Have You Tasted McDonald's India’s Newest Cheesy Surprise Yet?
Tumblr media
What’s the best thing about McDonald’s in India? Is it its exquisite menu or its ability to add delicious items every time? Whenever you think you have tasted it all, McDonald’s India comes up with a new surprise and this time it is McDonald's new cheeseburger that has caught all the attention.
Unlike its US counterpart, McDonald’s cheeseburger meal in India does not contain beef. So, what is it made of then?
Let’s have a look at what the Indian McDonald’s Cheese Burger is made of
Bun
McDonald’s cheeseburger uses a regular bun.
Patties
For vegetarians, McDonald's cheeseburger uses veg patties and for non-vegetarians it uses chicken.
Cheese
It consists of locally sourced fresh cheese.
Ketchup
Of Course like every burger there has to be ketchup in the cheeseburger too.
Pickle
It also has a tangy pickle to fill your mouth with extra flavour.
Onions
Well, how can we forget the onions that give all McDonald's burgers their crunch.
Mustard
It has a mustard sauce to give you the taste of some heat.
What does it not contain?
McDonald’s Cheese Burger meal does not contain any artificial flavours, preservatives or colour. No synthetic products are used in the making of a McDonald’s item. However, the pickle may contain an artificial preservative but it can be removed while making your order if selected.
How can you order?
Cheeseburger is available at your nearest McDonald’s outlet and you can also order this fresh addition to the McDonald’s menu online through its website or McDelivery app.
McDonald’s is known for its quick, cheap & delicious meals and in the quest to keep their consumers interested and away from competitors they are also known for creating some amazing, one-of-its-kind menu items. McDonald’s cheeseburger meal is one such menu item and it is available at your nearest McDonald’s outlet.
Go, grab it today!

McDonald’s Singapore has brought back the Samurai Burgers with a couple of new allies - Tamago Samurai Burgers. They come in beef or chicken patty with a “crispy”, succulent fried egg! I am kind of interested in the “crispy” egg adjective used in their promotional materials.

I went with the Tamago Samurai Chicken Burger Meal (S$8.95) and topped up an extra S$0.80 to change the gassy drink into a small Ice Green Tea. The burger featured a tender chicken thigh patty dipped into teriyaki sauce with a fried egg on top. All these sandwiched with crispy lettuce and creamy mayo between sesame seeds buns. The whole burger is wet with the sweet and savoury teriyaki sauce. Biting into the burger, there isn’t anything crispy inside, it is just a normal fried egg and there is nothing crispy about it. With the egg however, it seems to impart a more wholesome flavour to the sweetish chicken burger. I like it…

Since it is a better value when you purchase the Extra Value Meal, I bought mum the Filet-O-Fish Meal (S$5.50) which comes with a medium French Fries and a drink which I promptly changed to a small Ice Lemon Tea for S$0.80 more.

Mum asked for a burger since she wasn’t too hungry, so I went to McDonald’s Singapore to buy her one. Picked two burger meals from the McSaver Meals range which cost between S$5 to S$6 depending on which of the three you selected. With food prices going up and up, it is good to be able to enjoy a meal without breaking the bank.

Got myself the Double Cheeseburger Meal (S$6) which includes a medium French Fries and a gassy drink which I promptly changed to a small Mocha Frappé (top up S$1.25). Love the juicy 100% beef patties with cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and a dollop of tomato ketchup, all in a perfectly soft bun.

Mum was craving for her black coffee so when I bought her the Filet-O-Fish Meal (S$5.50), I swapped her cold drink to that of a Black Coffee. Also changed the fries to the new mildly spiced Potato Pops by adding one dollar.

On checking out at the online order kiosk, I was given a few selections with some discount, so I picked up the just released Corn Pie for S$1.60. The creamy sweet corn filling reminded me of the canned corn kernels. I think I tasted coconut milk in there too. Overall, I found it to be pleasant tasting and agreeable to my palate.

“Where we going?”
“Mc Donalds :D”
“It’s 3 am ??”

Tbh I would be pissy at first but then I might be a little bit begrudgingly charmed. Who doesn’t want McDonald’s?
