one difference between the historical and modern timelines that's interesting to me is how the characters treat death. the historical characters tend to accept it, that there are limits to what you can do to fight it. they're not happy about it by any means but it's a reality they live with. however the modern characters do not. they fight death. they make deals with demons to prevent it and do extremely reckless and unheard of things to save their friends lives. off the charts insane really.

the last one is rather random and cheesy, but I had the idea that since they can't bond in Tsaheylu here, Caleb puts Dilla's queue against his chest so she can feel his heartbeat instead 💙

i've always loved how eden alkaid takes the skills he learned from the prefect luminary to destroy (building facilities/weapons of mass destruction) and uses them to rebuild (becoming a designer/architect who takes on clients in the new eden)

it ties into alkaid's running theme of rebirth so well. he is spring, he is the lily of the valley. his life begins anew.

Regarding the latest TWP controversy. A Rant.

A lot of ppl from the kitty fandom showed their true colors when the latest newsletter from Cassie Clare was released. It was all ‘Queen Dru’ or ‘Go Dru’ until Dru was worded before kitty in the newsletter and suddenly many resorted to body shaming Dru and hating on her when Cassie Clare made it clear that there is no such thing as main couple in TWP. Seriously just like many ppl are happy and excited about Kitty so is many ppl excited to see Dru and her adventures and love life. Cassie mentioned time and time again that Dru will be a significant character so why is so many ppl in the Kitty fandom so upset???? Dru barely has any content you guys had multiple povs through out TDA, tons of content in Gotsh, Sobh, artworks that wasn’t enough??? You all like Dru as long as she doesn’t overshadow your faves. I’m not a big fan of Kitty but I’m not going to throw a huge tantrum and cry if they become the focus of the author in newsletters or discussions. So many ppl in the fandom are in their 20s and even 30s act like middle schoolers who throw fits because things don’t go the way they want it to. Dru is central to the plot as much as Kitty if you don’t like that, you can keep crying and seething about it. And shout out to the TSC fans who were mature about this whole situation. They’ve my heart 💕

Gof is an 18+ semilit to Novela literacy role-play group. We are a group with three different fandoms.

To make it absolutely clear, references in my recently posted Chapter 4 of Bloodbang Chronicles did indeed include but were not limited to the following:

Apocalypse AU time, with a pinch of body horror.

top: Dilla before and after infection.

A virus changes people into rabid flesh eating monsters. Poor Dilla tragically gets infected when she gets separated from her group, however during the process of her transformation she is pregnant and gives birth to her and Caleb's son Kai, and that plus her great resilience to protect her child somehow prevents her from loosing most of her sanity and awareness. Kai is born uninfected, and Caleb and the group find Dilla transformed but consciously protecting the baby (if this reminds you of a plot of a manga which is floating around, that's because we took inspiration from it 😆)

Infected Dilla maintains her full humanity and awareness as long as she is not starved, but if by some chance she runs out of food her new found instincts will eventually overwhelm her, and she will lose complete control of herself and enter a dangerous frenzy, attacking anyone around her indiscriminately, unable to recognize friend from foe(or prey), because of this (and after a tragic accident that will be revealed later) she becomes extremely careful with proper feeding, for she is terrified of hurting others, especially her loved ones.  

Dilla needs flesh to eat because of the infection, therefore she mostly resorts to hunting other dangerous infected people who attack uninfected survivors.

Dilla's body changed because of the infection, and her face became disfigured, her mouth especially ripped apart from her cheeks almost up to her ears with rows of sharp teeth. Unfortunately this made most people react in a fearful, discriminatory and sometimes even violent manner with her, so to avoid scaring other people, or provoke tension when walking out in the open, Dilla uses fabrics, scarfs and a cloak to hide her mouth and face.

The only ones to whom she openly shows herself and her face to are her beloved Caleb, their son Kai, and later her brother Ballard and his companion Cornelia.

This is a rough one for the poor sweet girl and her loved ones, a lot of trauma, hurt and comfort ❤️‍🩹
