Hello, I was the anon who asked the question about what all you wrote, I was just afraid of putting my name at the time. And there were so many choices, but I had to go with the one that has my heart at the moment and that is Rafael Barba for the Halloween themed prompt.

I was thinking of something along the lines of vampire Rafael Barba and female reader and NSFW(whatever you want, I am not picky)

I love your works and it was this page that actually got me falling in love with Rafael Barba

Thank you for your request and your lovely words! Rafael is my favourite character in SVU. I hope you enjoy reading this fic as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Warnings: mentions of injury, blood and violence, vampire au, NSFW, tiny hint of yandere vampire Rafael, and a hint of angst.

The knock that sounded at your door was too rapid to be a child who was trick or treating especially since the children had already been escorted home by their parents.  Hushed voices discussed the rumours about the supernatural beings that inhabited this town as quietly as the autumn leaves fell from the trees onto the pavement below.

The townsfolk paid the rumours no mind; dismissing them as fanciful creations to amuse and scare the tourists that wandered through this time of year.

You wished you had that luxury.

For a second the knocking ceased.  Then it resumed sounding heavier and more insistent than before.  Sighing, you hauled yourself out of your chair and reluctantly moved over to the door, cursing whoever was on the other side.  You were comfortable in your chair with a blanket wrapped around you.

You pulled your front door open and barely stopped yourself from gasping in shock.  On the other side of the door stood Rafael Barba.  His normally vibrant jade green eyes were dull and his hand was pressed to his side attempting to slow the flow of blood.  Knowing Rafael as you did, you knew he’d be more annoyed about the damage to his suit rather than the injury.

Rafael’s legs wobbled and he swayed alarmingly.  He managed to gasp out an apology for disturbing you and explain that he didn’t know where else to go.  Pushing your own annoyance to the side, you darted forwards and wrapped his free arm around your shoulder so you could guide him into the house.  Before you crossed the threshold, you muttered out a quick sentence granting him permission to enter.

“Where does it hurt?”  You asked once Rafael was lying down on your couch.

“It doesn’t.”

“Liar.”  You chided.

“It takes one to know one,” Rafael fired back.

You rolled your eyes, “How was I to know that I am descended from an ancient line of vampire hunters without anyone telling me?”

Rafael let out a huff, “You expect me to believe that you didn’t know?”

The answer was written across your face and Rafael’s disbelieving expression morphed into a horrified one, “You really didn’t know.”

You confirmed his words with a nod of your head, “After you left, a vampire tried to bypass the permission thing.  He threw a rock, broke a window and tried to enter the house that way.”

“Tried to?” Rafael echoed.

“Grandpa was visiting.  He went to the broken window, made sure the vampire saw him and cool as a cucumber, Grandpa reached into his sleeve, pulled out an arrow and threw it through the window.  It hit the vampire squarely in the chest.  He crumbled into ash and after I processed all of those unexpected sights, Grandpa decided I hadn’t been shocked enough.  He chose that moment to fill me in regarding our family history.”

Some colour reappeared in Rafael’s face.  If you had to guess, you would say that the damaged skin around Rafael’s wound was starting to heal.  Pretty soon the vampire that was sitting on your couch would be fully healed and he’d have no reason to stay with you.  Not wanting to witness him leaving again, you stood up and turned away from him.

“I’ve learned a lot since you left.  One of the most important things is that if a vampire is given permission to enter, it can be revoked at any time.”

“Cariño...”

“You’re going to leave again.  I need to keep myself safe.”

“What if I didn’t leave?”

“You will.  Maybe not today or tomorrow.  A time will come and you will leave.  Vampires and legacies of vampire hunters don’t mix well.”

Unseen by you, Rafael swung himself around so that he was now sitting upright on the lounge and he gritted his teeth as his skin finished knitting itself back together.  Once the healing ache subsided, he stood up and carefully made his way over to you.  Part of him was grateful that your enhanced senses hadn’t fully developed yet otherwise you would have heard him approaching and Rafael didn’t want to think about all the places where you grandfather had stashed weapons around the house to protect you.

“Who says a vampire and a legacy don’t mix well?” He breathed, wrapping an arm around your waist and yanking you to him.  As he pulled you into his chest, he spun you around so that your eyes locked.

Your hands came up to brace yourself on Rafael’s clothed chest and the vampire bit his lip.  Your skin felt so warm and soft against him.  Memories resurfaced, reminding him what it felt like to have your body pressed against his so tightly that it was hard to tell where you ended and he began.

“Scholars and popular media,” you admitted in a whisper.  You were so entranced by Rafael’s presence that you completely forgot about your hands resting on his vest.

“Did you forget that I have a habit of proving people wrong?”  Rafael questioned.  His nose brushed against yours and he scanned your face for any sign of discomfort.  Needing to be certain in a low voice he asked if he could kiss you.

You uttered the nickname that you’d given him followed by a breathy plea for him to kiss you and his resolve crumbled.  The kiss started off slow and gentle however it didn’t stay that way.  Rafael had been away from you for too long.  He swiped his tongue across your bottom lip wanting access to your mouth.  When you granted it, Rafael immediately deepened the kiss.  At the same time, pride blossomed in his chest when he thought about the vampire and his coven who foolishly challenged and wounded him.  None of them would be able to come near you now.

Breaking the kiss, Rafael took your hand and guided you down the hallway and into your bedroom.  When you slipped into bed, he climbed in behind you and scooped you into his arms, “No one will harm you while I’m around cariño.”  He vowed as your eyelids fluttered and you slipped into the land of dreams.

Before Rafael closed his eyes, he swore to himself that he would spend the next few days worshipping you and demonstrating how he could use his enhanced abilities to bring you to the heights of pleasure.  Heat zipped down his spine and pooled low in his groin as he imagined all the filthy things that he would do to you.  He decided that the first kink he'd explore with you would be orgasm denial.

The thought of your voice begging for him to let you cum after he had brought you to the heights of pleasure only to deny you that final, sweet release caused Rafael's cock to stiffen.

“Who knows,” Rafael thought to himself, pressing a kiss to your forehead and your cheek before he rested his head on your shoulder and tangled your legs together, “spending so much time alone with me might be exactly what (Name) needs to strengthen her own enhanced senses.  No other supernatural being can match a vampire's endurance in combat or in a romantic setting.  But (Name) isn’t just an ordinary person.  She comes from a powerful line of hunters and maybe she’s the one the old prophecy referred to.”

“Well, thanks to Freddie Lounds, there's an unconfirmed story floating out there that The Chesapeake Ripper's already in custody.” 

“Unconfirmed. Am I confirming? We’re Fact-checking for Freddie Lounds...”

“You're fact-checking for me.’

“I always feel a little nervous going into these places.”

“Why's that?”

“Afraid they won't let me out.” As Will says that he stumbles and begins to fall when he is caught by Lena. She smiles and simply responds “No need to worry, I feel the same way when I walk into the BSU.” She even winks at Jack…Will is really beginning to wonder how she gets away with expressing her true feelings to Crawford readily. Thats a matter for another time he supposes, awkwardly separating from Lena. Clearing his throat and adjusting his glasses. 

Jack says “Don't worry. I won't leave you here."

" Yeah, not today.”

Fredrick Chilton in what is either complete confidence or unassuming arrogance “Dr. Bloom just called me about you, Mr. Graham... or should I call you Dr. Graham?”

“I'm not a doctor.”

“You're not FBI either… what of your friend?” Chilton’s gaze goes to Lena scanning her from top to bottom. 

“He teaches at the academy, he’s got the temp.ID. I’ve got the real thing. Along with a few others…Has anyone ever told you you’ve got this uncanny resemblance to a manhattan ADA? Barba I think… met him back when I was with the BAU”

Chiltons jaw fixes into a frown. “Theres a distant relation, far cousins of somesort on the fathers side I believe. We’re not close.” 

“Funny I suppose, well Dr. Chilton we’re going to need to see the crime scene while it's still relatively undisturbed.”

“I assure you three, for something so disturbing, it is quite undisturbed.”

“Why was a nurse left alone with a prisoner in a high-security psychiatric hospital?” Will begins asking his questions of the situation.

“For the two years since he was brought here, Gideon behaved perfectly and gave every appearance of cooperating with attempts at therapy. As dictated by our present administrator, security around him was slightly... Relaxed. I cannot help feeling responsible myself for what happened. He sat directly across from me and I had no idea what he was hiding.”

“And now one of your staff is dead. I understand, doctor.”

“Mr. Graham's going to need to see the crime scene with as much privacy as you can provide”

“Oh, yes, that thing you do. You're quite the topic of conversation in, uh, psychiatric circles, Mr. Graham”

“Am I?” 

“Uh, yes. A unique cocktail of personality disorders and neuroses that make you a highly skilled profiler.”

“He empathizes with everyone Dr.Chilton…he doesn’t become the killer or agree and sympathize with their motivations just feels what they can. You’d think someone in your highly educated poition would understand the difference.”

“Well we are woefully short of material on your sort of thing, Mrs.Holmes.”

“Gibbs, Ms.Gibbs. Dr. Chilton.”

“Oh yes, horrible tragedy… forgive my forgetfullness.”

“We’d like to see the crimescene now.:

“Handcuffed.”

“He concealed a fork tine in the palm of his hand and used it to pick the lock. Where is he now?”

“In his cell. You'll note the removal of organs and the abdominal mutilations are all consistent with The Chesapeake Ripper.”

“So is the brutalization of the corpses, but that doesn't change the fact that The Ripper is still out there.”

“Jack, what I'm about to show you suggests otherwise.” The door buzzes open.

“Dr. Chilton consulted on the case when we failed to catch The Ripper after his last series of murders.”

“The reason you failed and kept failing to capture The Chesapeake Ripper...Was I already had him.”

Will’s eyes seem to glaze over as he examines the scene, almost swaying as he scans the room.

“As far as we know, it's been over two years since the Chesapeake Ripper killed?”

“That's correct.”

“When was Gideon admitted?”

“Almost two years ago.”

“Yet another early morning for us Ms. Gibbs.”

“You requested to see me this time, Dr. Letcer”

“I did.” His sad smile widened towards the redhead “It has come to my attention that I know a fair few things about you, only from the papers. I’m hoping we can rectify that.”

“What’s there to rectify?” She shrugs, “I have an affinity for loving intelligent and stoic people, maybe to my detriment. My father has killed for me, my career is my life. Arguably the first and last of those things are also because of my father.”

“That's a fascinating way to phrase Agent Gibbs being a federally acknowledged hero. The largest number of commendations in Naval investigations, yes?”

“Killing is killing is it not?”

“To some…What of your mother, Lena?”

She scoffs and stands from her seat, then moves to rest her back along the ladder in the office.

“Dead. She and my younger sister. Murdered. Papa’s spent his life keeping me safe and dedicated to taking down the scum who are responsible for such things.”

“Is that not admirable?” He asks leaning his chin into his hand. His face is still plain but something behind his eyes changes. A new understanding.

“Sure it’s admirable…but it messes someone up does it not? Will would like him, he builds boats by hand in his basement.”

“Is he the ‘messed up’ one or are you Lena?”

“Both…I mean look at my track record. Papa joined the Marines, then took down druglords and terrorists for a living, I joined the Marines like him and went to work for the FBI, taking down serial criminals and maniacs for a living. When Jack made that go to shit, I fled, fell in love with a man who solved puzzles, and took down terrorists for a living…Even if it meant sacrificing himself in the process.”

“It's quite the pattern isn’t it?”

“What about you Dr. Lecter, how’d your parents screw you up?”

“They passed away.”

“Would you like a hug, Hannibal?”

“A hug?”

“I have a friend that once said a good hug tells you all you need to know about a person…so” Lena stands with her arms out-stretched for him.

And Hannibal readily accepts.

“She has the same wound pattern as the last-known victim of The Chesapeake Ripper. I mean exact”

“We never found a body for his last known victim.”

“Then the victim before that.” Will flails his wrists a bit looking peaky, his brown glistening with sweat.“I see The Ripper, but I don't...Feel The Ripper. This is plagiarism”

“We never made the wound patterns for any of The Ripper's victims public.”

“Well, maybe he is The Ripper. I don't know.”

“But if he's a plagiarist, the real Chesapeake Ripper is gonna make sure everybody knows it.” Jack sighs. 

“Well, there’s nothing more that Will can do now, so that means I don't need to be here.” As Lena begins to ascend the steps back from the scene Dr. Chilton moves to block her path. 

“Agent Gibbs, while you're here how would you like to accompany me to an event this afternoon.”

“An event?”

“A show, I have spare tickets.”

“I do love theater but I’ve already got plans, sorry.”

“You do..?”

Lena looks behind her maybe begging for one of the other men to give her a way out of this, but of course. They are useless.

“Yes! Actually, Will is introducing me to his dogs today, aren’t you Will?” The man in question looks perturbed but plays along. “I am. Dr. Lecter was supposed to feed them for me today but I suppose Lena talked him out of it this morning.”

“That I did! Now if you’d excuse us Dr. Chilton it's a long drive to Wolftrap.” She says as she pushes past Frederick and quickly jogs up the rest of the steps.

Jubal doesn’t tell anyone he’s seeing you. He keeps it on the downlow because he doesn’t want to jinx it. If he’s honest with himself, part of it is because he can’t actually believe that it’s finally happening, that he gets to wake up alongside of you each morning.

It stays a secret for about two months, until Scola comes knocking because he left his I.D badge on your coffee table the night before when the two of you were watching the game. He’s kissing you goodbye when he literally opens the door and sees the other man standing there. He expects it to spread after that but it doesn’t. Scola’s good at keeping secrets, he’s been keeping a lid on the way Jubal feels about you since the day you took a bullet for your partner.

It's O.A. that finds out next, the two of you are getting dinner in a tiny hole in the wall restaurant. Jubal’s just reached across the table and taken your hand when Omar appears alongside of you. He’s picking up an order for dinner with his cousins and saw the two of you sitting there.

“It’s been a long time coming.” He tells the two of you with a knowing smile.

He’s not wrong. It’s taken years to get to this point and Jubal’s grateful it’s happening now after you’ve made the shift to Counter Terrorism.

Maggie works it out when she sees you on a run. It’s six in the morning and she’s completing a second circuit of her new route when she spots the two of you at a coffee shop near the park. She notices Jubal’s wearing yesterday’s shirt, before he leans in to kiss you. She tells O.A. later on that morning and he simply gives her that shit eating grin.

“You knew.” She accuses.

“For over a month.” He tells her.

Tiffany knows that Jubal’s seeing someone, she’s known ever since she pointed out the lipstick on his cheek one morning. She just doesn’t realise who it is until you’re called in to work a case together. She realises how much your body language has changed since you used to work here, how instead of putting distance between the two of you, you’re leaning in instead.

“It’s finally happened.” She tells Scola when the case is over, and he snorts before telling her she’s three months too late.

The relationship isn’t even on Isobel’s radar, not until six months down the line. She’s leaving her office when she sees the two of you step onto the elevator together. Jubal’s hand reaches for yours, fingers entwining, and she knows she’s looking at a couple in love. She smiles to herself because out of everyone the two of you deserve it.

This plays into my Jubal work moving forward. Also the reference to Scola keeping Jubal's secret is to an upcoming fic called 'Just in Case'.

Answer to your Q:

I'm just not a fan of them anymore. I really liked what they did in the end with Rollisi, not the beginning but the way it turned out with them and in my head that's OTP. For Barba, I rewatched his eps a while ago and I just hated what they did to his character towards the end, like he became a different person. - also for me I think I was done with him after I finnished writing 'All In' I couldn't imagine him with anyone other then Jen after that.

I haven't written anything (at least not to completion) in a very long time. Now that October is basically over, and we're moving into my least favorite season, I thought I would give Holiday Bingo a glance to encourage myself to write as a distraction from the long, cold months.

Most of the bingos for the winter holidays have the same 6 or 8 ideas on them, none of which appealed to me enough to make me feel like writing. So, for the first time ever, I brainstormed my own bingo card of ideas.

I don't have any expectations of anyone else using my card, but if you see something you like, feel free to write it. All I ask is that you DM me a link to your fic so I can do a Master list post. ☺️ Other than that, I don't really have any rules for others' use.
