my favorite scully moments from s2

after the x-files are shut down, she gets moved to teach at the academy, and in episode 1 she does a little monologue on how a person’s body is a physical manifestation of a lifetime, which one of the students describes as “spooky”

when mulder sneaks off to puerto rico in the same episode, she goes into his place to try and figure where tf he went, and prevents his sneaking about being caught by the investigators who broke into his home with the power of feeding his fish

lecturing about the dangers of eating raw steak in episode 2, then getting lost down a rabbit hole of worm science

when no one was answering the door in episode 3, she just walks in. this made me laugh hysterically, i cannot explain. both of these guys WILL enter your home.

every single time she is a bit of a medical nerd, like when she learns about the surgery that allowed people to survive without sleep in episode 4, which she describes as “incredible”

(and the freckles + flower earrings combo were also a fave)

when she scans the piece of metal that came from duane barry in a grocery store in episode 6, and the cash register goes crazy. and she denies involvement and just walks away LMAOOO <- honestly i'd do the same!!

she wakes up from her coma in episode 8 and wants to write a thank you note to the nurse that took such good care of her, only to learn no such nurse ever existed. scully got to witness the paranormal for once!!!!

in episode 9, someone brings up a volcano scientist in conversation, and she says she had heard he was brilliant, which means that somehow she is keeping up with volcano news. she is a woman of many layers.

being deeply worried about this scared looking grad student she just met, and once again not waiting for an answer to enter her room and figure out if she is okay

(and when said grad student is being consumed by a fungus, scully thinks quickly enough to get herself locked behind a door, keeping herself safe, despite being handcuffed and otherwise looking death by fungus in the face)

in episode 11, mulder walks into his office, only to learn she has been there and has been going through his stuff since 6 in the morning. queen of getting results!

in the same episode, an old man overdoses on mushroom pills, and she shifts into Doctor Mode, yelling about “ventricular fibrillation” and “milligrams of lidocaine” and it was, like every other time she goes Doctor Mode, so deeply satisfying to watch

when she meets the two cops in episode 12, and can immediately tell they are having an affair and that the detective is pregnant, and despite the detective pleading with her not to tell a soul, the absolute MILLISECOND she is reunited with mulder, she spills the tea. and he is SHOCKED! <- arguably my favorite moment in the entire series so far

(and, to make the woman feel more comfortable, she confesses to also having had feelings for coworkers before which. elaborate on that, please)

but she really does care; when the detective ends up in the hospital, scully brings her a change of clothing <3

when she is so shaken by what she sees in episode 13 that she goes to the FBI’s onsite therapist; she’s too scared to tell mulder how she feels because “i don’t want him to feel like he has to protect me”

(as if there was ever going to be a choice; he is the protector and he Will protect, it's just his nature)

((and then later sobbing into his arms, realizing she doesn’t have to always put on a front))

toads start falling from the sky in episode 14, so she rationalizes that they likely came from a nearby tornado. this is a scully-approved theory.

they’re investigating a murder in the same episode, and a teenager starts pouring her absolutely horrific trauma out to both of them, scully holds her while she sobs into her jacket

honestly any time either of them know weird information, i love it. she says that it would take hours for a snake to eat a man and then weeks for it to digest in episode 14, and mulder makes some funny remark but it’s sooo endearing to me. she knows her snake facts.

then in episode 15, she notes poison in someone’s blood, but specifically that the poison comes from pufferfish eaten in Japan… girl i’m crying, she just knows stuff!

during that same case, they get rooms near each other like always, and she knocks on a door thinking it’s mulder’s. he doesn’t answer. she walks in and hears water running, so she just talks to him through the door to the bathroom. and i love this so much. i love that they are close enough to just walk into each other’s rooms and talk from behind the door while the other showers. it’s such married behavior.

working on the case in episode 16, we see her at home wearing a flannel, checking her computer, still serving looks but now giving casual

(and seeing the art she keeps on her walls- little postcards of beach scenes <3)

in the same episode, she knows mulder left to go get himself in trouble, so she bursts into skinner’s office to ask for help. but she feels bad for barging in on skinner, so she apologizes to him. which was very sweet.

when mulder is gone, she goes to his apartment to look for clues, and falls asleep on his couch

(and when X knocks on the door, she knows he is hiding something, and screams at him to tell her where he is)

this whole monologue from episode 17, which i loved more than life itself:

“several aspects of this case remain unexplained, suggesting the possibility of paranormal phenomena. but i am convinced that to accept such conclusions is to abandon all hope of understanding the scientific events behind them. many of the things i have seen have challenged my faith and my belief in an ordered universe, but this uncertainty has only strengthened my need to know, to understand, and to apply reason, to those things which seem to defy it”

(and that is just Her, isn't it? the need to understand, to rationalize. the worldview shaped on science- if she doesn't understand something, it's because a key piece is missing, and she'll find it. because the world Has to work that way, has to be bound by a greater logic, even if it is yet to be understood. to imagine otherwise would be impossible, to imagine otherwise would be to abandon hope in everything, and she cannot abandon hope)

((and maybe the idea that the world being something she cannot perfectly comprehend is a failing of her own understanding makes me a little emotional. but still))

she says that the whole loaves and fishes deal was a parable in episode 21; she is not a biblical literalist

(she then makes some sassy remark about things generating spontaneously, and mulder laughs in the corner. good to know he thinks she is funny)

every single time she answers the phone, she says “mulder, it’s me”, and idk i just think it’s so endearing

she thinks she might have been infected with a killer disease in episode 22, but mulder calls, so she tells him she’s okay and to take care of himself out there.... those are the last words she chooses, just in case they never talk again </3

and every time she says unsettling things, like “could be the residue of burnt human flesh” or “darkness covers a multitude of sins”, both in episode 23, i eat that up

reassuring her student who has just become a detective that she is doing just fine!!!

and then going to said student's funeral when things do not turn out fine... she loves her students that she taught for like 3 months so much :(

getting pulled aside by skinner and her bosses after mulder just acted wild in episode 25, and denying that she had seen any top secret files even though they say they will fire her if she lies lmaooo <- she is a ride or die!!!

but also going to his place, demanding assurance that she is doing the right thing by assisting him, and i love that. i love a character who will break all of the rules as long as they believe they are doing the thing that is morally Right, and that definition is so deeply her own, but she is committed to it, and she'll do anything to stick by it. and he just says something about getting the code that he wants broken, and despite how awful he's being, she goes through with it anyway because it's the Right thing to do.

later, her being the one to realize that mulder should not leave the house after his father was killed because he will be the prime suspect (he does not listen to this sound advice)

he stumbles into her place with a million degree fever, and she carefully lays him down in her own bed, despite the fact that he is soaked in his dead father's blood. and she takes care of him.

this one honestly deserves its own post because it is so incredible, but: shooting mulder with enough precision to get him to knock off his wild behavior that was going to make him look like he killed his dad, but not actually HURT him, then finding out krychek was putting LSD in his water, knocking him out, and driving 2 days to New Mexico to get him where he needed to be. AFTER he had been acting wild because he was inadvertently drugged, and had accused her of spying on him and being a traitor. that level of love is deep. very very deep. she is a Lover.

it starts innocently enough.

you're folding laundry, seated on the living room floor, and he's leaning against the door frame. he looks bored but you aren't ignorant to the tiniest of details - he's got that look that says he's thinking about something that won't end well for anyone.

"do you remember the dress you wore six weeks ago?" he asks suddenly, voice flat and steady, like he's reading over questions for evidence.

you snort. "i barely remember what i wore two days ago.. narrow it down a little?"

"hm.. the black one. thin straps, tight.. had a slit up the side that almost kept you from getting in the car."

finally looking over to him again, you raise a brow. he's not smiling, there's no amusement, not even an ounce of satisfaction in the recall.

he's just watching, like always. calm, intent, like he's building up to something.

"you wore those heels you don't like, the makes that make your calves flex really nice when you walk," he continues, waving his hand a little, dismissive. "i noticed."

you pause your folding, setting the shirt down in your lap. "is this.. going somewhere, babe?"

he, of course, does not acknowledge your question. "that was the night you didn't wear a bra. correct?" his head tips slightly, almost like he's expecting you to tell him he's wrong. it feels like a challenge.

you can feel heat beginning to flood your cheeks, eyebrows pulling together slightly. you part your lips to repeat your question, but it's silenced.

"i remember the way the fabric would shift every time you took a breath.. barely moved, but it was there. every time you exhaled, it settled in a way that looked.. soft. though, when you inhaled, it was tight enough i could easily see your nipples."

"tim-" you tried, again, without success.

"i'm not done."

it wasn't firm or demanding but you surely forgot how to breathe.

"you wore your hair down, didn't feel like bothering with it. i remember because it kept getting in your eyes.. i pushed it back when i kissed you by the elevator. strawberry lip gloss. smudged, but who's business was that besides mine?"

he finally pulls away from the doorframe and steps closer; it's calculated and unhurried.

"you arched into me when i pressed you against the wall.. made that cute little sound, the one where you inhale so sharp you might choke, when i bite your neck. you melted so easily for simple little touches."

your pulse is in your ears, fingers curled around the forgotten shirt. your skin feels like it's tingling and you kept help but shift, suddenly becoming far too aware of the arousal brought on by nothing but his voice. his tone. the way he says things like he'd rather be anywhere else.

"i remember the way your thighs clenched and how you gripped by shirt when i finally slid my hand beneath your dress.. i teased you about how the wrinkles would be hell to deal with." there was a ghost of a smirk but it only lasted half a second. "i remember how warm you were.. how wet, how you grabbed my wrist and whined."

he wet his bottom lip. for show. he wasn't oblivious to how you stilled, doing your best to let the words roll off of you - you had fully accepted it as a challenge, even if you still didn't know where it was all coming from.

"you begged me not to stop."

you swallow, not even focused enough to realize he'd gotten so close, crouching in front of you - dark hair a mess, eyes flickering and sharp as ever.

he still didn't touch you. you still didn't know what was going on.

"do you remember any of this? i could feel you shaking.. beneath my fingertips, through my slacks. i remember the way you tipped your head onto my shoulder when you all but wrapped yourself around my thigh, scared i would stop."

he takes a deep breath before letting it out, elbow settling on his leg so he could prop his cheek against his curled fingers. "the way your hips moved on their own like you couldn't help it. it's a shame you couldn't see yourself, honestly."

he shakes his head a little and takes a second to study you. the way you struggle to make eye contact, the way you've been rubbing your thumb over the tag of his shirt. he clicks his tongue, a faint sound - he's amused.

"you made this.. sound, when i told you i wasn't going to let you come. it was so soft - involuntary - right against the side of my neck."

you are battling between the only two options you have: tell him to shut up, throw the shirt at him, and get up to walk away. or, you could reach for him, ask to be touched.

neither option will go how you expect it to, you already know that. and tim doesn't seem like he's got an end in sight to his recollection.

"do you remember what you said? you left nail marks in my wrist as you spoke." his tone sharpened slightly, still controlled. "i believe it was something along the lines of; 'please, tim.. i can't take it, just your fingers, please.' actually, i know that's what you said. i can still hear it in my head."

you feel like you're on fire, thighs clenching, stomach twisting. your knuckles are white around the shirt. and tim? he's just cataloguing every reaction like it's an experiment.

he moves, far too slow, and reaches to brush his fingertips against your cheek, leaning close enough to brush his lips against your temple, voice low enough for only you to hear.

"i told you no, didn't i? i said i wanted to watch you fall apart just from what i was saying to you? and, you did. bit into my shoulder, your thighs squeezing so hard around my hand."

you can feel the way his lips curve as your eyes close, fingers flexing as you ignore the urge to grab onto him. whatever game he's playing has to have an end, right? a good one, you want to hope.

his lips trace down along your cheek and over the corner of your lips - so close, yet somehow, miles away. you can feel his breath against them and you swallow the whimper threatening it's way out.

"do you want me to tell you what i want to do to you right now?"

you nod. just barely as you open your eyes.

he moves to pull away and it's on instinct the way you reach for him, hands moving without thinking. you're between wanting to sob and wanting to tell him you'll do it yourself if he won't.

his fingers catch your wrist and his eyebrow twitches, just barely. "don't touch."

you let out a sound you'll refuse to acknowledge later on, attempting to tug your hand back. "tim, come on-"

"you don't get to touch me, not yet."

his expression has shifted into something even you can't read. he's calm - not in the usual sense but in a way that makes your chest ache. like he's blatantly ignoring how badly you need him. like he's.. punishing you.

you shake the last thought off. that's ridiculous.

that is, until he steps back.

"you want me..? want my hands, my mouth?" he asks, "you want to drag me down, tear apart the last half hour of patience? repeat all of the things i can vividly recall?"

you just nod, knowing that if you talk, it probably won't be heard. you've close to begging - vibrating under your skin with need.

he studies you. eyes scanning from top to bottom, taking in every single detail he can spot. and finally, he speaks;

"no."

the world feels like it tilts and you blink - once, then twice. the word echoes in your thoughts and you suddenly feel dizzy.

"you don't get that, not tonight. you get to sit there, alone, and remember all of this. let it replay over and over.. i want you to feel it, need it, even."

you can't even find a response at first, not sure if you want to cry or if you're in legitimate shock. "what.. i- why?"

pushing his hands into his pockets, tim gives you a small smile. it's soft - it's so painfully soft - but also the meanest little smile you've ever seen.

"this is what you get for letting your phone die when you were gone for three days."

you freeze. your mouth feels dry, your muscles ache.

"don't worry, i found your hotel just to make sure you didn't disappear," he continues, shrugging like it means nothing but you can tell it means everything. "i barely slept, you know that? waited for the worst - waited to hear your name on the news, the radio.. some shittily written article."

his jaw flexes, teeth clenching together hard enough to hurt. "and you.. christ, you didn't even think to find a way to call. charge your damn phone. nothing. you're lucky i decided to wait and didn't stop by."

the way he spoke made you sink. tim wasn't afraid to show when he was angry, never, but you could see more than anger in the way his eyes darkened, the way his tone became clipped - yet he was still so disturbingly calm.

"i wanted you to know what it felt like," he said, dry, turning on his heel to leave the room, "to crave contact that you can't have."

with that, he left, leaving you to process and wrap your head around the convoluted game he just played with not only your mind, but your body.

uh, for people who are not Aware of programming languages in the ultrakill fandom... the #INCLUDE {blood, formal_blood} FROM "d29tY9==" line is not "confirming" anything in regards to what v1 has in its body anatomically. you can kind of synthesize what it is actually saying based on how different programming languages work and how they are structured.

lines like these are typically used to reference information found in another file like header files (which #INCLUDE is more specifically used in C/C++). header files contain declarations for things like functions, classes, macros, etc. given that we don't know what v1's programming is like fully, maybe it's even referencing some kind of library. but regardless, this is the sort of thing that is happening in lines like these, which are par for the course with programming, especially for things as complex as a robot.

so, v1 seems to be accessing some kind of definition for "blood" and "formal blood" from something referred to here as "d29tY9==" (which people have decoded as "womb") to be used in its programming. that's about all it asserts. d29tY9== could very well be something that all robots utilize in order to understand what blood/fuel is and/or how you can obtain it.

going insane /nsrs when people don't get Solar and New Moon's close relationship and confuse it with

Solar knew he could trust him, Solar noticed this guy was NOT like his Moon, not even like Old Moon, that guy that just decided to use him as therapy for Lunar

Solar being afraid of the guy who accepted him as he was? an Eclipse? Being afraid of this smartass but kind hearted robot who even offered to come to his dimension or said he would visit him? Afraid of the one who accepted him at his dimension and home despite everything?

Solar trusted New Moon FIRST to tell his new name/identity, because he felt safe with him

I can't at all see where has Solar ever been afraid of New Moon when he would be the first to talk firmly to New Moon whenever he was panicking or letting rage take out the worst of him without a single hesitation in his voice and actions. Solar would act as the voice of reason every single time when it came to New Moon, not because of fear, simply because he KNEW how to help him and didn't mind to help

Had Solar ever been afraid of New Moon he would've showed it. He wouldn't even have wanted to share and spend time with him, to tell him things about himself, to work with him, to prank him even

Solar cared so, so much for New Moon and so did New Moon for him

I DON'T THINK PEOPLE UNDERSTAND but i will explain.

A "Moon" and an "Eclipse".

A "Moon" who's NOT the Old one, who has no memories of this other guy, who's trying his best to be better than his past self, or trying to be as smart as his past self, who's living a life he barely knows, who's learning how to deal with stuff and be the "smart one and protective brother", who's not his old self so his sibling can't even look at him, but his other brother can't get rid of his trauma and fears about him overworking himself or maybe lashing out at him or laughing at his face for his feelings, but a guy who threatened his life on his first day of existence treats him as that old self, and mocks him, and blames him for things he never did, New Moon who had to APOLOGIZE to him for things he never did, who can't even get a chance to know if he actually has to like and be as everything Old Moon liked and was, who doesn't even know if he can choose to be his own person

and an "Eclipse", who despite everything decided to help, decided to care, decided to work and be better and fix a mistake that wasn't his, who knew later on that there existed other Eclipses who were absolute cruel terrible assholes, specially an Eclipse that traumatized that new friend he made, who decided from there that he would prove he's NOT like those Eclipses, he's also his own person, he's not "a nice Eclipse", he's just "Eclipse" but still, his own person. He comes to a new dimension looking like the guy who killed his friend when he didn't chose to look that way, he comes and asks for a place to stay, and starts doing his best, overworking himself too cause that's everything he knows to do, cause he's used to try to be useful, he finally starts feeling a part of something, he feels again important to someone and that's why stays, why he gets rid of that past, why he fights for his new home

THIS IS WHY THEY DO HAVE A CLOSE BOND

two guys who are dealing with being better versions of literally themselves, two guys who understand each other's struggles, who work to protect and prove they're worth it, prove they're good, prove they can help

they were not afraid of each other, they were afraid of not being worth it for OTHERS

cause in a place where everyone knows who they are, they were both trying to understand who they wanted to be

5 tips for proofreading & their pros and cons

Define your objectives for each chapter. In my case, some of my chapters are better written than others. My objectives for them will differ. Before starting my proofreading, I list my needs and areas of improvements, and I write them down somewhere so I have them in front of me rather than in my head alone.

Pros : allows you to know which points you need to focus on ; provides a guideline adapted to your needs.

Cons : risk of losing homogeneity and fluidity + flaws may be shifted to other chapters that didn't have them before due to a sudden imbalance.

Plan several proofreading sessions, each one of them addressing ONE NEED AT A TIME. (E.g., one for grammar, another for style, and a final one for coherence. ) And I insist on the "one need at a time" part. Even for those who can multitask (unlike me), I really don't recommend settling for a single proofreading session. It could interfere with your concentration and let you skip some flaws. And please, always give your chapter a final read after your edits to ensure that the elements make sense as a whole, and are not repeated every two paragraphs (I plead guilty, your honor)

Pros: allows you to focus precisely on each point, and give it dedicated attention.

Cons: you can quickly get confused and risk multiple re-readings + significant time investment.

I make my corrections on a separate file. Whatever you do, it's always better to have a backup and therefore to save your files (don't blindly trust autosave) to create archives. I think it's a two-ways process : 1) you open two files simultaneously, one with your V1 and one, blank, where you'll rewrite your chapter as you make changes. Eventually, this new doc will become your V2 ; 2) you copy the parts to proofread into a new document and edit directly in there.

Pros: allows you to rewrite as you wish without being discouraged by the following paragraphs - especially in case of the first way.

Cons: requires multiple files (maybe multiple screens to be at ease) and better organization.

Change the typography. I don't know about you, but after a while, I'm struck by semantic satiation (click on the link - it's Wikipedia -, it's very interesting) and nothing makes sense anymore. After the 52,846th proofreading, I might as well read in another language. I've found a relatively effective trick - not as effective as a complete break, but sometimes you need to move forward - which consists of changing the typography. I can't remember who gave me this advice though, but be sure they've been thanked more than enough in my mind. In any case, seeing words change their shape significantly helps my brain to stay focused and attentive. (Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me but I only see the results.)

Pros: it's simple to implement.

Cons: I don't know if this trick works for everyone or if I'm the only weirdo (you can tell me in the comment section).

Take notes. This is a very personal tip but I keep a proofreading logbook. Like, I record in a few sentences the first time an element is mentioned, how it's describes, and most importantly… I MENTION THE DATES. The story I'm currently writing is heavily governed by a chronological system, so I have an absolute need to keep the day count up to date.

Pros: helps avoid inconsistencies and oversights.

Cons: very tedious to maintain and creates (a lot) of extra work.

Ok I need to talk about the origin change and MC's uselessness and not very neutral description in the demo. I'll talk about the rest of the updated demo and the positive stuff in a later post. Here I want to at least reiterate concerns and criticisms others already expressed, and that I haven't shared here yet. It is very important to put this out there since there is sadly no feedback survey and so the devs know that a lot of us are bothered by the change and why.

For that, I do hope the devs open a feedback survey for the demo V2.

That said. Do not send hate to the devs, nor be hateful or insulting towards them. Criticism should always be respectful to the effort put into the work people have done and the people being it, as well as civil. Nor me nor others in the fandom want to see the patreon backlash hate wave be recreated ever again.

Before I start, I want to say I respect RSS and their work. As a backer, I can attest they are working hard on this game and show proof of it each update (or at least talk about it). I know they are doing their best to give us the best experience possible and put this banger game out there for everyone to enjoy. I do hope the devs will take these feedbacks to heart while understanding it comes from a place of love ✨ 🫶

At first the background change was a good surprised. I was hyped. Also the general hype about the update itself had a part to play in it. As I was playing, it bothered me more and more up until I talked about it with others.

Cutting the Hound origin for the Exiled was a bad idea. Let me explain.

First of all, RSS used the Hound in the marketing of the game for the past 2 years minimum, including for the KS. It was also still present in the demo V1 for 2 years. Almost everyone who made fan MCs used the 3 origins as a framework/blueprint/prompt to shape their characters and backstory around, if not simply assigning one of the 3 origins to their OCs. People got not only used to it but after that much time had the time to build intricate lore around their characters. Cutting it like this so abruptly upset and overwhelmed a lot of people who just saw their storytelling of 2 years being discarded. For a lot of people, me included, TS is a mean for escapism and comfort, and also linked to usual fandom creative hobbies (art, writing, rp, cosplay etc...). So I totally understand the emotionnal distress some people felt.

Second of all, no one was warned and I think that it was not the best move. The origins are put in the forefront and made seem important by the dev team (emphasis on "seem", cause it's not so far). For the reasons above, at least communicating on it and asking the community for feedbacks about this change would have been better (and if not asking the whole fandom, asking the KS backers could have been an option).

Third of all, this change is useless in the current state of the game because MC was unchanged. Not only lines for the alchemist backstory are also on the 2 other routes (prob an error/bug), but why present a survivalist origin if MC still cannot fight at all ? In the demo V1 and V2, MC seem to be an after thought in writing, which is not bad in itself if not for the origins being put in the spotlight that much only to be the most useless choice of the game. Aside a handful of lines being changed there's no difference in how MC acts or interract with the world. It's not that big of a deal tbh, but then why present the origins as if it's going to bring major changes to the game when it doesn't (at least for now) ? Maybe it becomes more relevant in the full game, but that is an aspect of the game that should be noticeable from the start with how important they make the origin seem to be. Also I think they should either fuse Exiled and Hound OR bring back the Hound and flesh them out more (that's my opinion tho).

Then I have two other points that bothers me about MC. Their helplessness no matter the origin and the fact they are assumed to be small and dainty. What do you mean alchemist and houd/exiled MC cannot fight and get the whooping of their lives against a Soulless ? In a world that unforgiving I assume for the Alchemist to use spells and at least try to defend themselves and for the Hound/Exiled (esp the Exiled tbh) to know how to keep their ground in a fight with a Soulless. If Mhin can kill a Soulless that easily despite them being average sized and looking not that strong, then MC sure can too. I get that Mhin needs to be introduced but it doesn't need to be because MC is useless as hell. They could jump in not to miss on the bounty. Or cause MC could be in a tight spot and despite being able to win Mhin jumps in. I'm sure there's other examples too. Now on the size markers many people complained about in the past being unchanged is a bit of a shame. It could be easily fixed by removing any mentions of MC's size (esp with Ais, but with Kuras too that would be nice) or akin to the pronoun choice menu let people chose between at least 3 sizes (small, average and tall) and make dialogue changes according to that choice. Now, it's easier said than done which is why the first option is more feasible and the one I would chose (also, less work).

These issues aren't "that big of a deal", but the one about MC's size is actually the worst one. I know not everyone is under 6 foot not skinny. Sure the descriptions matche me and my MC, but wasn't it the goal to be inclusive ? Seeing friend mutuals and fellow fandom members yet again not feel represented and acknowledged in a game they love when they already have so little representation is sad to say the least. I stand in solidarity with you guys, and your concerns about this are valid. I know that RSS didn't do that to be malicious, but it is time in 2025 to truly keep everyone in check in terms of inclusivity (again, no hate while doing so else it's just bullying)
