Trey Clover:

Trey had always been the reliable, grounded guy. Need a cake baked? Trey. Need a shoulder to cry on? Trey. So when you approached him with the suggestion of trying a period pain simulator for "educational purposes," he just adjusted his glasses and said, “Sure, why not?” with his usual level-headedness.

You’d attached the electrodes to his abdomen, and he watched, almost too calmly, as you adjusted the settings. “This isn’t going to be so bad,” he mused. “I mean, how bad could it rea—”

Level 3 hit.

Trey’s entire body stiffened like a poorly baked souffle. His hands gripped the edge of the counter, and his polite smile faltered into something...less composed.

“Okay. Alright. Th-That’s something,” he said, voice tight. His glasses started slipping down the bridge of his nose, and for the first time ever, Trey Clover—the epitome of calmness—looked mildly panicked. “W-Wait, are you sure this is—AH, WHY IS IT IN MY SPINE?”

You snorted as he shot you a look, beads of sweat forming on his brow.

By level 6, Trey was gripping the counter like it was holding him back from the gates of hell. “This is not natural. I’m convinced this is just dark magic. I think the dough is rising inside me.”

When it reached level 9, Trey—calm, responsible Trey—finally broke. “Okay, okay, STOP. I take it back. You are all warriors. I’ll bake you whatever you want for the rest of the week, just please stop.”

With a press of the button, you ended his suffering, and Trey fell back in his chair, gasping for air like he’d just run a marathon. He gave you a weak thumbs-up. “Good... good lesson. I have so much respect for you now. Never again.”

Ruggie Bucchi:

Ruggie thought he could handle anything. Growing up in the slums, you learn to survive, right? So when you casually mentioned a period pain simulator, he scoffed. “Psh, it can’t be worse than a day of running around for Leona. Hit me with it.”

Oh, sweet Ruggie. He didn’t know.

You strapped him up, and as the simulator started, he just chuckled. “This is nothin’. I’ve had stomach cramps before. Ain’t gonna—”

Level 4.

Ruggie doubled over, hands on his knees, eyes wide. “H-Hey, what the—ow, ow, OW! Is this what you deal with?!” His voice cracked as his body spasmed.

By level 6, he was on the floor, clutching his stomach. “I’m sorry for everything. For stealing your snacks, for—oh seven, is this my punishment for that time I ate all your donuts?!” He was gasping, rolling on his back, legs kicking in the air like he was trying to outrun the pain.

“Ruggie, I’m only at level 7,” you said, laughing.

Level 9 hit, and that’s when it got wild. “PLEASE! PLEASE! I’LL DO ANYTHING! I’LL WASH ALL OF YOUR LAUNDRY. I’LL DO GRIM’S CHORES. JUST TURN IT OFF.”

You finally turned it off, and Ruggie lay there, twitching, face pale. “...I’ll never complain about anything again. Ever.”

Jade Leech:

Jade approached the period pain simulator like he did everything else—with unnerving curiosity. “Fascinating. I’ve heard about this phenomenon, but I’ve never had the chance to experience it firsthand.” He grinned that unsettling grin of his as you set it up.

“I’m sure it won’t be that bad,” he added with eerie confidence, as if he were about to observe himself in an experiment.

Level 2 was fine. At level 4, he twitched slightly. “Interesting sensation. It feels as though something is constricting. Very curious.”

At level 5, his smile wavered, just a bit. His breathing hitched, and his hand twitched. “Ah. I see. A dull, persistent ache.”

By level 7, Jade was gripping the edge of his chair, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead. “This... is more intense than I anticipated. Quite...quite challenging.”

Level 9, and his grin was gone. For once, Jade looked almost human—panicked and wide-eyed. His fingers dug into the table as he gasped, “What is this? Is this...some sort of torture technique?”

You had to fight back laughter as he gave you a rare, pleading look. “Turn it off...please.”

When it finally stopped, Jade blinked rapidly, straightening himself with as much dignity as he could muster. “I’ll admit, I underestimated that. Quite... informative.”

Kalim Al-Asim:

Kalim thought this was going to be fun. Like a game. “Sure! I’ll try it!” he chirped, flashing his bright smile. “This’ll be interesting!”

At level 2, Kalim was still smiling. “It kinda tickles!”

By level 4, his eyes widened. “O-Oh. That’s...that’s a bit tight, huh?”

Level 6 hit, and Kalim’s smile faltered completely. He was gripping the couch cushions, eyes wide with panic. “Wait, wait, wait! It’s like someone’s punching me from the inside!”

Level 8 arrived, and Kalim let out a full-on yelp. “Okay! O-Okay! I-I take it back! This isn’t fun at all!”

You were wheezing with laughter as Kalim squirmed, trying to adjust himself in the chair, like it would somehow lessen the pain. “It feels like my insides are doing a dance but... but not in a good way! Jamil! Help!”

When you finally turned it off, Kalim lay there, panting like he’d just escaped a wild party gone wrong. “Wow. Just... wow. I didn’t know! How do you survive this?”

Rook Hunt:

Of course, Rook approached this experience like everything else in life—with an excessive amount of enthusiasm. “Ah, mon trésor, you wish to grant me the experience of such a unique sensation? Marvelous! I am prepared for anything!”

You hooked him up, and he was practically vibrating with excitement.

At level 2, Rook was still poetic. “Ah, it begins. A subtle whisper of discomfort, like the winds of autumn brushing against one’s skin.”

Level 4. “Ah! A deeper ache, much like the pull of unrequited love! So sharp, so vivid! I feel it in my very core!”

Level 6 hit, and Rook...started sweating. “Oh...oh my, it is as though my very soul is twisting! A veritable storm within me!”

At level 8, Rook clutched his chest dramatically. “Mon dieu! The anguish! How does one continue to live with such torment on a monthly basis? I am in awe of your strength!”

You were practically crying with laughter as Rook, finally humbled, gasped, “Turn it off, s’il vous plaît! My poetic heart cannot take any more of this agony!”

Lilia Vanrouge:

Lilia had lived for centuries. He had fought in wars, seen empires rise and fall, so surely this would be nothing, right? “Ah, this? A pain simulator? How quaint,” he said with a smirk as you set it up.

At level 3, he was still smiling, though you noticed a twitch in his left eye. “Hmph. I’ve had worse.”

Level 5 hit, and Lilia stiffened, his smirk turning into a grimace. “Oh...that’s rather unpleasant.”

Level 7 arrived, and Lilia’s face contorted. He gripped the arms of the chair, his tiny frame shuddering. “This is worse than I thought” he muttered.

At level 9, Lilia—a warrior who had seen millennia—let out a tiny, high-pitched yelp. “STOP! TURN IT OFF! THIS ISN’T RIGHT!”

You immediately turned it off, watching in amusement as Lilia leaned back in his chair, panting. “Well...I didn’t expect that to be my undoing.” He gave you a weary smile. “You are far stronger than I ever gave you credit for.”

Yuu run up and hug riddle from behind as he leaves the classroom

He freezes up and almost turns as red as his hair.

You feel his whole body stiffen and he tries to speak fluently but stutters.

“W-what are you doing?”

You let go and walk in front of him “What is it against the rules?~” Yuu ask with a smile

Riddle relaxes and fixes his voice “No. But it would be nice to have a warning beforehand.” he replies sternly before walking off with a slight blush.

     Cater Diamond

Cater was trying to take a selfie but…PHOTOBOMB!!!

Just as he clicked the button to capture the photo, Yuu jumped out and hugged him from the side smiling.

When Cater notices that it is you he smiles and laughs

You two look at the photo and Cater has a surprised face as a smiley Yuu is clinging onto him.

“I am totes posting this! We’re total #couple goals!”

     Deuce Spade

Completely startled and most likely thought he was getting jumped.

After he notices it was just you he breathes a sigh of relief.

It’s too late for Jack to stop; it's a direct collision as you both fall to the ground with a thud.

Yuu clings on tightly preventing Jack from getting up

“Come on Yuu, you ruined my time!” Jack says slightly annoyed

“Yea~ but now your time is mine” Yuu says happily until the gym instructor comes.

“ If you two have time for fooling around surely a 5 mile run should be no issue.”

Jack handled it well, but ended up having to carry Yuu home.

   Ruggie Bucchi

Yuu is mad at Ruggie for a “small” prank he played.

“Come on, I said sorry!” Ruggie says pleadingly

Yuu just keeps walking away ignoring him but feels slightly bad for being so upset with him.

What Yuu doesn’t notice is that Ruggie is using his special skill on them.

Next thing they notice that they are in a hug with Ruggie as he snickers.

“W-Wha- - - RUGGIE! I’m still mad at you!” Yuu yells while blushing

“Oh come on, I said sorry already. Plus you love me, don't deny it.”

You really can’t deny it. Ruggie stops his spell and you two just stand in an embrace.

After Azul finished with his (scams) I mean totally legitimate business.

He was walking back to his office with his newly made contracts.

Then BOOM Yuu jumps from a hallway and hugs him

This startles him and he grabs his contracts very close, fearing he almost dropped them.

When he notices that it is you he blushes a bit

“Please be more careful next time!” he states exasperated

“Yeah yeah, whatever you say my cutie” Yuu say with a smile

The term makes him blush even more

Floyd comes from nowhere “Someones being squeezed~”

Floyd then hugs the 2 of them and picks them up squeezing them.

Jade joins too because why not.

Azul is just in between the 3 now annoyed:Sweet moment over “Can I please put my contracts away!” he yells with annoyance

Since everybody kinda worries Yuu, they run to the person they trust the most, Floyd!

When Yuu spots Floyd about to harass Riddle, they scurry over and hugs his leg from behind.

Riddle looks down at the familiar looking kid questioningly but Floyd doesn’t seem to notice a child clinging to him.

Riddle: Well I must be off now, so before you decide to bother me, you should see to the kid attached to you.” with that he walks away

“Ehh~ what kid?” Floyd questions. He then looks down to see a child you clinging to him

Brain dial up noises

“Shrimpy~~~!”

He picks Yuu up by the shirt collar to see eye to eye. He has a wide grin.

Yuu nod at his statement

He hugs You tightly and happily to his chest “Shrimpy is tiny Shrimpy now, makes me want to eat you whole.

“Please don’t” You say to him knowing he would follow through with his words.

Safe to say you didn’t leave his arms for the rest of the day (P.S. eventually the potion wore off not that Floyd cared)

The 2 are extremely giddy and just holding each other tighter while giggling.

Jamil is annoyed and cringing at the show of affection

Kalim then invites Yuu to a sleepover to which they gladly accept

Jamil Viper

So he had a hard day of work, scratch that, week

Yuu see him in the hallway looking completely exhausted 

So you decided to give him a small happy surprise

You walk up quietly and gently wrap your arms around him

He flinches a little but then relaxes under your touch

He turns around and rest his forehead on your shoulder as he hugs back

“We should probably get to class soon.” You state quietly

“Let’s just stay like this a little longer please” He responds back tired

You smile as you softly pat his head.

Rook Hunt

Yuu sees Rook in the distance watching someone and thinks it would be a great chance to surprise him.

Yuu goes to tackle Rook but then it looks like he disappeared into thin air as Yuu feels arms wrap around them from behind.

Yuu is stunned 

“Hello Mademoiselle!!” Rook says excitedly “h-how did you?” Yuu questions

“Oh mi Amor you cannot hunt the hunter, Now let us go!” 

They continue to go on a cute and calm date

Vil Schoenheit 

Vil is walking through the garden elegantly, basically sparkling.

Yuu can’t hold back the urge to hug the ever so handsome, beautiful man

Yuu run up and hug him careful not to disorientate his perfect demeanor

He is slightly shocked but gains composure quickly as he turns around.

“Hello my lovely spudling”

Yuu rolls their eyes and vill gently fixes a misplaced hair on Yuu

The blossoms are basically budding and the 2 are sparkling with perfectness.

Epel Felmier

Epel was coming to visit Yuu at Ramshackle, but Yuu wasn’t in the dorm.

Yuu spots Epel standing in the front and gains a brilliant idea

Full sprint Yuu runs towards Epel and hugs him harshly

Epel stumbles but keeps them from falling over and his accent slips out as Yuu laughs

Epel holds his hands to his chest and sighs “Geez don’t do that Yuu, nearly gave me a heart attack”

“Oh Epel classy Epel” Yuu teases as they go to hang out the rest of the day.

Idia Shroud

Idia is in his room being a shut-in but Yuu wants to see him.

Yuu get Ortho and they discuss a plan to get Idia to open the door

Idia hears a knock at the door and instantly assumes it is ortho “Yeah Ortho?”

“Can I come in really quick brother?” ortho questions and Idia responds “sure" and goes to open the door.

As soon as the door opens there is no time for him to react. Yuu has already dived in and hugged him.

Idia’s skin is now as red as a strawberry (hair too) and he is as frozen as a statue.

Ortho giggles “Oh yeah and Yuu wanted to see you”

Yuu release your hug “um hello earth to Idia”

Idia.exe is not responding

Oops you might have broke him

Idia crouches down and takes a few moments to breathe. After a while of him calming down; Yuu, Idia, and Ortho play games for the rest of the day.

Silver (sweepy baby :3)

Yuu spots Silver asleep directly in front of the school gates blocking the way

Yuu stands over his sleeping body menacingly with a smile and stares down your shadow covering Silver's face.

Yuu then plop yourself harshly with a thud right onto silver as you hug him and rub your face into his chest.

Silver wakes up from the impact with an oof and needs a moment to process

Once he processes the event happening he hugs Yuu back softly and you both fall asleep at the school entrance.

Riddle walks up to the entrance to see you two blocking the way

Malleus (Hornton)

He was admiring the gargoyles in front of Ramshackle. Yuu happily run up and hop onto Malleus’ back hugging him

Malleus was surprised but did not show it.

“Hello Yuu, nice weather wasn’t it”

“Yep!” Yuu say as Yuu keep your legs clung around Malleus and now Malleus has an Yuu riding on their back everywhere.

He doesn’t really show it but he is happy

Yuu runs into Silver and asks about Lilia’s location.

 “Father? I am actually not aware of his whereabouts but I’ll put in word for you if I see him.”

“Talking about me?” a voice comes from behind you as arms slither around your waist.

“AHH!!!” Yuu jump a bit instinctively

“Hello Father.” Silver says unphased

Lilia laughs at your reaction and contemplates making this a habit before you change the topic to the invitation.

You guys also invite Silver because as Kalim once said “The more, The merrier!!”

JP Book 7 Spoiler Warning!

You know, I've been deeply curious about what Ruggie's dream is going to be, and I think I have an idea.

Buckle up, I'm back at it again with my giant text posts:

Ah, Ruggie! A fan favorite! At least, I hope he is. I love this little dude! Who doesn't love our hyena kleptomaniac that's worked hundreds of jobs?

So ever since Part 2 of Book 7, I've been dying to see everyone's dreams. Therefore, I SCREAMED when Book 7 actually ended up taking that route! Of course, I've been speculating for months as to what their dreams could be! I mean, it's really, like REALLY, hard to predict where the TWST story goes, they always throw you a curveball and keep you super engaged. I don't think I've ever correctly guessed something for TWST. But I'm not gonna let that stop me from guessing Ruggie's dream!

From what I can tell, Ruggie is the type of person who wants to work for what he gets. He's definitely a fan of free things, absolutely no way this dude would turn down free food! But my guy is not a fan of those high and rich in society acting above everyone and walking all over the lower class. He knows you should get in with the rich, but 90% of those people aren't going to give him the time of day. He definitely knows that. The only rich people out here giving him the time of day are Leona and Kalim, which makes them pretty interesting cases and this is entirely due to their childhoods. Anyway, in Wish Upon a Star, Ruggie's wish is for a high-paying job. Not for straight cash, not for everything he could ever want, a job. Doesn't even humor the idea of just wishing for what money could buy. So I don't think Ruggie's dream is going to be him sitting on a giant mountain of gold and lounging around. On a surface level, someone could think that would be his dream, but that doesn't sound like Ruggie. Ruggie "Eat the Rich" Bucchi would NEVER. I mean, it'd be hilarious and iconic, but the story doesn't use Ruggie's character in that way. He can get intense stuff. Besides, TWST is anything but surface level. Therefore, I think his dream is going to pull from character traits from all the way back in Book 2.

It's interesting that Ruggie doesn't think he stands a chance at getting a high paying job. Like, my guy probably had the thickest resume known to man, and he doesn't think he's gonna get one of these jobs because of how competitive they are. He calls out the interview and testing process, is it too far fetched to assume his background may be of concern to him as a hurdle? If I may pull from Savanaclaw Novel my beloved, hyena's are heavily discriminated against in Twisted Wonderland (Lion King plot points go brrrrrrrr). Ruggie's a hyena from the slums, a place where no mages are expected to be and no one is expected to make anything of themself. He's a pride of the town, he's got his whole neighborhood rooting for him! This makes him ambitious. And this gives him his motive for success.

Ruggie wants a better life than the one dealt to him. But the thing is, Ruggie doesn't JUST want to be able to live a comfortable life. He wants to make a name for himself. That's why he believed so much in Leona's plan. He wants to flip the world on its head, he wants to prove himself, he wants to be seen, he wants to show the world a hyena can rise above. He's a mage, he's going to NRC, he's a star player on the Spelldrive team at school. He's already breaking barriers for himself, but that's only at school. Life is so much crueler to him out there. He's ready to fight against the world that wants to push him back down. He had goals in life, but some he speaks louder than others.

So what do I think Ruggie's dream is going to be?

He gets recruited by professional Spelldrive team.

This is his most far fetched dream in his eyes. That dream he's almost afraid to utter out loud with full sincerity. When he brings it up in the line I started with, he just backtracks like he was crazy to even consider it. Back in Book 2, the only time he felt like he could say it was when he believed so much in Leona's plan that he actually considered it possible. That's why it hurt him so much when Leona crushed that hope right in front of his eyes.

Spelldrive is clearly special to Ruggie. He uses every part of him in Spelldrive: his size, his magic, his trickery. He's made a name for himself on his team at school, even making it on TV broadcasts and being known by incoming freshmen. This is something he's good at and perfect captures multiple aspects of who he is. But what's the big thing with Spelldrive? It's a famous sports thousands of people tune into. What better way to make a name for yourself than as a famous athlete. A famous athlete with a background that said he'd never make it there. A little hyena that proved everyone that said he'd be nothing wrong. THAT'S what Ruggie wants. Spelldrive is the perfect way for Ruggie to go "Here I am! This is me! And you're all going to see me as I rise above." And that would make his wake up call extra cruel.

I only really have like, one thing that makes me think this may not be the case: The origin of that image I put at the beginning of this post.

I'm under the impression Ruggie is getting a Book 7 Card. Jack has the least in the dorm (one? ONE?!), so it should be him, but I think it'd be kind of weird to give the not Ortho/Sebek freshmen cards considering Epel didn't get one. If they want to give Jack a card, heck yeah free that boy from R jail! But let's assume for a moment it's Ruggie. If in Ruggie's dream he's a professional Spelldrive player, uh, Ruggie already has a Spelldrive card. It'd be really redundant unless either that card is just that swanky or he's not in uniform. But if they do this, how could they not give us any visuals?

It's just- I really feel like this should be it!

Ohhh Jeanne and Kalim would make sense, but I think the line would fit more with daiggie soooo (that and I just love writing for them sue me); ALSO I TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO A SMALL SCENARIO FOR THE 50S AU NO ONE CAN STOP ME WITH THE AUS!!!!!

"Mr. Thief!" Ruggie's ears twitched at the sound of the lady he's met the other day. He quickly got the last package onto the truck as his co-workers finally went on breaks for lunch. The hyena beastman fixed up his clothes and hair as best as he could, before putting his hat back on and walking towards Daisy.

What? She was pretty, can you blame him?

"I didn't know you worked here." She commented and the boy noticed she was carrying two bags with her. "I was just going back home after running a few errands. How are you doing?"

"You're seriously the weirdest person, Blondie. Most people would avoid the person who stole from them, ya know?" He teased and Daisy rolled her eyes at that, but her smile never left her face.

"Well, if you don't want me to talk to you I can–"

"No!" His hand moved to her wrist, making her stop in her tracks. Daisy looked at it an then to his face, letting out a shy smile as Ruggie's hands went into his pocket and scratching his head in embarrassment. Daisy didn't expect him to be so opposed to the idea, but it was cute, she thought. "I mean– since you come here often it'll be inevitable to see each other, right? Let's just be... acquaintances."

"Acquaintances?" She covered her mouth as she let out a chuckle, and Ruggie felt his cheeks burn even more.

"Ya know what I mean. Don't pretend to be all innocent now." The hyena beastman complained, and Daisy couldn't help but grin.

"Well, I'd much prefer if we became friends, Mr. Thief." She tilted her head, hoping to not be pushing a boundary as his expression changed. "I mean... If that's ok?"

"Oh– no, that's– uh, that's fine. Friends. Right." Ruggie could hardly contain his tail wagging behind him and Daisy laughed awkwardly as she fidgeted with her fingers.

"Well, I– I'll be going now, then. It was nice seeing you again." With a small bow she started to leave, but Ruggie quickly held her wrist again, but didn't let go this time, instead, he slipped his hand into hers as she blinked in surprise. "W-what is it?"

"Well, I've... I was thinking..." He stumbled over his words, come on, get it together, now! She was simply a girl like any other, why was he so shy all of a sudden? "Would you be free on Friday? At seven, maybe?"

Daisy's face started heating up. She let out a small smile as she fixed her hair, trying to calm down. She just hoped he couldn't hear her heartbeat at the moment.

"Is that how you ask other girls out?" She teased, making him smile. "You just steal from them and the next day you ask if they're free?"

"As a matter of fact, yes, it is." Daisy laughed and Ruggie's heart swelled at the sound; he could hear her laughter for days on end if it was possible.

"Oh, goodness– you're a scoundrel."

"You like me because I'm a scoundrel." Ruggie said, moving her hand closer to his mouth as the girl chuckled.

"Well... May I know the name of said scoundrel, please?"

"Ruggie Bucchi at your services." He quickly kissed her hand, playfully bowing right after, taking his hat off and everything. Daisy put a hand on her chest, pretending to be moved. "And may I know the name of the lady who likes this scoundrel here?"

"Eléa Carbonneau. But my friends call me Daisy." She played along, curtsying in front of him as he pretended to be a gentleman pleased with such introduction. "I'll be here on Friday at 7. I hope you're not too much of a scoundrel to be late."

"Please. I would never let a pretty lady waiting." A few of his co-workers called, telling him lunch break was almost over and if he wanted to eat he better hurry. Ruggie clicked his tongue and put his hat back on, giving the girl a charming smile. "I'll see you then, Daisy."

There was a very little chance of you winning the prize, but there had been an even lower chance of Ruggie playing. He knew most claw machines were nothing better than thieves. A shiny toy that suckers you in with a bunch of flashy lights and could be prizes. However, Ruggie wasn’t going to stop you from your fight against the machine.

Right in front of you sat an adorable plush of a seal dressed as a blue penguin. This wasn’t something you wanted; it was a need. A very important one at that, the little guy captured your eye the moment you walked in. So, it was only a matter of time before he would come home with you. While you missed each chance at hand you felt as though it only brought you closer and closer to winning.

With the claw gripped firmly attached to the string of the plush you could sense your victory. Holding your breath, you and Ruggie both watched in anticipation. Just what was going to be the result?

A few days had passed since you missed your opportunity at winning the adorable plush. Little did you know that Ruggie had achieved what you didn’t, he got the plush for you. Along with a letter, just how did Ruggie manage to get such a gift? Especially since he wasn’t enthusiastic about the idea of claw machines.

Opening the letter, you read the contents:

Hey you,

I don’t normally do this, but after seeing your face being so down in the dumps, I couldn’t stop myself. Plus, the arcade was hiring. Gotta admits it was a good part time job, the owners were pretty nice too. The old couple who owns the arcade was more than willing to hand me the plush for free. It’s kinda embarrassing to admit, but they even teased me for knowing I got it for my lover. What a turn of events. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new little fellow.

Deuce Spade ver.

With a very amused look on your face, you watched as your dear friend shoved his hand up the vending machine. You weren’t even the least bit surprised, who would be? Deuce was incredibly determined to get whatever he had purchased from the vending machine. Sighing to yourself you ask Deuce to move a bit you were going to try your very own trick.

Shaking the vending machine. Yep, a good ol 'shake should send the item out in a matter of seconds. Always worked for you so it should work for Deuce and his mystery item. Except it didn’t. After being fed up the two of you made eye contact and proceeded onto the next challenge. With the exchange of a nod, you gave your best kick to the vending machine. Meanwhile Deuce gave his best punch, both attempts ending in misery.

Calling it a day, both you and Deuce looked around to find help. Only the two of you came face to face with the vice and head dorm leader of Heartslabyul. Trey was thoroughly entertained, but Riddle was a different story. Quickly getting help for the situation Riddle came back with the master key. Taking the key in hand Riddle picked up Deuce’s mystery item. Then, without missing a beat you and Deuce had both gotten stuck in a collar.

The collar didn’t go away till later in the day. Once it came undone you made the choice to relax in your bed. Soon came a knock at the door. Opening it up you were shocked to see Deuce, in his hand was a present and a letter addressed for you. Quickly shoving the gift in your hand Deuce walked away just as fast as he arrived.

Opening the letter and present you saw:

Dear friend,

I apologize for getting you involved with the punishment today! I appreciate the help at the vending machine though. Looking back at today, I had fun trying to get the item out together. Whenever I’m with you I feel as though I get so lost in the moment, I ignore my surroundings. I almost forgot to write this, the item I won was a set of plush keychains. Since you were the one who I dragged into this mess, I thought I should gift you one. Please enjoy the plush.

You looked at the clock, seeing it was almost time for Ruggie to come home. Even on his birthday, he still worked, never taking the day off for himself. “The grind never stops, not even for lil ole me,” he would always say to you. You took the afternoon off to sneak into his apartment, using the key he had given you of course, and surprise him once he was home from work. 

The both of you enjoyed being playful, always playing pranks on one another and cracking jokes together. Unfortunately for you though, your boyfriend was way better at pulling pranks than you were. But not tonight. Tonight, you were going to be the mastermind behind this. You would finally get him, just like he's always gotten you. Of course, you would shower him with affection and love afterwards to let him know that he is your one and only and that you adore him.

You had thought about it a lot, the type of prank to best play on him and how to get him. You figured out the best way to get him would be when he is caught off guard, he’s too sly to fall for something if you come at him headfirst. You knew just the right time to play your silly little prank, too. Ruggie was the kind of guy to come home from work and try to relax in his bed for a little bit, decompressing from his long day and winding That was when you would make your move, when he would least expect it. You decided that you would hide in his closet, being sneaky and waiting for your prey to return home.

Earlier that day, you had swung by his grandma’s on your way and ended up with a delightful treat to give him. Grandma Bucchi was so sad that he worked all day and that she wasn’t able to see him, but greatly appreciated you stopping by to see her. She sent you on your way to his apartment with a bag of homemade donuts for him. You’d scare him and then throw the bag in his face as an apology. Yeah, that’s a sweet plan. There’s no way he would stay upset at you or down with donuts in his hands.

You waited in his closet, the shutter doors shut tightly to not look obvious. The minutes were slowly ticking away it felt like. After what felt like an eternity, you could hear his keys shuffle in the door. Your eyes widened as your heart skipped a beat with anticipation as you heard his footsteps approach his bedroom. The door creaked open; his jacket was tossed on the dresser as he plopped down on his bed . get settled in before you pounce. You continued to wait patiently. This would be the one time you finally got him, you wanted it to be perfect.

You peaked through the door shutters, seeing him lying on the bed. He had one hand behind his head and the other was holding his phone as he aimlessly scrolled. You decided you would text him to try and get a feel for what he was doing, another way to distract his mind before you jumped out.

[Y/N] heyy birthday boy ! are you finally home yet?

You sent the text and peered through the small cracks again. He smiled and sat up on his bed as he read your text. Even without you there with him you still made him happy, and it showed in this moment. His expression was cheeky as he typed his reply, snickering as he put his phone down. You looked down to see your phonescreen light up.

[Rug♥] thank you baby, i just got home. Are you coming over? It is my birthday after all (;

You gave him a blank stare through the closet door, hoping he couldn’t feel your intense eye roll you just did at him. You tried to think of something, a lie of some sort, that you could tell him so he wouldn’t be questioning where you were. I mean, as his partner it does make sense for you to come over on his birthday, even if it’s just for dinner together.

You barely hit send before Ruggie was already responding to your text. You peaked again through the door cracks. He sighed as he tossed his pillow over his face. This was it. He’s all relaxed and unprepared. This was the perfect time. The perfect opportunity, your perfect-

“BOO!~” 

The closet door flung open, making you jump and squeal in terror. You huffed as you watched your boyfriend stand there in the doorway, laughing hysterically, tears forming in his eyes. You narrowed your eyes at him. “It’s not funny, Rug, I almost peed myself.” Ruggie stopped laughing and cocked his head to the side. “Oh, I’m soooo sorry for scaring you. Isn't that what'cha were trying to do to me?” he teased playfully. You pouted and crossed your arms over your chest. “Hmph, no. Of course not. Why would I even do that?” you said grumbly.

Ruggie just stared back at you, giving you an “are you kidding me right now” look. He didn’t say anything, he just stared, waiting for you to try and explain yourself out of this one. You sat for a moment thinking to yourself, how could you even explain why you’re in his closet if not to scare him? It wouldn’t matter, he would see right through your explanation anyway. “How’d you even know I was in here?” you asked as you stepped out of the closet, the donuts in your hands behind you.

“Well, for starters, I have a fantastic sense of smell,” he said as he raised his eyebrows at you. “Did you really think you’re going to hide from me when you have donuts with you?” he teased as he grabbed the donuts out of your hands. “These are Gram’s, I know it." He blissfully smelled the bag. "She would only give these to me, but she likes you. You’re the only other person she would hand ‘em off to.”

You stamped your foot on the ground, to which he chuckled at. “This was supposed to be the one time that I finally got you, and you still got me somehow. Grrrrr,” you playfully growled. “Woah there, tough guy, calm down. You’ll get me next time,” he said as he pulled you in for a hug. “C’mon, I’ll share my donuts with ya. How’s that sound?” he said as he jiggled the bag in front of your face. You rolled your eyes as you both sat on the bed and began to share the donuts. It really was hard to stay upset or down when you had donuts in your hands.

“Thanks for coming over for my birthday, this is one of my favorites 'cause I got to spend it with you,” Ruggie hummed as he had his arm wrapped around you. You cuddled up to him and dreamily sighed. “You’re welcome, happy birthday, Rugbert.” Ruggie groaned at you calling him Rugbert. Oh how he regretted his grandma telling you that she calls him that. “Hey, Rug?” you said curiously. “Hmm” he said, turning to look at you. “Was it really the donuts that gave away my hiding spot?”

He snickered at your question and then rolled back onto his back. “No, it wasn’t,” he sighed through a smile. “Oh? Then how?” You wanted to know how he knew. What could you do differently next time so he wouldn’t get you before you got him. He just gently pointed at your chest and smiled at you. “Your heartbeat, I can pick that out in a room full of a million people. I could hear it before I even walked through my front door.” You sat there, astounded by his response. He could pick your heartbeat out of a room full of people? And he said a million people? Even just thinking about it made your blood rise and stomach do cartwheels in the best way possible.

“C’mere,” he chuckled as he pulled you on top of his chest and into his arms. You relished in his arms, contently sighing. “Y’know, I can hear it when it speeds up too,” he whispered. Your eyes grew wide at his words, making you feel a little embarrassed. There was no hope for you. You were forever destined to be the one getting got. “Maybe… I’ll let you get me on your birthday.... Maybe~,” he laughed. "Yeah... maybe we can go to Wendy's house then," you said quietly. "Wendy's?" Ruggie asked puzzled. "Wendy's nuts," you said as you obnoxiously laughed, your boyfriend letting out another groan. You got him, though.

TWST G/T Headcanons go brrr

🍒Ace Trappola ~ The only human in this shvt. He’s wondering what the hell is happening with all the giants and tinies and is casually watching the world around him burn around. He’s constantly messing with Deuce (if he’s giant) trying to get him mad to the point he’ll will destroy half of Heartslabyul with a single punch. Ace LIVES to get this mfer in trouble and he can get away with it cause “he couldn’t possibly cause so much destruction anyways" since he's a regular human. Definitely the main catalyst for any giant related destruction.

🥚Deuce Spade ~ Giant 100%. He would be so clumsy. Half of Heartslabyul is destroyed before the end of the week every month (it’s Ace’s fault). He would be so sweet to Yuu but he’d grab them unintentionally roughly. He apologizes like crazy if he squashes something or is close to stepping on someone. Main objective? Protect his friends and stop anyone trying to hurt them.

💭Cater Diamond ~ Sizeshifting Cater. Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk. But seriously, Cater just being super little one moment for the perfect camera shot while sitting on a flower. Next moment, he's towering over the dom, angling his phone to get a good picture while sitting on the roof. He'll just snatch tiny Trey and Riddle up and randomly take pictures with them. Super affectionate with Yuu as well. He'll just grab them in his hands and nuzzle them with the biggest smile over his face.

🍀Trey Clover ~ Hear me out on giant Trey. He's just baking in his kitchen and he looks down to see Yuu trying to sneak a lick off his mixing spoons and spatulas. He's gotta be sure that no one's accidentally getting baked into his pies and whatnot because that'd be SUPER bad. He typically carries people on his hat so they can spectate whatever he's making. He loves having Riddle in the kitchen and constantly messes with him, whether it be blowing flour in his face or booping his nose with a tiny scoop of strawberry jam.

🌹Riddle Rosehearts ~ He is actually so tiny coded it is INSANE. The tiny tyrant who sits upon Trey's hat and yells at his students. He'll know if you break a rule because he's quite literally listening from the walls. He could be in your room and you'd never even know he was there. He'll announce the opening of unbirthday parties by sitting atop his little dollhouse sized throne and using an itty bitty microphone Cater bought from the store.

🪨Jack Howl ~ Giant Jack + fluffy tail = pure happiness. He's just. So protective over Yuu and he's insanely sweet. If you give him a lil smooch he'll actually think you were the cutest thing on planet Earth.

🪵Ruggie Bucchi ~ Tiny hyena who "borrows" stuff from others (he's a lil sneak). He can get away with stuff too because of his size. He'll just casually sneak into your dorm room and take whatever little scraps he can find. Leona's had to go out and find him if he ever needs little favors from him but has almost accidentally stepped on him one too many times because of how good Ruggie is at hiding.

🦁Leona Kingscholar ~ Giant Leona is actually so perfect WHAT. He's just sleeping over his entire dorm, leaning his head against the terrain outside and flicking his tail, kicking up sand from the ground. Magishift training is even better since Leona can coach his players and all he'd have to do is stand up to be eye level with those flying on broomsticks.

⚡️Floyd Leech ~ I'd say giant Floyd, but lord KNOWS what kinda BS he'd pull. He'll just. Pluck Riddle out the window and tease him. If he's not in a good mood, he'll probably smash stuff and laugh when the "tiny minnows" get mad at him. Such a chaotic giant.

🪼Jade Leech ~ Tiny Jade is an absolute MUST. He'll just go inside his little terrariums and see his mushrooms from a better perspective. He'll easily be able to observe nature and it's just perfect for him.

🐙Azul Ashengrotto ~ Listen; Giant mermaid Azul, Tiny human Azul. I say this because in game, it's actually implied that Azul is a WHOLE lot bigger in his mermaid form than his human form. i'd believe it, given how big octopi IRL can become. Then you have a tiny Azul who's the boss of two giant eels. You violated your contract? Say goodbye and get squished at his command. Tiny restaurant owner and the grand mastermind of the contract scandal in Book 3. Everyone's just baffled that they were swindled by a tiny octopus.

⚱️Kalim Al-Asim ~ Giant Kalim. Clumsy giant good. Jamil has HAD IT with his BS and will advocate for replacing him as their Dorm Leader. Kalim's not trying to be bad, and he's actually so sweet. He'll just observe his dorm mates from the window's of the building's towers. He'll watch the others fly around on his magic carpet. He would pick Yuu up and hold them close to him as he lays down and points out all the stars in the sky. He'd be the perfect cuddle buddy; all you have to do is ask, and you're already sleeping in the crook of his neck as he sits down and holds you close.

🦂Jamil Viper ~ Sizeshifting Jamil W. Jamil who's tiny one moment, and giant the next. He'll get really big in order to handle certain tasks or to stop Kalim from doing something that could potentially hurt him. I just imagine him picking Kalim up from the back of his shirt and dangling him in midair while lecturing him.

🍎Epel Felmier ~ The infamous tiny who's been trying to escape Pomefiore. He's almost had a bunch of successful attempts, but Vil just picks him up by his collar and scolds him for trying to run off again. Epel's dorm escapes are gossiped about around the whole dorm. He's constantly being doted on by his fellow dorm mates (he absolutely hates it). He's challenged Vil to a fight and got flattened under his thumb (he's ok [I think] for now!).

🏹Rook Hunt ~ Giant Rook Hunt so true. He's so SNEAKY. It's crazy how someone his height is able to get around without so much as a booming footstep or a loud sigh. He's quietly observing all the student from clever hiding spots (though his hat gives him away sometimes). He'll carry Vil wherever he needs to go and is so polite, always watching where he walks.

🪞Vil Schoenheit ~ Giant Vil Giant Vil Giant Vil. I NEED him to push over billboards with Neige's face on them. He'll sit on the sides of buildings and pose for photo shoots. He's a giant with a rivalry for a tiny foe (his tiny foe has no idea a giant wants him gone). Makeup products for him are so big he has to store them in a warehouse separate from the school.

🎮Idia Shroud ~ Tiny Idia for sure. He hides amongst his anime figurines whenever Riddle comes banging on the door to drag him to the next Dorm Leader meeting. Tiny Idia making little inside jokes like "I just ate a whole chip today I'm stuffed" and the other person opposite the screen just thinks it's a joke (they don't know they're playing with a 5 inch-tall gamer).

🧿Ortho Shroud ~ Giant mecha Ortho VS itty bitty robot Ortho. Idia just controls Ortho from a cockpit in his room and goes around jumpscaring people (Ortho has to tell him to quit it or he'll grab him out his room and force him to socialize). Then there's tiny Ortho who just. Zooms around like a lil bug. His flying sounds like a mosquito but he's going around helping students whenever he can.

🐊Sebek Zigvolt ~ Human Sebek in a world of chaos much like Ace. He's trying to protect Malleus but Malleus is usually the one who ends up protecting HIM. Sebek making speeches about how powerful and big Malleus is and just getting absolutely spooked whenever one of his giant classmates comes tapping on the window.

⚔️Silver ~ Giant Silver SUPER BIG YES. Sleepy giant who just clocks out whenever he lays against something. Lilia's constantly flying around trying to get his attention and Silver just swats at him like a fly sometimes. He's finally big enough to tell Sebek to stop messing with him (he's accidentally squished Sebek with his head after falling asleep and tumbling over). Silver who is just so sweet and has tiny little birds nestling on his head.

🦇Lilia Vanrouge ~ A tiny, itty bitty terror. He flies around and scares the kids in the dorm and around campus and laughs. He's able to slip through fingers while flying so he can't be grabbed so easily. Lilia's also REALLY fast. He'll go speeding across the hall in a little green sparkle and hide behind Sebek whenever an angry student is chasing him. Peepaw that lives in a dollhouse and sits on the rocking chair, telling Silver stories at night whenever he's trying to sleep.

🐉Malleus Draconia ~ This is SO painfully obvious, but giant Malleus FTW. He just plucks Yuu out of Ramshackle and flies into the sky. He holds them close to him and rambles to them about his gargoyles and the stars. Malleus who causes the ground to shake whenever he moves or gets angry. His voice is so deep it carries across the ground and shakes the heavens. He's so imposing that no one dares go near him or the little human he's acquired. He adores Yuu and will take them with him wherever he goes. Giant Malleus who smashes the Bell Tower during Glorious Masquerade in a fit of rage against Rollo, for even TRYING to hurt his Child of Man. He's so strong he could probably lift Ramshackle dorm clean off the ground with his hand. He would probably even be able to grow his size even bigger so that he towers over NRC. He'd be unstoppable as a giant, but he'd always be so sweet to his human friend.

riddle knew you were the one on the night he came back to his dorm, extremely exhausted. it was around the weeks leading up to the VDC festivities and riddle was in charge of the event. it frustrated him that things weren't going as smooth as he wished. there was just too many things to do at the same time and he was only one person. he was grateful for the help trey and other students would give him, but in the end, most of the responsibility still fell on him and he was tired. the housewarden opened the door to his room, the feeling of fatigue creeping into every last muscle of his body. he stopped in his tracks when he saw you standing by his bed and fluffing up his pillows. you turn to look at him, acknowledging his presence with a lovely smile, "welcome back. i let myself in, i hope you don't mind," you said as you turned to a table that had a tray of prepared tea, biscuits and his favorite strawberry tart, "take a break, riddle." and that was when he absolutely knew it was you.

"352 thaumarks in total." you said and it made him perk up. his expression contorted into a smirk and ruggie cheekily grinned, "is that all for me? i won't say no." he wasn't expecting the excited grin plastered on your face when you looked up at him, expression bright and eyes twinkling with excitement, "it's for both of us." no words could express how his breath caught in his throat when you pulled out a savings jar with the words 'ruggie + y/n's after graduation funds'. that was the very moment ruggie knew he didn't want to spend his life with anyone else but you by his side.

the vice-housewarden was no stranger to working overtime. mostro lounge was a busy place and jade always seems to have everything under control whether it be a sudden unprecedented influx of customers, or floyd's random bouts of mood swings—you could count on jade to smooth everything out so effortlessly. well, not like jade minds as much. he likes his job, even if sometimes he ends up all alone at the kitchen and finishing up cleaning the last of the plates at 10:05 in the evening after another busy day of serving, not only students, but visitors from outside NRC. after all, it was the annual inter-dorm spelldrive competition again so this was to be expected. what he didn't expect however, was to see you on one of the seats at the lounge. your eyes were droopy and your head was bobbing up and down, desperately trying to stay awake. jade gently placed a hand on your shoulder, making you jump a little in surprise and eliciting an amused chuckle from the moray, "may i ask what you're still doing here? i was under the impression you'd already made your way back to your dorm." jade stated and you let out a yawn, "i wanted to wait for you." you stated drowsily. it was such a straightforward answer, but one jade didn't get as often. he was used to people going on ahead like floyd or azul. he didn't mind letting then go first on almost anything. jade leech was like a shadow who preferred to sit and observe rather than to do. and so when you gave him the response that you did, he didn't know what to say. he always stayed back alone, on his own accord. and now, knowing that you didn't want to go on ahead—that you wanted to stay and wait with him cemented you a special place right in the middle of his heart for all of his life.

we all know floyd leech didn't like anything boring. anything mundane would just annoy the living fuck out of him which inevitably results to him acting out and getting himself into trouble because in his little screwed up moray mind, trouble is equivalent to fun. the day he saw you emerge from the cafeteria with a piece of bread in your mouth and grim by the collar while you ran for your life being followed after by half a dozen savanaclaw jocks who did not look pleased, everything went slow motion for him. you looked absolutely majestic running for your life. what did you even do? steal their bread? did someone put you up to this? whatever, it doesn't matter. whatever it is you're doing looks fun. and when you were about to rush past him and you grabbed his wrist, inevitably getting him involved in the whole situation, floyd was dead set head over heels for you and at that moment, he wouldn't trade you for anything else in the world.

the day azul realized you were the one for him was on the day he got sick. he cursed his stupid frail human form for making him miss out on more potential profits that day. and normally, jade was left in charge in his absence but not today as these were one of the days jade took time for himself. he would be nowhere to be found on flat ground as he would be on some mountain doing god know what with gathering whatever mushroom he finds. the housewarden wasn't a fool. he knew when to take a break, but he couldn't very well leave floyd in charge. that's just asking for trouble. when you walked in just in time, the relief that washed over his whole body was so obvious that it offended floyd. the rest of the day was him staying in bed, trying to get his mind off the lounge, completely entrusting it to you. he didn't appreciate floyd banging on his door going, "you gotta see what they're doing!". the panic that overcame him suddenly morphed into butterflies as he watched you take charge. your voice, strong and you knew exactly what to do and what to say and it looked so flawless that he was mesmerized. shut up floyd. he wasn't staring. but he was definitely thinking up ways to propose to you in his mind someday, that was for sure.

jamil didn't have a lot of free time. but if he did, he would either be found spending it for himself, or with you. one of these nights in particular was a bit tamer than most because kalim had a packed day of doing whatever is is kalim liked to do. the heir seemed quite tired upon returning back to scarabia dorm and jamil, being the sly, scheming motherfucker he is, took this opportunity to get his master to bed early so he could have more time for himself. fortunately, kalim didn't really have much qualms on the matter and was out like a light as soon as his head hit the pillow much to jamil's pleasure. the vice housewarden returned to his dorm room where he last left you and the sight of you holding one of the maps he kept greeted him upon his arrival, "what are you looking at?" he asked as he closed the door. you looked up from the map with a grin, "let's make a travel road map!" you exclaim, grabbing his arm and pulling him to sit on the floor, "for when you're going to travel someday. i'm surprised you don't have one made yet." you said and he was dumbfounded. sure he'd thought of making on himself, but that could always wait another day. he didn't want what rare time spent together you had to be spent on his own silly dreams. you didn't budge. and as you uncapped the marker in your hand and opened up one of his many travel guides, his heart was overflowing with every positive emotion he could think of. whenever you put him first, it just always feels like he's some sort of champion. you were one of the best things that happened in his life and he will never let you go.

kalim falls more and more for you everyday and that's no secret. but the day that really sold it for him was when he came back to his room after a rough day. kalim had a hard time admitting it, but he had his insecurities as a housewarden and sometimes he felt those negative emotions just creep in and he falls into a bit of a gloomier-than-usual mood. he's still a bright ray of sunshine, but of course, there's a significant change to his tone of voice when you talked. the way the boy's eyes lit up when he saw the whole blanket fort you built the second he entered his room. his smile reached all the way to his eyes as he dove right into the pile of pillows, giggling and smothering you with kisses, hearts practically bouncing off both of you. you were an angel. and unlike the others, he'd be the one to verbalize what he's thinking and say, "i'm gonna marry you someday."

the day silver realized you were the one for him was the day he fell off his horse during equestrian practice. dozing off on situations like that can tend to send someone to the infirmary. and as if the earful sebek had given him wasn't enough on the field, sebek wouldn't stop talking even after silver is already laying on one of the beds in the infirmary away from the horses. he didn't want to be rude and tried his best to stay awake as the other diasomnia student kept talking about something along the lines of honor and waka-sama, he didn't know. everything was starting to get jumbled. when you walked into the infirmary, rushing to his side and gently asking simple inquiries about his situation and what events led up to them, sebek still tried to butt in the conversation. silver didn't really mind it as much since he was used to his dormmate acting this way, but you weren't having it. all the drowsiness left his body when he watched you practically drag the first year by the ear and kick him in the hind out the infirmary door, "had enough of your bullshit, sebek!" and normally, he'd say that wasn't a very nice thing to do, but when you made your way back to him, switching onto a more gentler tone and kissing his forehead and telling him to get some rest, he couldn't deny the fact that it felt good to be one of the only few people you were this soft to. the way you were so gentle with him made him feel like he could lower his guard around you. he felt safe around you. you weren't afraid to stand your ground either or stand up for others and he respected that. silver was in love with you and would never want to lose you. his only other wish is you to be more nicer to sebek as well...

They hadn’t seen outsiders in centuries, and for some reason, they thought my outfit meant I was royalty. Long story short, I ruled for a day—had a crown and everything.”

Leona cracked an eye open, staring at you. “You? A queen?”

“Yep. But don’t worry, I abdicated the next morning. Told them it wasn’t for me. Too much responsibility, you know?” You laughed, completely at ease, as if you hadn’t just described one of the most ridiculous situations ever.

Leona groaned. “You’ve gotta be making this stuff up.”

Grim knew he had to stay vigilant at all times. Somewhere out there was someone who wanted to take away his henchman, and that was absolutely not happening on his watch!! Grim's Henchman Protection Program was formed take down all potential threats to his and his henchman's peaceful life, and he wouldn't be stopping now!

Idia Shroud

idia wasn't the most experienced guy in terms of irl romance. but he was quite the aficionado of the romance genre- from light novels to animes to even otome games. you name it, he's seen it.

and yet the first time his heartbeat starts wildly acting up in his chest, and his cheeks flush and his hair flares up pink, idia thought, "oh no. am i going to die?"

it wasn't until he had ortho perform a search on the symptoms that he realized that he was in love. he was less thrilled to find out that, no, he wasn't in love with one of his waifus or husbandos. instead, he was in love with the ramshackle prefect.

the prefect who took a liking to him despite him being a NEET, and a weirdo. the prefect who brought over treats just for him when they had free ti-

wait, wasn't he just playing an otome game route ? these were all events, he rationalized with what little braincells he had after he figured out he had a crush.

great seven, the next interaction event would be coming up soon! he had invited them over to watch his favorite anime. he had to get full affection points so that he could start dating them! who knew who else was also vying for their attention?

when the day came, he had his game plan: to end the event by holding their hand.

as they sat together, idia swallowed. they were on their fifth episode now, and he had been slowly inching closer so that he could complete his mission. besides, he made them laugh earlier, which meant that this interaction had a less likely hood of failing, right?

now all he had to do is reach over and grab their hand. it was easy. just like in those games, smoothly reach over, and-

"not on my watch, gamer boy!" there's a cat biting him. there's a cat biting him??? "don't you dare try to put your grubby hands on my henchman!"

idia almost passed out with shame when they stare at him confused. he should've known that every elusively easy boss fight had a trap to it! and the prefect just came with...an overly fluffy cat-monster.

"grim, let go of idia-" "but he was lookin' at you with those...heart-shaped eyes, blergh i was about to throw up! no way he can date my henchman! he has to get my approval first!"

thankfully for grim, idia liked cats. or else maybe he really would've really fainted by now from the prefect's embarrassed expression to the way a cat confessed to his crush for him. talk about top 10 anime betrayals!

instead he swallowed his pride. it's not like he was against trying to earn grim's affection points. so he started buying snacks specifically for grim after having ortho scout out what the little creature liked.

every time the prefect came over, idia would have the treats waiting like a peasant offering goods to a god. (and it's not like grim dislikes being called the "great lord grim", so he's chill with it)

he convinced himself it was necessary for a perfect clear. if he can start dating the prefect and get a new cat friend? that sounded like an ending worth all the hours of his attention.

Floyd Leech

floyd liked the little shrimp. he knew that from day one, he was super interested in them. now, what he didn't know was when that interest and like turned into a fondness and love. it was too complex for him to think about so naturally floyd just took it in stride.

it wasn't like anything would change now that he knew he loved them, right? except, something did change.

he didn't like it when his shrimpy would get close to those other small fries. he was clearly the better choice! why would they hangout with them when they had him?

after much deliberation (aka jade stepping in and telling him he should confess), floyd decided to tell the little shirmp exactly how he felt.

he found the shrimpy at lunch and decided to carry them all the way to mostro lounge for a special snack.

"floyd, i don't think this is safe-" "don't worry~ i won't ever drop you, shrimpy!"

as soon as they were sat at the bar, he set off to work on making them something: a delicious plate of steaming takoyaki.

why? well...he figured that maybe if he showed that he was good at cooking, they would accept his confession faster. (floyd logic is logic all the same, everyone)

and so he walked out with the biggest grin and the most beautifully plated takoyaki that he had ever made, "i have your special snack little shrimp! it's extra specially made by yours truly~"

he placed the plate down in front of the prefect, watching as their eyes sparkled at the dish in front of them, "floyd, this is-"

*CHOMP*

what..? was that... the baby seal? floyd blinked again and yes, that was baby seal...with his mouth full of his takoyaki. the one he made for shrimpy.

"nice try seafood, but you can't just lure my henchman with the promise of good food!" the baby seal folded his arms. "what about me, we're a 2-in-1 package deal!"

the prefect grabbed him by the scruff, "grim, that wasn't for you! i told you, you could order anything else! i'm so sorry floyd!"

"l-look i bet he was going to confess his undying love to you after. and n-no way his love is more undying than my care for my henchman! he doesn't have my approval," the seal hunched closer to the prefect. "b-but please don't squeeze me..."

floyd was as confused as the little shrimp looked. he stared at the baby seal and then back at the prefect, then at his ruined takoyaki. he was both angry and sad and it seemed that today, his sadness won, because-

"the delicious takoyaki i made for shrimpy is ruined..." floyd sniffed, tears lining his eyes. he seldom cried unless he got too overwhelmed. this was exactly one of those times. "imma squeeze you later baby seal, i'm too sad to squeeze you right now- wwaahhhhh~!"

safe to say the prefect was left to deal with a bawling eel and a complaining cat creature, which wasn't a good combination. (jade had to step in because floyd started clinging onto the prefect while still sobbing uncontrollably)

from then on, it seemed floyd and grim had an intense rivalry over who loved the henchman/shrimpy more. whenever floyd was in the mood, he'd tussle with grim over menial things as the prefect watched on.

when floyd wasn't in the mood it got a bit tricky. sometimes, he would just...give up, which makes grim feel just a little bad as the eel stalked off with a sad look on his face.

but it's more likely he would pick his shrimpy up and carry them off into the sunset. nobody could get in the way of him and shrimpy's love! not even the baby seal!

Jade Leech

at first, jade wasn't even that interested in the prefect. he knew his brother was charmed, but he didn't really see the appeal. a magicless human who didn't have any redeeming qualities. that was as plain as plain would get.

now someone tell him why he ended up falling for such a human. was it the way they took floyd's moods in stride? or the way they helped take care of his mushrooms whenever he was too busy to?

over time he grew to be endeared by them and their smart quips that rival even his, and this is where it brought him: on a hike to a beautiful waterfall he had found last week with the prefect in tow.

now jade wasn't one to confess first, but he wanted to make sure that they clearly knew where his feelings lied for them.

after around an hour of hiking, they finally reached the waterfall. "woah, this is beautiful jade! you should set up a magicam account for all these places you find."

jade preened at the praise, "i hope you do enjoy the beauty of this place." he wanted to say that none of it compared to them, but the words had caught in his throat.

"prefect," he reached out for their hand, taking it in his. "truthfully, i brought you out here today to-"

"WAIT...A SECOND!! *huff, huff* YOU AREN'T JUST...ELOPING WITHOUT MY... *huff* PERMISSION!!"

the prefect jolted at the voice, "wait, grim?? how did you get here? and what do you mean eloping?"

jade, clearly perturbed, turned to see the small grey monster huffing and puffing as he made his way towards them, "i *huff* i climbed all the way up here! the slimy eel has long legs so it was *huff, huff* hard for me to keep up." the monster wiped his brow and jade felt something tick in his jaw at his words.

"listen up, ya overgrown pool noodle," jade readied a polite smile, which the monster flinched at. "t-that smile isn't gonna scare me! y-you're tryna run away and ask out my henchman in the woods, right? well i'm here to say that you won't succeed unless you get through me first!"

jade's perfect smile fell slightly at his words. did he just...ruin all his plans completely? he looked to the prefect, whose eyes were wide as saucers now. well. there was no hiding it now, it was better if he was forward with everything.

"my personal feelings for the prefect is none of your business, grim." if voices could cut, then jade's voice was a freshly sharpened kitchen knife.

"yes it is! me and the henchman are one person, so their business is my business!"

jade sighed, because arguing with grim was almost as pointless as arguing with floyd was. in the end, he accepted the monster's interruption, earning the small victory of holding the prefect's hand on their way down.

since then, jade would notice that grim would follow him around whenever he hung out with the prefect. whether it be in the gardens or even in mostro lounge the monster was there.

jade took it in stride, sending a menacing smile every once in a while, as he continued to court the prefect.

though he doesn't show it, he is a prideful man. and he wasn't willing to stoop down to a monster just to gain his approval.

and besides, if the prefect was already deeply in love with him, then there was no way that monster could convince them otherwise, right?

Ruggie Bucchi

it was all fun and games for ruggie, at the beginning. i mean, a magicless prefect? someone who he could manipulate with his unique magic however he wanted? someone like that was bound to be the target of his amusements.

and it grew especially entertaining for him when they bit him back, retaliating against his jabs with ones of their own, even going as far as to purchasing what ruggie wanted to purchase first.

but what he didn't know was, while he was busy stealing their wallet, they were busy unsuspectingly stealing his heart.

his body stiffened the moment he realized that the clamor in his chest wasn't just from the high of a successful heist, and that it was from the feeling of affection instead.

he decided that, after weeks of dancing around them, he would confess to them. and he had a pretty good plan.

first, he would steal their wallet, as usual. "hey- ruggie, not right now, i need that!" "don't you always, shishishi~"

second, slowly lead them away to a quieter corner. that was easy when the prefect wasn't one to give up a chase.

and third, he had them successfully cornered when he used a little bit of "laugh with me" to make them stay still for a moment

"ruggie, what-" "listen, prefect," ruggie rubbed the back of his neck as he released his unique magic. "actually, i..."

"you're a kidnapper, that's what you are!" and there's a cat pouncing on his back- why the hell was grim so heavy, again?? ruggie was sure that his claws distended his uniform in some way as grim used him as a springboard, jumping toward the prefect.

"how dare you take my henchman while i was looking away! and to what? to confess to them in some dark corner, like a...a creep?" grim jabbed a paw to ruggie's chest. "and don't tell me you didn't! i saw that! you gotta get through me if you wanna get to them!"

now, ruggie felt stupefied as he stared at the prefect, the cat having taken all the words from his mouth. so he smiled, as easy going as he could with his literal stomach in knots, "well, that's the correct answer! i'm tryna date you, prefect~"

after the incident, grim would always be there to steal the prefect's wallet from him, which was getting unfair, so he would always hit twice as hard. he used "laugh with me" to make grim do silly dances or even to hand the wallet back to him before he booked it. all that mattered to him was that the prefect was still smiling exasperated at their antics.

their smile was something he wanted to protect, after all. it was precious to him. even if it meant making an absolute fool of himself to ward off some cat-monster.

it would all be worth it as long as they continued to smile for him.

Jack Howl

jack didn't know what to expect when he met them. a human who didn't have a lick of magic that dared to go against leona? he had to admit that they had guts. and it was proven to him again and again.

from being an instrumental part to foiling leona's plan, to challenging azul to free everyone from their contracts, they were someone fearless who also carried a bleeding heart.

a heart that bled even for him. they had shown their care for him on multiple occasions, which he wasn't opposed to receiving at all.

so uh...how did human's court again? jack knew exactly how beastmen courted, but maybe it was kinda different in the human realm.

he decided to ask for advice. and maybe ace wasn't the best place to ask for advice, but he didn't exactly know a lot of..reliable people.

ace had grinned, "if you wanna woo someone, you gotta show them your strengths!"

his strengths, huh. jack had just the thing. a magift match he would be playing in.

he was more nervous than usual. and well, it's not like he could help it! he already decided that he wanted to court them and in wolf beastmen culture, that meant marriage. they only ever had one partner in their lifetimes, so he was quite serious about this.

maybe it was the extra adrenaline from the nervousness, but he performed very well, tanking through a few enemy attacks and even scoring his own hits.

so he jogged up to the prefect, and they seemed equally as ecstatic, "that was...so awesome! i mean that goal? where'd you learn to play like that??"

his tail started to wag, "well, that's just because i was playing for someone. i...wanted to make them proud, so i did my best." and jack swallowed. maybe this would be the perfect time to tell them how he felt? he didn't need to play a long game, he just...wanted to know if they felt the same...

"well i'm sure i can play better than he can!" ah. grim. he was sitting next to them, tail swishing angrily. "the big bad wolf tryna impress my henchman hmm? well my henchman has me, so ya gotta try harder to impress!"

"grim, this is why you're not on the magift tea-" "henchman. i'm tryna save you from getting eaten by him! he's tryna date you, ya know?"

jack.exe had stopped working. he was trying to what? i mean. it was true. but he was planning on taking it step by step. and now that plan was thrown out of the window.

"is that true, jack?" they asked with a dazed expression. and what was jack supposed to say? no? so he silently nodded.

"no way you can do that without my permission first!" grim said and oh. was it a human thing that you needed your family's approval to date? jack could understand it though. how could he date them when their only kind-of-family member hated his guts?

jack was enthusiastic in all his attempts to get closer to grim, and win his approval. he was not one to cheat on anything, and he wasn't about to start now.

he tried to wrack his brain on what would sway the little guy, and all he could think of was making him stronger- both academically and physically. whenever he and the prefect would have study dates, he would do mini tutoring lessons with grim to make sure he won't fail. and whenever he asked them to come practice flying, grim would have to tag along for the jog.

(he would 100% try to teach grim to hunt. but grim is just. atrocious at it. because he can't shut up. well, at least jack tried.)

if this was how life with the prefect would be, with a slightly inconvenient cat around, then jack wouldn't trade it for the world.

after all, he wanted them to be his one and only beloved, so he was willing to give up this much for it to happen.

Halloween with Them

Theme: Movie Night

Savanaclaw normally has one of the most laid-back Halloweens out of all the dorms. Some students would go hog wild, while others would rather just hang out in their rooms. It really did depend; as for events, though? Well, you’d have to convince a pretty lazy lion to host one, which isn’t going to be happening.

Since there was no event, most students just treated it like any other week leading up to the giant party that Night Raven was hosting. However, there were a few students who did want to celebrate in different ways.

Movies. Scary movies, to be exact. Who better to show these horror movies to than someone who has never seen horror movies in this world? So, of course, you being the prefect from another world, were invited by a very specific someone to watch one.

Leona Kingscholar

Honestly, it wasn’t Leona’s decision to watch a horror movie in the first place. It was Ruggie who sent you the invite to watch the movie with him and Leona, only to go out for one of his part-time jobs last minute because they needed someone to fill in. This wasn’t going to stop you from seeing the movie, though, you made the long and treacherous journey over to Savanaclaw to watch a horror movie, and you had every intention of doing just that.

You shuffled over onto Leona’s bed, getting yourself comfortable on your stomach as the lazy man looked over at you with an unimpressed glare, “Why are you still over here?” he asked before yawning. You raised an eyebrow at him, wondering why he was being so grumpy all of a sudden.

“I want to watch a horror movie with you? Pretty simple, really.” You said, booting up the movie. It was some slasher movie Ruggie had recommended to you. You were curious as to what the slasher films were like in this world, judging by how Ruggie said the main cast had a few beastmen in it. The anticipation was killing you as you got a bit more comfortable in your spot.

“Well, I don’t….” Leona grumbled but still saddled up right next to you. You couldn’t help but chuckle at his obviously fake annoyance. He would do just about anything if you asked him to, but like hell he’d ever admit to it.

“Well, then you can leave.” You pointed out and Leona looked at you with a pissed-off glare.

“You’re in my room.” He reminded you; the laugh that came out of your mouth was sharp while you moved a bit closer to him, your hip bumping against his own.

“Then guess you’re stuck watching this movie with me.” You cooed; the title finally came up, and the movie began at that moment. Not even five minutes into the film, you heard soft snoring next to you. Leona’s arms were propped against his forearms and were tilted towards you, almost on your shoulder, as he dozed off. You couldn’t help but think how adorable he looked when he was fast asleep.

Sadly his rest didn’t last long after the first jumpscare made you scream…he’d probably get over it later.

Ruggi Bucchi

“Ruggie, this was a horrible idea.” You said, smooshing your face against his chest. He was currently lying on his back while watching the movie upside down while you laid right on top of him on his chest. You thought it was going to be some cheesy horror movie, but oh no. He managed to pick out a psychological horror that was really screwing with you.

His arms wrapped around your waist as he chuckled at your reaction, “It’s not that scary.” He said, and you groaned, propping your head back up to see the screen. The scary part had ended, and Ruggie felt you visibly relax into him again as he mindlessly rubbed circles into your hips.

“You’re not even watching it; you’re watching me.” You pointed out, and his ears twitched at your accusation. He snickered and shook his head, resting to look at the movie. It was one he had already seen a while back and compared to what was out now, it was considered an older film. It didn’t much scare him, but you weren’t exactly from this world. The special effects that they could pull off in this Universe were leagues above what they could do in yours. Even the old films of this world rivaled the newest ones where you’re from.

“I told you I’ve already seen it,” Ruggie said, noticing the movie was almost over. Good thing, too, because he was getting a bit hungry and wanted to grab something to eat before you guys watched another movie. “You’re the one who suggested a horror movie marathon.”

While what he said was true, you hadn’t anticipated they’d be this scary. You were certain even horror movie fanatics who didn’t get scared where you’re from would be jumping from some of the special effects here. “I didn’t think you’d choose something like this….” You grumbled, and Ruggie gave you a soft squeeze.

“This is just the first movie. We’re starting off easy.” He teased before wiggling his eyebrows, “Don’t tell me you’re already chickening out.” He said, and you huffed.

“Have you seen all these movies?” You asked, and he nodded, “Then we’re finding horror movies that you haven’t seen and see how well you take it.” This got Ruggie to freeze in place with a far-off smile.

“How about no?” He said, wanting to appear braver by watching movies he already knew all the twists too.

“How about yes.”

Jack Howl

The pillow and the blanket fort were up, the snacks were scattered about, and the laptop had a faint glow to it as the movie's title screen appeared. Everything was perfect as you laid next to Jack on your stomach, close enough that your arms were just touching. The warmth he radiated was comforting compared to the gore-infested title screen that was currently flickering. The soft red glow of the fairy lights was the only other light source as you clicked the play button.

“So you seriously haven’t seen a horror movie in years?” You asked Jack, who was currently snacking on some beef jerky you had bought. He grunted, leaning in a bit closer to you so he could get a better view of the screen.

“Never seen the appeal.” He shrugged, “I know they’re just actors in a movie, so they’ve never been scary.” Damn, you wished you could be like him. At least he was there for when you screamed at jumpscares. From what you heard from Ace and Deuce, this movie was filled with them and terrifying scenes. Grim was currently off with them at the moment since he claimed that scary movies were a waste of time. This left you and Jack alone at Ramshackle to watch the movies all night long.

“Not even the jumpscares?” You asked, and he nodded, “Man, you’ve gotta be built differently. I know they’re just actors, but it doesn’t stop my mind from wandering, you know?”

“I get it,” Jack murmured as the movie finally started to take off. Midway through it, you found yourself grabbing onto Jack's bicep, squeezing it whenever you got scared and sometimes curling into him. You were cursing Ace and Deuce, judging by how they didn’t tell you the movie was about a serial killer who broke into homes. You were freaking out the entire time, and that’s when it happened.

The ending, when a flash of white text appeared in front of the black screen reading “Based on a true story.”

“You’re spending the night, Jack.” You said, already freaked out. His arm was now wrapped around you to hold you a bit closer, and he froze for a moment.

“You’re that scared?” Jack asked, not realizing just how much it terrified you. He knew the jumpscares got you, but he didn’t think you’d be forcing him into a sleepover.

“Didn’t you read the last part? Based on a true story? I ain’t staying here along with that. I don’t have magic or your muscles. If someone breaks in, you’re dealing with it.” You said, and Jack huffed. He guessed he could spend the night, judging by how you two were already in sweatpants. He’d have to ensure that next time you two did this, it wasn’t based on true events.

Eid Al-Ahda: Eid Al-Adha in Twisted Wonderland

·      MC might not be at home, but it doesn’t mean they can’t follow their traditions from home.

·      After talking to Kalim and Jamil, MC was able to figure out roughly when the time of Ramadan would be.

·      So, they chose that time to inform others of their decision, such as the teachers and their friends.

·      Mainly Ace, Deuce, and Grim, so they did not cause too much trouble, or they will have to deal with MC. Which after a particular glare from them, the trio was left quaking in their boots.

Leona Kingscholar:

·      When MC has told Leona, all they heard was silence.

·      Which was fine and all, they knew how Leona could be.

·      The beastman, despite looking like he was asleep, must have heard them.

·      MC smiled at the beastman and resisted patting him on the head.

·      It was after fasting for a few days and juggling classwork, that MC was feeling the fatigue set in.

·      They still had another 4 hours to go before they can break fast.

·      MC escaped to the botanical gardens to seek refuge from the noise and to relax in the shade.

·      Leona was already there and napping away, what a surprise really.

·      MC chose to sit next to him and surf the web.

·      They didn’t know when they fell asleep, all they remember is something pulling them in by the waist and then darkness.

·      “Herbivore, time to wake up.”

·      “Hmm…Leona-sempai?”

·      “It’s almost time to eat, let’s go Herbivore.”

·      “Eat?”

·      *Growl*

·      Silence.

·      Leona burst out in laughter.

·      MC felt their face heating up.

·      “Are you sure you’re not a beastman Herbivore? What a weak growl.”

·      “Shut up you pri-”

·      MC closed their mouths completely, choosing not to complete their sentence.

·      Leona smirked as MC followed him.

·      “What’s this? Prefect can’t use their usual insults against me?”

·      “I don’t know what you are talking about.”

Ruggie Bucchi:

·      If anyone would understand the difficulties of fasting, it would be Ruggie.

·      When MC explained the reasoning behind Ramadan, Ruggie had looked touched.

·      It wasn’t every day that someone would think of those the less unfortunate went through, especially in a villain’s school.

·      It wouldn’t be uncommon for MC to see Ruggie pop up now and then, with fresh fruits that MC could eat when the time came.

·      “Ah~ I’m hungry.” Ace complained.

·      “Weak.”

·      MC turned to Ruggie in surprise before they both burst out in laughter.

·      It was only by coincidence the trio has passed by him in the hallway.

·      Meanwhile, Deuce was smacking Ace on the head for mentioning his hunger around the Prefect.

·      “They said to act nor-ack!  Stop that Juice!”

·      “Ruggie-sempai, come join me for dinner today. I have more food than I could finish in one sitting.”

·      “Shishishi~ Count me in Prefect. A free dinner is always welcome in my book.”

Jack Howl:

·      Jack simply nodded his understanding to the Prefect’s practice.

·      MC couldn’t join him in their early morning jogs until the month was over.

·      Jack had understood that MC needed all the time to rest and conserve energy as much as they can.

·      “Just like a cactus.”

·      “Like a cactus?”

·      “Yes. Cactus are known to grow and thrive in harsh conditions, as you will be doing.”

·      MC didn’t know what to feel about being compared to a cactus, but seeing as it came from Jack; they’ll take it as a compliment.

·      Jack helped out when he could.

·      He was a very studious student, and when he noticed MC was tired or out of it; he made sure to make a copy of his notes.

·      Which he would give to the Prefect at the end of the day, MC could just hug him and never let go.

·      Instead, MC invited him to dinner with them.

·      The way he wagged his tail when he ate the dinner MC cooked, brought a smile to their face.

·     MC was touched by the help that their friends gave them during this time. It made the time pass much quicker, and it was fun spending time with them.

"hi hi (name) and ruggie! can i ask you guys a question?" kalim suddenly appeared out of nowhere with jamil - making theirselves welcomed by sitting next to you and ruggie in the cafeteria which is surprisingly almost empty.

well almost.

"no you canno-"

"sure you can!" you said and then drinking from your water bottle, youcould see the dorm leader having a very curious look on his face while the vice leader just gave you two a shrug as if telling 'once you get kalim's attention, there is no way out.'

as if getting a permission to get his favorite cookie from the cookie jar, kalim didn't wait any second and finally asking the question that all of your friends had been wondering about.

"how long have you two been together?"

jamil could swore he just watched the funniest thing in his life, ruggie accidentally dropping his doughnut while you spat your water at the dorm leader making him let out a screech in surprise.

"what was that for?!"

"what do you mean going out?" "we are just friends, right ruggie?!" when your eyes met bluish-gray ones for a moment before the hyena looked at the other side and for some reason you could see a faint blush on his cheeks and his ears flat on his head

hearing the commotion, another cry was heard from somewhere in the room. "what do you mean you aren't dating?! so all this time you've been flirting as friends?!" it turns out it was ace with a really dumbfounded look as if learning the earth isn't flat at all

"yeah! where did you get the idea of us dating anyway?" you cannot avoid the odd look ace threw at you, making it difficult to fight off the butterflies in your stomach.

'yeah i do like ruggie but what do you guys mean by dating? he doesn't look at me in that way right?'

"oh gosh are you two for real now? i mean everyone already knows everything except for the two of you." jamil whispered before calmly eating his curry, very invested in the situation.

everyone then turn to ruggie who finally let out a sigh before standing up and still avoiding your gaze. without any word, he grabbed you by your wrist, dragging you until you two reach the botanical garden.

"ok ruggie, tell me what is wrong right now or i will-"

“how do i know if i have a crush on someone?” a crush? ruggie is crushing on someone? it hurt you a bit but nevertheless you gave him your answer

“well, you can’t stop thinking about them, you feel strange when they’re around, and then you want to— why are you looking at me like that.” you tried giving him your best death glare but in his view? you literally look like an angry pomeranian making him laugh and ruffle your head.

"nah, never mind. you really look cute today."

"thank- wait what?!"

"i said you look like a wild goose."

"hey that is not nice! but, you know?" all of a sudden, you gave ruggie a big back hug while nuzzling your face into his back - not minding his shocked gasp at your actions. "what are you doing?"

"would it be weird if i told you i like you right now?"

"... i like you too now give me my hug again." you guys end up cuddling under the big tree, falling asleep in each other's arms.

and he got stuck in that tree until dawn - falling asleep eventually.

Summary: Ruggie and MC are cleaning Leona's room together, and yet still count it as a "date".

"I don't ask for much! The least he could do is say thank you!" Ruggie had a little melt down as both him and his s/o, MC, cleaned Leona's room.

MC folded the housewarden's clothes whereas the heyena boy sweeped the floor below. Dust flew everywhere as the bristles of the broom brushed across the ground. "Honestly. This place is a mess! Filthy!!"

"Perhaps he purposely makes it messy to spite you?" "He better not be doing that because I swear...."

The human chuckled softly at their boyfriend's reaction at the adult man. They watched as his ear flicked at the dust touching it. "I feel like I may end up graduating before him at this rate. He's 20 years old and still in high school!"

Leona wasn't the best housewarden, but he definitely isn't the worst.... A lot of the students at NRC consider Riddle to be the worst with his strict and mean attitude.

"You're so sweet, Ruggie...." "I am?" "Mhm. You'll make the perfect husband one day."

MC turned to see the sophomore's ears straightened and his tail wagging. His tanned light-skin face was flushed with a soft red. The teen looked down at his feet and poured while saying, "Yeah.... Well.... I'm sure you'll make a wonderful spouse as well...." "Really? How so?"

Ruggie stopped sweeping for a moment to think. He sucked at his teeth to look up at his head, almost like he was trying to talk to his brain. "Well you're a good listener. You're sweet, caring, and you've saved all our butts maybe once or twice. You're someone to look up to and I really like that.."

It was MC's turn to blush now, stopping what they were doing to look at their boyfriend with wide eyes. When Ruggie saw their reaction to his words, he gave a toothy grin. "That's in my eyes at least. You're just... Perfect...." He went back to "his" chore, almost acting as if that didn't happen.

They finally finished cleaning Leona's room, knowing it'll be messy again in less than a week. MC sighed before stretching their arms. "Well this date was half decent."

"Date?! You considered this a date?" Ruggie flinched at MC's words, turning to look at them. They had that soft smile that he was so familiar with. It felt like he was falling in love again.

With a close-eyed smile, MC said, "Well of course. Anywhere by your side I'd consider a date. Whether that's at school or doing work around the dorm. I just need you next to me."

Ruggie didn't know what to say.

He will admit, their first official meeting wasn't the greatest. They caught him in the act of ruining the Magift Tournament and they were instant enemies. Back then, he would've never have seen himself end up dating the person that once hated him.

Well.... MC didn't hate him. Just was more disappointed in his actions. But they're all fine now.

Once again, his tail started wagging. He couldn't help but leap into his s/o's arms with joy at their words. They laughed for a moment, only to have the moment ruined by a gruff voice saying, "Move it, lovebirds..."

They both separated to step aside and out of the way for the tall man to walk past. Leona then flopped on his bed and immediately got comfortable. MC grabbed Ruggie's hand and pulled him away with a goofy grin on their face.

The boy tripped over his own feet for a moment out of surprise, but picked himself up and walked at the same pace as them. "Let's get some donuts for you. Okay, Ruggie?" They turned back to show another smile of their's to their boyfriend. Both teens gripped on to each other's hands tighter almost afraid that the other was going to let go.

Yeah. It didn't matter where they were in that twisted wonderland.... They needed each other. That was something both of them knew for a fact.
