i feel like dark has the tendency to disappoint one mun's expectations after another bc yeah he looks the way he does but then he's like. he's easy to rile up but it's difficult to actually get him to fight (because of daisuke) and he's never killed anyone + he's chaotic good and not human and his entire basis of theft operates on that so his morality turns blue and orange to some people + he's a flirt but as soon as anybody actually starts showing signs of interest in him all of his internal sirens and warning bells start going off so he starts to avoid them and push them away + a very real part of his true, legitimate personality is tsundere and awkward as hell + he's cringe + despite it all, the power of love is very real to him

Do you find it weird Leela for some reason doesn't trust Brax in the newer gallifreys even though she has no reason to distrust him 🤔

Tbh it's one of those small things that kinda ruin the consistency between s1-6 and further audios for me. Like the only weird thing Brax did is appearing from out of nowhere but he didn't do anything to ot3 to ruin their trust (until Soldier Obscura at least). Like Narvin not trusting Brax is valid, they are not besties. Romana and Leela, however, seemed to trust Brax more before. Mb it's just an Enemy Lines issue tho 🤔

#me being me #gallifrey audios #idk idk there are many small things in post-s6 that kinda scratches me the wrong way and Brax's case is one of those #we don't count war room i think war room is 1) less like a typical gallifrey series #2) has a dynamic that I would expect from the characters #mb I'm nitpicking tho #its just weird because Leela explicitly says she trusts Brax in s2 or s3 I think #and Brax is pretty much the only person who treats her equally from the start #(I mean even Romana calls her savage and kinda laughs off her instincts a bit and the change in that is a part of her character arc etc etc #but idk seems like Brax is the person Leela and Romana shouldn't have issues trusting #or...mb i should relisten to the series again

i really want to get into pjo, hoo, etc. but every single time i'm about to i get scared off by something that dissuades me. like. gods damn it.

I’m staying with my parents where my step mom cooks 3 meals a day every day and I have to explain to her that my low appetite isn’t just something I can eat 3 full meals through.

They saved me a plate of dinner and I ate like… 1/4 of it at best before shaking overtook everything. It’s been 4 hours and I’m only just starting to feel the onset of new hunger pains and wondering if it’s worth going down to try more of the plate or just eat a granola bar and call it a day.

I feel like at the worst of my eating disorder I wasn’t even eating this little. I’d eat more if I could but I really truly can’t and it sucks to face 3 delicious meals a day (she’s the best cook I’ve ever met) and not be able to eat them.

I hate what my body is doing and the fact that I can’t pull out of this never ending sense of drowning.

#speaking of illness. they don’t think I should spend that much on an ultrasound for my cat.#the signs all point to cancer. and I can’t treat her if it is #I can’t treat her regardless of what it is tbh so they’re wondering if it’s worth spending that much and stressing her out #an ultrasound would be an extremely long all day affair that would just about break us both #her behaviour hasn’t changed yet despite the physical changes so I have time to figure out if I want to watch her die and for how long #my life is fun 🙃#mb
