Bonus Round! Yog-Sothoth Residue Martin! I tried to capture the guttural fear that he would be inflicted with in the nightmares he has, but it's a bit hard to do so when the eyebrows can't properly join the frame lmao. The depiction of the swirl written in @therealandian's ReDeath / Search Through The Stars AU was sorta described as (from rough memory) "greenish oranges and yellowed purples" or something of that sort, but I wanted to add blue as a way to show that Martin did regain his sense of self in the aftermath, and now fights to keep that identity in a way. Sure, it's hard, and he put himself back in the Institute's clutches to do it, but he's trying and we love him for that. It was quite fun to experiment with this, kinda half tempted to chuck one of my own AUs ocs into Yog-Sothoth for funsies (I wouldn't, its a funny idea tho). Tomorrow's releases are gonna be a bit more... interesting~. Have fun guessing who is next >:3!

so what about one of those "jon was in the mechanisms in college and martin is currently a huge fan" jmart fics except we have an alternative/punk martin and for whatever's reason wore his battle vest/jacket to the archives and jon is so close to reprimanding martin for "inappropriate workplace attire" (the hypocrite) but then he sees the extremely detailed and lovingly hand-made mechanisms backpatch as the vest's centerpiece and he just,,, freezes and walks back to his office.

I'm gonna sob, one of Lance's mechanics is moving to a factory role to spend more time with the family (VALID) but in Henry's post about it he said the guy had moved from Williams to RP with Lance and I just 🥹🥹🥹 there's been a few instances over the years that show just how loved Lance is among his mechanics and how well they all get along and I'm being very emotional about it
