The Dunstable Swan Jewel is a gold and enamel brooch in the form of a swan made in England or France about the year 1400. Excavated in 1965 in Dunstable Friary, Bedfordshire, it is presumed to have be an intended livery badge given by an important figure to his supporters.

The story of the ruined church of Clophill, and its many creepy goings-on.
In which we learn:
Kids in the UK play in old ruins like American kids play in...abandoned malls
For as liberal as it is officially, the Anglican church is still absolutely medieval about the sanctity of consecrated churchyards
Once the media starts reporting on possible devil-worship committed by "foreigners" at a place, every teenager and college student in the country is going to get the same brilliant idea to head up there and fake some witch shit
"It might not have been devil worship; it may have just been a necromantic rite." I think you're in trouble either way when you reach that point
All of this is happening because the local council is responsible for paying to do something with the ruined church, but in like 50 years they haven't had the money, but also aren't allowed to just knock it down. So it keeps sitting there and people keep going up there and digging up human bones from the churchyard to play with
Hire a guy to go up there and scare people away 3 times a night, England. Pay my rent and pub tab and I'll do it, sans wage. Geez
