Wing Implantation ///// Wing Augmentation

Metal Masked Machines, unlikely as it seems, may wish for brand new wings, with which to reach their dreams. with brand new wings does come, a hope that's life's begun, a yearning that for some, can never be undone.

The initial implantation uses reformatted hard shell to create hardened structures that energy is then woven into. the energy sutures are initially stringy, tenuous and jagged, but eventually become continuous hard light with no noticeable gaps. It takes a while for them to grow to full size.

Meet Ataraxia, the Artifice of Stagnation! After much wrestling with the design I've got something that works for her!

Ataraxia is, essentially, the real BBEG of the campaign we were in. An ancient supercomputer with the power to challenge gods, powered by masses of undead celestial creatures, fused into a mass she deemed more suitable for her purpose. She was created and used, theoretically, in order to protect humanity from vengeful gods. Her purpose was to ensure their safety. However, Ataraxia's idea of safety got very out of hand, and she tried to get full control over every single mortal, considering their free will a bit too risky for their own well-being.

Her body is meant to evoke both, some eldritch horror and the good ol' biblically accurate angel stuff. I went for a more organic look on her mecha parts, almost like the parts of an insect or even spiky conches, as if they were grown from the celestials' remains instead of being simple forged metal. I hope y'all enjoy it, mecha body horror isn't exactly my focus, but I love her all the same- (also, Urion/The Onirist is there, held gently like hamburger : ) )
