everybody has fics or headcannons that Bruce's speach was influenced by how he's such a dad, or batman, or a serving cunt but like what about how his speech Is influenced by how he talks normally as "Brucie wayne" to people?

I imagine he's got that posh accent when he's speaking when he's acting as Brucie Wayne and says 'darling' at the end of his sentences and it became a habit when he's not in the cowl

This is also partly because justice league's ears almost fall off when batman is scolding them( wearing a domino, cowl was damaged on mission,no voice modulation) because why does batman have a Italian-posh accent and who just called Superman darling.

my thoughts and prayers about brian

i think he found family and home in the enemies of Pheonix Drop when he was sent away.

if we’re following the medivial knight training process, he was sent away at 7 years old to become a page and start his training as a guard, and came back when he was 21 and knighted. its mentioned multiple times that dale is a drunk, and that he sent Brian away as soon as he was old enough to start training to become a knight. I doubt Brian saw this as a loving act from his father who was excited to share a passion of his with his son, but rather as a way to get Brian off his and mollys hands so Dale could continue to indulge in drinking.

When Brian does come back, im sure he is happy to be back to the place where he was born and grew up in for a handful of years, but by the time he is home Molly and Dale have had another kid, Alexis, who Dale is consistently there for and quits drinking for, especially after the whole shadow knight incident. Alexis has the father Brian never had, which i think ultimately makes Brian feel bitter and discarded, thus turning to the friends and family he had made in his time at the guard academy, which ultimately ended in his betrayal.

its also mentioned by Donna that Molly told her that Brian came back different, that ‘her baby boy wasent the same when he came back than when he went away’ and i think thats bc of two reasons, one, brian most likely grew up. he isnt a kid anymore, he isnt a baby. hes at least a teenager and at most a full grown adult by the time he came back. i think he also holds resentment towards his family, specifically his dad, and pheonix drop, that he keeps to himself with a tight lipped smile.

Hi, I hope you are doing well. I am not sure if you have spoken about this before but about Edmund, what period of time is his fantasy realm/kingdom set in? Is it some where in the middle ages (476 A.D - 1450 A.D) or maybe the early modern era (1450 A.D - 1750 A.D) or possibly in the 1800s (Victorian era and the first industrial revolution)? Or maybe a mix between some of these time periods since it is a fantasy.

I think it would help me pin point what type of clothes Edmund and his people would be wearing for the time, and help me picture it a bit better. Like is it similar to game of thrones or the lord of the rings, kind of fantasy or more of a shadow and bone/six of crows kind? (They are only books I can of at the moment).

i have not read or watched either of that so i have no idea what you're referring to. I have stated before that it is unclear and a mix of a sterotypical mediveal fantasy world with victorian society, but i can elaborate a bit.

If you saw the interior of his house on the poll a few days ago, you can see that it is very much stolen from Versaille and castles before that time, because the castle itself is a mix between a baroque and a dracula styled castle.

But then also, the technology could be a mix. There's marble bathtubs, some kind of elecricity (if you think about all the chandeliers and streetlights in the castle's garden) but frequent use of kerosene lamps etc

Ocean liners does not exist, but typical "pirate" ships do. Knights exists, police does not. Witchcraft/magic is debatable, i haven't added that yet but could be persuaded to do so for the future.

As for fashion FOR EDMUND probably 1800s royal fashion, fairly modern. No funny pants or pantyhoses, but could have the extravagant white tissue-looking thing in the neck. I see him as dorian gray to be honest lmao, so do with that informstion what you will. And for his darling, I see those kind of medivial flowy dresses. NOT the cone hats with fabric though.

Really there's so much we just don't know about him though, especially compared to the other three mains. Dr. Hare, we know he was a scientist or maybe a professor who worked at a national institute before a lab accident mutated him and that he hates the player character with a passion. We know that Black Widow worked as a cop/detective trying to find the Black Widow, playing both cat and mouse for years. We know that the Binary Bard was someone who was fascinated with technology and people were scared of them because of it (context he lived in medivial times) and that he had to escape, ending up losing most of their body and sanity. But we just, don't know anything about Crawfish at all. Sure, we can assume things about him from dialogue and certain scenes with him. But that's all they are. Heck, in the final confrontation with him on Skullduggery his hair is brown when every other instance of him he's grey haired. He's a mystery and we won't get answers for a couple of months, unless he ends up being part of the Fairytale storyline which I highly doubt as there were already references to the astro-knights and Binary Bard. Unless it's doing a thig where we get all the main villains AND the Red Queen AND Rumplestiltskin at once. And it that case Crawfish and Widow are the most likely to get sidelined.

Honestly, that's... interesting? You got all this complex lore and info about the rest of the characters and then this guy, despite clearly doing stuff in the background, is still a complete mystery
