The two of you were in the backseat tired from running all throughout town. Rollo’s head was determined to stay up and not fall under the spell of sleep. Yours not so much. Back when the two of you were running up and down the bell tower it was very lively, but now is a different story. Perhaps it was not the best idea to have run around the old bell tower. 

Misty eyes formed as a yawn escaped your lips. Terrified to fall asleep first as you tried to keep the dazzling night sky in view. Looking out the window to distract yourself from falling asleep seemed to be the only thing you could do. Eyes still gazing out the window you whispered “I love you” casually with happiness. It felt fresh finally being able to say those words. 

Near your ear was a soft blow of a wind from Rollo. Certain his face was set a flame, yet he managed a response. It seems it didn’t matter how tired Rollo was, he always had time to respond to his lover. 

“I too feel that way about you _______. I love you. I hope… I never lose you.” 

That was it. With those words your eyes became covered in darkness, but it wasn’t horrendous. You felt safe knowing Rollo was beside you. What a dazzling way to end your date. 

Noticing his lover’s eyes fall to a world of sweet dreams Rollo was certain he was next. Not that he would ever admit it out loud of course. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to sleep, he most certainly did. However, Rollo left one more gift for you, a ring. Nothing too fancy, just one he felt matched you well. 

Rollo crossed paths with this ring during his town walks. Before he knew it, there before him was a simple ring adorned with a burgundy gemstone for you. Taking your hand in his, Rollo slipped it onto your fingers. Choosing the middle finger of your left hand because it reminded him of how you first met. 

When the two of you first met Rollo was amid a mental breakdown. Angered from his actions you gave him the middle finger out of spite. That action has been burned into his memory ever since. So as a small laughing matter he lovingly placed it onto your middle finger. 

That wasn’t the only reason for that position though. Placing a ring on such a finger meant balance and responsibility. In a way Rollo wanted it to symbolize his change in character towards you. How he’ll take responsibility for you as your lover. How he’ll balance being from a different school for his relationship. How he needs both to have you. 

Smiling to himself, proud of his accomplishment, Rollo tilted his head onto your shoulder. Leaning on you, not a bad feeling. He thought to himself as finally Rollo’s eyes fell under the weight of exhaustion.

Ikemen Vampire vol.2 includes: Vincent, Theo, and Napoleon!! Originally, I wanted to include Shakespeare and Arthur as well, but it's been quite a trip to get their specific hair color.

Ikemen Villain includes the new trio of Nika, Ring, and Darius. For next volume I plan on including Roger, Liam, William, Ellis, and Victor. Fingers crossed I can get all of them done!
