Someone needs to do an analysis on the way the Kung Fu Panda movies use old-fashioned vs. modern language ("Panda we meet at last"/"Hey how's it going") and old-fashioned vs. modern settings (forbidden-city-esque palaces/modern-ish Chinese restaurant) to indicate class differences in their characters, and how those class differences create underlying tensions and misunderstandings.

genuinely boggles my mind that it took until the year of our lord two thousand and twenty-four for new york city to embrace the concept of garbage bins.

The Midsummer Watch Festival in Chester is a historic parade and festival that takes place in Chester, England. It is one of the oldest festivals in the country, dating back to the early 14th century. The festival originally began in 1498 and was initially organized by the city's guilds and the clergy to celebrate the feast of St. John the Baptist on June 24th, which coincided with the midsummer solstice.- Chester, UK

You know when you watch movies set in the past or fantasy movies, and when you get the epic pre-battle scenes you inevitably ask yourself why do they need all those drummers and stuff when all those men playing could be given a sword or something and be added to the troops? I am currently visiting a medieval festival and I just heard an exibition of war drums and I feel like I could run a half marathon. The drummers make so much sense.

High on any medieval LEGO fan's list, the awesome Medieval Town Square.
Looks like the perfect glow up of Medieval Market which I don't have due to being in my Dark Age at the time it was released.
That Guarded Inn nod is perfect and has a similar tower design as Lion Knights Castle. Cool, cool.
Love all the minifigs too!
March 4 is going to see LEGO.com very busy!
