Nighttime is dangerous in MCD, especially if you aren't in a village. Thankfully many people learn to adapt and can see somewhat in the dark. Guards in training are put though at training exercises where they train to fight and live the dark. Werewolves and Meif'was are naturally able to see fully in the dark. Shadow knights gain the ability after they are turned, and ghosts can after they die.

Chapter 2 is out! I also changed chapter one and fixed some typos. The biggest change is that there is no more chapter zero. 🐈‍⬛️😺😻🐱

Something about Aaron saving Nekoette and Dante immediately, and then spending his free time with Nekoette and Dmitri (and the other children sometimes) is really sweet

Nana and Dante having a sweet and pure family,,,, giving Aaron a warmth and love he once lost and never thought he’d experience again. Aaron spending his time with the kids means in turn with Nana… Dante appreciating how much Aaron loves and cares for his family in his own, and undeniably cute, way…. they’re all around the same age and Aaron would respect Dante and Nana sm and think they’re hot what who said that??

Literally i am probably the only person in the world who ships this but i SEE THE VISION…
