So…in episode one, why weren’t the Ocelots disqualified from the building competition? Everyone saw Aiden break the block that made the lava flow out, and I’m sure people heard him yell about it just being dyed wool since they were all gathered around to watch the machine. It was obvious sabotage, depending on the choice it cost Jesse’s team their hard work, and even if it didn’t, it still set Reuben on fire. Plus it wasn’t even his own build that he broke! Did the judges just not care? Did Aiden sweet-talk his way out of it somehow? I don’t understand why they were still allowed in the competition, let alone the winners if the build did get destroyed.

GRAAAA I LOVE LUKAS!!!! I could have also drawn Jesse for this prompt (technically I did lolol) cause he’s just me irl, but I’m too attached to Lukas tbh. I was playing the first episode in my living room and my brothers were very concerned at my hollering whenever he was on screen. I just think he’s so neat, and I love his interactions with Jesse if you couldn’t tell. The cookie scene is actually my Roman Empire. I’m mostly attached to Lukas’ witherstorm arc design, as that’s what I grew up with, but I adore his dumb goggles too much to not add them on his casual outfit. I also like giving him a mole, I think it’s cute. I love when he drops his chill attitude to let out a snarky remark, it’s hilarious. And I love Dewy too, so he gets to be here.

aw hell nah we got jesse mcsm headcanons before gta 6

i dont really have set in reasons as to why i made each jesse have these personality traits other than going off of what the streamers i watch chose and the associated personality that they gave every jesse

as ive been remarking every mcsm blog i have in fact been watching rtgame mcsm… his 2024 playthrough had asshole jesse and i just cant get it out of my head. asshole jesse is such a personality… so i gave red suspenders that vibe. i got a comment on one of my blogs that suggested kwite’s stream/playthrough and after watching it i just like. i appreciate kwite’s genuine enjoyment of the game (but he’s definitely like acknowledging of mcsm’s flaws) and gave green suspenders jesse more or less how he played his jesse. i havent seen a single playthrough with yellow suspenders jesse at all, but i think he would be very kind. he just has that vibe <3

also if youre curious here’s how i think they made most of the important decisions in the game…

red: consistently chooses petra over lukas, picks ellegard’s armor, chooses not to help romeo at the end of season 2, is stern with radar, scornful of ivor & associated order, but then endears to ivor and finds him tolerable, is combat-efficient

*in instances where he does mess up, he tries to play it off

*toward the end of s1 and even moreso in s2, he loosens up and is a bit less prickly, but still has a deadpan delivery and pessimistic outlook.

green: chooses petra at first, but endears to lukas in the dirt hut and begins to pick him, chooses petra only in the PAMA episode, (panicked and picked whoever was closest), helps romeo, is a bit strict with radar but more in a mentor way, distrusts ivor consistently until he joins them for the portal arc, where he endears to him, is regretful over the order’s disband, picked magnus’s armor, good enough at combat but definitely misses often

yellow: chooses petra most of the time, picks lukas during PAMA arc, helps romeo, always tries to be on the good side of all characters, is kind to radar and treats him like a brother, tries to see the good in everyone and gives ivor (and the order) a second chance, picked magnus’s armor, (but did go with olivia to ellegard initially,) tries to minimize combat as much as possible but can hold his own well enough

Hello tumblr user sopuu. Is there anything in mcsm series that you would change? Multiple things? If so, what?

under cut coz it’s long whoops,, tldr i wish the characters were more involved and fleshed out, both in backstories and their arcs bc there’s so much potential!! the groundwork is there!! but ig now it’s up to us to fill in the gaps 💪

hmm well most of my gripes with the game are mostly in character writing— like how some character arcs could be more consistent with the message the narrative is trying to give (ahem. petra)

there’s also some who are just tossed aside or are barely given arcs themselves. i’m mainly talking about olivia and axel here but lukas as well, bc a lot of the times he’s just kinda there to occasionally give a bit of dialogue or be the punching bag of the story— i mean just look at how many times he can (almost) die lmao. he doesn’t get to complain a lot despite what he goes through, and while i get he’s the type to bottle things up i feel like the narrative is too scared to let him get mad and have Emotions bc they want so badly to paint the picture of “fan-favourite nice guy pretty boy” and never deviate from it.

ig what i’m trying to say is characters in a story should feel like they’re actually involved in the world and in the narrative rather than be a decoration, no matter if they’re part of the main cast or just a simple supporting character. i just want more lukas pleas,,,

oh and other thing! i wish there was more backstory. ik dropping only small hints and nothing more is a good tactic to get the audience to theorise n stuff but i feel like there’s a little too little. like the warden, cassie, even the admins— they drop a few important lines of backstory and then it’s never brought up again... i’d love for them to have made side story episodes that are shorter but focus on one or a few characters just doing some slice of life-y things or to get a taste of the other storylines going on during the main one (like lukas’ rebellion era) just to expand on them more.

and yeah ig that’s all? i probably have more to say but can’t think of it rn. despite the criticism tho i still think it’s a fun game! otherwise i wouldn’t be here lol. just as it has it’s pros it also has it’s cons yknow
