Hi! Now that the game has been updated and the new category of eyelashes has been added, I wanted to take the opportunity to make a new collection that works perfectly with glasses and other types of accessories 😊

You can download 3 different styles (dolly, puppy and foxy) divided in 9 items (this way you have more variety, being able to wear the entire model, just the top part or combine the bottom with the traditional EA eyelashes). chan watched as you stumbled out of the doors of the bar, beaming at him and holding up a packet of what looked like french fries. it was your friend groups bi-monthly night out, and who was he to deny you some fun?

you were evidently drunk, and possibly the only one since most of your friend group was either pregnant or had kids at home. chan wrapped you in his arms, his familiar scent engulfing you.

chan picked you effortlessly and felt you giggle against his neck. he laughed and placed you in the car, helping you with your seatbelt, stealing a few french fries in the process.

when he started the car, you asked, "chan?"

"hm?" he replied, turning to face you.

you turned to him with a lovesick grin, "do you love me?"

chan had to stifle his laughter as best as he possible could. gosh, you were just so cute. chan laced his fingers through yours, opting to steer with just one hand.

"y/n, baby," he said gently, "we've been married for three years."

your face instantly lit up and you placed your cheek against the padding of the car seat. "oh yeah!"

chan laughed and ruffled your hair, softly kissing you at a red light to remove the pout on your face.

"chan."

"hm?"

"let's make a baby."

"what?"

chan nearly crashed the car then and there. it wasn't that he didn't want kids. it was just that the two of your never properly discussed it, prioritizing your careers over starting a family. but he should've known it was coming; baby fever had both of you in it's deathly grip.

"i love you, you love me, and when two people love each other very much-"

you babbled on and on about how having a baby would be advantageous.

"we can get free cuddles and not have to go to other people's homes!"

"looking after a baby is more than just free cuddles honey."

you frowned, your lip caught between your teeth. "i know! we'll do the taking care part too. i can change the diapers in the morning, and you can do it in the night, since you don't sleep anyways."

you continued with a satisfied smile, "and then we'll get free cuddles."

chan watched you with what he bet were literal hearts in his eyes. when your initial enthusiasm died down to a form of exhaustion, you placed your head against his shoulder and yawned.

"promise me you'll talk about this when you're sober?"

"promise," you sighed sleepily, hooking your pinky finger with his and giving him a triumphant smile.

god, he had never loved you more. but that would be a lie. he found himself loving you more with each passing second he had knowing that he loved you and you loved him.

(ten months later proof of that promise was nestled in chan's arms and now he had two people whom he could proudly expend all his love on for the rest of forever if possible.)

His Last Meal

Summary: Staying with Sylus while on your period wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be when he breaks into your snack supply.

A/N: Hiiii, I know I haven’t posted in a while…My job requires a lot of writing so I tend to get burnt out/ writers block really easily. Hopefully quick oneshots like this help me out of it. Enjoy friends!

My period was grueling this time around. Even before I started actually bleeding, it felt like someone had sucked any and all life and energy out of my body. Now on day two, I was wearing maxi everything to hold my heavy flow and my body just felt like a giant walking bruise.

Thank god the association gives us hunters personal time off during our monthly’s. Before I even alerted Captain Jenna for my time off request, Sylus had notified me via text that he was ready for me to spend my red days with him.

Sweetie, what movies should I get for our time together?

Before you ask, I know you’re close to your period. You can’t hide from me 😎

I called him later that day to accuse him of obtaining this knowledge when he kindly reminded me of how I had added him to my period tracker. I was a bit annoyed at first, but now, after being in Sylus’ care, I really felt loved and cared for.

That is, until his inevitable betrayal.

He had me stay with him in his home in the N109 zone and all my cravings and aches were eased with nothing more but a lift of his finger. Today in particular, I was catching up on a book I had been reading in his study when Sylus came in, dressed to the nines, he must’ve come back from what I’m assuming is one of his fancy auctions.

“There’s my beloved, how are you feeling? Any cravings I need to quell?” His voice was in that soft yet gentled tone I know that was only reserved for me.

“You know, actually, now that you mention it,” I sit and ponder when I remember a pint of my favorite ice cream in the freezer downstairs, “I think I want something sweet right about now…”

His chuckle was light and airy, “Oh? How about some fresh pastries? Or perhaps you’re in the mood for some fresh fruits?” His ruby eyes then glisten with a hint of mischief as he smirks and places his hand on his chin, “Or maybe you’re after the desert in the freezer with the note labeled, ‘SYLUS DO NOT EAT.’”

I squint my eyes to glare at him, “You better choose your next words carefully…”

“Mmmm, we’ll you see kitten, I would offer to grab it for you, but I’m afraid the contents of your little treat are already in my stomach.”

Betrayal stabs me through my chest as I leap of the couch to lightly bang on his chest, “You bastard! How dare you! I hate you!”

His mocking laugh resounds in my ears as my emotions of anger overwhelm me, I was genuinely looking forward to my sweet treat and I specifically told him to stay away from my snacks. I felt a sting of tears in the corner of my eyes as I looked up at him with a genuine expression of hurt.

Sylus sighs seeing my expression and wipes the corner of my eyes, “Oh my sweet kitten,” he tries to kiss my lips and I dramatically turn my face away from him, “Now, now… I got you something better than some cheap ice cream.”

“It was my ice cream! I left a note so you wouldn’t eat it! And you still did!” I was not letting him go that easily.

“I ate it so you wouldn’t snack on it while I was away,” he suddenly used his evol to produce a fancy black gift bag into my hands.

I stepped back with an apprehensive look as I opened the bag to reveal the most beautiful boxed chocolate cake. I gasped as I opened it, “Sy! Is this from that high-end bakery?”

“Mhmm…It’s a chiffon chocolate cake. I believe a certain someone sent me a link to a video about how elusive this cake was supposed to be.” He spoke in an arrogant, ‘I told you so,’ tone as he puffed out his chest with pride.

“Isn’t this cake like stupid expensive? How did you get your hands on it?” I was still stunned with amazement as I walked over to the coffee table to sit down the pricey cake.

“Oh? you’re doubting my capabilities? Please, there is nothing on this planet or the cosmo’s beyond that I couldn’t get my hands on for you.”

I flush at his sincerity and walk up and wrap my arms around him in a tight hug.

“What do you say Sweetie?” he scolds me a bit with a teasing tone.

“Thank you… and sorry for hitting you… This is way better than ice cream,” I nestle my face in his chest to avoid his gloating attitude.

He pats my head and kisses the top of it as he whispers, “You’re welcome… Now, would you like to share a slice with me, or shall I get you another Post-it to tell me to keep my claws off?”

“I think I can spare just one slice for you,” I pull away and smirk at him.

“Just one?”

“Don’t push your luck.”

He chuckled, “Wouldn’t dream of it kitten.”

HELL [REDACTED] IT'S TIME FOR A NEW AND VERY OVERDUE EDITION OF THE MONTHLY POST! THE POST WHERE WE UPDATE YOU ON OUR ANIMATION'S PRODUCTION!

The holidays slowed things down a little bit for us so it was a slow month progress-wise, however we wanted to handle the popular fan request of showing off the redesigns of Flazey and Peragene...Here those are!

One thing we HAVE been working on is creating a more proper color script to give the short alot more pretty factor to it! Our color designer has ben having a blast with this and we cannot wait to utilize it!

We're glad youve all been enjoying our first clip! however we noticed alot wrong with it, to which we've been fixing (with the help of our cool color script)

In terms of animation progress, corey has been quite busy, so only a few new shots have been animated. However, the scene of our clip is NEARLY done with only about 3 shots left to go until we have our first fully animated scene! 9 more to go!

Q: How many mods run this account?

A: There are three of us, although we have been told by our supervisors that Oracle can and will send alerts through us. To talk to us, say one of our names, “Maxi”, “Samuel”, or “Rusty”, if you want to talk to one of us specifically, or “Mods” or “the Mods” if you don't care who answers.

Q: Do any of you have specialties?

A: Rusty knows the most about the vigilantes and their histories. Samuel supposedly knows the most about the rogues, although he's never had to prove this. Maxi proofreads most posts and knows the most about mundane aspects of living in this city.

Q: Mod pronouns?

A: Mod Maxi uses she/her, Mod Samuel uses he/him, and Mod Rusty is genderfluid and won't care.

Q: Do we report villain or vigilante sightings to you?

A: You can, but you should probably send them to BatWatch or a crisis line. Since there are only three of us, we aren't on 24/7 like the crisis lines.

Q: Do I report it if I saw Batman and Catwoman making out on the roof?

A: We've seen that, everyone has seen that, please stop sending us pictures.

Q: Do I report it if I see heroes or vigilantes that do not live in Gotham?

A: Like BatWatch but unlike the crisis lines, we have filters for out of towners.

Q: Red Hood is a crime lord, not a vigilante, stop reporting on him.

A: Die mad about it. (Edit: Maxi and our supervisors said we can't say that.)

Q: Why do you talk about Wayne Enterprises so much?

A: They have so many events that you should try doing things in this city without running into something done by them.

🌼 Modding Work in Progress 🌼

I wanna share more about the gameplay mod that I'm working on. ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ

For the last few weeks, I've been working on a pretty substantial gameplay mod. I've sunk well over 100 hours into it, and I'm really excited about the progress so far. I've been playtesting the features that I've completed while I work on bringing my other ideas to life.

My style of mod creation is making it feel as seamless and Maxis Match as possible—I prefer to not be constantly reminded that I have a lot of mods in my game. I want it to feel like it's part of the game. I also don't enjoy an overwhelming amount of moodlets or having to go out of my way in the pie menu, so simplicity is key.

My current design has separate files that you can pick and choose which features you want in your game and remove the ones you don't. I want you to be able to easily remove features that may conflict with your favorite mods (like Wonderful/Wicked Whims).

Features I've completed so far:

Emotion-Based Appearance Changes - sims will blush when they feel flirty, have flushed cheeks when they're embarrassed, and have a black eye when they lose a fight. Sims can cover the black eye by applying concealer at the mirror.

Juice-Induced Intoxication Mechanic - sims will start feeling tipsy when they drink bar drinks, and after awhile they'll become intoxicated. There are a few different drunken states they can be in—flirty, angry, silly, and a general daze. Once the juice wears off and they start sobering up, they can get lucky and the daze will fade easily, or they can have a rough hangover period that'll cause them to throw up and feel ill for awhile.

Seasonal Allergies and Illnesses - sims will have occasional illnesses varying in severity, ranging from mild allergies to a severe case of the flu or stomach flu. Super sick sims will have dark circles under their eyes or flushed red cheeks and an irritated, red nose. Sims unlucky enough to get the stomach flu will be running to the bathroom often, sometimes to throw up. If you have the Seasons expansion then each season will contain their own season-specific maladies, and if not then each illness will be possible all the time! Your sim can drink tea to speed up the healing process, or they can visit the doctor (off-screen) to receive immediate treatment.

Features I'm in the progress of completing:

Monthly Menstrual Cycle - fertile sims will experience their monthly cycle—they'll have a 2 or 3-day long period every two weeks in-game, experiencing random ailments like cramps, cravings, and mood-swings while on their period. They'll also have to change their pad/tampon at least every 8-12 hours, or they'll start to suffer for it. I'll have that feature disabled for townies to make life easier. There won't be any items to purchase, just a simple interaction with the toilet.

Features that I'm thinking of adding:

Self-Care Features - sims can apply different clay masks for various beneficial buffs, and I'm considering a feature that'll cause your active sims to get stained teeth and/or bad breath if they don't brush their teeth every once-in-a-while. I don't plan to enable that for NPCs.

Romance Interaction Variety - with the new expansion pack coming, I'm thinking of creating a variety of romantic interactions that add more realism and dynamics to different relationship types. Wholesome friends-to-lovers style interactions, or enemies-to-lovers style arguments that increase the romance bar.

I'll be posting occasional updates on my progress if you're interested in playing with it once it's released.

Current Month in TOA: Lone Moon

This month is event month, so there will be no new mission board! But like last year, the June & July Mission Board will be extended to run through the end of August. The Unaffiliated requirement remains in effect for the Unaffiliated & Faculty-specific tasks.

The event will run from August 1st to August 31st. Signups are now closed - stay tuned for more information tomorrow at noon EST!

Our monthly submission limit on the site that hosts our event signups has been reset so everyone is free to take the quiz for fun now.

We will be announcing a second 5th-Year Anniversary activity on August 4th and another on August 8th. This will not require IC participation. Stay tuned for the details.

Please don’t forget to leave feedback on our feedback poll for this month! We do check the responses regularly, so if you have concerns during the event, the feedback poll is an appropriate place to pop in. Alternatively, the mods’ DMs are always open. We're wiping the Wanted List this month so our character wish list will be fresh for the new year.

Important Updates

The requirements to master a lord class acquired for participation in an event have been updated. You cannot master the class with the same event that you acquired it, but any official event afterwards (Arena, Ethereal ball, etc.) can count for its mastery

We are changing our event schedule for all subsequent years: there will now only be ONE Arena event per year, not two, and it will be held in November. Originally, the biannual Arena design was implemented to rigorously test the combat manual, which was brand new at the time. Now that the manual is more or less stable, we've decided that two Arena events is no longer necessary. Because we already had an Arena event this year in June though, the next Arena won't take place until November 2025.

TOA runs a lot of events, and it makes it difficult for our members (and the mods) to have a life outside of TOA or reply to regular threads in a timely manner. Many of our members also have great ideas of their own and have expressed interest in running their own mini events during the year, but there just hasn't been a good time for them when TOA has a big event every other month. We hope that removing the second Arena will give everyone some breathing room.

New Site & Patreon Changes

First off, say hello to Simularity v.2025! All of the mod, custom content, lots, and other posts have been rewritten and streamlined with new features added, old features removed. I even created a new avatar for Simularity for 2025! If you find anything broken or otherwise amiss, please let me know. One downside of recreating the website for 2025, I lost all the comments on the old posts. Feel free to leave new ones on the new posts! Oh, did I tell you all that I’m on Bluesky now? 

Patreon Changes

Due to dire financial circumstances, I am changing the way my Patreon works and how mods are released. I have updated all of the tiers with new benefits and changed the price of two tiers. The biggest change I should mention here is the 2-Week Early Mod Access. From now on, the members of the $4, $8, and $14 tiers will receive mods 2 weeks before general release. Other benefits for the various tiers include special Discord roles, WIP Previews, Opinion Polls, All Updated in One Zip, All Mods in One Zip, Mods in Beta Access, and Top Priority Request. I plan on setting it up so that anyone can make one-time donations of either $5 or $10 on Patreon if they are unable to support a monthly subscription. I am also reading up on how to setup yearly subscriptions with a discount. (I’ve had to do a LOT of reading of Patreon help pages and manuals today!) I have deleted ALL old posts from my Patreon account. All future posts will be far better organized using Patreon’s Collections feature and I’ll do better when creating tags. I’ll make a post on Patreon detailing all of the changes. 

Mod Updates

No Dying Livestock – According to Maxis, the bug that caused animals to still die even with the “don’t die” option checked in Game Options–>Pack Options, has been fixed in the last v1.113 patch. So, unless someone tells me otherwise, my No Dying Livestock mod is now OBSOLETE.

Ultimate Adventurer Aspiration – Newly re-released after a total overhaul. I added some new features, fixed old ones, and more.

Paranormal Proficiency Aspiration – This mod did have broken social interactions. They are now FIXED. So, please download the updated aspiration file to get the fixed version.

More Outcomes to Advice Calls – Fixed a tuning error which may have been causing some users to experience LEs.

Stop Dogs from Drinking & Playing in Puddles – Updated for the lasted patches/packs and now includes code to stop Cats from drinking puddles.

The following career mods all had various fixes and updates made to them: Comedian Career, Adventurer Career, Psychology Career, Rock Star Career.

The following mods were all updated to work with the latest patches and packs: Invite Any Toddlers to Play Date Event, Don’t Do That Mods Vol 1, Don’t Do That Mods Vol 2, Faster Archaeology, Faster Plant Research, Faster Crafting on Gemology Table, Faster Book Writing, No More Time Capsules or Maps, Cottage Living Fixes Collection, and Better University Tutoring.

I have also edited the readme text files in all zip files (including Lots and CC in addition to Mods) so that they now include a short description of what the files are in the zip. This is so you will know what each file is for as long as you store the text files somewhere (don’t put them in your Mods folder).

New Mods

I have two new mods now in Early Access for Patreon members of certain tiers; everyone else will have access on March 17th. The first is a mod I created after being stranded without climbing gear while on vacation at Mt. Komorobi while testing out my Adventure aspiration. Now you will be able to purchase climbing gear directly from your Sim’s phone no matter where you are/no computer required! Buy Climbing Gear via Phone (Snowy Escape Required). The other new mod makes it so that you won’t feel like building/upgrading a Rocketship is equivalent to watching grass grow (it’s incredibly slow). It speeds up building by about twice as fast as before. If that’s still too slow, let me know and I’ll increase the speed more or make alternate flavors of the mod. Faster Rocketship Building & Upgrading (Base Game).

Custom Content Updates

I haven’t updated anything yet; nothing needs it yet that I know of. I saw that tattoos will become recolorable in CAS so I’m assuming all of my tattoo CC will need updating once Sims 4 Studio releases an appropriate batch fix. For now, they are not on the site, but I will be adding them back as soon as they are updated.
