So as a top transmasc I have a really hard time seeing characters I relate to as transmasc and bottoms/switches. However it's genuinely baffling to me how many Foggy/Matt fics have Foggy as ftm and the bottom. Like...you fools...you utter buffoons.

Matthew Murdock is a man who could be gods angriest Catholic transgender AND so desperately wants to be vulnerable while being unable to. Like I personally know at least two raised Catholic trans men who got into fight clubs to release suppressed anger and struggle with the rawness of intimacy so they keep everyone but their closest at arms length.

All this to say I think Matt tops because he's terrified of giving up control or letting someone else have that amount of power over him UNLESS that person is Franklin Nelson.

I was very shocked and bewildered, because Foggy for me is such an important and borderline sacred character. I view him as Matt's best friend and a platonic soulmate even. Even if I ship Matt/Frank,there's no denying Foggy's immense importance

I don't know what you guys are going through right now. I was fcking devastated and I'm not even the first in line.
