14. The character/story arc I find the most compelling

it absolutely has to be Mitsurugi's own character arc. he's grown so much since the start of GyakuSai 1 and it makes me so emotional!!!

16. A scene/moment that makes me really emotional every single time

this is such a small thing but. when i was going through GyakuKen 1, i'd noticed that in the first three cases, whenever a character becomes your partner, they announce it loudly and say that they're going to help you, and then you see them added as your partner. however in the last case, that scene just...doesn't happen. Mitsurugi meets up with Itonokogiri at the crime scene that they both independently arrived at and they just. immediately fall in step with one another. OF COURSE Itonokogiri would be Mitsurugi's partner, even tho Mitsurugi wasn't here for work and Itonokogiri was here for another job. OF COURSE it goes without saying. god it just makes me so emotional each time.
