Have you ever posted about Circus Time Pizza in Michigan? If not then here lol. (I'm just going to copy and paste my instagram post🤫)

Circus Time Pizza was a restaurant/entertainment center opened in 1983 by Cass S Opyt and Neal J Mason, which also closed the following year due to bankruptcy. The mascot was a clown named Jell E. Bean and I believe along with the animatronic they would have someone dress up as him.

According to a newspaper article, inside the restaurant there was a main stage with multiple animatronics, along with side rooms where individual animatronics would do impressions of Kenny Rogers and Elvis. The main group of animatronics supposedly consisted of a rabbit who played drums, a tiger lady, a bear who played guitar, an elephant who played saxophone, and a panda bartender who can be seen on the ad.

Oh, I dig this SO hard!!! This is exactly the kind of weird, tacky stuff I love. (Bonus points for clowns as well.) It was in the (in)famous Dort Mall, too! Kudos to gathering so much on this place! I hope more gets found, but given the obscurity and locality of it, I'm not expecting professional video or anything.

I swear, these places always ended up going bankrupt. :( They were too good to last in this world...
