntingdon stays the first time around, nervous as he is about stepping into the shoes of a hero

true friendship (becomes stronger over time) - Link & Saria post OOT (child timeline), where an older Link goes to talk to his best friend after feeling out of place recently

we have time (to start over) - X-Men 3 AU where Jean lived and brought Scott back, and now he's trying to figure out why Logan is acting so strange around him (it's the guilt)

i love you (let me show it) - Segdam fic where Seg proposes to Adam out of the blue

i will stand by you (i will help you through) - Angel & Riley friendship fic, in which Angel doesn't act like a dick in 4x20, instead recognising Riley as a young man in pain, and this has a massive effect on things

discussions and coffee (at three am) - Legends AU where Henry Heywood lived and is now a Legend alongside his grandson

early on in the show we see that there are civilian casualties as an immediate result of celestial being’s armed interventions, long before team trinity enters the picture, and part of me really wishes that a character who was directly harmed by one of the four s1 meisters, not the trinitys, could have come knocking later on to take their revenge it’s more digestible for the audience if a character suffers because of team trinity or ali and then that character places the blame on cb as a whole, but it feels like a missed opportunity i want to see some total rando whose house was crushed by a mobile suit shot down by dynames swear revenge on whoever it is that pilots the machine.

People who like Jenni understand that while she does dote on Tieria and she does tend to watch Celestial Being's antics like that one image of Keanu Reeves smoking, she is not The Designated Mom Friend. She can pick her boyfriend up like a large cat, but he's the one who scolds her for forgetting her epilepsy meds. She gets the Meisters to stop arguing with each other by firing a gun into the trees. She likes to insist that she has things under control when she doesn't. She contains multitudes.

☕️: What are the most common plots of shipping fics between you and your f/o?

Since the timeskip between S1 and S2 isn't well explored in the anime (or in general, outside of some additional manga and the Revealed Chronicle), I think a lot of people would love to try and fill in the gaps with lots of fics about the relationship progression that doesn't get shown. Fics about Tieria being a bit of a fish out of water while engaging with certain aspects of human culture that he doesn't have much experience with are also popular.

🙈: Why would your ship be thought of as cute/fluffy? Why would your ship be considered problematic?

Cute/Fluffy: Hey, everyone loves a good story about a robot trying to figure out how to love because there's a human being who keeps them up at night, right?

Problematic: Someone on Twitter would probably reach the conclusion that pairing the autistic chick with the living computer is "problematic" and "bad representation" because it somehow plays into negative stereotypes about autistic people. Otherwise, there'd be a lot of very generic complaints about TieJen being "toxic" because of some clip in Season 1 where Jenni tells Tieria off while he's being a little hater. 🌺

I'm not even mad at the kiss or Nyra feeling attracted to Mysaria, is how horizon said in their post: it's the disconnect and contradictions. I hated back in S1 when Nyra called it “Daemon's war” when she herself was the fucking heir. And now we have Alys trying to feed us the same GoT crap of “those who don't want it are better for the throne” - MY ASS! I remember VERY WELL S8 Varys saying that crap and we all know how 'i dun want it' ended up! Fuck that arugment honestly. Also Viserys DID FAIL the realm when he didn't bring Rhaenyra's claim out loud in those 20 years. He married his daughter to a gay man for the sake of having the Velaryon's ships and being in Corly's good graces as he was the master of ships. He KNEW but choose to ignore it how bad this could be for his daughter AND HEIR that she would be weakened if she couldn't have children! If people can make an argument for Viserys marrying again and possibly having male sons to be his heirs in case something happened, why is so hard to see that the same should apply to his own daughter? He could have done a multitude of things to make it very clear Rhaenyra was the next Queen, and he didn't. He could have even marry her to either Daemon or Aegon, have them being the king consorts, shut down Otto's and other lords scheming and secure Rhaenyra's claim. Viserys willfully ignored all the signs, weakened her claim and left her to her own devices. It feels as though the writers think they know better than Grrm and want to deviate as much as possible with the excuse that 'the meisters were biased', and insert whatever they feel like it. I really do like that they are giving Helaena more to do since she's basically a non-entity after Blood and Cheese. But regarding their choices about Daemon's arc in Harrenhal, Rhaenyra's frustration and how it's constantly brought up she's a woman and therefore her concil doesn't really respect her (even her damn son and heir is frustrated with her lack of action), Ulf possibly not being a Targaryen bastard because he had to bring out Baelon fucking Targaryen as his father, opening the possibility to anyone being a draghonrider, really, the implications of Nettles being deleted from the storyline and with her, the rumors of Daemon cheating on Rhaenyra were pretty much inverted with her now emotionally and physically cheating on him instead... it feels like a mess and the writing is all over the place.

Hate to use this phrase but media literacy it’s truly dead. People saying Rhaenyra doesn’t care about losing Daemon when Emma delivered Rhaenyra’ sadness over this possibility in a heart wrenching way…

She spent 6 years married to him and had 3 children in those years, to say she didn’t have romantic feelings for him and wasn’t happy with him it’s just deny the obvious. And clearly one of those feelings in succumb into a vulnerable and intimate position with Misarya, the only person who’s saying to her exactly what she needed and wanted to hear, she’s feels she’s losing everyone and Mysaria brings her a feeling that she’s still believed and capable. Rhaenyra sharing that moment with Mysaria doesn’t exclude her conflicted feelings with Daemon, she can love him and resent him at the same time. Right before kissing Misarya, she literally tells her that she and Daemon are “two halves of a whole.”

Huh...I didn't watch the episode, but my hunches are shared? Noice.

I think that the disconnect is that Rhaenyra also says she never trusted him, not "truly". Without the Dragonstone-family scenes I have said should have been included and expanded in S1, we can only rely on theat picture of happiness and teamwork we got in episodes 7 & 8, and no, even episode 10 has some serious faults with how Rhaenyra calls it "Daemon's war", as if she wasn't the one wo enlist him and marry him with the words (paraphrasing) "I cannot stand against the greens alone", knowing exactly what sort of dude this was. Which included knowing he still would always support her, not his own nonexistent ambitions for the throne. There is a diff b/t one's ambitions to become king, and one's willingness to be largely obedient to one's orders or anticipate their desires well, as what I think the writers were trying to convey in that argument but failed utterly and made it more about Daemon wanting the throne for himself. None of this "those who don't want the power are the best leaders" crap...and no, Viserys did not have any points about Daemon's loyalties, the man cut open his own wife and he decided he should question Daemon's loyalties?! Ha! When have we started validating Viserys' stupidity?!

So, to some in the audience, it is jarring for Rhaenyra to doubt him or feel miserable by his actions even under the context of a war breaking out and her doubt of getting support from those outside of Dragonstone. Which still doesn't make sense bc Aemond should rather be feared and reviled for his kinslaying, but apparently Jaehaerys' death is the only death that matters and suddenly Westerosi lords care for "compassionate" payback over oaths of loyalty. It appeared as if Rhaenyra forgave Daemon for the brothel thing, and yes completely bc the show didn't give us anything to think otherwise--again, they might have if only the show had shown us life at Dragonstone before the war. The writers play a game of tug of war with the point of their scenes and pass them off as "complex" when they are just piss-poorly written as a chain of scenes linking a story/particular arcs together.

Anyway, yeah, that's the disconnect, most likely. To set up other things, the show contradicts itself even though the scene by itself is conveying a very clear plotline AND can be connected to another moment from another episode. I don't really blame people who think this way at all.

The gundam meisters in s1 in general are all over the place, all of them hurt and traumatized and stuck all in their own worlds of pain at the beginning and I love seeing them not deal with their problems and then managing to become a team when it's already too late. Also Sumeragi's boobs are always bigger than I remember

I love Kinue so much she's a terrific character. She really knew there was more to Celestial Being than they let through with the interventions right away. She was so determined to know everything that she did find out everything and it led to her death. Imagine if she had lived all she could have accomplished
