Doctors and Roses

Inspired by this amazing art by @e-vay. (This is probably one of my favorites of Shadora. 🥰)

Fireflies danced in the cool autumn air, their twinkling lights mirroring the glittering stars in the clear night sky. It was still, quiet, serene. A lovely little house decorated with carved pumpkins, tall candles, and hay bales stood at the street corner. Two beautiful hedgehogs stood on the porch, talking and laughing quietly with one another. Each had lovely pink quills and green eyes; though one was comfortably dressed in a black and orange sweater and skirt, the other--the youngest of the two--was a bit more 'dolled up', adorned in a bright pink poodle skirt, denim jacket, and heels.

Until a motorcycle's revving engine ripped through the air. The machine wove down the street and finally swerved to a stop in front of the house. The rider cut the engine and sat back in the seat, lifting his helmet off his head, revealing sleek crimson-striped black quills. His brown pinstripe suit and tan sneakers clashed spectacularly with his motorcycle, but he didn't seem to care by the smirk that swept across his tan muzzle. He peered over his sunglasses with glinting ruby eyes, the younger pink hedgehog studying him with a raised brow and a smirk of her own, twirling her own pink shades in her fingers. "You goin' my way, doll?" He purred.

The pink maiden coyly bit her lip and giggled, slipping on her shades. "Is there any other way to go, daddy-o?" She replied, kissing the other pink hedgehog on the cheek and descending the porch steps towards him. The rider snickered and passed her helmet to her. He revved the motorcycle as she settled in behind him, and they roared off into the night with cheers and laughter.

Amy chuckled and shook her head. "Straight from the fridge, man."
